Nag commences the shoot of Bangarraju

King Nagarjuna has been in talks for Bangarraju from the past two years. The project got delayed after Nag suggested several changes for the script. Kalyan Krishna is done with the script and the film got its official launch recently. The film’s shoot commenced today in Hyderabad in a special set that is constructed in Annapurna Studios. Three massive sets of Heaven, Hell and a house are constructed in the studio and most of the film’s shoot will take place in these sets.

Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna, Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty are the lead actors in Bangarraju. The film is aimed at Sankranthi 2022 release. Anup Rubens is the music composer and Annapurna Studios are the producers. Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty will join the sets of the film at a later date. Bangarraju happens to be the sequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been in plans to take up the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana after the director narrated the basic plot. The film is titled Bangarraju and Kalyan Krishna is on board as the director. The film got delayed by years as Nag wasn’t convinced with the script of the film. There are a lot of speculations too about Bangarraju. The movie got its official launch finally today and the regular shoot will commence this month.

Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna, Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty will be seen in the lead roles in Bangarraju, a family entertainer with enough twists. Zee Studios in association with Annapurna Studios are the producers. Anup Rubens is retained as the music director and Bangarraju hits the screens next year. Some of the top technicians are working for this project. Zee Studios acquired the entire rights of the film for a record price.

Nag to surprise in a dual role

King Nagarjuna is all set to commence the shoot of Bangarraju from August 20th and a massive set is constructed in Annapurna Studios for the shoot. Kalyan Krishna is the director Naga Chaitanya will be seen essaying the other lead role in this village-based entertainer. The latest news we hear, says that Nagarjuna will be seen playing a dual role as a father and son in the sequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana. Ramya Krishna and Monal Gajjar will be paired up beside Nagarjuna in the film.

The real twists will revolve around both the roles of Nagarjuna. Krithi Shetty is paired up beside Naga Chaitanya in Bangarraju. The film will complete the shooting portions and will hit the screens in summer 2021. Nagarjuna resumed the shoot of Praveen Sattaru’s action entertainer from today and he will soon join the sets of Bigg Boss 5.

Naga Chaitanya was in talks to play the other lead role in this romantic family drama. Bangarraju got delayed due to various reasons and the shoot commences next month. Naga Chaitanya signed a series of projects in this while and he has no time for Bangarraju. He is out of the project and the makers are on the hunt for the right actor to essay the other lead role.

Nag wasn’t convinced with the final draft because of which the project got delayed. The film titled Bangarraju is now back on track. Kalyan Krishna narrated the final script after making several changes as per the suggestions of Nag.

Nag is completely convinced with the final script and gave his nod. His home banner Annapurna Studios will produce Bangarraju and Naga Chaitanya would be seen in the other lead role. The project is expected to roll early next year and an official announcement about the same will be made very soon. Naga Chaitanya completed Love Story and he will join the sets of Thank You from December. The actor is expected to allocate the dates for Bangarraju next year.

King Nagarjuna is out of track and none of his recent films minted money. The actor is busy with the shoot of Wild Dog, an action thriller that will release during summer. Nag was in talks with Kalyan Krishna Kurasala for Bangarraju, the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana from the past one and a half year. The project was initially planned to roll in May 2019 and is slated for Sankranthi 2020 release. But, Bangarraju got delayed due to various reasons.

As per the latest news, the film will start rolling from April this year. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya will play the lead roles in this rural-based entertainer. Annapurna Studios are the producers and the film is aimed for January 2021 release. Nag recently heard the final draft and gave his nod. Kalyan Krishna is busy finalizing the actors, technicians and the shooting schedules are planned.

He further added that in future he is going to make a movie with Ravi Teja but the subject we discussed is completely new and it’s nothing to do with Soggade Chinni Nayana. So Akkineni fans mesmerizing character Bangarraju is always with Nag and we can expect Soggade Chinni Nayana sequel any day.

King Nagarjuna scored massive blockbusters with Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri last year. The actor has been quite focussed on the careers of Naga Chaitanya and Akhil currently. He is busy producing their movies and Chaitu’s latest outing Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam ended up as a massive hit. There are talks that Nag made enough changes for the script and he even asked the director Kalyan Krishna to re-shoot some of the episodes. Nag himself revealed that he spend days in the editing room of the film.

He now shifted focus towards Akhil’s next in the direction of Vikram Kumar. Nag is said to have kept a keen watch on the film. The actor recently returned back from a holiday and he is now set to finalize his next film. Nag wrapped up Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which has been aimed for August release. Kalyan Krishna’s Bangarraju is currently in pre-production and Nag has some interesting scripts in pipeline. His next project will be finalized in couple of weeks informed a source from Annapurna Studios.
