Naidu served notice to vacate house in view of floods

0

Authorities in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday served a notice on former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to vacate the house on the banks of Krishna river here in view of the flood situation.

With rising Krishna water threatening to inundate houses along its banks, revenue officials asked the residents to move to safer places. Officials said notices were served on 32 houses to prevent any loss of life.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and Leader of Opposition in the Andhra Assembly Chandrababu Naidu and his family members had left the house a few days ago. As nobody was available at Naidu’s house, Undavalli Village Revenue Officer (VRO) pasted the notice on its entrance.

However, leaders of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) allege that Naidu has “run away to Hyderabad since the onset of floods”.

Earlier on Friday, Naidu alleged that there was a conspiracy being hatched against him after a drone was seen hovering over his house. TDP workers staged a protest claiming that the drone was taking pictures of their party chief’s house.

Water Resources Minister P. Anil Kumar, however, clarified that the drone was deployed by the Water Resources Department to take visuals of the water and monitor the flood situation.

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had earlier alleged that Naidu was living in a house built on river bank in a violation of the River Conservancy Act and other environment norms.

In June, state authorities had served a demolition notice on Lingameneni Ramesh, from whom Naidu had taken the house on lease after he shifted here from Hyderabad in 2016.

The government also demolished Praja Vedika, a meeting hall build adjacent to Naidu’s residence.

Naidu security being compromised in every way?

0

The Telugu Desam Party cadres are in a state of shock over the way in which their leader Chandrababu Naidu is being attacked, insulted and belittled by Jagan Regime. Even Naidu might not have expected this kind of shock treatments. He served as Chief Minister for 14 years and narrowly escaped from a landmine attack once by Naxalites. Despite this, his security was reduced disproportionately amid childish arguments made by CM Jagan and Ministers. AP Opposition leader had to eventually get relief from the High Court which ordered the YCP government to restore full security.

Now, in a more childish way, YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy used private persons to fly drones over Naidu residence unauthorisedly. No prior information has been given to Naidu’s office. Now, Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav says that it was for getting an estimate over flood situation. Experts say drones are necessary to fly over places where floods are submerging canal bund houses threatening human lives and also where human beings cannot reach. There was no such immediate threat at Naidu residence.

Interestingly, CM Jagan, all Ministers and local MLAs are talking the same litigant, childish language being used by Mangalagiri MLA. This MLA has talked a lot on removing 70 illegal structures in Krishna Karakatta including multi-storeyed buildings of Mantena Satyanarayana Raju Ashram. Not a single brick could be removed till now. What a waste of time of Telugu community on such unproductive issues being projected by YCP day in and day out!

Chandrababu fires on DGP over drone incident?

0

Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu called up DGP Gautham Sawang and expressed his disappointment over breach of security at his residence in Krishna Karakatta. Naidu asked whether the drone cameras were used over his residence without permission from the DGP or the government. How can private persons enter into the high security zone and begin flying drones to capture videos of the surroundings?

Naidu asked DGP whether this does not compromise his security and safety. He asked DGP to give him full details of who has ordered this drone recording. Naidu also demanded to know the identities of the drone operators, their masters and the overall conspiracy behind this.

Reports say that Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has visited Naidu residence surroundings in early morning hours itself. After that, the drone mission has started. The drone operators have taken aerial videos of Independence Day celebrations addressed by CM Jagan yesterday. The secret coverage of Naidu residence is suspected to be part of the package. The operators initially told security at Naidu house that one Kiran in CM camp office has asked them to do this.

AP flood politics crossing danger mark?

1

There is no doubt that the ruling YCP leaders have spread baseless and illogical rumours over floodwaters entering Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Krishna river bank. The fact is that such a situation will arise only in extraordinary circumstances when an unusual flood occurs. There is no immediate such threat as per flood estimates.
On the other hand, TDP leaders alleged that YCP leaders deliberately forced officials to keep flood gates closed at Prakasam barrage so that floodwaters will enter Naidu residence. This is part of YCP’s obsessive politics to get Naidu family evacuated from his present residence. This is also an indefensible argument. Huge floods occurred in the past but that had not led to the permanent evacuation of residents from Karakatta buildings including Mantena Satyanarayana Raju Ashram which has hundreds of rooms in multi-storeyed buildings there.

YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy worsened the situation with his Tweets saying that Chandrababu had shifted his family to Hyderabad because of flooding of his residence in Karakatta. Analysts say that the YCP leaders are using even floods to provoke and embarrass Opposition. The ruling party leaders are forgetting the fact that the government should be solely preoccupied with flood relief activities to reduce human misery. Because of their flood politics, now rumours are circulating that only after Centre brought pressure that state officials released floodwaters from Prakasam barrage. Is it not alarming?

High Court order on Chandrababu security

0

The AP High Court ordered the State government to provide comprehensive security with 97 force for Ex Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Justice Durga Prasada Rao gave the order after hearing arguments from both sides on the petition filed by Chandrababu seeking restoration of full security to him. The court also ordered that a jammer be provided in the Opposition leader’s convoy for enhanced security.

The court gave three months time to the National Security Guards (NSG) and the State police to come to an understanding on the issue as to who should provide Close Security Team services. As part of the CST, 5 plus 2 security should be provided to Naidu. The government should continue one Chief Security Officer.

The Jagan Reddy government reduced security cover for Naidu on the plea that there is no need for the same. But the TDP President argued that he required continuation of higher security in view of the threat perception. Naidu has served as Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh as well. He was also on the hit list of Maoists once. As the residual Andhra Pradesh’s first Chief Minister, Naidu has served five years and taken many crucial decisions like selection of new Capital City, etc.

Tech-savvy Naidu red-faced over fake post

0

Posting a picture on social media without verifying its authenticity landed tech-savvy N. Chandrababu Naidu in an embarrassment as the trolls forced him to delete his tweet.

The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister on Aug 8 tagged two pictures of Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers along with his tweet. One picture shows ASHA workers giving milk bath to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy while in the second picture, they were seen holding a ‘mock funeral’ of the government to lodge their protest.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief commented in Telugu that this is what happens when one fails to keep his word. He was referring to Jagan Reddy’s promise to hike salaries of ASHA workers from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000.

However, the photograph of the protest turned out to be of 2015 and that too from neighbouring Telangana state.

Netizens, mostly followers of ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), began trolling him for posting a fake photo. The leader of opposition deleted the tweet on Saturday.

However, the YSRCP slammed Naidu for what it calls spreading canard against the government. YSRCP spokesman Ambati Rambabu said Naidu’s tweet on ASHA workers was juxtaposed with two different contexts and timelines.

He said Naidu’s comment was uncalled for as the government already enhanced the salaries of ASHA workers.

The YSRCP also lashed out at Naidu for commenting that people rejected the TDP, which was a milch cow for them. Rambabu said the overwhelming mandate for YSRCP proved whether TDP government was milch cow or a leech that suck people’s blood.

Vijayasai fires on Chandrababu buffalo comment

1

YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy has asked TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu to remember his past history instead of passing objectionable comments on the Jaganmohan Reddy government. The MP said that Chandrababu Circar badly misused the AP treasury which was like a milk giving cow. Vijayasai recalled how Prime Minister Modi himself accused the TDP leaders of having used Polavaram project as an ATM machine to draw illegal funds from the contractors.

The YCP MP was greatly alarmed over Naidu’s comment describing Jagan Circar as a kicking he-buffalo which doesn’t give milk. Vijayasai warned Naidu to wait and see how the YCP regime would unearth his wrong doings and give him exemplary punishment.

Vijayasai said mockingly that Naidu has sent his 4 MPs into the BJP only to escape from his past cases. But still Naidu is afraid of his future. The YCP MP said that YSR himself got all clearances and prepared everything for Polavaram which should have been completed in just 3 years time. But Naidu wasted all the time and used the project like an ATM.

Naidu’s comment triggers a political storm

1

It’s only two months that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has completed in office after winning massive victory. But rival parties have already begun all-round attack. TDP boss has gone a step ahead and commented that Jagan Circar is like a he-buffalo which cannot give milk but only kicks the people. The remark kicked off a heated political debate.

There are opinions why Naidu has made such hasty remarks instead of giving some more time for Jagan Circar to perform and show results. Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has said that he would wait for one full year to watch and then fully react. However, BJP and TDP already started criticism. Analysts say that due to lack of experience, Jagan’s has made enough self-goals which rival parties are unwilling to let go.

Naidu has sensed the already anti-YCP government feelings building up steadily all over the state. The poorer sections of people are also unhappy over collapse of construction industry with which all other sectors are badly hit. There’s a labour and job crisis in Andhra now. Jagan is facing criticism on sand, liquor and Anna Canteens. TDP has cleverly taken a calculated risk to start an early all out attack and put pressure on Jagan Circar.

Chandrababu fires on Jagan over funds, Amaravati, etc

0

Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu intensified his criticism against the Jagan Reddy government over the CM’s meeting with PM Modi. Naidu wondered why Jagan is blaming him instead of asking and getting funds from Modi. Out of sheer rivalry with Naidu and his TDP, Jagan Circar has stopped Amaravati Capital City altogether. It has no plans or intentions to build the Capital for Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu said that he still couldn’t understand why people gave such a massive defeat to TDP. It is clear now that the voters have chosen a beating he-buffalo in place of a milk-giving cow. The YCP government has no pro-people policies. CM Jagan is encouraging his partymen to create anarchy. The YCP leaders have taken mafia control over sand supply leading to tractor load cost at Rs 10,000.

Naidu told TDP activists to get ready to file private cases in courts if the ruling party leaders continue to harass them with false cases. Jagan has made a technical mistake by asking for Reorganization demands instead of immediate release of Central funds.

Krishnam Raju sensational comments: CBN will be arrested soon

1

Rebel star and BJP leader Krishnam Raju made sensational comments on TDP supremo and former CM Chandra Babu Naidu. He commented that, Chandra Babu Naidu will be arrested soon.

He recently came to Bhimavaram to participate in the membership drive of BJP. He commented that in west Godavari alone, 2 lakh voters are going to register into BJP. He also added that many leaders of other parties also planning to join BJP. Then he spoke indirectly about CBN. He told, CBN cheated people by promoting center’s programs as his programs. He opined, Chandra Babu should have maintained cordial relations with center. He added, CBN tried to get sympathy before elections by saying center is planning to arrest him and now his words are coming true soon. Even a small snake should be killed using a big stick, he remarked.

Krishnam Raju’s comments became a topic of debate and people are wondering whether BJP is planning to really arrest CBN to strengthen BJP in state. Some others opine, these BJP leaders are simply making these comments so that their membership drive program gets some publicity in media. We have to wait and see whether there is any truth in Krishhnam Raju’s comments.

Chandrababu trying hard to convince his party leaders

0

After getting success in Karnataka, the BJP has been trying to gain strength in the other southern states like Andhra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The TDP in AP is facing lot of crisis because of all out efforts by the BJP to win over its leaders and cadres. This has forced the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu to convince his party leaders not to look towards other parties. There is field level feedback on the BJP’s chances in Andhra in the coming days. It’s felt that the political and cultural aspects of Andhra are much different from Karnataka.

Because of such socio-economic situations, the BJP would not be able to establish domination in Andhra and majority southern states. Chandrababu Naidu tells his party leaders not to worry about the BJP as far as AP is concerned. The present political conditions appear to give a chance but the BJP will not have a big scope to impress the masses to win over committed vote banks. Even going by caste polarisation, the BJP has very little chance to get solid support of any single caste in Andhra.

CAG showers praise on Naidu brainchild RTGS

0

CM Jaganmohan Reddy is trying every trick to erase Chandrababu stamp from governance but he is not able to do anything to one system which is Real Time Governance Society. The RTGS located at the Secretariat was also developed and built by Chandrababu. This system is now being used by Jaganmohan Reddy government to monitor and ensure strict implementation of the ‘Navaratnalu’ manifesto. A team of senior officials from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India visited the RTGS and took a keen look at itsv overall functioning.

The CAG officials were all praise for the way in which the Jagan Reddy government is using RTGS to ensure transparency in implementation of welfare programmes. This has triggered discussions among the officials in the Secretariat that one day such undue attention will certainly prove to be a bane for the RTGS. Everybody knows how Jagan is bringing down what has been built by Chandrababu. Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam has brought back IAS officer Ahmad Babu as Chief Executive Officer of RTGS but the pro-YCP coterie in the Secretariat is hell bent on tarnishing him as he was one of those favourite IAS officers in Naidu administration.

Jagan doing Pulivendula style settlements in Amaravati?

0

What are the reasons for the collapse of all systems in Amaravati Capital City? Why have the real estate values touched the rock bottom? The TDP is making fresh allegations that the ruling YCP leaders are deliberately destroying the image of the Capital City only to shake the confidence of property and land owners there. The YCP leaders are thinking that the total value of lands in Amaravati surroundings would be anywhere above Rs 2 Lakh Crore. These values came down by 50 to 60 per cent because of the ruling party’s anti-Amaravati stand.

Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu told the media that CM Jaganmohan Reddy is trying to do Pulivendula style settlements in the Capital City area but his plans are not working. Naidu told the media that Jagan’s evil plans may work in Pulivendula and Kadapa but not in Amaravati and other places in the state. The ruling party leaders are setting their sights on grabbing lands by creating panic and fear. Against this backdrop, the land owners of Amaravati are now putting all their hopes on Naidu to ensure justice to them.

YCP MLAs mock at Naidu’s foreign tour spendings

0

Heated discussions took place on the issue of huge spendings made on the foreign tours made by Chandrababu Naidu during his tenure as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. A YCP member raised the issue to which Minister Gowtham Reddy informed the House that Rs. 39 cr were spent on Naidu’s foreign tours. Then the YCP MLAs began making mocking statements and asked whether that had helped the state in any manner.

At one point of time, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy commented that CMs from no other state in the country had made such huge spendings like Naidu on their foreign tours. The Minister made interesting comments that though no such tours were taken up by CMs of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra, the IT industry has developed by leaps and bounds there. Whereas, there is no such result in Andhra.

The TDP MLAs said that the YCP made it a single point programme to blame Naidu on everything. Oppostion leader Chandrababu himself took objection to the ruling party leaders saying that nearly 5 lakh jobs were created in IT and other sectors because of companies that came on account of his foreign tours. Naidu asked the YCP government to specify what it is going to do for job creation rather than blindly attacking the TDP for everything.

Kesineni Nani ultimatum to Chandrababu Naidu

The war of words within between MP Kesineni Nani and MLC Buddha Venkanna has reached a point of no return. It even went to the extent of Nani giving an ultimatum to none other than the party boss Chandrababu Naidu. The MP said that it’s high time for Naidu to decide between sensible leaders like himself and those who behave like pet dogs. TDP leaders are unhappy with Nani. They say that he could as well have discussed the matter with Chandrababu to settle the issue within the party forum.

A general feeling is prevailing that Nani is giving trouble to the party leadership at a very difficult time. In his latest tweet, Nani asked Naidu to control his pet dogs. He said that he would not hesitate to resign from the party membership and even from Lok Sabha membership if Naidu doesn’t want people like him. Nani’s frustration is clearly evident this time. Right from the day TDP was defeated, Nani has been expressing his dissatisfaction at the party leadership. At one time, Naidu called and convinced Nani. This time, the MP has made really serious allegations against his rivals within the party. Can Naidu afford to take action as he got only three MPs?
