Alia Bhatt is one of the leading ladies in RRR, the magnum opus of SS Rajamouli that features NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The actress planned to join the shoot during the second half of this year once she wraps up her work for Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra. But the latest update says that she is unwell due to intestinal infection. Alia decided not to disrupt the schedule and shot for the film in unbearable heat in Varanasi.

But things turning worse, the schedule has been cut short and Alia Bhatt flew to New York to recover completely and then return to work. This will have an impact on the schedules of Brahmastra and RRR. She informed the same to the team of RRR and her shooting schedules will be planned soon after her return. The team of RRR will now have to make enough changes to the shooting schedules after she turns well and allocates dates. The shoot of RRR is taking place in Hyderabad currently.

After the mammoth global success of Baahubali series, director SS Rajamouli’s popularity outside India has reached a whole new level. This is the reason why his next film RRR, starring NTR and Ram Charan, is red hot in trade circles in international market. The 300 Crore budget patriotic drama is likely to do unprecedented pre release business even before the shoot is half done.

Telugu360 has now exclusively learnt that the overseas theatrical rights of RRR have been snapped for a stunning 65 Crore. Dubai based distribution company Phars Films LLC has reportedly made a single payment to RRR producer to grab the all language rights of all countries barring China. This is on par with the pre release business of Baahubali 2 in overseas. It seems like RRR is going to set new benchmark for Indian films in terms of pre release business.

RRR also features Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in significant roles. The film is slated for release in 2020.

SS Rajamouli’s ambitious patriotic drama which is tentatively titled as RRR is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. NTR and Ram Charan are essaying iconic characters of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju in this big budget entertainer. Currently, a massive fight sequence which comes just before the interval block is being canned with nearly 1500 artists in a special set mounted in Aluminium factory of Hyderabad. NTR is taking part in the shoot and Ram Charan is expected to join the sets shortly. Rajamouli is spending a mammoth budget for intro and interval episodes. The story is set in the backdrop of Independence day. After this schedule, they will travel to North India for an extensive schedule and one foreign outing to shoot some portions.

RRR shoot has been kept on hold after both the lead actors NTR and Charan injured themselves. Over a month got wasted and the fresh schedule commenced recently in Hyderabad. Rajamouli asked his team to plan back to back schedules without any breaks to cover up the wasted time. Young Tiger NTR injured himself on the sets of RRR after which the shoot of the film has been kept on hold. Before this, the other lead actor Ram Charan injured his ankle and is on a break. The fresh schedule of RRR started from yesterday and NTR is participating in the new schedule in Hyderabad. But the update says that NTR is yet to recover from his injury. NTR along with his brother Kalyanram paid tributes to his grandfather NTR on his birth anniversary in NTR Ghat this morning.

NTR was spotted with a band over his right wrist which is a clear indication that he is yet to completely recover from the injury. His fans are left worried that their favorite actor is shooting before he recovered completely. There are talks that Rajamouli planned a small schedule which will be wrapped up soon and NTR will have ample time to recover completely and get back to work. The next schedule of RRR will take place in Ahmedabad next month and both NTR, Charan will participate in the shoot.
