The Kapu caste vote bank is not giving 100 per cent support to Jana Sena. Pawan Kalyan’s impractical decisions are eroding trust that his longtime sympathisers have put in his ideology. Knowing full with the decreased support base of Left parties, he tied up with them. Now he has brought in BSP as another partner.

Analysts say that these decisions point to the Jana Senani’s lack of a proper game plan to put together or be part of a winning alliance. This is traditionally against the spirit of the Kapu vote bank behaviour. Prior to 2009, the Kapus were the deciding factor mostly for the winning parties in United AP. Whenever they have won, the TDP and the Congress depended heavily on Kapu voters. This has increased chances for the community to have good lobbying power regardless of the party in power.

For sure, the tie-up with BSP is backfiring on Pawan Kalyan now. In his own native Godavari districts, there’s poor response to the alliance. There’s a traditional clash between Kapus and the SCs there. This is not changing despite Pawan’s efforts to alter the political scene.

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has released 2nd list of candidates of yesterday. So far he has announced 64 MLA candidates and 9 MP candidates. The way he is committing on his word , giving tickets to youngsters and those who involved in social activities is really applauded by many, especially among young generation. One of the main reasons for PRP failure is too much dependence on defected leaders from other parties. Some analysts expected that Janasena also may follow the same path and give tickets to defected leaders. But those who analyzed tickets given by Pawan got surprised as he stick to his word of clean politics.

Pawan gave Ichchapuram MLA ticket to Dasari Raju, who extensively worked on Uddhanam issue, conducted workshops and camps and personally helped the patients of Uddhanam. Similarly, Eluru MP ticket is given to Pentapati Pulla Rao, journalist and environmental activist who worked extensively for farmers rehabilitated due to Polavaram project. For Amalapuram MP constituency also, he preferred DMR Shekhar who worked in ONGC as asset manager over former MP Harsha Kumar, who was willing to join Janasena. It is learnt that this ONGC manager helped hundreds of SC youngsters get jobs. Yemmiganur ticket is given to Rekha gowd, member of “Janasena Veera Mahila”. She has been working bravely in Kurnool district and helping women in their legal battles. Though very young, she demonstrated bravery to go to police stations even at midnight when the victims came to her doorsteps. CBI former JD Lakshmi Narayana also has very clean image even during his service despite handling very high profile cases. Moreover, many of the candidates do not have money power to contest the elections and still Pawan gave them tickets without taking a single penny from them, not even for party fund..

How many of these win and how many of these lose is a separate question given the current political conditions in the country where money is playing key role.. But Pawan’s honesty needs to be definitely appreciated. Of course most of the media, that debates about criminalization of politics, increasing influence of money in elections – is not at all showing any news of Janasena giving tickets to good candidates. Forget about appreciating Janasena’s honest politics, they are not even scrolling about the same.

We will have to wait and see what kind of impact Janasena will make in AP in 2019 elections.

Hyderabad: After joining the Jana Sena party, speculation is rife over potential constituency for the former CBI Joint Director VV Laxminarayana, who’s popularly known as JD Laxminarayana. The former CBI JD is in full praises for the way the party manifesto has been designed.

“We had discussions for long hours over several issues. The youth is full of positive energy and if the government shows them a path, the country will prosper. The manifesto designed by Jana Sena party is towards this goal as it addresses several the problems of all the sections of the society. It’s not easy to prepare such a manifesto. I can understand how much brainstorming and how many hours of effort gone into the development of manifesto. Coming to my constituency, from where I’ll contest, I leave this to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. He’ll decide my place of contesting,” said Laxminarayana.

The former CBI JD further said that he observed three characteristics of Pawan Kalyan and they’re knowledge, courage and public support.

“From today onwards, I’ll work like a soldier for Jana Sena. I have joined Jana Sena for bringing a qualitative change in the society. The alliance with Left parties and BSP will further enable Jana Sena to make inroads into deep pockets of Andhra Pradesh,” maintained Laxminarayana.

Ruling out the criticism made by YSRCP, Laxminarayana said that he’s been sincere throughout his career and the cases he dealt with indicate his commitment and courage in fulfilling his responsibilities.

One commercial ad that clicked in big way in recent times is of Lalitha Jewellery ad. The ad in which the owner of Lalitha Jewellery advises people to check 3 – 4 shops before taking final decision of buying any sort of jewellery is liked by many people from middle class. But this advertisement is being referred by many people in political circles nowadays.

In his speech Pawan Kalyan yesterday mentioned this ad indirectly and asked people to verify the credentials of all the 3 – 4 candidates contesting in their constituency and take final decision on whom to vote. Pawan mentioning that ad received huge response from the audience.

The same as was also used to troll comedian Ali couple of days back when he joined YSRCP . It is known news that, comedian Ali had meeting with the leaders of all the three major political parties – Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Jagan and Pawan Kalyan . But finally he decided to join YSR CP. People in political circles as well as netizens were commenting that Ali was following Lalitha Jewellery commercial ad sincerely and he took time to visit all the three leaders, got his estimates and based on those estimates he finally took the decision.

Anyway during this election season you can expect much more fun from all the political parties.

In a rather surprising move today Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan meets Bahujan samajwadi party chief Mayawati and had discussion for more than 2 hours. As per reports they are going to have alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

After the meeting, Mayawai told “It will be great to see Pawan as AP chief Minister and we will soon begin our campaigning.” Pawan Kalyan told, “We would like to see Mayawati as the Prime Minister of our country, this is our wish and our strong desire.”

Even during PRP also Pawan Kalyan who was keen to have alliance with BSP and he was the one who had discussions with state BSP leaders. However later, when Amar Singh and Jayaprada met Chiranjeevi, PRP core team changed their decision to have any sort of understanding with Mayawati party. But now Pawan Kalyan decision of having understanding with Mayawati party is definitely going to have some impact as it is going to attract some SC vote Bank and there by dent YSR CP.

We will have to wait and see how Janasena and BSP alliance will impact AP politics.

Jana Senani is speeding up ticket allotments in Godavari districts where the party is stronger. Pawan Kalyan has announced names for two MP seats in East Godavari. MLA Akula Satyanarayana will now contest from Rajahmundry MP seat on Jana Sena ticket. Retired ONGC officer DMR Sekhar will the Jana Sena candidate for Amalapuram MP seat. Actually, Pawan announced earlier his first list of candidates will be released in a day or two.

As AP election is taking place in the first phase on April 11, Pawan is left with no extra time to delay ticket allotments any further. In Telangana 2018 election also, Pawan could not field his party candidates because of unpreparedness. Considering that, Jana Senani has become active once the poll schedule is announced.

Pawan expressed happiness that DMR Sekhar has come forward to join Jana Sena as he is sharing the same ideologies. Pawan is stated to have got a broad understanding with Left parties as well on the seats to be shared and the candidates to be put up in the respected segments.

Politics in times of elections is different from politics in normal times. Experienced politicians spend all their time and energies on poll related strategies. They get busy with multi-farious activities of identifying winning candidates for ticket allotments, convincing warring groups within the party and also attracting strong leaders from rival parties. There is also another issue of balancing proper media attention to the party.

While the ruling TDP and the opposition YCP are far ahead in this game of electoral politics, Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan is lagging far behind. The actor turned politician is not to be seen regularly in media ahead of the elections. His party is also not becoming the talking point when it comes to candidates identification and ticket allotments.

Another disadvantage is that many leaders from his own Kapu community are preferring TDP as a first choice and later the YCP as the second choice. Analysts say Pawan is finding it very difficult to keep up the tempo of his party in the election race. The question being asked is whether Jana Senani is getting marginalised in the battle with heavyweights.

BJP National Spokesman GVL Narasimha Rao intensified his attack on Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. It’s regarding the controversial comments made by Pawan at his Kurnool public meeting the other day. GVL said mockingly that what Pawan had said now became the sensational points for the Pakistan media.

The BJP leader said that it has almost become like PK no longer stands for Pawan Kalyan but it now means ‘Pakistan Code’. The Jana Senani comments had created a big controversy surrounding war-like situation in the border. The Pakistani leaders have even started referring to Pawan’s statements to criticize the Modi government over border tensions.

GVL fired at Jana Sena and advised Pawan Kalyan not to link India’s national security with politics. The same allegation was made by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu against the BJP. Reports are coming from abroad whether Indian surgical strikes caused any damage to terror camps. The reports suggest that the strikes are actually meant to suit popular demand for strong action against Pakistan.

In Palasa of Srikakulam district, YSRCP leader Roja convened a meeting. As always, she started lambasting CM chandrababu Naidu and TDP in her speech. She expected people to cheer in support of her statements but she got a shocker as people suddenly started shouting ” Power star CM” showing their support to janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. Those who came along with her asked people to stop shouting those slogans, but the people shouted the same slogans even louder. She understood the situation , smiled and moved on.

It is known news that, recently Pawan Kalyan also faced a similar situation when a farmer asked him to support to Jagan and make him CM. However, Pawan Kalyan also handled the situation gracefully. During the election season, many more similar events are expected.
