Balakrishna to direct his super hit sequel

Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the trailer launch of Vishwak Sen’s Dhamki that was held in AMB Cinemas this evening. During his speech, Balakrishna hinted of returning back to director’s chair. “I wanted to direct a film but it did not happen. Narthanasala was kept on hold and I never got a chance to direct a film again. I even did not test my luck as a director. I will direct Aditya 999 and the film will release next year. Vishwak Sen is directing and playing the lead role. Wishing him all the best” told Balakrishna.

Vishwak Sen will be seen in a dual role in Dhamki which was directed by the actor himself. Vishwak’s home banner also produced Dhamki and the trailer is packed with interesting elements and action. Nivetha Pethuraj is the lead actress and Rao Ramesh will be seen in an important role. The film is aimed for February 2023 release in theatres.

How much is Balayya charging for Nartanasala streaming?

Nandamuri Balakrishna decided to release the 17-minute video footage of his shelved project Nartanasala. The content is digitally remastered and will start streaming on Shreyas ET from October 24th. Balakrishna himself directed and produced Nartanasala. This happens to be the last film of veteran actress Soundarya who died in a chopper crash long ago. The price for streaming Nartanasala is fixed as Rs 50.

However, Balayya fans can pay any amount to view the film. Balakrishna already announced that he will share a part of the profits for charity. Balakrishna, Soundary, Sarath Babu and Srihari played the lead roles in Nartanasala. There are talks that some of the fans are in plans to pay close to Rs 10 lakhs to stream Nartanasala. Balakrishna himself will announce the donations and the names of his fans who are donating for a cause soon.

Among the senior heroes we have seen only Nandamuri Balakrishna in mythological roles that too in Lord Rama and Lord Krishna avatars but never in other characters.

And so here is Balayya in Arjuna’s avatar and this is from his shelved project ‘Narthanasala.’ Last evening NBK has announced that he would be releasing 17 mins footage of this film on October 24th on the occasion of Dusshera.

Short while ago the first look was unveiled. Balayya looks near to perfect in the Arjuna’s role. As it is 16 years old project the Nandamuri hero looks young while his hairdo and make-up are good.

‘Narthanasala’ 17 mins version will release on NBK theatre through Shreyas ET.

NBK’s Nartanasala to have a digital release

Nandamuri Balakrishna is a fan of Nartanasala among his father late NTR’s movies. Balakrishna initiated plans and wanted to direct the film. The film got shelved due to various reasons and the shot content was not released. The 17-minute footage is now all set for release during Dasara on NBK Theatres through Shreyas ET. Balakrishna played Arjuna, Soundarya played Draupadi, Srihari played Bheema and Sarath Babu essayed the role of Dharmaraju in Nartanasala.

Balakrishna also informed that a part of the amount collected through the digital release will be used for charity. NBK’s Nartanasala will release on October 24th. Balakrishna is on a break because of coronavirus and he will resume the shoot of Boyapati’s film from December.

Naga Shaurya’s film faces backlash from Hijras

Naga Shaurya’s upcoming film Narthanasala has landed in a soup. As per the latest reports, a protest has been demonstrated by Hijras at Film Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad demanding apology from Narthanasala team for insulting them and putting their gender in bad light.

The recently released teaser is the reason for their protest. In the teaser, Shaurya is showcased as a gay who has no feelings towards opposite sex. Hijras are now protesting to stop the film from releasing as it could hurt their sentiments.

The makers of Narthanasala, however, clarified that there is nothing objectionable against Hijras and said that the film is a complete entertainer. Narthanasala is slated for release on August 31st.

New releases fail, Narthanasala set to benefit bigtime

As Geetha Govindham continues to rake in decent revenues in the second week, the latest releases have failed to garner the attention of audience. Aadhi Pinisetty’s Neevevero and Nara Rohit’s Aatagallu have registered dismal collections due to poor word of mouth.

With new releases falling flat and Geetha Govindham likely to slow down a bit in the coming days, Naga Shaurya’s Narthanasala is likely to benefit bigtime. The postponement of Shailaja Reddy Alludu has clearly given a huge advantage for Narthanasala which is likely to take a decent opening due to the positive pre release buzz among audience.

Narthanasala has been carrying good reports from inside sources. Also, the release of a low budget film like Paper Boy wouldn’t impact much on Narthanasala. So, if the film manages to garner good talk, it would be of no surprise that it might set the cash registers ringing till the release of next biggie.

As Naga Shaurya has good craze among younger generation audience and family audience, it has a strong chance that the film will have good start at the box office.

One more Kirrak Party girl for Naga Shaurya
