Trisha joins back the much awaited sequel

Chiyaan Vikram and Trisha teamed up for Saamy in 2003 and this mass entertainer was an instant hit and was remade in several other languages. Director Hari after years impressed Vikram with the script of the sequel and the film has been titled Saamy Square. The regular shoot of the film kick-started months ago and Keerthy Suresh, Trisha have been roped in for the female leads. However Trisha walked out of the project citing creative differences with the director regarding her character in the action entertainer.

However Hari during his recent interview clarified that the actress is very much in the project. The differences have been sorted and Trisha will join the shoot from the next schedule. Vikram will be seen essaying the role of a cop and Thameens Films is bankrolling this big budget action entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Saamy Square has been slated for June 14th 2018 release in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Sankranthi 2018 is getting bigger with each passing day. Already Pawan Kalyan’s Agnatavaasi, Balakrishna’s Jai Simha and a couple of medium budget films have been confirmed to release during the Sankranthi season. Now, it has been revealed that three noted Tamil biggies will challenge Telugu films at the Sankranthi box office.

Vishal’s Abhimanyudu, which has Samantha as the female lead, has been confirmed to release in Telugu for Sankranthi. The action thriller directed by PS Mitran will get a decent release in Telugu states considering Vishal’s market here.

Talented Tamil superstar Suriya has joined the Sankranthi race with his upcoming film Thaana Serndha Kootam which is likely to be titled as Kaisar in Telugu. Vignesh Sivan is the director for the film and Keerthi Suresh is the heroine. As Suriya carries good craze in Telugu states, this film is likely to have a solid release in Telugu as well.

Also in the Sankranthi race is versatile Tamil actor Vikram’s Sketch which is in the making since a long time. Starring Tamannaah as the female lead, Sketch is directed by Vijay Chander. The film will simultaneously release in Telugu and Tamil on Jan 12th.

So, it is going to be a jam-packed Sankranthi season at the Tollywood box office.

Chiyaan Vikram has been seen in a stunning look for his next film Dhruva Natchathiram which is touted to be spy thriller. Gautham Vasudev Menon is directing the film and Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma are the female leads. The movie has been shot across some exclusive locales of the globe and the makers are in plans to release the film in three installments. A stylish teaser has been shot in New York after which the regular shoot kick-started in Coonoor.

Dhruva Natchathiram has been shot across Slovenia, Bulgaria, Abu Dhabi, Georgia and Turkey. The movie is all about ten people who work to safeguard the country. The first installment of the film is expected to hit the screens during April 2018. Vikram will take breaks and will shoot for his other commitments and will work for Dhruva Natchathiram as per the schedules. Parthiban, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Simran will be seen in other pivotal roles.

Vijay Devarakonda’s cult classic Arjun Reddy created huge buzz across the country and the movie has been termed as a blockcbuster. Sandeep Vanga directed the movie and soon after the film’s release, the makers have been approached with many lucrative offers to remake the film in neighbouring languages. There have been lot of speculations that Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv will make his debut with the remake.

Now the official news is that critically acclaimed director Bala has been approached to direct the remake which will start rolling next year. Dhruv is currently preparing for the role and a team of writers are penning the script. E4 Entertainments will bankroll the project and Vikram felt that Arjun Reddy remake will be the best debut for any actor. Bala earlier directed Vikram’s Siva Putrudu.

Young music sensation Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for Saamy 2. The first schedule will be wrapped up in Chennai after which Saamy 2 movie unit will shift to North India for a massive schedule.

Vikram’s striking makeover and his age defying looks in the teaser are creating ripples among the viewers and the teaser is going viral in social media. The thumping background score given by Harris Jayraj uplifts the zeal of watching the teaser. Tipped to be a spy thriller, Dhruva Natachathiram has Ritu Varma as the female lead.

Gautham Menon is the director and Escape Artists Motion Pictures is producing the film. The principal shooting is progressing at a brisk pace at present.

Nayanatara to team up with talented actor for the first time
