The actress again came out with an explanation through a video message on her X app. She told after posting that weeping video on Instagram, she went to a saloon and pampered herself. Anasuya also told that crying was not for her social media negativity and was emotional while taking a decision related to her personal life. She urged everyone to be kind and posted the video only to let people know that everyone will have breakdowns and they are not alone. She also told that social media negativity will affect her and for sympathy gain, she did not post that video.

Anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj had a tiff with Vijay Deverakonda in the past and the issue was settled. After the release of his recent offering Liger, the discussion is back on Twitter. “To all the abusers!! Some of them used the word Aunty and the actress tweeted about it. “Here by..taking a screenshot of every account abusing me..age shaming me by calling“Aunty”..involving my family into this and I will file a case and take it to a point where you will regret getting to me without any legit reason..this is my final warning” posted Anasuya.
Soon the hashtag #Aunty kept trending on Twitter and there are more than 50000 tweets overnight. Anasuya posted replies for several abuses on Twitter with the hashtags #SayNOtoOnlineAbuse and #StopAgeShaming. One of the netizens questioned if a case can be filed for calling her Aunty. Anasuya was quick to reply saying “Yes, a case can be filed. Assaulting a woman verbally.. outraging her modesty”. Anasuya revealed that she would file cases against the online abuse with the Cybercrime cops. Anasuya argued that it is not fair to use the word Aunty and it is like pulling down someone by age shaming.
Some of them questioned Anasuya about doing the show Extra Jabardasth which is filled with adult jokes and double-meaning dialogues. Anasuya asked them to question the makers of the show about the same. Anasuya replied to several tweets and she sounded like she is getting ready for a strict action against those who kept abusing her on Twitter. Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj to play prostitute in her next
Anasuya Bharadwaj, who was most recently seen in Gopi Chand’s ‘Pakka Commercial’, is set to appear in an intriguing web series.
Director Krish has been preparing to launch a web series with an interesting concept based on the events of a prostitute’s life. Anasuya Bharadwaj will reportedly play a prostitute in the adaptation of Telugu novelist Gurajada Appa Rao’s Kanyasulakam.
Kanyasulakam is a play written in the 1890s and has remained among the most popular ones over the years. Anasuya will play Madhuravani, a prostitute who the drama’s protagonists.
The online series will begin production soon under director Krish. More information about the same is expected to be out shortly.

A poster showing the ‘Rangasthalam’ actress has been unveiled by the makers of the Malayalam movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’.
The first look poster features Anasuya in the role of Alice, a middle-aged woman. The deglam look of the ‘Kshanam’ actress has impressed all, creating much anticipation around the role she plays in ‘Bheeshma Parvam’.
The excited actress took to her Twitter to express her joy over her maiden Malayalam project. “Meet Alice. Thank you @neerad_amal Sir @mammukka Sir for allowing me to be your Alice.. Couldn’t dream of a better debut in Malayalam Cinema #BheeshmaParvam”, Anasuya’s tweet reads.
Anasuya is to carry much significance to the story in the movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, which stars Mammootty in the lead.
‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is directed by Amal Neerad, and the shooting of the movie is currently underway. It is slated for release in theatres on February 24, 2022.

Anasuya Bharadwaj’s first look from ‘Pushpa’ fails to enthuse fans
Directed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun’s pan-India movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is one of the most anticipated movies in recent times. With a rustic, rural backdrop, the makers had managed to establish a decent buzz around the movie.
The makers unveiled the first look poster of actress Anasuya Bharadwaj on Wednesday, which has left the fans and followers in splits. While Anasuya’s unrecognisable look goes viral, it seems like most of the movie fans have not approved of this look.
Introduced as ‘Dakshayini’, Anasuya’s introductory poster is termed as ‘savorless’ by movie fans.
The first look poster of Anasuya Bharadwaj features her in a primitive avatar. Though the team seems to have put their efforts together for this look, it only looks like a cobbled-together pose. Anasuya is seen wearing heavy golden jewels, as she chews paan, and a nutcracker in her hands.
Her intense look makes the actress unrecognisable, which is not well-received by the Telugu audience. Well, in contrast to these reviews, the makers believe Anasuya’s role in the movie ‘Pushpa’ will fetch her praise.
Pushpa’s story is based on real-life incidents from the remote parts of Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district. The story is said to revolve around the red sandalwood smugglers in the Seshachalam hills of the region.
Directed by Sukumar, the film will see Allu Arjun playing the role of a sandalwood smuggler named Pushpa Raj, who is paired up with Rashmika Mandanna.
‘Pushpa’ is a two-part movie and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.
Anasuya replaces Tamannaah

Anasuya Bharadwaj: I prefer looking different to looking good on screen
Telugu actress Anasuya Bharadwaj says she has always tried essaying a variety of characters ever since she made her debut in the 2016 film “Kshanam”. She emphasis her motive behind every character is to look different on screen, even if it doesn’t make her look conventionally beautiful.
“My purpose behind choosing a film is that I don’t prefer looking very good, but I want to look different on screen. I don’t like to bore people, I like to surprise them. Surprise is that one element and as much as people deny it, everyone likes to get surprised,” Anasuya tells IANS.
The actress was recently seen in the film “Thank You Brother”, a psychological thriller about two people stuck in an elevator. The actress played a pregnant woman named Priya, who is one of the two protagonists.
Anasuya has also been part of films such as “Rangasthalam”, “Gayathri” and “Kathanam” among others, and says that she is always conscious of maintaining a balance between glamorous and non-glamorous roles on screen.
“I am always making sure I have that I balance the glamour part and the intense, non-glamour part. I can be an actor of all classes and that is a conscious effort.
“Thank You Brother” is Anasuya’s first direct release on an OTT platform. The actress says that she never shot the film keeping the platform of release in mind.
“Thank You Brother is my first direct OTT film and we shot under circumstance where everything was very unpredictable. While shooting the film, I never had that approach whether it would release in theatre or on OTT. I am yet to experience the real OTT experience because I have yet to shoot a web series, even though I have signed a couple of them. I love OTT content and would surely enjoy being a part of it. I am a big movie lover, but what OTT has given me is it’s taken us to an entirely different world that I equally enjoy,” she says.
Does a story of a film impact her even after she has ended the shoot? She is prompt with her reply: “I can switch off once the director says ‘cut’.”
She cites the example of her debut film. “Kshanam” to underline what she claims. The actress, a TV journalist and anchor before entering films, was offered a negative role in her debut film of 2016 — something many female debutantes would rather avoid. Anasuya, however, didn’t say no to the film’s writer-hero Adivi Sesh.
“When Sesh narrated the story to me, he didn’t tell me which character he was looking at me for. So, when he narrated, I actually imagined myself to be (heroine) Adah (Sharma)’s character. When he suddenly said that he was looking for the ACP’s character, I was surprised. I think I took a day’s time, and the next day woke up with clarity as to why not experiment and explore?” says Anasuya, whose new film “Thank You Brother” dropped on Aha.
