Megastar lauds Vaisshnav Tej’s Kondapolam

Sai Tej’s brother Vaisshnav Tej made an impressive debut with Uppena. The actor is all set for the release of his second film Kondapolam that is directed by Krish. This different attempt is releasing in theatres today and Megastar Chiranjeevi watched the film in a private screening last night. Chiranjeevi lauded the efforts of Krish and the unique content the film carried. He said that he was thrilled with the film’s content and the way the message was delivered. Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh played the lead roles in Kondapolam.

Watch: The World Of Konda Polam 

Panja Vaishnav Tej’s Konda Polam after that stunning debut with Uppena is all set to surprise audience with another unique subject – Konda Polam on October 8th as Dasara Special. 

The team has released the special making video of the film today at the Pre-release event giving us a glimpse of the adventurous world of Konda Polam and the hard work the team has put into it. 

The first noticeable thing about the video is the stunning forest and hilly locations. They offer a fresh outlook for the film but at the same time makes it very difficult to shoot there. 

The ordeals of the team can be seen from the video. The film also seems to be physically taxing on Vaishnav Tej who is just doing his second film but he still nailed it as seen in the video. The action sequences are also natural.

Rakul Preet Singh seems apt for Obulamma character in those traditional attires. The making video seems like we are going to be led into an adventurous world with Konda Polam. Come this October 8th, we are in for something different for sure. First Frame Entertainments bankroll the film which has MM Keeravani composing the music.

Crucial October for Telugu Cinema

After the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the exhibition industry in Telugu states is back to the track and there are several prominent releases in the recent weeks. Despite the barrier of ticket pricing issue in Andhra Pradesh, Telugu cinema is gearing up for a big bet in October. Sai Tej’s Republic is the first time that is hitting the screens today. The film is carrying good expectations. His brother Vaisshnav Tej will be testing his luck with his second film Kondapolam and the film is hitting the screens on October 8th. Krish directed the movie and Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady.

Dasara weekend will have a bunch of releases. Sharwanand and Siddharth starter Maha Samudram is high on expectations and the film releases on October 14th. Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor is releasing on October 15th. Roshan’s Pelli SandaD is also getting ready for October 15th release. Naga Shaurya’s Varudu Kaavalenu stands postponed and the film is gearing up for October 22nd release. Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish is making his debut with Rowdy Boys and the film may release on October 29th. The expected theatrical business for these films is close to Rs 90 crores.

Kondapolam Trailer: A Realistic Tale

Talented and sensible filmmaker Krish did a small budget film during the pandemic season. The movie is titled Kondapolam and is inspired by the novel penned by Sannapureddy Venkatrami Reddy. Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh played the lead roles in Kondapolam. The film was announced for release on October 8th and the makers released the trailer of the film today. Kondapolam is a realistic attempt without any commercial ingredients. Mostly shot in the forests of Vikarabad, Kondapolam narrates about the challenges faced by the families who depend on raising sheep in forests.

Vaisshnav Tej comes from a small village who fails to settle in Hyderabad and takes up the profession of his father. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sai Chand and Nazar will be seen in other important roles. Kondapolam trailer looks realistic but it is slow paced. Rakul plays a village belly and the love interest of Vaisshnav Tej. Firstframe Entertainments produced the film and MM Keeravani composed the music.

Kondapolam First Look: Vaishnav Tej Looks Attentive

After Uppena, Vaishnav Tej comes up with another interesting project being directed by Krish with Rakul Preei Singh playing the female lead. First Frame Entertainments is producing the film which is in final stage of post-production.

The makers have unveiled title and first look poster of the movie. It is titled as Kondapolam and the first look poster looks very interesting. Vaishnav Tej looks attentive here and there’s watchfulness in his eyes. Shepherds and sheep can be seen in the backdrop of forest. The video also presents Vaishnav Tej in action-packed avatar, as he is set to fight some malefactors in the forest. While camera work by Gnana Shekar VS is stupendous, Keeravani’s music takes the visuals to next level.

Interesting aspect is Vaishnav Tej is presented as a saviour of the forest and the sheep. He seems to have played authoritative role in the movie. The poster also gives an impression that Kondapolam is going to be a visual wonder. An Epic Tale Of ‘Becoming’ is the tagline of the film.

Lockdown impact on Krish’s Kondapolam

After Uppena turned out to be a sensational hit, Vaisshnav Tej is in huge demand. Even before the release of Uppena, he worked with Krish and completed the shoot of Kondapolam. After the theatres are shut for the second time, there are speculations that Konapolam will head for a digital release and the deal is currently closed. But there is no truth in the news. The film has an ample dose of VFX work and this is yet to be completed. Due to the second wave of coronavirus, the VFX work is delayed and the firms clarified that they would deliver the VFX work before December.

Considering the VFX delivery, Kondapolam will not release this year and the first copy of the film will be ready in December. Krish is in plans to announce the release plans and the date only after the final copy will get ready. Krish also says that Kondapolam is a film that should be experienced on a large screen. The theatrical rights of the film are acquired by Laxman for a price of Rs 12 crores. Kondapolam has Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. First Frame Entertainments are the producers.

Talented and sensible filmmaker Krish completed a small budget film during the coronavirus pandemic time when the actors and filmmakers restricted themselves to their homes. Krish roped in Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh for a village-based entertainer and the entire film was shot in and around Vikarabad forests. Krish was extremely impressed with the novel titled Kondapolam which is written by S Venkata Ramireddy and adapted into a film.

Going with the news, Krish even retained the title of the novel and got it registered for the movie. The film is titled Kondapolam and is in the final stages of post-production. It is unclear if the film releases in theatres or heads for a digital release. Krish’s home production First Frame Entertainments are the producers. Krish will soon direct Pawan Kalyan in a periodic drama that will resume shoot next year.
