Telugu360.com, a new entrant to web media, is just over an year old now. In fact, 2016 is our first full calendar year of existence and has been a fabulous journey on many metrics. We are proud of the quality reporting we have done over the last year and kudos to all the team. It wouldn’t have been possible without the fabulous team we have.
Our traffic has increased exponentially every month this year and December has been the highest. Our Global Alexa rank is below 15k now and with the traffic surge in December, we are on pace to reach global rank of 10k — definitely the fastest in Telugu Media.
The sting operation that we did on BARC India ratings is certainly a high point of this year. This has been referenced by a number of national media and as per sources even BARC has used our videos to streamline the operations. This operation was done over three months and we are happy that we made a significant impact. Here is a comment that we got from a news paper editor that made our year “In the 15 years of Telugu web media, all the incumbents were restricted to movie news, gossips etc. This is the first significant story that a web media has done in Telugu. More power to Telugu360″
As we look back at the year, some of achievements worth noting:
- Telugu360 has now become the go-to resource for all the overseas Box Office news and collections. The profit and loss statements that we have been publishing has been very successful. In fact, when we delay this by a week, we are bombarded with emails as to why these PL statements were not published.
- Live reports for all the movies : Telugu360’s live reports are extremely successful, accurate and watched by all the TFI. These reports are widely awaited by all the movie lovers. Telugu360 reviews the movies by 8-9 AM India time, before any social media talk comes out. We are proud that our ratings match with BO performance, better than other portals ( In all honesty, we have our share of misses — Sarrainodu (under rated) , Majnu (overrated etc).
- In-depth political analysis : Most of the incumbent print and web media have defined and well known political affiliations. Telugu360 has reported all the political happenings in Andhra and Telangana without any bias.
