“Bahubali” superstar Prabhas says he tries to sleep a lot the day before a new movie hits the screens.

The Telugu actor revealed this while promoting his forthcoming film “Saaho” on the comic show “The Kapil Sharma Show”. Show host and comedian Kapil Sharma was curious to know about rumour that Prabhas prefers sleeping the day before his film’s release.

“Yes, I try to sleep a lot, but I couldn’t sleep well because of tension and stress. The rumour is almost right,” said Prabhas.

Kapil then asked Prabhas’ “Saaho” co-star Shraddha Kapoor if the rumour was true that she suffers from an indigestion issue the day before release.

“Yes, this is true,” Shraddha quipped.

“Saaho”, a Sujeeth directorial, is scheduled to release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on August 30.

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up for the release of the multilingual “Saaho”. The actress says that she is interested in experimenting with her roles, and that box-office number can never stop her from following her heart.

“Whether it worked at the box office or not, I am always offered different roles that are strong and well edged-out. As an actor I am always looking for something different, looking for a new challenge. I know that not all my films have worked wonders at the box-office, but that has not stopped me from experimenting,” Shraddha told IANS.

The actress, who made her debut with “Teen Patti” in 2010, has left a mark with roles is a singer in “Aashiqui 2”, a Kashmiri girl in “Haider”, a dancer in “ABCD 2”, and a real-life gangster in “Haseena Parkar”, among other roles. She has the commercial biggie “Saaho” coming up, besides “Chhichhore”.

Some of her past films such as “Ok Jaanu”, “Haseena Parkar” and “Batti Gul Meter Chalu” fared below expectations, but Shraddha’s confidence remains unfazed.

“The fate of a film is not in my hand, so numbers should not stop me from experimenting. When an actor tried avoiding formula in order to experiment, she tends to stumble. However, every time I introspect I feel it is better to go for a script that I like but is risky, than a safe script that I may do half-heartedly,” said the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor.

Shraddha, however, concedes, she is not altogether oblivious to the cold box-office response to some of her films. “Those box-office results did make me sit down and introspect. I started looking out for a better understanding of how to engage and entertain the audience, which is constantly changing,” she said.

In “Saaho”, directed by Sujeeth, Shraddha will be seen alongside Prabhas, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Manjerekar, Murli Sharma, and Chunkey Pandey among others.

The film has been shot with IMAX cameras and, given its rumoured budget of Rs 350 crore, Shraddha admits she is stressed out about how “Saaho might fare at the box-office.

“This is the first time I have worked in such a big-budget film so I am excited but nervous as well. People have huge expectations ever since the trailer was released, so I am stressed now,” said the actress.

“Saaho” opens on August 30.

“Prabhas is a huge superstar but he has the most amazing heart. I and my team were in awe of that. We had a blast,” Shraddha said.

Talking about her experience of shooting in Hyderabad, the actress said: “I will not be able to describe the experience in words. Actually, the whole team welcomed me as a part of their family. We shot this film within two years.

“In these two years, Hyderabad actually became my second home. I would look forward to going to the set every day. I would love to go there again and again because of the amount of love that I have received from them. They have been so kind to me. I felt so much at home there.”

Shraddha has back to back releases with “Saaho” hitting the theatres on August 30, and her next, “Chhichhore”, where she stars alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, releasing on September 6.

The actress sounded very happy about this, as she said: “The two movies are so different from each other and I feel lucky that I got to be a part of both.”

Even though it feels nice to see two films releasing back to back, shooting for three films at the same time was not so easy for Shraddha, the third film being “Street Dancer 3D”, where she has been paired opposite Varun Dhawan.

“I only want to say that my body is paining a lot. It has been a physically intense year for me. Street Dancer will release next year, even though we have finished shooting. I feel like relaxing a little but now the promotions (for ‘Saaho’) have started.”

Shraddha added that she is excited because she got to be a part of such amazing movies.

“‘Saaho’ is my first multi-lingual film. It is a very big thing for me to be a part of this film. I am eagerly waiting for World Saaho Day, which is on the 30th.”

“Saaho” has been directed by Sujeeth and also stars Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh in key roles. The film releases on August 30.
