Telugu actor Allu Arjun became a global sensation after his ‘Pushpa’ franchise turned out to be a monstrous box office success. His inimitable mannerisms as Pushpa Raj captured the attention of audiences and celebs across the world and made him a global icon. There is a lot of anticipation around his next project and the makers are going all out to match the hype and hysteria surrounding the heady combination of Allu Arjun and Atlee.

If the ongoing reports in the media circles are to be believed, director Atlee has approached renowned Hollywood actor Will Smith to portray the role of an antagonist in this much anticipated big-budget entertainer which is touted to be a science fiction thriller budgeted at 800 Crores. If this news turns out to be true then it will be one of the biggest casting coups ever in the history of Indian cinema. Will Smith will play Allu Arjun’s nemesis and the face-off will be nothing short of epic showdown.

Sources close to the team revealed that the director might opt for another popular English star Dwayne Johnson if Will Smith doesn’t come on board. As of now, there are strong chances for either of them to join AA22xA6 as the main antagonist.

The untitled film is coming from the stables of Sun Pictures and will feature star-studded artists and experienced technical team. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has already been roped in as one of the female leads. Mrunal Thakur and Jahnvi Kapoor are other female leads who will be a part of this prestigious project.
