Buddha Venkanna bombards YSR CP with questions

0

YSR CP leader and party chief Jagan’s uncle Vivekananda Reddy’s untimely death and the subsequent developments are creating sensation in Andhra Pradesh. TDP leader Budda Venkanna convened a press meet and bombarded YSRCP with several questions.

It is known news that YSRCP leaders alleged the role of minister Adi Narayana Reddy, Lokesh and TDP in the murder of Vivekananda Reddy. Buddha Venkanna convened press meet and raised several questions. He asked why it was reported as death due to cardiac arrest in the morning. It is to be noted, even Sakshi channel reported it as natural death in the first half of the day. He questioned, who cleaned the blood stains and made up the room. He added, why was there such an attempt to manipulate the scene and facts. He reminded about the differences between Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vivekananda Reddy for MP ticket when YSR was alive.

Buddha Venkanna told that TDP is ready to have this case investigated by CBI or any such national agency. We will have to wait and see how YSRCP responds on these questions.

TDP leaders opt out of race to make way for successors

The younger generation is all set to take up the mantle in Andhra Pradesh politics as ministers and senior leaders of ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) have opted out of electoral race to make way for their political successors.

Chief Minister and TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu is perhaps the only exception as he and his son Nara Lokesh both figure in the list of 126 candidates announced by the party late on Thursday for Assembly elections in April.

Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy, a strong TDP leader in Kurnool district, decided against contesting to pave way for his son K.E. Shyam Babu from Pathikonda constituency, a family stronghold.

Paritala Sunitha, another key minister in Naidu’s cabinet, opted out of the race to get a ticket for her son Paritala Sriram from Rapthadu, considered a bastion of Paritala family in Anantapur district.

In Chittoor district, senior TDP leader and former minister Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy’s son Bojjala Sudheer Reddy will be the party candidate from Srikalahasti. Krishna Reddy was elected from here for five terms.

Gouthu Syam Sunder Sivaji gave up his Palasa constituency in Srikakulam district in favour of his daughter Gouthu Sireesha.

Naidu accepted the request of senior leader Jaleel Khan to field his daughter Shabana Khatoon from Vijayawada West.

Kidari Sravan Kumar, whose father and TDP MLA Kidari Sarveshwara Rao was gunned down by Maoists a few months ago, got TDP ticket from Araku. Sravan was inducted into the cabinet after the killing of his father.

Kimidi Nagarjuna will contest from Cheepurapalle constituency as the political successor of his mother Kimidi Mrunalini, a sitting legislator.

Naidu has also fielded late Central minister K. Yerran Naidu’s daughter Adi Reddy Bhavani from Rajahmundry City. Yerran Naidu’s son K. Rammohan Naidu is a Lok Sabha MP from Srikakulam and is likely to be fielded again. Yerran Naidu’s brother K. Atchem Naidu is a cabinet minister.

The TDP chief has also given tickets to sons of senior leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and former minister Devineni Nehru. Muddukrishnama Naidu died in 2018 while Nehru died in 2017.

The ruling party has kept the names for 49 Assembly constituencies pending. The TDP chief was busy holding consultations with party leaders and aspirants to finalise the names.

The party is also yet to announce candidates for Lok Sabha elections. Polling for the 175-member Assembly and all 25 Lok Sabha seats is scheduled on April 11.

Among the 126 candidates announced, the party has retained 83 MLAs. While 14 MLAs who had crossed over from opposition YSR Congress have been fielded, three have been denied tickets.

The list includes 15 women.

Among 72 candidates from Other Castes (OCs), as many as 32 are kammas, a politically dominant community to which Chandrababu Naidu belongs. There are 30 candidates from backward classes, 18 from scheduled castes, four from scheduled tribes and two Muslims.

TDP hits back at YCP ‘murder politics’

0

TDP Kadapa MP candidate Ch Adinarayana Reddy accused Jaganmohan Reddy of trying to politicise the death of his own uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy. The TDP is countering YCP allegations forcefuly. He took strong objection to YCP MLA Rabindranath Reddy’s allegations blaming the CM, Lokesh, TDP Pulivendula candidate Sathish Reddy and himself.

It had become a routine habit for Jagan to make false allegations against the TDP and create confusion in the public. Adinarayana Reddy said that there are internal differences between Vivekananda Reddy and YS Avinash Reddy over contesting the MP election. For a long time, Vivekananda Reddy faced difficulties with Jagan who was always trying to hurt his contesting chances.

Stating that initial reports suggested death due to heart attack, Adinarayana Reddy said that the YCP leaders changed their line of thinking and began blaming the CM for Vivekananda Reddy death obviously for the sake of sympathy factor.

Adinarayana Reddy demanded an investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to bring out the truth in the death of Vivekananda Reddy. He would write letters to the AP DGP, Kurnool DIG and Kadapa SP for an honest probe.

Suspicions surround YS Vivekananda Reddy’s death?

The Pulivendula police launched a full length investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of YS Vivekananda Reddy. There are many suspicions on the nature and circumstances. A pool of blood was found in the bedroom while his body was found in the bathroom actually.

Based on the complaint given by Viveka’s personal assistant Krishna Reddy, the police began the probe. The PA said when he went into the bathroom, he the body and there were injuries on the front and back of Viveka’s head. They were as if someone made a physical attack on him.

The clues team from Kadapa is also pressed into service. The main question as of now is why there’s blood in the bedroom. Is it possible a patient omits that much blood on suffering from a massive heart attack. Vivekananda Reddy is living alone in Pulivendula residence while his wife and daughter are residing in Hyderabad. They are rushing to Pulivendula. Full details are expected once the family members break their silence.

Jagan postponed first list: Scared of rebels?

0

YSRCP chief YS Jagan postponed the announcement of the candidates for 2019 election. Earlier, YSRCP announced that the first list will be out on March 13th. Many leaders along with their cadres reached Jagan’s residence to know their fate, but Jagan postponed the announcement in the last minute.

Earlier it was rumoured that, Jagan will be announcing the first list with 75 candidates today and that may include a few MP tickets. But today announcement came from YSRCP that , Jagan will be disclosing the first list only on 16th March. It seems most of the parties are waiting for the other party to reveal the candidate first so that they can do any adjustments in their own list if needed.

Moreover Jagan has one more problem that, he has 3-4 aspirants from each of the constituency, and announcing one of those aspirants as the candidate will definitely impact the party as they may either join the other party or contest as Rebel candidate. In worst case, if he announces, a new candidate other than those four candidates working for the party for last few years, all of them may turn rebels. By postponing the announcement of the candidates he is just ensuring that such rebels will not have much time to make their plans for elections.

First list of all the parties expected to be out by this week itself.

TDP finalises MP candidates for Rajahmundry, Tirupati

0

Sitting MP Murali Mohan’s daughter-in-law Maganti Roopa will contest from Rajahmundry MP seat. Her name is finalised after Murali Mohan has expressed his unwillingness to continue in electoral politics any more. TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu has okayed Roopa’s candidature after holding discussions with Murali Mohan and different leaders from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency.

Chandrababu has also finalised former Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi’s candidature from Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency. She will join the TDP along with her husband Panabaka Krishnaiah soon. Her name was first considered for Bapatla segment but it was changed later.

Panabaka Krishnaiah has met with Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli camp office and asked for Sullurupeta assembly ticket for him as well. Sullurupeta falls in Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency. Hailing from Gudur assembly limits, the Panabaka family have got good contacts with local leaders in Sarvepalli, Gudur, Sullurupeta and Venkatagiri segments which fall in Tirupati parliamentary seat.

Jagan changes plan – PVP to contest Vijayawada MP seat

0

YCP President Jaganmohan Reddy is giving special focus to Vijayawada Lok Sabha segment. As it is the never centre of AP politics, Jagan wants to somehow win this seat by putting up a strong candidate. Already, the ticket was promised to Vijaya Electricals Chairman Dasari Jai Ramesh but his name is being dropped in the changed political circumstances. Jagan feels noted industrialist Potluri Vara Prasad (PVP) is a stronger candidate for this seat.

Accordingly, consultations were held and it is already decided to take PVP into the YCP fold in a day or two. It seems PVP is coming into the party only on the condition of contesting from Vijayawada MP seat. In 2014 elections also, PVP was denied the ticket following which he distanced from the YCP later.

Whoever it is, the fight in Vijayawada MP seat will be one between rich industrialist Kamma candidates. If cleared, PVP will confront TDP’s Kesineni Nani which will lead to a keenly contested election between the two. If Vangaveeti Radha joins TDP, it is being considered a cake walk for Kesineni Nani.

Hyderabad Robber enjoying illegally? – Chandrababu on KCR

0

People give credit to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for developing modern Hyderabad and for putting it on the world IT map. Lakhs of employees are working in IT industry alone. The foremost and only source of substantial income for Telangana state is now Hyderabad capital city.
Chandrababu says while he has worked hard to make Hyderabad what it’s now, KCR is enjoying its fruits illegally like a robber. Moreover, the TRS boss is trying to destabilise Andhra Pradesh by using unprincipled persons like Jaganmohan Reddy.

Chandrababu held a teleconference with TDP leaders. He asked them to remain extremely alert as their party has to deal with the YCP which has a criminal record. Only 30 days as are left for the AP election. Naidu asked his party candidates to popularise the TDP slogan – Your Future in Our Hands.

AP Assembly election to be held on April 11

The 2019 General Election will be held in 7 phases and it will be held from April 11 to May 19. March 28 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. Counting will be held on May 23.

First phase will be held on April 11, second phase on April 18, third phase on April 23, fourth phase on April 29, fifth phase on May 6, sixth phase on May 12 and seven phase on May 19.

As expected, the election to all the 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh will be held on April 11 in the first phase itself. The 17 MP seats in Telangana will also go to polls in first phase on April 11. This is in tune with the wishes of the YCP leaders for conducting the elections to twin Telugu states in a single phase. The TDP leaders’ fears have come true in this respect. The ruling party leaders suspected this when YCP leaders like Vijaya Sai Reddy met with the Election Commission officials in Delhi recently.

Who is behind bogus AP voter forms filed from Bihar?

The Andhra Pradesh police are coming across interesting facts during their investigation into fake voter deletion requests scam in the state. The police have unearthed countless cases of bogus voter enrollment forms that are filed online from Bihar, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Some forms are also filed from some places in Uttar Pradesh. Who is behind this systematic attempt to sabotage the electoral process in AP?

The ruling Telugu Desam Party leaders are not ruling out the possibility of a massive sketch by Jagan’s Bihari consultant Prashant Kishor in this ugly aspect. The police are going further into the details of these bogus forms some of which are found in the name of aged persons above 80 years and also those who are dead. The election commission officials have asked for some time to get the internet IDs of the respective bogus voter forms.

The AP government has taken serious view of this issue considering its wider ramifications on the coming 2019 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state. Already, CM Chandrababu Naidu is blaming Jagan for hiring and placing all his party electoral responsibilities on the unprincipled Bihar consultant.

Madison Media to handle BJP’s media campaign for 2019 election

0

The BJP has again appointed marketing guru Sam Balsara-led Madison Media to handle its media buying duties for the 2019 general elections.

Madison will create media planning and buying strategy for the BJP for all mass media including print, television and radio, informed sources said on Friday.

They said the campaign will seek to create awareness about the “tranformation” brought into the society by the Modi government through schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Digital India, Skill India, Make in India and more.

A BJP leader familiar with the development said that the party’s campaign would focus on the achievements of the Modi government.

In 2014, advertising agencies such as Soho Square, Piyush Pandey’s Ogilvy & Mather, Prasoon Joshi’s McCann and Madison World had helped the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to storm to power with the biggest election victory for a single party in 30 years.

Soho Square and O&M had also worked on the BJP’s successful campaigns for the Haryana and Maharashtra polls.

The BJP has stuck to Ogilvy & Mather – which created the successful “Ab ki baar Modi sarkaar” campaign in 2014 – as its creative agency and Prasoon Joshi’s McCann to prepare a theme song with patriotic fervour for the party.

Joshi penned the BJP’s theme song for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls titled “Main desh nahi mitne dunga”, which was sung by Sukhwinder Singh.

Transfer DGP during elections – AP BJP asks ECI

0

Andhra Pradesh BJP unit has taken up an all-out fight with DGP RP Thakur, who is in the thick of political controversies ahead of elections. BJP delegation led by AP unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana met with officials of Election Commission of India in Delhi. They explained the ground level issues on the police bias in favour of the TDP. They demanded that AP DGP be transferred from his present post at the time of elections.

BJP spokesman GVL Narasimha Rao has also accused the AP police of acting like the Telugu Desam Party activists rather than the public servants or government employees. Kanna Lakshminarayana told the Election Commission that the TDP government is misusing the official machinery and committing data thefts. The names of voters belonging to non-TDP parties are being deleted from the lists by filing fake form-7 applications, he said.

Kanna said the AP officials are not bothering to take any action though many complaints were made and they were favouring the TDP in all issues. YCP leaders have also complained that the TDP is getting its voters’ names illegally deleted from the lists. Meanwhile, the TDP says it is a larger conspiracy by Jagan, KCR and PM Modi.

Prof K Nageshwar : What this data war all about

0

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are locked in an intense data war with Hyderabad police conducting raids on an IT company, IT Grids offering services to TDP. Telangana state police and ruling TRS claims that this IT company which maintains TDP app Seva Mitra has access to sensitive information pertaining to people of Andhra Pradesh illegally obtained from Andhra Pradesh government sources, a charge chief minister Chandrababu Naidu vociferously refutes. Instead, TDP accuses that the TRS government in Telangana is hand in glove with YSR congress. The TDP accuses that Telangana government conducted these raids to steal TDP data and hand it over to YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The YSR congress, on the other hand dismisses TDP’s allegation calling it an attempt to cover up the data theft by Andhra Pradesh government.

Thus the battle over data is simultaneously fought both on government and political levels. The things turn murkier with the police of two state governments accusing each other. The TDP calls this episode a nexus between Modi, KCR and Jagan to prevent Chandrababu Naidu from coming to power.

The ongoing controversy cannot be seen in isolation. Angered over Chandrababu Naidu playing an active role during Telangana election campaign, the TRS supremo said that he would give a ‘return gift’ to TDP chief. Since then the TRS has been evincing keen interest in Andhra Pradesh politics. In the guise of federal front the TRS working president reached out to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The bonhomie between TRS and YSR Congress is no longer an allegation though Modi’s Kar seva in this need to be established. Given this muddy political manoeuvres clouding the whole episode, the neutrality of Telangana police investigations will not be accepted by the accused.

It is difficult to establish who is right in this data war unless one has access to material under investigation.

In case if the TDP claims are true, Telangana government will be caught on the wrong foot for accessing TDP data from an IT company whether or not it shares it with YSR Congress.

But, Telangana police asserts that it has enough evidence to prove that the said IT Company handling TDP account has access to data pertaining to people of Andhra Pradesh which should have been an official preserve. Any such leakage of peoples data would give undue advantage to the ruling party in the age of big data playing a key role in electioneering.

The TDP will not in any way believe in the charges made by Telangana police though it cannot question latter’s right to investigate as the alleged crime happened in its jurisdiction. The demand of the TDP to allow Andhra police into the investigation is fallacious as its political masters are accused in the case.

Given the grave character of charges and counter charges, an independent court monitored probe can only establish the veracity of the claims and counter claims. Meanwhile, the data war episode will once again reinforce the necessity of a robust data protection regime.

Centre, Telangana behaving like ‘economic terrorists’: Andhra CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday accused the Centre and the Telangana governments of behaving like “economic terrorists”.

He said both governments were targeting the opponents, including those from the corporate sector, by threatening them or by fabricating false cases against them.

Addressing a news conference here, he said both the Narendra Modi-led government and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government were creating an atmosphere of fear by targeting the opponents through raids or by causing mental agony to them.

Naidu also came down heavily on the Centre for threatening to file cases against “The Hindu” and N. Ram, Chairman of the publishing group, under the Official Secrets Act. He termed this as a serious threat to freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by the Constitution.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief referred to the raid conducted by the Telangana Police on an information technology firm providing services to the party. He alleged that the TRS government took away the data of his party and gave it to the YSR Congress to help it in the coming elections.

Naidu said 160 people who were working with the company ran away from Hyderabad as the TRS government created fear through the raid.

“They also filed a false case against us that government data was stolen. In what way are you concerned with this? Do you have so much love for Andhra Pradesh,” he asked.

The Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh would take all steps, including legal recourse, to protect its sovereign rights.

He alleged that the TRS, BJP and YSR Congress had colluded to create chaos in Andhra Pradesh which was on the path of development and prosperity thanks to the efforts of his government during the last five years. He also claimed that they were trying to get the names of eligible voters deleted from the electoral rolls.

Stating that the Central and the Telangana governments forced many opponents, including some industrialists, to surrender before them, he said there was no question of compromising with them.

“They are threatening me of using the CBI, the ED and other agencies, but they can’t do anything. I have done nothing wrong in my 40-year-long political career and I will continue to fight,” Naidu said.

65 lakh party workers, 5 lakh Seva Mitras in TDP fold: Naidu

0

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has termed the data theft is unethical as our data comprising details of party cadres numbering over 65 lakh and more than five lakh Seva Mitras, while cautioning YSRCP that YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s mafia can’t be successful in AP.

Addressing TDP leaders via video conference from Amaravati Secretariat on Thursday, Naidu said that “the data was hacked and handed over to political opponents. This is totally unethical and highlights the fact that how moral values are degrading in politics. Same practice was implemented in Telangana too as lakhs of voters were deleted in the state before Assembly elections held in December 2018.”

YSRCP is just following the footsteps of TRS, said Naidu. “Whatever TRS implemented in Telangana, YSRCP is just following the suit. YSRCP leaders are attacking TDP cadres in several districts in Andhra Pradesh. I call upon entire TDP cadres and senior leaders to work united leaving aside all the egos. TDP is party that honours and practises moral values, so ultimately we’ll win,” remarked Naidu.

Naidu has further reiterated that malpractices of YS Jaganmohan Reddy wouldn’t deliver goods for that party. “Voters have to decide who should come to power. What all we have promised during the election campaign in 2014, we have delivered them. We have already announced several welfare schemes and trying to enhance living standards for the poor,” added Naidu.

Explaining about YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s activities, Naidu said that earlier it was fake share trading now he’s into bogus votes exercise, while alerting party cadres about illegal and malpractice strategies of YSRCP.

Balakrishna to contest again from Hindupur

0

Hyderabad: Telugu cine hero and Hindupur sitting MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna will again contest from his home constituency. Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has finalised nine candidates for Assembly constituencies out of 14 MLA seats in Anantapur, while decision on five constituencies is put on hold. Naidu has gave a green signal to an appeal made by JC Diwakar Reddy to field his son Pawankumar Reddy in Anantapur Lok Sabha constituency. Tadipatri MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy’s request has also been approved by Naidu as he okayed Assembly ticket to his son Asmith Reddy from same constituency.

TDP Ministers — Paritala Sunita and Kaluva Srinivasulu– have retained tickets for Rapthadu and Rayadurgam constituencies respectively.

The TDP chief has accommodated sitting MLAs as many as possible and considered the feedback and opinions of the sittings. District in-charge Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao and minister Jawahar reviewed the Assembly constituency-wise situation. Since TDP MLA Balakrishna is on Hindupur tour, the review meeting didn’t discuss on this. Sitting MLAs have unanimously been approved for the next election. However, remaining seven constituencies, party cadres and local leaders raised voice against few candidates.

SR Constructions chief Amilineni Surendra babu has requested Naidu to consider his name for Puttaparti Assembly constituency. Madhusudhan Gupta, former MLA from Gunthakal, has joined TDP in the presence of Naidu.

Special category – failure of Chandrababu or Jagan?

0

The special category status is a subject that has done no good but a lot of harm to Andhra Pradesh. The national parties know full well that it’s not that easy to confer status on any state as many other states will start demanding the same. While this is a promise to be fulfilled by the national parties, the YCP and TDP leaders are blaming each other in AP.

The big question being asked now is whether the AP people will forgive Chandrababu on the special status issue. Jaganmohan Reddy terms it as a total failure of the TDP and nobody else. The BJP leaders are also cleverly asking why Chandrababu is not able to bring status despite his lot of political experience.

Interestingly, the TDP leaders are putting the blame on Jagan for supporting the BJP which has not fulfilled the status promise. It’s PM Modi who promised special status at his Tirupati public meeting prior to 2014 election. This is being highlighted as the deliberate indifference of Modi to the AP status cause. Jagan has a secret understanding with Modi and Amit Shah but he is not able to get assurance from them on the status. Rahul Gandhi promised to put his first signature on AP status file. Many promises are being made again around special status. Nobody knows whether the status issue still has hope.

CBN’s new strategy for Bapatla to resolve Tatikonda Assembly seat tangle

0

Hyderabad: AP chief minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu is in discussions with party leaders Sujana Chowdhary and Malyadri to resolve Tatikonda issue and field potential candidate for Bapatla Lok Sabha constituency.

Naidu wants Bapatla MP Sriram Malyadri to contest in Assembly elections and exploring several names for the MP seat. This assumes importance in the process of resolving issue of choosing candidate for Tatikonda Assembly in Guntur district. Naidu held discussion with former union minister Sujana Chowdhary and Bapatla MP Malyadri and has reportedly arrived to a conclusion, according to sources.

Naidu is giving utmost priority to ease out dissidence within the party over seat allocation for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies.

Tatikonda sitting MLA Sravan Kumar is facing ire of the party cadre and senior leaders. Several leaders from Tatikonda constituency had already reported to Naidu against Sravan Kumar. Naidu seems to have favoured the idea of fielding another candidate for Tatikonda SC reserved constituency and give another position to the sitting MLA, added the sources.

Bapatla MP Sriram Malyadri is non-controversial person so Naidu wants him to contest from Tatikonda. Sujana Chowdhary is a god father of Malyadri. That’s why Naidu first approached Chowdhary over the issue, said a senior TDP leader. However, Chowdhary has opined that Malyadri is an ideal candidate for MP only.

Meanwhile, Naidu is exploring several names for Bapatla Lok Sabha constituency. Former Collector Devanand name is also making rounds among the probable candidates.

YCP IT gang targets Yamini Sadineni – Social media abuses

0

The IT teams of YCP are known for their superior skills in targetting and defaming TDP leaders. They are making social media platforms to the maximum possible extent for this. Sometime ago, they poured their malice and hatred over Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh. Now they are not leaving TDP women leaders as well. TDP spokesperson Yamini Sadineni is now under heavy social media attack from YCP IT gangs.

Not just that, some unknown elements are even making threatening and malicious phone calls to Yamini. Her morphed photos are posted on the social networking sites. Not only that, they are using obscene and indecent language to demoralise and upset Yamini. As a counter measure, the TDP IT wing has looked into this aspect and found out specific names of persons responsible for this social media war against their party leaders.

The TDP has filed complaint with the Guntur police who have registered cases against the accused persons. Yamini has been very active in TV debates and TDP’s industry related meetings for quite sometime. TDP leaders say the YCP is changing its tactics ahead of elections to crush the image of TDP leaders through misuse of social media.

Lokesh wants to contest from Bheemli segment?

0

Minister Nara Lokesh, son of CM Chandrababu Naidu, is busy with selecting a safe assembly constituency to contest in the coming election. One of the possible segments is Bheemli which is presently represented by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. This has become a matter of intense political speculation these days. Srinivasa Rao has already met Chandrababu Naidu and informed him about his interest to contest again from Bheemli.

Located in the outskirts of Visakhapatnam metropolitan city, Bheemli is considered a stronghold of the TDP now. Ganta Srinivasa Rao has told his followers there if Lokesh wants to contest from Bheemli, there are chances he will contest from Visakhapatnam North segment. But there are also other segments being considered for the candidature of Lokesh. They are Penamaluru in Krishna district and Hindupur in Anantapur district.

All the TDP ticket aspirants are ready to step back for the sake of selecting a safe seat for Lokesh. Some leaders are evening asking him to come to their district. Chandrababu Naidu is very cautious about selecting the seat for Lokesh as it is the first time he is going to contest a direct election for the Assembly seat.
