Kalyaan Dhev comes from a business family based in Andhra Pradesh and he got married to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Sreeja. Kalyaan Dhev was keen to make his acting debut and he was well trained before his first film. The entire Mega family came out to promote him and his debut film Vijetha. Things changed completely for his second film Super Machi as Kalyaan Dhev and Sreeja are not on good terms. The film failed to register minimum footfalls and the theatrical share is almost zero. His next film Kinnerasani is ready for release soon.

There are speculations that the future of Kalyaan Dhev as an actor came to an end. It would be a tough task for Kalyaan Dhev to stand as an actor without the support of the Mega family. His acting skills too are quite poor and both his films received poor response from the audience. Ram Talluri who is quite close to Pawan Kalyan produced Kinnerasani and the film may find it tough to release in theatres. Kalyaan Dhev and Sreeja are tight-lipped about their separation for now. Kalyaan Dhev tests positive for Covid-19

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law, actor Kalyaan Dhev, has tested positive for Covid-19 and is quarantined in hospital. Kalyaan took to Instagram on Thursday to share the health update.

“Yesterday I tested Covid-19 positive with mild symptoms. Quarantined at hospital. Will soon bounce back stronger. Thank you for all your love!” Kalyaan wrote.

The actor will next be seen in “Super Machi”, which is reportedly a romantic film directed By Puli Vasu and also stars Rachita Ram and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Mehreen rejects working with Mega Hero?

Punjabi beauty Mehreen after a series of hits has been shattered with debacles. The actress signed a film with Sudheer Babu which will be bankrolled by Rizwan Entertainments. The actress has been promised Rs 30 lakhs as remuneration and Mehreen was paid advance for the film. Now with Sudheer Babu walking out of the project, the actress is not in a mood to work for the film.

Though the real reasons haven’t been revealed, Sudheer Babu has been replaced by Kalyaan Dhev, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law in this untitled project that will be directed by Puli Vasu. Mehreen is not in a mood to work with Kalyaan Dhev and she rejected paying back the advance amount. The makers failed to convince the actress after several attempts and they approached the Producer’s council recently.

Mehreen who is running in a lean phase is now landing into controversies which may sure end her film career in a short span.

Full Report : Vijetha is about a middle class father who was unable to pursue a career he is passionate about due to family obligations. He mentors his wayward son to pursue his passion. Rest of story is how his son succeeds and also how he gives him a surprise gift related to his passion.

First things first. This movie is no Bommarillu as has been touted. No where even close. Director picked a once successful formula that has been used and reused in Tollywood. Either be it due to the lead pair or narration, there is no emotional connection in the movie. Kudos to Sai Korrapati for excellent Production values. Senthil’s Cinematography stands out.

Kalyaan Dhev is just OK and has a long long way to go before he can even get into the Mega Eleven.

8:00 AM Kalyaan gives a surprise to his father which ties back to his missing passion, he couldn’t pursue due to family obligations. The End.

7:20 AM Even though technical team has tried to cover up for Kalyaan’s lack of emotions, he falls flat in pre climax scene.

7:15 AM – Salaam Salaam song. Long shots and it appears as if director tries to minimize lead actor’s screentime as much as possible.

7:00 AM – A flippant kidnap drama orchestrated by Kalyaan Devv. Forced emotions.

First half report:

Vijetha is about a middle class father who was unable to succeed in a career he is passionate about and deeply worried about his son and family.

Kalyaan Dhev is just OK. Cameraman Senthil (Baahubali game) takes ample care. He looks odd in few scenes.

Following the footsteps of young heroes from Mega clan, Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev is making his debut in Tollywood with a film titled as Vijetha which is set for release today.

Vijetha promotions in TV9: Chiranjeevi fans feeling disgruntled ?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dev’s debut movie is releasing on 12th July. The movie is titled ‘Vijeta’ which reminds people of 1985 super hit Chiranjeevi movie with same title. This movie is produced by Sai Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and is directed by Rakesh Sasi. Malvika Nair, who proved her mettle with the films like Yevade Subramanyam and Kalyana Vaibhogame, is playing opposite Kalyan Dev. Yesterday, the hero of the movie and son in law of Chiranjeevi came to TV9 Studio to promote his debut film. But this actually hurt several Mega fans. Details as below.

It is known news that Pawan Kalyan attacked some media channels on 20th April alleging that these channels have colluded with ruling party and intentionally degrading Pawan Kalyan and his family. Pawan Kalyan also had meeting with film industry bigwigs requesting their support to fight on these channels who are not only degrading his family but also entire industry on several occasions. Later Chiranjeevi also held a meeting with several top stars of the industry and the meeting was attended by many including Junior NTR and Mahesh Babu. During that time, there have been speculations that mega family is taking control of the film industry slowly and taking necessary steps to hit back these channels. Some of the Mega fans even obliged the suggestion of Pawan Kalyan and blocked these channels from their TV sets personally.

These hard core fans who are supporting mega family seems to have hurt with yesterday’s development of Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law going to TV9 Studio and promoting their film. They felt that at least Chiranjeevi family heroes should have stood by Pawan Kalyan’s request and excluded TV9. Or if they (Chiranjeevi &Co) understand that they need the support of these channels (TV9), they should have kept quiet when the issue happened instead of convening meetings in the industry and sending signals to the people that they are doing something to hit back at these channels and thereby giving false hopes to fans. While the fans of Pawan and Mega family blocked the channels upon the request of Pawan, these mega heroes promoting their films through the same channels, is not at all going well with the fans.

Overall, Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law giving interview in TV9 Studio did not go well with the mega fans who blocked this channel in their personal TV sets.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev is making his silver screen debut with a film titled as Vijetha. While the teaser presented the emotional story of a jobless graduate and his responsible father, the trailer is a blend of all ingredients that make up for a full length entertainer.

The two minute trailer is simple with fun filled elements and emotional content. Kalyaan Dhev looks decent and we need to wait and see his complete performance on screen to rate his acting skills. It is Murali Sharma’s role that seems to form the core plot of the film.

Though there is nothing much to rave about the trailer, it appears that the makers have sticked to time tested template for Kalyaan Dhev’s debut. Rakesh Sashi is the director.

Production values by Sai Korrapati are adequate and the music score is peppy. Malavika Nair is the film’s leading lady.

With a bunch of Mega heroes proving their mettle, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev is all set for debut with Vijetha. Sai Korrapati, the film’s producer is in plans to release the movie on July 6th which marks the release date of Eega and is the debut film of Sai Korrapati. When things are going smooth, Sai Dharam Tej’s next outing Tej: I Love You has been announced for July 6th release.

Tej: I Love You has been initially slated for June 29th release but the post-production’s delay pushed the film’s release. With two Mega films slated for release on the same day, Mega fans are left puzzled. Both the producers are in talks to avoid the clash and an update is expected soon. Vijetha’s audio release event will take place on June 24th and Megastar Chiranjeevi will attend the event as Chief Guest. We have to wait to see if one of the film gets pushed by a day or a week or if both the films clash at the box-office.

The recently released trailer of the film was well received by the fans and it clearly explained the “father and son” theme of the movie. However there has been discussion that whether Chiranjeevi’s son in law will be able to break the mega sentiment that was seen in the careers of mega heroes.

Most of the Mega heroes got the best successes in their second films. For example Ram Charan’s debut movie Chirutha was an average grosser while his second film Magadheera was one of the biggest hits in his career. Similarly Varun Tej who made his debut as hero with Mukunda movie got a flop but his second movie Kanche got him critical acclaim besides becoming commercial success and winning awards. Same way, Allu Arjun first movie as hero was Gangothri. Even though it was the success commercially, it was his second film Arya that made career for him.

Impressed with Rakesh Sashi’s maiden film ‘Jatha Kalise’, which he released later, producer Sai Korrapati asked the director to make his second film for Vaarahi Chalana Chitram. Although the project took time, Rakesh was determined to make it count this time around. “People who watched my first film said it’s a decent effort but I wanted my next to reach out to a large section of audience. ‘ ‘Vijetha’ is an emotional drama unlike ‘Jatha Kalise’, which was a thin line, and it required certain maturity from my end. I felt I had it and I’m confident that I’ve done justice to the script,” he begins in a conversation with Telugu360.com.

The film marks the acting debut of Kalyaan Dhev who is married to megastar Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Sreeja. Rakesh insists that the actor was never in the picture when he was done with the script. “As I began to search for my male lead, I got in touch with Satyanand garu who spoke about Kalyaan. He was just through with an acting course at Satyanand’s Institute in Vizag by then. I’ve approached him telling him that I was doing Vaarahi’s next film. He liked the line but said that he’d get back to me after speaking to his family once,” Rakesh flashbacks, adding that till then he kept Sai in the dark. “As I was waiting to hear back from Kalyaan, I told Sai garu about my rendezvous with Kalyaan. Three- four days later I got a call from Kalyaan asking that Chiranjeevi garu wants to hear the story.”

He admits that he was a tad nervous to narrate the script to Chiru to begin with as he has grown up watching the megastar’s movies but regained his composure quickly. “I gave him a narration of more than one-and-a-half hours. He liked the content and the way I narrated. He gave his assessment of the script for 30 minutes, while noting, ‘I’ve heard of a lot of scripts of late but nothing caught my fancy like this.’ His appreciation was like a pat on the back. He even told Kalyaan, ‘You should consider yourselves lucky to be introduced with such a subject’.”

Didn’t Chiru suggest any changes? He replies, “He offered his expertise on how careful should I be about certain emotional sequences and how I should go about them. That’s it! He didn’t propose even a single change. He particularly liked the screenplay.”

As Kalyaan signed on the dotted line, Sai’s initial plans for the film changed significantly. “He wasn’t expecting Kalyaan to do the film at first,” he smiles, “But as soon as Chiranjeevi garu gave us the required consent, Sai garu had to alter his plans both budget-wise and technicians-wise. KK Senthil Kumar was not the cinematographer till then. Sai garu spoke to him and asked him to listen to the story. Senthil garu, being extremely busy, chose to do the film after endorsing the story. Likewise, ‘Rangasthalam’ production designer Ramakrishna too joined the film. He too wasn’t a part of the film in the initial scheme of things.”

Borrowed slightly from his personal life and from what he has seen around, ‘Vijetha’, which is a week away from a wrap-up, is the story of a middle-class youth (played by Kalyaan) who has just completed his engineering. “That’s all I can reveal as of now,” he laughs wide, pointing out that they haven’t released the teaser yet.

While he isn’t keen to get into the subject of nepotism bearing in mind Kalyaan’s background, he informs that newbie was tailor-made for the part. “In fact, as I began to interact with him for the project, he said that he dreamt of being an artiste, and so enrolled himself at Satyanand Institute.” But isn’t the film’s title clearly a publicity ploy to attract mega fans? Rakesh reasons that everybody knows how Sai Korrapati promotes films and that ‘Vijetha’ wasn’t the initial title that he had in mind. “They were other titles that I considered but the team felt ‘Vijetha’ was more appropriate. Also, it has nothing to do with Chiranjeevi garu’s old film. In fact, we asked him if he’d be okay with the title and he had no issues as such,” Rakesh ends.
