The movie is titled Hi Nanna and the first glimpse hints that the film is a classy emotional drama that revolves around a father and his daughter. Mrunal Thakur is the leading lady in Hi Nanna.

Mrunal calling Nani ‘Hi Nanna’ is the surprise of the glimpse. Vyra Entertainments are the producers of Hi Nanna. Shouryuv is making his directorial debut with Hi Nanna and Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music director. Hi Nanna is slated for December 21st release across the globe. The shoot of the film is currently happening in Hyderabad and the next schedule starts in Coonoor soon.

Buzz: Nani30 to get Preponed

Natural Star Nani is shooting for his 30th film that is directed by a debutant Shouryuv. The romantic entertainer has Mrunal Thakur playing the leading lady and the film was announced for December 21st release. The shooting portions of this untitled film are expected to be completed by the end of August but Nani wanted a comfortable release date and picked up Christmas season. There are strong reports that Pawan Kalyan’s OG may arrive during the season and Venkatesh’s Saindhav is slated for December 22nd release.

With two biggies around, Nani30 may get preponed. The makers are keen to complete the work at the earliest to lock the final release date of the film. Other dates in November and December are considered currently. If OG misses Christmas release, Nani30 will release as per the schedule. Vyra Entertainments are the producers of Nani30 which is yet to be titled.

After Hyd schedule, Mrunal Thakur heads to Coonoor for ‘#Nani30’

Actress Mrunal Thakur, who is known for films like ‘Sita Ramam’, ‘Dhamaka’, ‘Toofaan’ and others, recently concluded the Hyderabad schedule of her highly anticipated upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘#Nani30′, in which she will share the screen with Nani. The actress will now soon head to Coonoor for the next schedule of the film.

She also shared a candid and fun moment from the film’s shoot post the Mumbai schedule wrap-up. The picture captures Mrunal alongside Nani, and her dedicated team behind the film.

Speaking about her memories made during the schedule, Mrunal said: “Working on a#Nani30’ has been an absolute joy. We had a blast shooting in Mumbai, and I am excited to be part of the film. The energy on set was infectious and the entire cast/crew had a great time shooting so far. We will soon be heading to Coonoor soon and doing another schedule soon there.”

She also spoke about how South cinema and Hindi cinema are similar except for trivial differences in their functionality.

The actress said: “I personally feel cinema is cinema and much like we are a huge diverse country, cinema in India too is made of many different parts. I have been fortunate to now have worked in Hindi and the south. Yes at the periphery, there are some small differences, but the art remains constant. There are trivial differences maybe like shooting schedules and duration of shoots, like for example south films have a longer schedule as there’s a lot of detailing that happens.”

“Similarly the aspect of storytelling has its own nuances in each industry, like there’s a lingering common theme of human drama in a lot of south films while Hindi films focus a lot on emotions, etc. And they individually make for great storytelling platforms. At the end of the day, a film set is the same everywhere we go. I worked on ‘Love Sonia’ in my debut with major talent from the west, and barring maybe small differences, a movie set is a movie set and telling stories through cinema is universal,” she added.

Nani Follows Rajamouli’s Success Formula

SS Rajamouli is India’s Biggest Director. People say many reasons for the success of Rajamouli but the ace director has a big but hidden reason.

Rajamouli does not repeat genre of his films. After Magadheera, he does a Maryada Ramanna. After Baahubali, he shifts to RRR. RRR is not about big sets or war sequences. Hence there is no chance of comparison.

Nani is also following the same formula in his own way. Nani’s recent line up – Shyam Singha Roy, Ante Sundaraniki, and Dasara are all completely different.

Dasara is a very ambitious film for Nani in terms of scale, makeover, and performance. But he does not stick to the genre and attempts an emotional drama film as his next, #Nani30.

He did not stick to Dasara despite a big success and did not forever enjoy the success. He silently shifted to #Nani30. With that, there is no scope for comparison and also, audience will appreciate the variety.

Nani 30 Opening Held Majestically

Natural Star Nani will be joining hands with debutant Shouryuv for his milestone 30th movie to be produced on a lavish budget by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy KS under the banner of Vyra Entertainments.

The yet-to-be-titled flick had its opening ceremony today majestically. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Vijayendra Prasad, and several directors, as well as producers of Tollywood, made their presence at the event.

Mrunal Thakur will be playing the female lead in the movie. Hesham Abdul Wahab and Sanu John Varughese are the music director and cinematographer respectively.

The makers have also announced to begin the shoot of Nani30 tomorrow.

Nani unveils his 30th movie after ‘Dasara’; Mrunal Thakur to play female lead

In the New Year gift to his fans, Tollywood’s ‘Natural Star’ Nani on Sunday unveiled his 30th movie.

He has collaborated with Vyra Entertainments for the movie which will have Mrunal Thakur in the female lead.

To be produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy K.S., the yet-to-be-titled movie will be directed by Shouryuv, who will make his debut.

The makers on New Year released a video, unveiling the world of #Nani30.

The video shows Nani sitting on top of a building and clicking photos while discussing with his on-screen daughter about his next project.

Nani says he will be shaving his beard as well as his moustache, which he grew for ‘Dasara’.

The video gives the impression that the movie will be an emotional family entertainer with a different concept and father-daughter bonding is going to be the USP.

The makers announced film’s main technicians including the director.

Debutant Shouryuv will be wielding the megaphone for the first time.

Mrunal Thakur who made a grand debut in Telugu with Sita Ramam will be playing the heroine.

The movie will have some young and talented technicians taking care of different crafts.

Sanu John Varughese ISC will be cranking the camera and this will be his third movie with Nani, after Jersey and Shyam Singha Roy.

The cinematographer captured the emotions persuasively.

Popular Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame scores the music and his background score for the video is very pleasant and sets the right mood.

Praveen Anthony is the editor and Jothish Shankar is the production designer, while Satish EVV is the executive producer along with creative producer Bhanu Dheeraj Rayudu.

Nani30: Get Ready For New Year

Natural Star Nani has been busy with his own projects and production ventures. While he introduced his sister as a director with the web-series Meet Cute, he delivered a big hit with HIT-2. Nani who will next be seen in the mass action entertainer Dasara will be doing HIT 3 under his own banner.

Nani will be making a bigger announcement for the New Year. His 30th film has been announced officially today without disclosing many details of it. Mohan Cherukuri, Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Murthy KS will be producing the movie together under the banner of Vyra Entertainments. This will be their first production venture.

They will announce the director and remaining details of Nani30 on January 1st at 4:05 PM. Nani can be seen busy with his phone in the announcement poster.
