    Jacqueline’s style in ‘Bad Boy’ song of ‘Saaho’ stuns all

    Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez’s special dance number, “Bad boy” in “Saaho” has became a rage within hours of its online release. Apart from Jacqueline’s cool moves, what has grabbed eyeballs is the actress’s stunning costume for the song.

    In the song, Jacqueline is seen sporting a white crop top paired with denim hot pants and a shiny silver neck piece. The outfit by Leepakshi Ellawadi has captured as much imagination of fans as hero Prabhas’ super swag in the number, and Badshah’s rap rendition.

    “Bad Boy” has so far ganrnered over 28 million views on YouTube. Badshah has written and composed the song, and also sung the number with Neeti Mohan.

    “Saaho”, starring Prabhas with Shraddha Kapoor, has been directed by Sujeeth. The film also features Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh in key roles, and is slated to release on August 30.

    Saaho Premiers : Shockingly low premiers on cards

    Prabhas starrer Saaho is undoubtedly the most anticipated film of season. As this is Prabhas’ immediate film after Baahubali, which set a new benchmark in overseas, trade circles have been expecting a solid start. Given the hype and hysteria among audience, Saaho should canter to $ 1 million mark without much difficulty. However, the current bookings in overseas suggest a disappointing start.

    As of this writing, the advance sales for Telugu version are quite moderate( $ 300K – $350K range ) and other languages are trivial. As Telugu360 reported earlier, the exorbitant ticket pricing and poor planning are the main reasons for this shockingly low response from audience. After the extravagant trailers evoked a striking response, it is expected that the film will take a mind-blowing start on its premiers day. But the strategy of high ticket pricing for Tamil and Hindi versions on par with Telugu version are proving to be a costly mistake for Saaho. At this rate, the film might find it difficult to surpass non – Baahubali films like Khaidi No 150, Agnyathavaasi, Spyder etc. Anything less than $ 1 Million gross from premiers will be a not-so-impressive start for Saaho as a lot of money is at stake in overseas circuit.

    Sleepless nights for Prabhas

    Saaho Worldwide Pre-Release Business – Record For a Non-Franchise Indian film

    Prabhas‘ Baahubali follow up is doing some Baahubalian numbers when it comes to the pre-release business, as Saaho has blasted the pre-release business records for the non-franchise Indian film.

    The biggest Tollywood film of the year, nayy, Indian, has yielded ₹272 crore for its theatrical rights worldwide, making it the third biggest pre-seller in the history of Indian cinema behind Baahubali: The Conclusion and 2.0. What makes it special is the fact that, the top two were instalments of the two of the biggest franchises of India, directed by the two biggest directors. In case of Saaho, it all comes to, what is said to be the first pan-India star, perhaps since Bachchan. Of course, the Baahubali boost is at work but if Saaho gets the talk right, Prabhas is here for big things, but more on that after release.

    The film’s North India theatrical rights are valued at ₹60 crore approx (part of Hindi version acquisition deal), which is more than any film of Bollywood superstar like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan till date.

    The film, for break even, requires to gross a hefty ₹450 crore approx in India, which will be just outside the top five grossers of all time, just below P.K. That will not only place it at the doorstep of the big five but also make the biggest grosser of 2019, beating Avengers: Endgame ₹439 crore approx.

    For reaching there, the film is given a very wide release, the widest of all time, going by the initial numbers, but more clarity on that in a day or two.

    Saaho surpasses Baahubali: The Conclusion even before Release

    Young Rebelstar Prabhas is testing his luck after two complete years with Saaho, for the first time after the release of Baahubali franchise. The film is getting the biggest ever release for any Indian film and the efforts kept by the makers are stupendous. Saaho is releasing in over 550 screens in Tamil Nadu alone which is highest ever for a non-Tamil film. Baahubali: The Conclusion released in close to 525 screens in the state. Saaho already surpassed Baahubali franchise even before its release.

    Karnataka too is getting a wide release and record number of premieres are planned from 5 AM across Bengaluru and other major cities of the state. In Telugu states, the craze for the film is exceptional and the pre-release sales are said to be outstanding.     Costliest song of Saaho proves their exit is the right decision

    One can call it a soothing melody or appreciate the magnificent visuals it had, but that won’t make a song super hit until it instantly impresses music lovers. Like the way, Saaho’s previous songs like ‘Psycho Saiyan’ and ‘Enni Soni’ impressed music lovers, this new song is actually struggling to win their adulation.

    Composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the song ‘Baby Won’t You Tell Me’ is released today and the visuals of the song are getting a thumbs up from all. Especially the meadows of Austria, the pink hue lake in Western Australia and specially erected set in Abu Dabhi desert are a treat to the eyes. That’s how the makers ended spending crores for this single song, making it costliest song of the present times. But what about the tune?

    Compared to the many soulful melodies we’ve heard and many melodies that featured in Prabhas’ movies, this song is nothing. Neither there is an instant kick nor it gives a comeback-again to-hear kind of feeling. That also brings us back to the question of why creative differences erupted with Shankar-Ehsan-Loy.

    If songs are poor, then any Indian film will suffer big time if they have are burdened with the job of collecting mammoth totals. Maybe it helped Saaho to get better songs by reaching to the likes of Baadshah, Tanishk Bagchi and Guru Randhawa, as they have given a song each.

    Saaho premiers strategy for Hindi and Tamil might backfire !

    Saaho, the most eagerly awaited Indian film of the season, is set for a grand release all over the world on this 30th. Trade circles are predicting huge openings in all territories. While the advance pre sales at domestic box office are overwhelmingly impressive for all languages, the overseas bookings are solid only for the Telugu version. The response for Hindi and Tamil version is lukewarm as of now.

    The main reason for this is the high ticket pricing for the premiers. Usually, Telugu audience embrace big ticket films on premiers day irrespective of the pricing. But, Hindi audience generally watch films on Fridays only. Also, Tamil audience prefer only watching Rajinikanth and Vijay films even if the ticket prices are high and they skip other heroes films. So, due to the high ticket pricing of Tamil and Hindi versions similar to that Telugu version, the strategy might not yield the desired results because the footfalls are going to be lower than expected for these two languages. We have to wait till August 30th to see what is the overall impact of this ill-planned strategy.

    Saaho need to perform well in all languages because it was sold for exorbitant prices in all areas. Nearly 350 Crores is at stake and the film need to rake in strong revenues in the first weekend itself to enter the safe zone.

    Saaho gets positive reports from censors

    Prabhas’ multilingual behemoth Saaho is just days away for a massive release worldwide. The film, made on a whopping budget by UV Creations and directed by Sujeeth, has been making waves in audience ever since the spectacular trailers have been unveiled.     Excessive marketing is leading to rumours on Saaho and Sye Raa

    Both the films Saaho and Sye Raa are those super budgeted movies where the producers spent a mammoth without any second thought. And to take those films deep into the audiences in order to bring huge crowds to theatres in the first week, the teams of these movies are working really hard.

    Taking a cue from Bollywood stars who promote their films very aggressively, Prabhas is repeating the same for Saaho. He’s been to all the TV shows and going to different cities to talk about the film. Already he has covered Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore in that process.     “Bahubali” superstar Prabhas says he tries to sleep a lot the day before a new movie hits the screens.

    The Telugu actor revealed this while promoting his forthcoming film “Saaho” on the comic show “The Kapil Sharma Show”. Show host and comedian Kapil Sharma was curious to know about rumour that Prabhas prefers sleeping the day before his film’s release.

    “Yes, I try to sleep a lot, but I couldn’t sleep well because of tension and stress. The rumour is almost right,” said Prabhas.

    Kapil then asked Prabhas’ “Saaho” co-star Shraddha Kapoor if the rumour was true that she suffers from an indigestion issue the day before release.

    “Yes, this is true,” Shraddha quipped.

    It is official that the theatre owned by Prabhas and his friends (UV Creations) is all set to open the gates on August 30th with ‘Saaho’ as their first movie. Constructed at Sullurpeta in Nellore District, V Epiq is the name of the theatre which also has a shopping mall attached to it.

    Saaho certified U/A with a runtime of 2 hours 51 minutes

    Prabhas is all set to stun audiences on August 30th as Saaho sets for a grand release on August 30th. Here comes sweet news for fans as the film got Censored almost a week in advance, unlike many biggies.

    As expected, the Sujith Reddy directed Saaho got certified with U/A rating as there are some violent action sequences in the movie. As they are breathtaking and death-defying, the Censor Board is said to have fixed for the UA rating with some simple cuts.

    Surprisingly thing is the runtime of Saaho, as the makers tried to bring the film to 2 hours 30 minutes until the last minute with an excess 5 minutes for end-titles. But that didn’t work out it looks like, as the final certified runtime of the movie stands at 2 hours 51 minutes (171 minutes) including everything. Let’s take 5-8 minutes for the beginning credits and end rolls, so the film stands comfortably a bit over 2 hours 40 minutes of a compelling story.
