Prabhas ready to shoot for Salaar 2

Pan-Indian star Prabhas has his diary full for the next couple of years. The top actor wrapped up the shoot of Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD that is slated for June 27th release. The actor also allocated some dates for Maruthi’s Raja Saab and he completed a quick schedule for the film. Prabhas is now completely focused on Salaar 2 and the shoot of the film will kick-start by the end of this month. Prashanth Neel is currently planning a month-long schedule and some key portions along with a song will be shot in this schedule.

Prabhas is in plans to allocate bulk dates and complete the shoot of Salaar 2 and the team is keen to release the film for Christmas release. Prabhas has also plans to complete Raja Saab and move on to Sandeep Vanga’s film by the end of this year. Salaar 2 features Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in the other lead roles. Hombale Films are the producers and Salaar 2 has a huge amount of action drama when compared to the first part.

Salaar 2 aims Christmas 2024 Release?

Prashanth Neel is completely focused on Salaar 2 and the final script is locked recently. The schedules are planned and the shoot starts at the end of May in Hyderabad. Most of the shoot will take place in the sets erected in Ramoji Film City and Salaar 2 is expected to be high on action. Prashanth Neel and his team are in plans to release Salaar 2 for Christmas this year. The shoot will be completed by October as per the update.

Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan will reprise their roles from the first installment. Prabhas has allocated bulk dates for the film. Hombale Films are the producers and Ravi Basrur scores the music. Prashanth Neel is also working on NTR’s film which is an actioner and the film hits the sets this year. NTR will complete the shoot of Devara and War 2 before joining Prashanth Neel’s film.

No truth in Kiara Advani working with Prabhas

Bollywood media has been speculating false news about South films. The other day there were speculations that Kiara Advani is roped in as the leading lady in Salaar 2 featuring Prabhas in the lead role. The news also told that Prabhas and Kiara Advani will have a special song in the film. But the news is totally untrue. Kiara was never approached for Salaar 2 and Shruti Haasan will be the leading lady in the second installment too.

Kiara Advani is busy with several Hindi and Telugu films. The shoot of Salaar 2 is expected to start in June this year. Prashanth Neel is the director and Hombale Films are the producers. Salaar 2 is aimed for summer 2025 release and the film has a high dose of action. On the other side, Kiara Advani is the leading lady in Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 and Hrithik Roshan, NTR starrer War 3.

Salaar 2 aims Summer 2025 Release

Prabhas is on a summer break and he will return back to India by the end of May. He has to promote his upcoming release Kalki 2898 AD and the new release date of the film is expected to be announced very soon. Prabhas is committed to Salaar 2 and Prashanth Neel is currently planning the schedules of the film. The filming will start in May while Prabhas will join the sets of Salaar 2 in June. Prashanth Neel has acquired the dates of all the actors and he is planning the shooting schedules. The filming will complete before the end of this year and Salaar 2 will have a theatrical release in summer 2025.

Hombale Films are the producers and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu and others will be seen in other important roles in Salaar 2. Prabhas also will resume the shoot of Maruthi’s Raja Saab and the team is in plans to release the film for Sankranthi 2025. Apart from this, Prabhas is committed to Sandeep Vanga’s Spirit and Hanu Raghavapudi’s untitled film.

Salaar 2 to start in 2026?

Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s film Salaar: Part 1 is doing decent business all over and they announced the sequel long ago. Prashanth Neel is yet to shoot the sequel and the film is in the pipeline and it will roll after the duo will complete their current projects. Prabhas is occupied with the shoot of Kalki 2898 AD and Maruthi’s film. He will start the shoot of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit in October and the actor has to allocate bulk dates for the project. After this, Prabhas has a periodic film with Hanu Raghavapudi and the scriptwork is on. So, the shoot of Salaar 2 will get delayed because of the hectic schedules of Prabhas.

Prashanth Neel will work with NTR in his next film and he also lined up KGF: Chapter 3 after wrapping up NTR’s film. So, the shoot of Salaar 2 will not start anytime before 2025. Prabhas and Prashanth Neel will collaborate again in 2026. Hombale Films will produce Salaar 2 and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in an important role.
