Chandrababu letter to Jagan on rural labourers distress

0

The Jaganmohan Reddy government has stopped paying bills towards works completed under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS). It has resulted in non-payment of coolie to lakhs of rural labourers all over the state. Now, Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu wrote an open letter to CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy to immediately release the funds required for full and final payment to these labourers.

Naidu deplored that the rural agricultural workers are facing an unusual crisis due to the vague and anti-labourers policies of the government. He wondered why Jagan regime is not at all passing on the benefits of rural employment guarantee scheme to the poorer sections.

Naidu advised the YCP government to change its priorities from its present drive for demolitions, destructions and devastation. Because of political vendetta, the Krishna floods devastated residents of riverside villages. Quite alarmingly, rural poor people are not able to find enough works. It’s time Jagan opens his eyes to the ground reality.

Chandrababu targets IAS officials over PPAs

0

It is well known that the Modi government at the Centre has given a clean chit to Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu over PPAs. Union Minister RK Singh has clearly said that there were no irregularities committed in Naidu regime. This has proved allegations by Jagan Circar totally wrong. But now instead of targeting CM Jaganmohan Reddy over these PPAs, Chandrababu Naidu has now started demanding serious action against three IAS officers responsible for this.

According to Naidu’s information, Retired IAS Ajay Kallam Reddy and current IAS officers PV Ramesh and Nagulapalli Srikanth have obviously provided false information with regard to PPAs. In their reports, these officials have said that serious irregularities took place in PPAs. They even held a press conference and announced that the government would take criminal action against the previous TDP regime.

Chandrababu further cautioned the IAS officers against blindly going by the orders of CM Jaganmohan Reddy as it would get them implicated in cases like before. Even the CM would not be able to protect them when cases come up in future. Naidu recalled how scores of IAS officers faced jail and are still facing CBI cases. Unfortunately, officers accused in CBI cases are being taken in key positions in Jagan Regime. Their only task is to remove all evidence and such documents from official records relating to Jagan CBI cases.

Who is cheating farmers more – Naidu or Jagan?

3

In 2014, Nara Chandrababu Naidu came to power by promising loan waiver to farmers. He implemented that promise very half-heartedly. Restrictions were imposed. Loan waiver was limited up to only Rs. 1.5 lakh. The overall burden came down to Rs. 24,000 cr but Naidu did not waive this at once. He only paid three installments but left two installments (about Rs. 8,000 cr) pending in the last two years of his regime. He chose his own political convenience and diverted these funds for schemes like Pasupu Kumkuma women scheme and Annadata Sukheebhava. Consequently, his pre-election schemes did not create any additional vote bank while Naidu also lost trust of the farmers who felt cheated regarding loan waiver.

In 2019, YS Jaganmohan Reddy came to power by promising all-round welfare to all sections of society, right from farmers to poor women to youth. His rule in the last four months revealed how political vendetta is more important than farmers’ welfare for the present government. Jagan is not paying the two farm loan waiver installments to the farmers. His government asks why should it pay something for which Naidu is responsible? If that is the case, analysts are asking Jagan why he is using the same Secretariat built by Naidu in Amaravati. Why is Jagan sitting even in the same CM chair that once Naidu adorned? It is clear now that Jagan is doing greater harm to farmers. Questions are being asked whether Andhra farmers have no choice but to get deeper into debts and commit suicides finally.

HC case against demolition of Naidu house

0

The Jaganmohan Reddy government has temporarily stalled demolition of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Undavalli. This is following a petition filed by house owner Lingamaneni Ramesh before the AP High Court. He produced permissions and other documents given by the local panchayat and also the Krishna river conservator for the house construction.

These documents were already submitted to the Commissioner of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). The Commissioner however rejected the documents as valid. He issued notices for demolishing the ground, first floors, swimming pool and dressing room of Naidu residence. On his part, Lingamaneni has decided to fight the court battle against Jagan Circar. He has especially taken it as a personal issue after YCP leaders spread rumours that he is a benami of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

CRDA Chairman Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has been on a mission to spread misinformation and get Naidu house demolished.

Jagan’s demolition drive reaches Naidu’s doorstep

0

Civic authorities in Andhra Pradesh capital city of Amaravati on Monday started demolishing unauthorized constructions on the banks of Krishna river, in a clear indication that their next target could be the residence of former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) officials razed unauthorized construction belonging to a TDP leader near Naidu’s residence in Vundavalli village.

The workers dismantled the cement ramp amid tight security. APCRDA officials said the TDP leader P. Koteswara Rao had constructed the building in the river bed in violation of rules and regulations.

The construction was without any prior permission from competent authority and from River Conservator as per River Conservancy Act (Andhra Area) 1884, APCRDA said.

Monday’s development came two days after Naidu’s residence was served fresh demolition notice.

An order dated September 19 but pasted on September 21 has asked Lingamaneni Ramesh to remove the unauthorized construction within seven days, failing which APCRDA will remove the same.

The house owner was issued a show-cause notice on June 27. The latest order mentioned that the reply submitted to the notice was not to the satisfaction of the authority.

According to APCRDA, provisional notices were issued for 24 unauthorized constructions along the river. ‘Confirmation orders’ were issued in respect of five constructions as Authority found that there is no merit in any of the grounds mentioned in the explanation by the owners.

“For remaining 19 constructions, the explanation submitted are under examination in which 5 cases need to be disposed complying the High Court Orders,” it said.

The Authority made it clear that strict enforcement action on unauthorized constructions in Krishna river bed as per APCRDA Act will be taken.

Praja Vedika, a government building adjacent to Naidu’s residence, was demolished in June, a month after Jagan Mohan Reddy government took reins of the power following TDP’s defeat in the elections.

Naidu had been living in the house on lease since he shifted here from Hyderabad in 2016. As the then chief minister, he got Praja Vedika built adjacent to the house.

Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged that Naidu himself is living in an illegal house.

TDP, however, alleged that government was acting with political vendetta.

Jagan ultimate sketch to demolish Naidu residence

0

YCP Regime is more and more unstoppable after successfully hunting down Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Ruling party leaders are celebrating that Kodela suicide has significantly shaken the morale of TDP leaders. Now, AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has begun focusing on his old obsession to demolish the Chandrababu Naidu residence on Krishna Karakatta.

For this, a grand sketch is prepared to demolish four small buildings along with Naidu house. The smart move is obviously to make an impression that there is no discrimination against Naidu. Why only four buildings when there are nearly 70 illegal buildings? Surprisingly, permissions for all these riverside buildings were given during the ‘most corrupt’ government of Jagan father YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Analysts say that this time, Jagan is expected to blindly go ahead with demolition of Chandrababu residence. A big political sensation is immediately needed to divert public attention from Kodela suicide, Polavaram scam, welfare collapse, etc. Jagan is using all his smartness for demolitions, police cases, court litigations, vindictive politics, vicious propaganda and communal divides.

Demolition notices to Naidu residence

0

Quite unexpectedly, the YCP government has started making serious efforts once again to drive Ex CM N Chandrababu Naidu out of his present riverside Karakatta residence at Undavalli village limits in Amaravati capital city area. The officials have just pasted fresh notices at Naidu’s residence. These notices were given in the name of building owner Lingamaneni Ramesh. The officials made references to the previous notices also.

The CRDA officials gave one week’s deadline for Naidu to vacate. Otherwise, it will take up demolition of the structure. The latest notice indicated the definitely steps the government is going to take for demolition. It is being taken as a prestigious issue for YCP to send TDP boss out of Amaravati area.

It’s not yet clear whether Jagan Regime will issue similar demolition notices to 70 other illegal buildings in Karakatta area. These buildings include those of Mantena Satyanarayana Raju, BJP leader Gokaraju Ganga Raju, Iskcon, etc.

Jagan policy crippling Polavaram project: Naidu

0

TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu accused the Jagan Reddy government of going ahead blindly with its re-tendering on the complex Polavaram project based on the report of Jagan relative Raymond Peter. Latest reports say that YCP Regime is completing re-tendering process despite negative observations from the High Court as well as the Central Government. Naidu deplored that Jagan’s adamant policy will cause further delay in project completion and the cost of the project will also increase by several times.

Naidu alleged that the safety of Polavaram is also in danger as the company without any technical expertise is getting the works contract now. The re-tendering is purely designed to give the contract works only to the specific company as per the wishes of CM Jaganmohan Reddy. Polavaram will have to withstand 55 lakh cusecs water flow. Naidu said that if works are not done carefully, the safety of the dam and that of the people will be endangered. No other state in the country went for re-tendering on a huge irrigation project like Polavaram.

Naidu complains to AP Governor: Kodela suicide

0

TDP boss N Chandrababu Naidu met and appealed to AP Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to take action against the Jaganmohan Reddy government for abetting the suicide of former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Naidu submitted the documents and details of false cases filed by the ruling YCP leaders, Assembly Secretary and AP Police. He told Governor that Jagan Regime and Sakshi media have been indulging in character assassination against rival leaders.
Naidu said that Kodela was a senior leader who served as Assembly Speaker for five years, as MLA for 30 years and as Minister for 12 years. Despite his political seniority, the non-bailable cases under section 409 of IPC were filed against Kodela. Governor assured to take possible action within his powers.

Naidu is taking forward his agitation. Private cases are being filed against the police officers and AP Police Officers Association for causing death of Kodela. Cases will also be filed against MP Vijayasai Reddy and other leaders for causing mental agony leading to Kodela suicide.

Why YCP calls Naidu untrustworthy? Kodela issue

0

YCP Ministers, MLAs and spokespersons are talking about trust and mistrust in politics now. They came out with a new theory that former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao has committed suicide after he lost trust in his party president Chandrababu Naidu. YCP leaders say that Kodela could not bear the fact that Naidu has cheated him. In his hour of crisis, Naidu has not cared to give confidence to Kodela which is why the former Speaker has eventually hanged himself.

This is the argument being put forth by MLA RK Roja and all others. The YCP leaders are desperately trying to divert attention of the public from immediate reasons behind Kodela suicide. At the same time, they are highlighting trustworthiness of CM Jagan when compared to Naidu. They are portraying Naidu as an untrustworthy leader who doesn’t give vital support when needed to those who trust in him.

From the beginning, YCP leaders are talking about the credibility of Jaganmohan Reddy leadership. The YCP boss never lets down his party leaders and activists regardless of their omissions and commissions. This is the same confidence with which local YCP leaders colluded with the police and filed over 19 cases against Kodela. Jagan didn’t intervene in the matter. From constable to DGP, everybody harassed him in the name of investigations. Now, after Kodela ended his life, Jagan became graceful enough to give state honours to the last rites of former Speaker.

Roja crosses all limits to insult Pawan

1

YCP MLA and lady firebrand Roja is showing her gratitude to CM Jagan for giving her Chairperson post of APIIC, which plays a crucial role in the so called controversial Special Economic Zones. She is now competing with other YCP leaders in launching a bitter attack on Jana Sena Pawan Kalyan’s humiliating bare-all report on 100-day rule. Till now, Chandrababu Naidu used paid artists to attack Jagan Sarkar but even Pawan has begun criticising YCP finally. Her indirect remarks are obvious that Senani is no better than paid artists.

Not stopping at that, Roja crossed another limit asking whether Pawan Kalyan is still receiving packages from the TDP boss just like during the 2019 election campaign. YCP MPs and MLAs are firing full blast on Pawan indicating how much they were embarrassed by Senani’s sensational and shocking report on 100-days of inexperience, misgovernance and demolitions. Vijayasai Reddy has also tweeted indirectly saying Pawan has no moral right to comment on sand policy as Senani’s Mangalagiri office building was constructed

Jagan brute majority failing before 40 years industry

1

Chandrababu Naidu suffered a humiliating defeat in the hands of a much younger Jaganmohan Reddy. Political pundits and Sakshi media had written about the end of Chandrababu career. They commented on the collapse of TDP as a whole. But, in just 100 days, the scene has reversed dramatically. No other CM got so much negative image as Jagan did in 100 days. Multi-crore projects stopped, systems collapsed and lakhs of construction workers were thrown out of job.

On the other hand, TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu took advantage and made a strong comeback. YCP used to mock at Naidu’s 40 years industry not helping him in election to get decent number of MLAs. Now, that same experience proved to be his asset. Naidu began agitating against Jagan in the first month itself after demolition of Praja Vedika and stopping of Amaravati and Polavaram works. He intensified his attack during floods in Krishna and Godavari. There was criticism that Naidu was not giving enough time for young CM.

Naidu’s fighting spirit motivated TDP cadres who responded overwhelmingly to Chalo Atmakur call. For the first time, the national media also began attacking Jagan policies. No doubt, TDP made a quick recovery against many odds.

‘Chalo Atmakur’ breathes new life into TDP camp

1

In a day of swift developments, the TDP scored a big victory while CM Jagan had to surrender to all-round pressure from the Opposition parties and the media. The house arrest of Chandrababu Naidu proved to be a tactical blunder. A shrewd politician with 40 years industry, Naidu turned the crisis into opportunity and exposed Jagan’s inexperience very spectacularly.

Naidu’s decision to continue his protest from the entrance gate of his residence grabbed national attention. It boosted the morale of otherwise demotivated TDP leaders many of whom are thinking of quitting the party. For example, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani is not active for several weeks but now he too came out on to the roads to join the protest.

Former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya, Telugu Yuvatha President Devineni Avinash and other leaders have become very active today. The day brought more cheer to the TDP camp as the entire Opposition took strong objection to the house arrests and false cases. What looked a losing struggle suddenly turned into a big victory for Chandrababu Naidu. The YCP MLAs efforts to hit back became a total disaster.

Devulapalli Amar fails as national media highlights Naidu

0

The NDTV, Times of India and other national media groups gave extensive coverage of TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu’s house arrest and his subsequent dharna in car at the entrance gate of his Amaravati residence. The unusual coverage given to the opposition protests gave a big blow to the Jaganmohan Reddy government. Following blow-up of the issue at national level, AP has to step down on its adamant stand. Immediately, the police started taking damage control steps by shifting the Palnadu victims to their villages.

All this is seen as the failure of Sakshi TV senior journalist Devulapalli Amar as the AP Government’s National Media Coordinator. Amar could not send the government’s version effectively in the national media while the whole nation projected TDP victims issue prominently. Even some regional media in North India gave coverage.

Amar has lot of contacts in Delhi media but that could not help Jagan Circar in any way. Is he working in Delhi at all? Or is he still working for Sakshi alone? There are already allegations that Sakshi journalists are being paid from the AP government’s funds in the name of outsourced employees. Has Amar’s failure proved this point right?

Chandrababu house arrest: Palnadu rising tensions

0

Amid rising tensions in Guntur district, the AP Police placed TDP boss and Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu under house arrest at his Undavalli residence. Large number of police descended at Naidu’s house and blocked him from going to the ‘Chalo Atmakur’ protest. Hitting back at the ruling YCP, Chandrababu sat over a hunger strike in his own house. House arrest took the TDP leaders by surprise as they have never done like this in the past.

During his regime, Chandrababu did not put this kind of undemocratic restrictions on Jaganmohan Reddy’s movement. In Telangana, CM KCR has not permitted rival Congress leaders to take up ‘Padayatras’ anywhere in the state. But, in AP, Chandrababu freely allowed Jagan to take up his marathon ‘Padayatra’ without putting any political restrictions. It was during this Padayatra that Jagan propagated his long list of promises to whoever met him at that time.

TDP leaders say that Naidu’s house arrest shows how worried is the Jaganmohan Reddy government over the present political situation in Palnadu region. Is Jagan afraid of the consequences if Chandrababu leads victims’ families back to their villages? Shy is he not controlling his party leaders? Instead of allaying fears of victims, the YCP is complicating it further. Nara Lokesh said that this is another example of how Jaganmohan Reddy is not changing and still behaving like a Tughlaq ruler.

AP voters are wishing for ‘Reverse Elections’: Naidu

0

The Telugu Desam Party has been severely criticising what it describes as the Reverse Rule of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The people are badly embarrassed with the reverse administration of the YCP government. Now, AP Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu went a step ahead and said that the AP voters were so much dissatisfied with Jagan misrule that they are wishing strongly for Reverse Elections in the state as early as possible.

In the normal course, reverse election would not be possible as Indian democracy has no facilities like ‘recall’ to oust an intolerable ruler. But Chandrababu hopes that it would now come in the form of Jamili Election in just three years from now. TDP boss is already giving an indirect call to the voters to agitate and get ready to throw Jagan out of power.

In a very strong language, Naidu said that Jagan’s is the most criminalized and uncivilized regime ever in the history of the country. He called upon the TDP Legal Cell and advocates to come and help the victims of YCP attacks.

It’s 100 days reverse rule, says Chandrababu

0

Opposition leader and TDP boss N Chandrababu Naidu has launched an all-out attack on the 100 days rule of the Jaganmohan Reddy government. He asked whether CM Jagan has fulfilled one single promise properly. The ruling YCP leaders whiled away their time all these 100 days creating confusion, reversing governance, harassing opposition parties, demolishing buildings and demoralising the administration machinery at every level.

The failures of Jagan reverse rule listed out by Chandrababu are as follows:

1. Jagan said that he would make the Centre bow before him and give Special Status if YCP wins 25 MP seats. YCP won 23 MP seats but Jagan could not do anything about it till now.
2. CM talked a lot on ‘Sanna Biyyam’ (polished rice) but it is not being given to white card holders so far.
3. YCP not speaking on giving pensions to the people aged above 45 years.
4. Old pensions increased by just Rs. 250 as against promise of Rs. 1,000.
5. YCP handed over AP property in Hyderabad to Telangana government but not asking and getting hundreds of crores funds that are due to Andhra.
6. Jagan spoke of transparency in sand policy but now YCP leaders took control like a sand mafia.
7. Housing projects for poor people are cancelled. Jagan has palaces in every city but he does nothing for poor families.
8. Amaravati would have become a big asset for AP state but Jagan has killed the Capital City with no clear alternative plan.
9. YCP stopped Polavaram project works in the name of corruption and got it stuck in court cases.
10. YCP leaders killed 8 TDP leaders so far, attacked 196 activists and continued harassing rival leaders.

What did the YCP Regime do with Rs 18 lakh?

1

As much as Rs. 18 lakh public fund was released to celebrate Telugu Language Day. But no official function was held anywhere either in Amaravati Capital City area or in Vijayawada. Neither Chief Minister nor Ministers took part anywhere. Raising this issue in twitter, Opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu asked what did the government do with those funds. Why not a single garland was presented at Telugu Talli statue to mark the occasion? It seems nobody has interest in this government to do this traditional honour.

Naidu has been criticising the Jagan Reddy government in every aspect on twitter these days. Already, he has made scathing attacks on sand scarcity, Amaravati, Polavaram, etc. Now, Naidu’s target has begun at micro level also. He questioned the government on the issue of Rs. 18 lakh very harshly. The amount was released but there was no activity conducted officially to spend this amount.

The TDP boss has also expressed concern that the song ‘Maa Telugu Talliki Malle Poodanda’ is not being heard at any official function. This is so ever since the present government came to power in the state. Naidu asked what is happening to all those Telugu cultural traditions and conventions in this State under the Jagan Reddy government. Is there nobody to honour and respect the long established traditions?

YCP submerged poor people’s houses: Naidu

0

The ruling YCP leaders have criticised TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu for running away to Hyderabad when his Amaravati residence is submerged by waters. TDP leaders countered YCP saying that Naidu suffered injuries in his hand which is why he is taking rest. TDP mockingly asked whether Naidu should instruct Collectors and officials to help flood victims while CM Jaganmohan Reddy doesn’t bother and goes on a personal trip to admit his daughter in American university.

As the mutual allegations continued, Chandrababu arrived in Vijayawada and visited flood affected areas for the first time after Krishna river is in spate. He enquired about facilities provided to flood victims in Gitanagar, Tarakarama Nagar and Bhupesh Gupta Nagar along the river bund.

Naidu addressed the poor residents and told them that the Jagan government tried to submerge his residence in flood waters but instead they submerged poor people’s houses. Naidu mocked that the YCP Ministers and MLAs are doing circumabulations around his house rather than providing relief and food packets to flood victims. Naidu told the poor residents that they would have eaten good food at Anna Canteens if CM Jagan had not closed them now. No support has been given to flood victims who are facing these problems because of a flood caused by the government’s negligence and vindictiveness.
