Over the past few weeks, speculations are quite rife regarding the landmark project of Megastar Chiranjeevi. A couple of months ago, ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh made a formal statement that he has narrated the first half of the script to Chiranjeevi and got the nod from him to develop the complete script. But, after that there was no confirmation on the project and various other filmmakers names were being heard for this prestigious project. Some rumors are also making rounds that the project has been shelved.
Closing all these ongoing rumors, Chiranjeevi has finally opened up about this much awaited project. Speaking to a media outlet earlier today, Chiranjeevi said that he is completely focused on doing the 150th film, but no script has yet been finalized. He agreed that Puri Jagannadh narrated a good first half of the script and admitted that the second half is not so convincing which put a pause for the project. He also said that he has been hearing out a lot of scripts from various filmmakers and hinted that in a couple of months, he will zero in on one best script which will suit his age and image. Also, he revealed that the female lead will be confirmed after the selection of the script. So,with this latest announcement from Chiranjeevi himself, it is clear that the 150th film is likely to go on floors later this year.
