Tamil actor turned politician Vijayakanth is critically ill. He has been admitted to a private hospital a week ago and his health condition deteriorated from the past two days and he is kept on pulmonary support. He was the founder of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK). His original name is Narayanan Vijayaraj Alagarswami. He is fondly known as Captain and he made his political entry in the year 2006. Several actors and his well wishers wished the 71-year-old actor a speedy recovery.
