Prasanth Varma puts two Big Projects Aside

The super success of Hanuman changed the career of Prasanth Varma. He is in huge demand and several stars are ready to work with the talented director. He announced Jai Hanuman, the sequel for Hanuman and he needs a star actor to play Lord Hanuman in the film. The scriptwork of the film is currently going on. At the same time, Prasanth Varma attempted to start Raakshas with Ranveer Singh playing the lead role. The film was shelved due to undisclosed reasons. For now, both Jai Hanuman and Raakshas are delayed.

Prasanth Varma will launch Nandamuri scion Mokshagna this year and the script is locked recently. Prasanth Varma has been in talks with Balakrishna for a film and Balayya handed over the responsibility to introduce his son to Prasanth Varma. The filming will start this year. A top production house in association with Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini will produce this project. More details will be announced in a month along with the official announcement.

Prasanth Varma is on the top after the super success of Hanuman. He hinted of doing multiple films and Prasanth Varma said that he would work with several directors in the coming years. He has been working on a script titled Adhira from a long time and it was delayed due to several reasons. The film is now locked and is all set to enter shoot mode. Young choreographer turned director Vijay Binny will direct this superhero film and Kalyan Dasari, the producer of DVV Danayya will make his debut as the lead actor with Adhira.

Hanuman producer Niranjan Reddy will bankroll this expensive film on Primeshow Entertainment banner. An official announcement about Adhira will be made soon. The final script is locked and the pre-production work of the film is currently going on. The female lead and the other lead actors, technicians are finalized.

He has been announcing his big plans for his upcoming projects and he revealed that all these films will be made on Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. He announced Jai Hanuman and the film was on cards for a 2025 release. But he narrated a script to Bollywood top actor Ranveer Singh and the project is happening quite soon. The film is planned on a massive budget of Rs 300 crores. Mythri Movie Makers decided to back the film.

Prasanth Varma has decided to push Jai Hanuman to 2026 and he will complete Ranveer Singh’s film this year. This untitled film will head for a theatrical release next year and Prasanth Varma will start Jai Hanuman during the mid of 2025. The film will release in 2026. Prasanth Varma is currently focused on the pre-production work of Ranveer’s film and an announcement will be made very soon.

After the super success of Hanuman, Prasanth Varma is working on the script of the sequel titled Jai Hanuman. Teja Sajja will reprise his role while a top actor is expected to play Lord Hanuman. Prasanth Varma admitted that Jai Hanuman will be made on a massive scale and lavish budget. The new poster of Jai Hanuman is out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi. The update says that Lord Hanuman will be fighting with Dragons and Jai Hanuman will be the first Indian film to have dragons. The team also announced that Jai Hanuman will hit the screens in 3D.

The new poster did not mention Niranjan Reddy’s name as the producer. So it is unclear if there is a change of producer for Jai Hanuman. Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe is only displayed in the poster. More details are expected to be announced officially soon.
