Mahesh Babu congratulates Bigg Boss 2 winner Kaushal

Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu has congratulated Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 winner Kaushal. Mahesh took it on his official Twitter handle and added that he is extremely happy for Kaushal’s success and asked him to enjoy his victory.

The other day speaking in a news channel’s interview, Kaushal had thanked Mahesh and shared his association. “I’m here right now because of Mahesh Babu. During the making of ‘Rajakumarudu’ Mahesh had backed me in establishing a modeling agency and I can never forget his unconditional support,” said the Bigg Boss Telugu 2 winner.

Further Kaushal said, if that would not have happened, he would have returned to his hometown Vizag and doing some odd job.

Kaushal also made his debut with Mahesh Babu’s first film ‘Rajakumarudu’ in the year 1999, in a supporting role. Later he featured in many films.

We have seen in previous article the situations when people thought NTR could have done better job than Nani. At the same time, Nani, who has excellent timing, handled the show very carefully. Despite not having NTR like stardom, he made the weekend episodes huge success, thanks to his natural anchoring.

Instances when Nani did better job than NTR:

There were many instances when Nani did great job as host and did better job than NTR.

Exemplary sense of humor:

Of course, he fumbled a bit while handling tough situations. But when it comes to handling happy situations or celebrations, Nani simply rocks and did much better job than NTR. His great sense of humor enthralled audience (https://www.telugu360.com/bigg-boss-tidbits-nani-showing-his-humor-and-imitation-skills/) Starting from first episode, his comic timing, his imitation skills and friendly nature impressed audience. Of course NTR also showed his sense of humor at times, but Nani’s boy next door image and family image worked big time here and when it comes to entertaining tasks, Nani did much better job than NTR.

Improvisation of Bigg Boss hosting and setting new benchmark:

Nani improvised the hosting of Bigg boss show a lot. The way he created parables and interpreted them with housemates was very much applauded. Even season 1 host NTR praised showers on Nani for these improvisations. In fact, Nani set a new benchmark for future Bigg boss hosts. The way he improvised “Naa TV (My TV)” in season-1 as “Naa nee TV (My and your TV)” that sounds like “Nani TV” etc all showed his skills. The impromptu replies he gave to the housemates also showed his presence of mind. Actually BB hosting really requires some inherent talent and one cannot manage it with scripted dialogue. While handling such impromptu situations, Nani was much better. Probably his experience as RJ and host ( for some events) might have helped him. Definitely he proved once again, he is one the very few heroes in Telugu who can handle these kind of shows.

Handling the show for 16 weeks compared to 10 weeks and sustaining momentum.

When season-1 started, they kept it crisp and concise, for several reasons and it was for 10 weeks only. Whereas Bigg boss season 2 is much bigger in every aspect. It had 16 housemates plus two wild card entries. That is total of 18 contestants. The show ran for 16 weeks. Handling the show for these many weeks and sustaining momentum is humongous task and Nani handled this humongous task with such an ease. There might be criticism on Nani by the fans of housemates whenever Nani bashed them, but there was never a single remark on Nani regarding his hosting skills and Nani’s weekend episodes were very much enjoyable. His natural performance was liked by all. The only complaint he had – i.e. being biased towards certain contestants, is also not completely true. In fact, in the initial episodes of season-1, some people commented NTR’s anchoring as artificial. Of course NTR was quick enough to rectify such things. But as far as hosting skills is compared, Nani did better job than NTR.

Is stardom is required to handle Bigg Boss show? Could BB2 have become Bigger hit if NTR had hosted?

When some people troll hosts and housemates on social media platforms, it looked like had a bigger star like NTR hosted, things would have been different. But the fact is, it is not about stardom. Showing some guts during hosting and taking some strong decisions is the key. But at the same time, we can’t conclude – if Bigg boss 2 would have become bigger hit had NTR hosted it. Kamal Hassan got extremely good applause for Bigg Boss Tamil season-1, but during season-2 he was criticized a lot. As fate of each film is different depending on story, the fate of each Bigg boss season is also different depending on the housemates of that season and “narrative” created by Bigg boss.

Finally,

Both NTR and Nani did great job as hosts. While Nani’s strength lies in his exemplary hosting skills and sense of humor, NTR’s strength lies in handling the entire show in a dignified manner. Obviously, Bigg boss 2 became much bigger hit than Bigg boss 1 and season-3 may become bigger hit than season 2 also. It depends on many factors like host, housemates, “narrative theme” created by Bigg boss etc. But as far as the hosting this show is considered, like NTR, Nani too set a new benchmark for the future hosts. More than that, this natural star made a strong impression on audience as Bigg Boss host with his performance that is as natural as perfect.

Bigg Boss hosts: NTR vs Nani (Part-1)

Bigg Boss season 2 ended last night and almost entire Telugu audience glued to the TV sets to watch the Finale. The show has become much bigger hit than Bigg Boss season 1. There has been discussion that how did Nani do as host when compared to NTR. Most of the people answer to this question, saying, both did very well and both have different styles and you cannot compare them with each other.

But let’s see some analysis on their hosting of Bigg Boss. This is just to check how both of them did and NOT to prove who is better than the other.

One housemate said NTR is better and the other housemate said Nani is better:

Obviously all Bigg Boss contestants of season 1 and season 2, whoever answered this question on TV interviews gave diplomatic answers saying both are good. But there are two exceptions for this.

Bigg Boss season 2 contestant Sanjana compared Nani with china phone and NTR with iphone to answer this question. She said NTR did much better job than Nani as host. On the other hand Big Boss season 1 contestant, Jyothi in other interview told Nani did better than NTR and praised him for his hosting skills. Incidentally both of them got evicted in the first week of the season 2 and season 1 respectively. Probably the housemates who got evicted in first week, seem to be believing that Big Boss team or the host did injustice to them and that is reflecting in their answers . So it is more like their personal opinion rather than a rational answer for this question.

But to be frank, even though both the hosts did exceptionally good job, there are definitely some instances when people thought NTR could have done a better job than Nani at some places and vice versa too.

Both Nani and NTR started at a disadvantageous position

Nani started the show at a very disadvantageous position. Just before Nani starting the show, Sri Reddy made some scathing comments on Nani and unfortunately most of the major news channels gave wide publicity for those comments. Already Nani was in pressure to prove himself as NTR did a good job in season 1.

Not comparable to above, but NTR also started at a disadvantageous position as the show was first of its kind for Telugu audience and there were apprehensions about how the show will be received. Moreover, the host will be there only for two days but housemates have to run the show during the weekdays. If they do something seriously wrong, star hero like NTR has to face the blame.

But despite starting at disadvantageous positions, both the hosts were successful in making the show huge hit.

After showing journey of Deepthi , Samrat and Tanish in Bigg Boss house, today’s episode continued with journey of Geetha Madhuri and Kaushal in the house.

Bigg Boss appreciated Geetha Madhuri for displaying her childlike nature and her naughtiness. Bigg Boss told he was surprised to see a celebrity like her becoming a child in the house. Bigg Boss also appreciated her for taking a stand when the situation needed. Bigg Boss also revealed that, he himself danced, when she mesmerized every one with the songs. Later , Bigg Boss showed the journey of Kaushal in the house. Kaushal became very emotional when he saw his family members in the video of Bigg Boss season. Bigg Boss appreciated his focus and hard work in Bigg Boss house and his determination to win the game.

Later, it was the reunion of all the contestants of Bigg Boss 2 season. Except Nutan Naidu, everybody visited the house. As usual Tejaswi dominated the house with her hyper active nature. Bigg Boss also evoked some laughs by teasing Ganesh. All the finalists were curious to know from their friends, who joined the house today , about their prospects in the finals but most of them did not reveal anything except Tejaswi who was seen indirectly criticizing Kaushal Army for character assassination they were doing on all other housemates on social media platforms.

All the housemates spent quality time in the house. Bigg Boss took them down the memory lane by reminding their beautiful moments in the house.

As the second episode of the highly popular Telugu reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ draws to a close after nearly four months, audience are busy guessing the potential winner out of the five final contestants. Kaushal, Geetha Madhuri, Samrat, Tanish and Deepthi are vying hard to grab the prestigious title.

There has been a lot of suspense on who will be the chief guest of the finale episode which will this weekend. Speculations are rife that NTR, who hosted the first season of Big Boss, will attend the event as special guest. However, it turned out to be just a rumour.

Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that star hero Victory Venkatesh will grace the Sunday show as chief guest. Sources revealed that Venky immediately said yes to the request of MAA TV management to attend the final episode. He will announce the winner of this season. Venky is currently busy shooting for multiple projects. His presence will definitely garner more views for the already smash hit Big Boss program.

On the other, there is a buzz that Vijay Devarakonda is likely to grace the grand finale of Big Boss Tamil version.

Strength:
Undoubtedly his strength is Kaushal Army. After Kireeti the tried to squeeze a lemon in his eyes, many people sympathized with Kaushal and started supporting him. Some of them even became his strong fans. Later , after Tejaswi eviction, Bigg Boss announced a contest to bring one of the housemates into the house back. Many people thought it is an attempt by Bigg Boss to bring Tejaswi back into the house and that made audience consolidate towards Kaushal again. These two incidents helped Kaushal big time. even though some people call he has dedicated PR teams that are working perfectly, the fact is that he has lot of support in social media and undoubtedly he is enjoying much bigger fan following than all other contestants.

Weakness:
Even though many people got sympathized with Kaushal and became his fans, there are people who don’t like him for his behaviour. He is like a person either strongly loved by people or strongly hated by people but can’t be ignored. The people who love him love to the core and the people who hate him hate to the core. He is always busy with passing negative remarks about his fellow housemates. The way he always says that he is not here to form any relations but his sole aim is to win the title also doesn’t go well with some audience. Even though it is a game and the contestants are there to win the game, some audience think that it is an experience and the behavior in the house during the game will be on record for entire life. Venting lot of negativity for the sake of winning the title may not go well with some audience. Also he shows jealousy for even small things – like he pointed out playing Roll Rida’s songs in the house may give him boost up.

Opportunity:
Definitely he has very good opportunity to win the title. He has huge fan base that was earned with in a span of 100 days. The Kaushal Army took it very personal to see him as title winner and they are his main strength. None in season 1, including the title winner got the craze Kaushal has. His fans are working very hard to make him a winner. In fact many heroes from star families also couldn’t get the craze he earned in the span of 100 days. Sustaining it in long run is a different matter, though. At this moment, it looks, he is the most probable winner and even in the worst case, he may end up as runner up.

Threats:
The same Kaushal army which is his strength is also his weakness. The Kaushal Army , that trolls all other housemates and create memes on all other housemates, seem to be not able to take a single negative remark on him even if it is genuine. Kaushal Army was seen supporting his negative remarks of “wash my as*” as well as his “dogs” comments on other housemates. This made general audience rethink about voting for Kaushal. The way Kaushal Army abusing women housemates through their trolls also didn’t go well with general audience, but they are not speaking up in social media platforms for the fear of getting circled with abusive comments by the so-called Kaushal Army. This may lead to silent voting for other house made by these general audience. Already, these audience started voting for ‘single’ candidate with sole purpose of defeating Kaushal and this is biggest threat for him.

As of now Kaushal has very good chance of winning the title. But in case if he doesn’t get the title , the blame will go to Kaushal Army as it was the one who provoked other general audience to go for silent voting.

Strength:

Samrat biggest strength is his likability. Out of the 5 contestants appearing for finals, he is the one most liked by all other housemates. In fact during race to finale task, except Kaushal, all other housemates supported him to reach the finals. His competitor roll Rida also supported Samrat going to finals after he couldn’t save his eggs. In the entire season of 16 weeks, he came into nominations only twice. That shows how much he is liked by the housemates. Even in those two nominations also, he self-nominated once to save Kaushal during hand cuff task. His childlike behavior and the way he entertained audience with his mimicry and imitation is liked by audience a lot.

He also showed his strength during physical tasks as whoever tried to win over him in physical tasks utterly failed. The episode in which he helped Roll Rida reach finals by confronting Kaushal shows his physical strength.

Weakness:

Even though he is physically very strong, it seems he is not that strong mentally. He becomes very emotional easily. Moreover, his bonding with Tejaswi did not gel well with audience. The entire chemistry looked a bit odd to happen in Bigg Boss house. Also after reaching finale, he told he is content with reaching finale and he doesn’t mind even if he doesn’t win the title. This also shows people he doesn’t have that passion to win the title.

Opportunities:

Compared to other finalists he doesn’t have more opportunity to win the title. But, it is true that many people like his child like mentality. Many people also know about his court cases (regarding his marriage) from news media. All the audience now came to know about his soft nature and people have a benefit of doubt that he might not be guilty in those cases. Even Samrat’s mother also told the same when she was in the house that – now people of Telugu States know about his true character and how good he is.

Threats:

He couldn’t leave a strong impression on the audience to vote for him. Even though people like his soft nature and his Good Samaritan mind set, that may not be sufficient for them to decide to vote for him as title winner.

As of now (by seeing social media trends), Samrat is not very strong and it looks he may not be in top3. We will have to wait and see how Samrat fares in the finals.

Strengths:

Undoubtedly his strength is the value he gives for relationships. The way he helped Samrat reach the finale, shows how far he can go to help a friend. In one of the tasks he sacrificed his game for Deepthi Sunaina. Even though many people criticized Tanish for doing so, he later clarified that – for him relationships are more important than winning. The way he campaigned for himself during last Sunday also struck chords with people. He also revealed, since his childhood, he always wanted to see his parents happy than winning something for himself.

His another strength is, he never showed any sort of jealousy in the house. When Samrat reached finals and he missed that chance by narrow margin, he actually celebrated it without showing an iota of jealousy for missing the chance. His physical strength also surprised many. Kaushal who is actually seen most of the time in gym couldn’t win over him during physical task of Race to finale.

Weakness:

Sometimes he shows his short temper on the housemates, especially on Kaushal. When Kaushal called the housemates as dogs, he lost his control and spoke harshly on him. That was projected as arrogance to the audience. His another weakness is taking the game so easy. That’s why many people don’t find him as a very serious Contender.

Opportunities:

Like all other finalists, he also has good possibility of winning the title. People know him as child artist. His comedy timing also liked by the audience. The way he created funny moments in the house (for example Abba em Cheppaaru Shyamala Garu) are well remembered by the audience. Among the current five finalist he was the one who entertained the audience the most.

Threats:

The way he expressed himself in the house during the confrontations did not gel well with audience. During a task in which he was competing with Nutan Naidu and roll rida for captaincy, he even went on to blame Bigboss himself. When people thought his game is at its best once, he himself spoilt it by sleeping in store room. These kind of incidents conveyed negative image to audience.

Overall, Tanish is definitely strong Contender. Many of the housemates who left the house told Tanish’s name as one of the top 3 contestants of Bigg Boss season 2. The way he spoke during campaigning received lot of applause from general audience.

We will have to wait and see whether he will win the title or not.

Today Bigg Boss gave a task to all the housemates to tell, out of the remaining housemates whom do they want in finale and whom they don’t want in Finale along with them. They also have to tell the reasons for the same.

Tanish told he wants to have Samrat along with him on the stage of finale as he is his best buddy. He told he doesn’t want Kaushal along with him and explained the reasons. Tanish reminded Kaushal about his campaigning yesterday and told while every housemate spoke positively, he was the only one to speak negatively about other housemates.

Deepti told she wants to see Geeta along with her on the stage of finale. She said , Geeta is like her alter ego. She also told she doesn’t want to see Kaushal on the stage of finale along with her. She explained that even though housemates never cornered Kaushal, he always says housemates have cornered him and by saying so he is distancing himself from the housemates.

Geeta also reciprocated to Deepti saying, she wants Deepti to be her mate in the finale. She also told, she doesn’t want to have Kaushal in the finale along with her. She told, she believes winning the hearts of the housemates and people is also as important as winning the game and in that aspect Kaushal’s path is completely different to her path.

Kaushal told, he wants to have Geeta along with him in the finale as she has some fan following outside the house and also she got saved from evictions several times by the audience which shows she is a strong contestant. He told , he doesn’t want Samrat along with him in the finale as he was there in the nominations only for two times and also he came to finale because of a task rather than by the vote of audience.

Samrat replied strongly to Kaushal. He told it is true that he was there in the nominations only for two times , but even out of those two times, he reminded Kaushal, he self-nominated once to save none other than Kaushal during handcuff task. Other than that, he was in nominations only once in the entire season that indicates how much housemates loved him. He also told he wants Tanish along with him in the finale.

Later, Sudheer Babu joined the house as part of promotions of his latest movie. He told housemates that they have become family members of all the houses of Telugu States. He told , his character in movie is similar to the Bigg Boss as he plays a very strict manager role in the movie. Both Sudheer Babu and heroine dance along with housemates of Bigg Boss.

Bigg Boss 2 getting bigger than Big Boss 1?

Franchises and sequels always have advantage of faring better than the originals. They only have to live up to the expectations to surpass the ratings or revenues of the original. For example the collections of Bahubali 2 are for more than the collections of Bahubali 1 even though the ratings of both the movies are almost same.

Bigg Boss -1 is huge success but lagged behind Telugu serials and Rana’s show:

Thanks to NTR screen presence, Bigg Boss 1 was a huge success. As it was NTR’s first appearance on small screen, people were curious to see how he will do as host of the show. Compared to Big Boss 2, Bigg Boss 1 has less drama, less confrontations on weekdays and people watched it mostly for weekend episodes of NTR. Reality shows in Telugu could never beat Telugu serials and Bigg Boss 1 never found in top 5 programs of the week, as all the time it is Telugu serials that occupied this top 5 slots, as per the list released by BARC. Even among non-serial programs also, Rana’s number one Yaari program with Balakrishna surpassed NTR weekend episode of Bigg Boss1’s TRP. Rana’s show managed to get a 10.3 rating for its 9th episode while Jr NTR’s Big Boss managed a 6.23 rating. Interestingly, both the shows were aired during the same time. Big Boss 2 also could not beat top 5 Telugu serials but at least among non-serial programs, it occupies the top slot.

Nutan and Shyamala reentry got 11.7 crore votes Vs Bigg Boss 1 Finale’s 11.95 crore votes:

The initial episodes of Bigg Boss 1 got criticism that the show is becoming dull and not entertaining audience especially on weekdays. But during the final weeks, people got curious to see who will be the title winner and got huge TRPs. Final episode of Bigg Boss 1 got 11.95 crore votes, as announced by NTR. Nani announced that during the re-entry of Shyamala and Nutan Naidu, almost 11.7 crore votes have been polled. Even though 11.7 crore is less than 11.95 crore votes, fetching such huge voting for reentry itself shows how big is Big Boss 2 getting compared to Big Boss 1. It is obvious that votes that will be polled for grand finale of Bigg Boss 2 will be definitely much higher than Big Boss 1.

Volume of memes, trolls, videos and articles created for Bigg Boss 2 is way higher than Bigg Boss 1:

Ever since Bigg Boss 2 started, people have been responding on the content aired last night through memes, trolls , YouTube videos and blogs. The volume of this content is way higher that was created during Big Boss 1. In fact some YouTube channels started recently are completely surviving on Bigg Boss 2 videos. This clearly shows the power of franchises and sequels and clearly indicates response to Big Boss 2 is higher than Bigg Boss 1.

Leakage of eviction info shows how curious people are:

One negative comment that Big Boss 2 faced is – information leaking about who will be evicted this weekend. One of the main reasons for this is, Bigg Boss 2 is happening in Hyderabad while Big Boss 1 happened in Pune. So, some of the audience who attended the show are revealing through their social media accounts about who got evicted. But this information is even published by leading newspapers through their online portals and within few minutes of publishing that news is going viral in social media. This really shows how curious are people to know who will be evicted this weekend.

All of this clearly shows Bigg Boss 2 is really getting bigger and bigger than Big Boss 1. While Bigg boss-1 was aired only for 70 days, Bigg boss 2 is running for more than 100 days already and sustaining momentum for these many days is really a big feat. Vijay Devarakonda , who is on cloud nine after stupendous success of Geetha Govindam, joined the Bigg boss house today along with his director Parasuram. As long as Vijay was in the house, the show was a roller coaster ride with lots of fun. Both Nani and Vijay played an interesting task with Deepthi Sunaina that was highly entertaining.

Nani told Vijay that Deepthi Sunaina is a great fan of him. So they called her into confession room and gave her a secret task. They gave her a blue-tooth device and she was in call with Nani and Vijay continuously and followed their instructions which are mostly funny tasks. Later, they played Geeta Govindam song and all housemates danced for the song. Vijay D highly appreciated Ganesh’s performance in the dance.

Both Nani and Vijay worked together in Yevade Subramanyam earlier. Both have very great timing and their sense of humor made the show highly enjoyable. Finally, as expected, Deepthi Sunaina got evicted from the house. As usual, evicted candidate has to throw Big bomb on one of the housemates. Sunaina thrown big bomb on Tanish and so he has to jump into swimming pool every day morning when song starts.

Bigg boss tidbits: Both the re-entered housemates nominated for eviction this week

Bigg Boss show usually have nomination process on Monday. Some of the housemates will be nominated for eviction from the house on Monday and audience can vote for their favorite contestant so that they can continue in the house of Bigg Boss and whoever gets less votes will be out of the house. This week totally 6 members nominated for eviction- Pooja Ramachandran, Geetha Madhuri, Roll Rida, Deepthi Sunaina, Shyamala and Nutan Naidu.

Tanish, who is captain of the house and Amit ,who got protection cover for two weeks from Kamal Hassan earlier , were exempted from the nomination process this week. Rest of the housemates were asked by Big Boss to select one person each from other housemates and then they will all form pairs. From each pair, one person will be nominated and the other will be saved from nomination. housemates can self nominate themselves or justify why they want to continue in the house. Later Tanish and Amit can take decision on whom to nominate.

Nutan Naidu nominated himself and Deepti nallamothu was saved. Roll Rida also nominated himself to save Ganesh because earlier Ganesh saved him from nomination. Geetha Madhuri, Deepthi Sunaina and Pooja were nominated after debates and discussions among Amit, Tanish and other saved candidates.

Finally, Bigg Boss gave a twist and asked Tanish, who is captain of the house, to nominate one more person from those who already got saved from nomination. Samrat ,Kaushal, Shyamala, Deepthi and Ganesh were already saved from nomination and captain has to choose one from these. Tanish chose Shyamala for nomination and he gave the reason for his decision. He told, rest of all candidates have been in the house for more than 60 days whereas Shyamala recently re-entered. So, instead of nominated someone who has been taking all the stress for last 60 days , he wanted to choose someone who already had some sort of advantage. Shyamala had that advantage because even though she was evicted earlier, she reentered the house recently.

So , with this twist, along with others, both the re-entered candidates – Nutan Naidu and Shyamala joined the list of candidates nominated for eviction.

Social media was correct again. Before the Sunday episode itself, social media is agog with rumors on Babu Gogineni evicting the house this week. Rumors became true again and Babu is evicted from the house today. In fact it seems Babu was already prepared mentally to leave the house today. As soon as Nani announced his eviction and asked to pack up the luggage, he told he had already packed the luggage. Many opine that Babu is looking disinterested since last few days.

After Nani announcing his eviction, Babu Gogineni told, it’s unique opportunity for him as he got a chance to interact with people of different ages closely in this house. He reminded that youngest housemate is 30 years younger than him and next eldest housemate also 12 years younger than him. Nani gave him an opportunity that, before leaving the house, he can give message to two people. He told, he is fan of Samrat as he provided the leadership to the house when there was no leadership in the house. Babu reminded that, when he was captain he used to jump into water whenever someone spoke in English by mistake and he thanked Samrat for that. He also spoke to Deepthi Sunaina and told, he developed lot of affection for her. He added, he is a fan of everyone in the house including the ones who fought with him because it is not easy to fight with him. Housemates told , they will miss his knowledge and wisdom.

Before leaving the house, he has thrown big bomb on Roll Rida. As per this bomb, Roll Rida has to take care of bathroom maintenance through out this week.

Bigg boss is giving different tasks in last couple of days to the housemates. But basic theme is same – “Men vs Women”. Bigg boss housemates are divided into 2 teams – one team with all men and another with all men. Now there will be tasks between these two teams and who ever play better will have chances of becoming captain of the house.

Women got a task today to change flat tyre of the car within 15 minutes. Usually, such tasks are considered “men’s tasks” in general. But women proved their mettle in this task (to be specific, Pooja proved her mettle). When Kaushal was about to read instructions on how to change flat tyre, Pooja told, it’s not necessary and she knows it well. 3 women- Pooja, Deepthi and Syamala took up the task and were successful in changing the flat tyre within stipulated time.

Men got another interesting task today. Usually, men are considered cold, unfeeling people and rarely move to tears. Bigg boss task to men was to cry and shed tears. 4 men – Kaushal, Samrat, Ganesh and Roll Rida participated in the task and all of them shed tears. Later, Kaushal told he recalled his mother’s funeral and so he got tears. Roll Rida recalled one of his album that made him emotional. Ganesh recalled his unemployed days during which he toiled to get a job that gives 8,000 salary per month. Samrat revealed his repenting for taking his parents for granted and not caring for him. He recollected the days when he was not with his father when he got brain-stroke. He was unable to control his tears even after completing the task.

Bigg Boss show is running successfully with very good TRPs. Big Boss show always changed the lives of contestants. Some people got huge fame after contesting in Big Boss show. If you have to name one single person who got mostly benefited because of Bigg Boss season 2 Telugu, it would be none other than Kaushal. However Kaushal is not someone who got unanimous positive feedback from all or most of the housemates. He has fans as well as anti-fans. He is like someone whom you can love or hate but can’t ignore. It is also surprising to see while many of his fans love him, most of the housemates hate him or at least don’t love him or his company.

Why his fans love him and how he got huge fan base in very short span of time?

Showing grit when bullied:

Imagine you have joined new college in a distant city where you don’t know anyone. You tried to mingle with people but they didn’t respond. Moreover some students already know each other may be because of studying in same school or something like that, and they form a group and they decide everything in that class on behalf of all the classmates. You try to question their dominance but you get bullied for that. Situation looks familiar? This is what the situation of Kaushal in the first couple of episodes. Tejaswi, Samrat and Tanish were like a group and were able to influence opinion of other housemates. Samrat was the first captain too. Then, lady contestants started saying they don’t like Kaushal. Deepthi Sunaina was the first one to raise red flag against Kaushal for touching her during a task. Even though Kaushal told she is like his sister, she told she doesn’t like even if her own brother carries her like that. Then Kireeti targeted Kaushal and housemates started repeatedly saying Kaushal’s behavior with woman is not good. The way Kaushal resisted all this bullying and showing the grit earned him great following.

Earned Sympathy of audience

In one episodes, he got bursted and said, what his wife would say to his children if they ask her why all the housemates are targeting him. What wrong did he do. Audience got convinced during that episode that others are unnecessarily targeting him.

No faking nature

Apart from his fighting nature, another thing that got him good following is his “no faking” nature. When people know that there are cameras capturing their emotions, they tend to behave artificial and show fake positive emotions. However, Kaushal always expressed true emotions. He even told sometimes that, he was in the house only to play the game but not to make friends or relations. People want to see real personality in this kind of reality show not the fake personality. People got connected to this as they believe he is honest.

Composed nature

Also, he was very composed even in the most negative circumstances. When someone in the house had dispute with him, he always shown up having direct one to one discussion with that person and trying to give clarification from his side.

So, overall 3 things contributed for the rise of his popularity. One, his strong attitude when everyone bullied him, two, people sympathized with him when all housemates were at one side and he was at another side, three, his basic behavior of staying composed and being honest.

But why most of the housemates hate him or don’t love him?

We’ll see it in next part , why housemates dislike him, why there are equal number of anti-fans for him and what are the chances of him winning the title.
