RX 100 beauty Payal Rajput took her social media page to post sensational things about the film Rakshana. The actress alleged that she has been harassed by the team without honouring her complete remuneration. This went viral in no time and the producer, director of Rakshana team approached the Telugu Film Producers Council and a complaint has been registered against Payal Rajput. The Council asked the actress to attend the shoot and promote the film as per the guidelines.

The Council also announced that the pending remuneration of Rs 6 lakhs has been deposited to the Council by the producer and asked Payal Rajput to support the team of Rakshana. The Telugu Film Producers Council also sent a complaint against Payal Rajput to Movie Artistes Association (MAA) but Payal Rajput is not a member of MAA. The Council also announced that it is ready to resolve the issue between both the parties.

Punjabi beauty Payal Rajput shot to fame in Tollywood with RX 100 and she has done enough films. The actress is yet to announce her next big project. Taking her social media page, Payal Rajput made sensational comments about a film Rakshana that is due for release. She said that the team is yet to clear the dues and they are forcing her to promote the film based on her recent success. She also said that the distributors of the film asked her to showcase her assets and the actress hinted of initiating legal proceedings against the team. Here is her statement:

“I have a film, “Rakshana”, shot in 2019 and 2020 originally named 5Ws. The release was delayed and now they’re trying to benefit from my recent success without clearing dues and demanding promotion presence. My team communicates my unavailability due to prior commitments, but they threaten to ban me from Telugu cinema. Our team attempted to negotiate for digital promotion of Rakshana with Payal, suggesting clearing dues with compensation first. However, they refused to compromise, using my name in a way that tarnishes my image, which is unacceptable. In the recent meetings, they used inappropriate language, stating that the distributor asked Payal to showcase certain assets, and if she didn’t, they wouldn’t accept the film. We are now considering legal action because they are not settling the payments and planning to release the film without my authorization or consent” posted Payal Rajput on her official social media page.

Mangalavaaram is one small film that kept the bars of expectations high because of the trailer. RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi is the director and Payal Rajput is the leading lady. Azmal, Ajay Ghosh, Divya Pillai, Ravindra Vijay and others played other prominent roles. Kantara fame Ajneesh Loknath scored the music and background score. Mangalavaaram is slated for a grand release today and here is the review of Mangalavaaram:

The story happens in 90s in a village named Mahalakshmipuram. Twin murders in the village creates a sensation and everyone is worried about what is happening. Illegal relationships are the reason behind this murders and the murderer writes about these relationships on the walls of the village. SI Meena (Nanditha Swetha) starts investigating the murders but the villagers raises objections for conducting postmortems for the dead bodies. All these murders takes place on Tuesday and the rest of Mangalavaaram is all about the force behind these murders. Mangalavaaram is also the story of Sailu (Payal Rajput) who is a nymohomaniac. Analysis:

Mangalavaaram is the story of Sailu but the film has several layers and sub-plots. The character of Sailu is introduced right before the interval episode. The film starts with the childhood story of Sailu and then about a series of murders that take place in the village. Though there is no great plot, it is the editing pattern, engaging background score that drives the film. Ajay Ghosh’s comic episodes are good and the first half is passable.

The real story starts after the interval. The first half brings the feel of a suspense thriller but the second half makes the audience feel that Mangalavaaram is a character-based story. Sailu’s flashback episodes and her struggle lack emotional depth and they are over-dramatic. The last 20 minutes of Mangalavaaram is packed with enough number of twists out of which some of them are thrilling. The director failed to unfold some of the twists in Mangalavaaram. There is no perfect link between the story of Sailu and why the murders are happening on Tuesdays.

Performances:

Payal Rajput steps into a never seen challenging role. One needs guts to do such role. Payal delivered her best as Sailu and she believed in the vision of Ajay Bhupathi. Her role is restricted to second half and Sailu’s role has an overdose of emotions at times. The first half of Mangalavaaram is packed with unwanted elevations and they do not have any link with Sailu’s role and the second half of Mangalavaaram. Nanditha Swetha looks rugged in the role of SI. Ajay Ghosh is a huge relief and his role generates smiles. Chaitanya is good as Zamindar of Mahalakshmipuram and all the other role are limited.

Music composer Ajneesh Loknath is the real hero of Mangalavaaram. His sound design is fantastic and he carries the complete first half. The editing work too is quite crisp. The cinematography work too excells throughout the film. The production values are apt. As told by Ajay Bhupathi, the story of Sailu was never told before in Indian cinema. He sets a revenge drama around her story and tried to narrate it in a new manner. There are ample number of characters and roles from the village. Apart from an emotional drama, Mangalavaaram is laced with horror elements and thrills.

With lot of sub-plots and characters, Ajay Bhupathi could not do complete justice for the film. His work is elevated at times and the film is backed by a strong technical team. The last 20 minutes of Mangalavaaram is racy and impressive. There are lot of cinematic liberties throughout. Director should have worked more on Sailu’s pain and problem which was not well narrated. On the whole, Mangalavaaram ends up as an average fare and it will not be a disappointment.

Mangalavaram is one small film that caught everyone’s attention with the trailer. The film is a dark thriller with high technical values. This Ajay Bhupathi directorial passed the censor certification recently and it was awarded A certificate without any cuts. But the censor officials raised their objection over the lyrics in Appadappada Tandra, a satirical song that was shot on Tharun Bhascker and others. The song is now removed from the film before the release informed the director. The full song will be released tomorrow as the film will not have the number.

Mangalavaram features Payal Rajput, Azmal, Ajay Ghosh, Nanditha Swetha, Giridhar and others in important roles. Kantara fame Ajneesh’s music and background score are the expected highlights. ‘Mangalavaaram’: ‘Appadappada Thaandra’ uncovers behind-the-scenes secrets

What is a film set in a village without quips and naughty commentary on the covert affairs between men and women? The song ‘Appadappada Thaandra’ from ‘Mangalavaaram’, set to tune by Ajaneesh Loknath and written by Ganesh A, follows a unique pattern in making gossip about stealthy affairs seem like art.

Choreographer Bhanu lets the men, especially Tharun Bhascker (in a guest role) and Laxman, exude child-like enthusiasm. Rahul Sipligunj, one of the most energetic singers out there, completes the show with aplomb.

The rural action thriller is led by Payal Rajput. Director Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX 100’ fame is set to offer us umpteen themes if the trailer and the three songs released so far are anything to infer from.

Nandita Swetha, Ajay Ghosh and several others will be seen in supporting/negative roles. “This is a dark thriller with a difference. Strong nativity, editing and sound design were kept in mind while making it,” the makers said recently.

Today the teaser of ‘RDX 100’ is released in order to reinstate faith of some critics that some filmmakers in Tollywood never change in the name of catering to B & C centre audiences. Deeply gross and disgusting, it’s Tollywood’s bad luck that these type of films coming even in the age of Saaho, Sye Raa, Rangasthalam, Agent Athreya and Brochevarevaru Ra.

RDX100 deals with the story of a sex addicted guy who loves to do it only wearing a safety. He’s then joined by a girl of similar mentality, and almost in all the shots showcased, Payal Rajput is no less than a C-grade Malayalam movie starlet. In the name of glamour, the film is almost like a double-x movie that is made with lavish budgets.

Making adult movies these days should actually consist of interesting stories that Bollywood films are coming up with. But banking on heroine’s skin show and some vulgar double meaning dialogues is something that is not encourageable. These types of films only prove that some mindsets never change as they think that showcasing heroine’s glamour will make some audiences drooling to rush to theatres.
