Actress Rakul Preet Singh is currently in Delhi, and it seems she is having a gala time with her family here.

On Thursday, Rakul shared a glimpse from her outdoor session with her father.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a clip in which she can be seen playing badminton with her father in her residential society premises.

At the end of the video, Rakul also mentioned the score, sharing how her father beat her.

Rakul arrived in Delhi from Mumbai last month. She even shared her experience of travelling amid the Covid pandemic.

On arrival, she had posted a photograph of herself at the airport. In the image, she’s seen wearing a PPE suit, face shield, gloves and a mask.

On the film front, Rakul will be seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in a rom-com.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh has relived her childhood days in a new post she shared on social media.

Rakul took to Instagram and shared a video where she plays games like “dog and the bone”, “Kabbadi” and “chidiya ud” with her brother Aman Preet .

“When time takes you back to your childhood #quarantinediaries,” the actress captioned the video.

On the acting front, Rakul will soon be seen in a cross-border romantic-comedy with actor Arjun Kapoor. The film is directed by debutant Kaashvie Nair and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham.

Rakul will also be seen in Kamal Haasan’s ambitious upcoming film “Indian 2”, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Vidyut Jammwal.

Her brother Aman Preet Singh is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the film “Ram Rajya”. It also stars Shobita Rana, Salman Sheikh, Shashwat Pratik, Rajesh Sharma, Govind Namdev, Manoj Bakshi, Sandeep Bhojak, Mukhtar Dekhani and Mushtaq Khan.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh reveals she will have a working Holi this year.

“I am shooting on the day of Holi,” she informed when asked about her Holi plans, before getting nostalgic about how she spent the day of colours as a child. “We used to play a very nasty Holi in my childhood. People would throw eggs on me! I stopped playing Holi in class IX or X, because you become aware of how much water is wasted. It’s not worth it and it damages the environment. Since then, I’ve only played dry Holi, I meet my family and friends and eat a lot of sweets and other dishes,” she recalled.

Does she have the Holi sweet tooth? “I used to like gujiyas a lot but now I can’t eat gujiyas due to my fitness regime. I can’t play with water and colours so, I prefer working on a festival,” she replied, while interacting with the media at the 8th edition of Cheryl’s Femina Ms Stylista West 2020.

Sharing her thought on International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8, she said: “I don’t believe in Women’s Day. We don’t celebrate Men’s Day, so why do we have to celebrate woman on just one day? I feel we should celebrate womanhood every single day. I feel we should respect women around us and that’s the most important thing. That way, we will celebrate womanhood in a far better way.”

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet has a busy year ahead, after impressing all with her roles in “Marjaavaan” and “De De Pyaar De”. She confirms signing filmmaker Indra Kumar’s yet-untitled film, which apparently co-stars her “De De Pyaar De” co-star Ajay Devgn and “Aiyaary” co-actor Sidharth Malhotra. Shooting for the film will start in April, the actress said.

That apart, she will be seen alongside John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in “Attack”, will also feature in Kamal Haasan’s “Indian 2” and also star in Kaashvie Nair’s untitled project this year, apart from a project down South.

“There is the (untitled) film that I am shooting with Arjun (Kapoor). So, I am shuttling between that film, ‘Attack’ and ‘Indian 2’. After that, I will get into a film in which I am working with Indra (Kumar) ji in April, once I wrap up shooting of these two films,” Rakul Preet revealed,

Actress Rakul Preet says she hasn’t made a name for herself in Bollywood and still has a long way to go.

Rakul made her acting debut in 2009 with Kannada film “Gilli”. She ventured into Bollywood in 2014 with “Yaariyan” and was later seen in “Aiyaary” in 2018.

“I don’t think I have yet made a name for myself in Bollywood. I don’t think I have done anything. In fact, I always keep saying that the fact that ‘I am an actor’ has not sunk in my head. I have been in this industry, in films for five to six years now,” Rakul told IANS in an e-mail interview.

She added: “Having done so many films even in the south, I mean I take my job seriously, but I don’t take the fact that I am an actor seriously.”

The 28-year-old actress loves her job and wants to continue doing it with the same passion.

“It feels great that God has been kind and the industries have been welcoming, where I got good projects to work on. But I think there is still a lot more to do and I have just begun, you know. This is just the start,” she said.

She will next be seen in “De De Pyaar De”, which is slated to release on May 17
