Jana Sainik counter to YCP in Assembly

0

Everybody listened curiously when Jana Sena lone MLA Rapaka Vara Prasad rose to speak on the thanksgiving motion to Governor’s speech in the AP Assembly. His comment on special status triggered criticism from the ruling YCP. He asked the YCP to get special status as its friendly party BJP is ruling at the Centre. YCP Chief Whip Srikant Reddy quickly countered saying that their party is not an ally of BJP in elections but it would continue demanding status.

Then the Jana Sena MLA withdrew his remark and said mockingly this time that he had confidence in CM Jaganmohan Reddy who is known for his straightforwardness. Rapaka recalled the slogan ‘madama thippadu, mata thappadu’ and asked Jagan to fulfill all the promises that were made in the YCP manifesto.

Jana Sena MLA also asked YCP not to target him as he is the only MLA representing his party in the house.

Actor Suman blames Janasena for TDP’s disaster

0

Actor Suman made sensational comments on Janasena and Pawan today and blamed it entirely on Janasena for the disastrous performance of TDP in 2019 elections. He told, it is because of Janasena, TDP got very less number of seats in assembly elections. Details as below.

Suman, who was in top league of actors in early 1980s, lagged behind his peers in career after a controversial episode in his life, that happened because of some ugly ‘Tamil’ politics during MGR era. Of course, DMK leaders helped him come out of the tussle. He later shifted his base to Hyderabad and married Telugu girl. During Telangana movement, he supported KCR and TRS. In AP politics, he always supported TDP and CBN.

He now commented that, he never seen a single party getting so many seats like in 2019 elections. He added that, it is only because of Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena, TDP got such a disastrous result. He also appreciated CM Jagan and hoped AP will progress during his tenure.

Janasena MLA response on Governor speech

0

Janasena party’s lone MLA in assembly Rapaka Vara Prasad responded on Governor’s speech in Assembly. Usually Governor is just a nominal chief of the state and his speech always represents the ideology, aspirations, schemes and goals of ruling party. It is not uncommon in India to see Governor speaking exactly contrary to what he spoke last year the same time, when governments change during the year. And so, the response of MLAs on governor speech usually give hints about the party’s or his opinion on ruling party. In this background, many were waiting to see Janasena MLA’s stand on Governor speech.

Rapaka Varaprasad told that, in general, governor speech is good and it would be beneficial for the state if all these promises are kept up by the government. He also demanded that CM should reveal, from where funds will be mobilized for all these Navaratna schemes. He also told that even though Jagan is very young, he is trying to do lot of things for the state. He also told that all the members of house need to maintain decorum and meaningful discussions needs to happen in the house.

Pawan emotional dialogues politically impractical?

0

Pawan Kalyan faced many hurdles in the film industry and overcame them with courage and determination. But that is different from the political field. Here, one has to be practically correct in terms of winning vote banks with the help of factors like community and caste. Jana Senani still prefers to be emotional about his ideologies and asserts that he will see why change will not come among the people. He will sit and wait and fight alone for that day.

All said and done, Jana Sena could not get full support from his own Kapu community. Even the youth voters did not throw their weight behind him. Only in a few pockets, Jana Sena could show its presence felt.

There are doubts over future prospects. But Pawan is asserting that he has established a permanent party set up in Amaravati capital city area only to continue his fight till the end. He says that he knows how to hit back at the forces that are responsible for the defeat of Jana Sena. He further says that their party candidates got a good number of votes which shows their strength.

Pawan says that each vote cast for Jana Sena is worth a hundred votes and the party will give due respect to all those who voted for his party candidates. Analysts say that Pawan too has to do a lot of social engineering and realise ground realities of vote bank politics.

Pawan insulted voters, says Varma

0

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma never leaves an opportunity to criticize and embarrass others for media attention. Now, he targeted Jana Senani once again. Pawan Kalyan has said that his rivals spent Rs 150 crore to prevent him from entering the Assembly. Varma said mockingly that if the voters were really favouring Pawan, they would have taken money from his rivals but would have finally cast their votes for him.

Varma told Senani not to insult the voters for they would select their leaders as per their wishes. Jana Sena has become a target for many because of its disaster in the election. It could win just one seat in East Godavari district.

Defeats will not stop my political journey: Pawan

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has said that his opponents have spent huge amounts to prevent him from setting his foot in the Assembly. They spent a whopping Rs. 150 crore in Bhimavaram in West Godavari. Pawan said that he was targetted by the rivals with a special focus but such conspiracies and defeats would not stop him from continuing his political struggles. He came into politics only after deciding to face defeats.

Jana Senani told party cadres that in future also, he may be facing such defeats but he would not stop his journey. He came prepared for a 25-year-long ideological, political struggle. His fight would continue till he gets victory and it has happened to him in his life before.

Pawan tried to provide inspiration to the Jana Sainiks, saying that their party has got support from many sections. There is a lot of scope to make gains in Visakhapatnam where the party should win seats in future. JD Lakshminarayana and other leaders met him during his visit to Amaravati.

Rude shock to Jana Senani

0

Ravela Kishore Babu, a senior SC leader and former minister, resigned from the Jana Sena party. He was defeated by Minister Sucharita Mekathoti in Prathipadu assembly segment in Guntur district. He asked Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan to accept his resignation at the earliest.

Though he gave personal reasons for his resignation, there’s speculation that he is unhappy with the leadership. Many Hana Sena second rung leaders are also saying goodbye in Prathipadu. Ravela’s resignation came at a very difficult time for Jana Senani who is now trying hard to overcome the crisis.

There’s also frustration among many leaders over the party ending up in a disaster. Pawan is talking of beginning the part’s rebuilding from one MLA but the rival parties may not give scope for him with their competitive political game plans.

Twin shocks to Pawan Kalyan

0

Jana Senani is in deep crisis. He has lost in both Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram assembly segments. He gave a tough time to rival in Gajuwaka but eventually lost the seat as well. To his utter shock, Jana Sena has hopes of winning only one segment which is Rajole. Here also Jana Sena candidate is facing a stiff fight from the rival.

Pawan Kalyan has tied up with the Left parties and the Bahujan Samaj Party. Their candidates have put up a miserable show in most segments. Pawan’s charisma among the young voters has not worked any wonders. His party has failed to have an impact even in the Godavari districts.

Pawan Kalyan assesses JSP poll prospects

Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief and actor Pawan Kalyan on Sunday held a meeting with the party leaders to review the party’s prospects in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections held last month.

At the meeting held at Jana Sena Party (JSP) office at Mangalagiri in Guntur district, Pawan assessed the poll prospects with the party candidates and senior leaders.

He gathered feedback from the candidates about the polling trend, the public response to the party’s campaign and the prospects in their respective constituencies.

The actor asked the party candidates and leaders to be vigilant during the counting of votes on May 23. He directed them to keep a close watch on the entire counting process and also on counting of VVPAT slips.

Pawan also urged the party leaders to continue working for strengthening the organisation, irrespective of the poll results.

Party leader Madasu Gangadharam said the party would focus on strengthening the organisation in all the villages for the local body elections. He asked the party functionaries to focus on the village level issues.

Elections to 175-member state Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies were held in the first phase on April 11.

The JSP contested 140 Assembly seats, leaving 35 for its allies — Bahujan Samaj Party (21), Communist Party of India (7) and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (7).

The JSP fielded candidates in 18 Lok Sabha constituencies while BSP contested three seats and CPI and the CPI-M two seats each.

Janasena impact was more than expected, says TDP MP candidate

1

Maganti Roopa, daughter in law of former MP and actor Murali Mohan, commented that Janasena impacted the voting pattern of 2019 elections and its impact was more than what they expected.

Chandrababu held a review meeting in Rajahmundry today. Many leaders including TDP leader Goranta Buchaiah Chowdhary and Rajahmundry Lok Sabha candidate Maganti Roopa attend the meeting. The meeting was primarily to assess the voting pattern and estimate the probable results. During this meeting as well as during the media interaction after the meeting, Roopa shared her opinion and told that Janasena party impacted the voting pattern hugely in Godavari districts. But she told that it is not possible at this moment to exactly estimate whose prospects will be damaged due to this janasena impact. She also added that TDP will win a majority of the seats under Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency.

She hoped that huge voting percentage will benefit Chandrababu Naidu in this elections.

Two key persons resigned Janasena

0

Even before the results of the 2019 elections, two important persons left Janasena. They are Marisetti Raghavaiah and Arjun Chintapalli.

Marisetti Raghavaiah is the financial head and treasurer for Janasena. He is a long associate of mega family and first of few who joined the party. Arjun Chintapalli is the man behind all stage arrangements and scheduling programmes for Janasena.

Both of them worked for the party even before it started. Now both left huge dissatisfaction and disappointment. It is in the circles of Janasena leaders that both of them are hard workers and committed personalities. It is a huge set back to Pawan Kalyan to lose such kind of people.

Pawan Kalyan starts review meetings with party leaders

0

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has started review meetings with janasena party leaders. As part of these meetings, he will be interacting with the leaders from the districts of Srikakulam, vizianagaram ,Visakhapatnam East Godavari , West Godavari and Krishna in the first phase of review meetings.

During the election, some of the janasena party leaders did not do campaigning aggressively and this went to the notice of Pawan Kalyan. He will be questioning those leaders and seek explanation from them. Also, Pawan Kalyan will ask the leaders to be ready for upcoming local elections in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

As of now both TDP and ysrcp are saying that they are confident of coming into power, but both the parties are worried about the silent voting of janasena. After this review meeting with party leaders Pawan Kalyan will come up with assessment on how many seats janasena is going to get actually. Depending on the outcome, he is expected to formulate his future strategy. Political opponents of janasena estimating that janasena may gate less than 10 MLA seats and 2-3 MP seats, but the fans of janasena expecting around 5 MP seats and 20 plus MLA seats.

Why is YCP targetting Jana Sena all through?

0

Undoubtedly, there are multiple factors why Jagan Reddy and his right hand man Vijayasai Reddy are virtually hating Pawan Kalyan. It’s their strong feeling obviously that 2014 YCP defeat was partly because of Pawan’s support to TDP. In the present election, Pawan’s party is contesting separately and it has split votes of YCP in many places. Analysts say that Jagan’s strong feeling is that the present election would have been a cakewalk for him if there is no Pawan Kalyan factor.

Jagan used all his resources and spent a fortune on the election consultant alone to somehow win the AP poll. Now with polling over, there are no clear indications of the YCP having a fair chance to win. Wherever Jana Sena is strong, the YCP is not having the confidence of a certain victory.

Amid this frustration, JD Lakshmi Narayana’s comments on winning simple majority greatly irked Vijayasai who triggered an exchange of sarcastic statements. YCP is still unhappy on Pawan party for contesting though it has no chances to reach double digit. Political circles are curious as to what turn this mutual hatred will take in the coming days.

JD slams Vijay Sai Reddy’s untenable statements

0

Former CBI joint director and Janasena party leader VV Lakshmi Narayana came up with a strong riposte to YSRCP leader Vijay Sai Reddy’s baseless statements. It is a known fact that Janasena contested in all 175 assembly segments of Andhra Pradesh in this elections by forming an alliance with BSP and Left parties. But, Vijay Sai Reddy claimed that Janasena contested alone only in 65 constituencies. He added that JD Lakshmi Narayana is making tall claims about winning 88 seats and questioned him whether he is making them at the behest of Chandra Babu Naidu.

Reacting strongly, Lakshmi Narayana slammed Vijay Sai Reddy for not getting the facts rights before commenting. He asserted that Janasena contested alone in 140 seats and with an alliance in remaining segments. In his two tweets, JD countered Reddy’s false statements and asked him to correct his numbers. He also pointed out that being a chartered accountant Vijay Sai Reddy should get his facts and figures rights before making any statements.

JD Lakshmi Narayana joined Twitter immediately just before elections and is regularly updating his followers about his activities. Many expected that he wouldn’t react to Vijay Sai Reddy’s statements. Surprisingly, he countered with a perfect retort.

TDP and YSRCP worried about Janasena silent voting?

0

Elections are over in Andhra Pradesh and political parties are curiously waiting for results which will be announced on May 23rd. Both YSR CP and TDP are confident of coming into power. YSR CP supremo Jagan is confident of getting 120 seats, while TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu told, TDP will get 130 seats. However, as elections are over, both the parties have started getting reports from all the districts of the state about the voting pattern, as per the sources, these reports revealed that there was indeed silent voting for janasena in the range of 10% to 30% depending upon the constituency in North Andhra and Godavari districts. North Andhra and Godavari districts combinedly have around 68 assembly seats. Now, these reports are making top 2 political parties worry about the results, as they don’t know, which party will be damaged because of the silent voting for janasena.

Moreover, janasena alliance with BSP and communists also is expected to make a good impact. BSP got 1.1% votes in AP in 2014, CPI got 0.5%, CPM got 0.8% in 2014. So these parties got 2.4% votes in 2014 when most of the people don’t even know that these parties contested. Now, with Janasena alliance their combined vote share may increase too, to the tune of 3.5% to 4.5%. So as per these reports, janasena may get a very good number of votes and a reasonable number of seats.

With these reports of janasena getting a lot of silent votes, both TDP and YSRCP seem to be worried about final results.

Pawan Kalyan to start Janasena review meetings

Elections are over in Andhra Pradesh and all the political parties are curiously waiting for the results. It is still more than 5 weeks away for the results to be out. Meanwhile, as per the reports, Pawan Kalyan will be soon starting review meetings with the leaders of Janasena party.

These review meetings are aimed to know directly from the leaders of the party about what went fine and what went wrong during the elections and prepare long term strategy for the party. As per the sources, Pawan Kalyan already received reports from the districts about the party performance as well as the performance of various leaders and currently he is going through those reports.

On the other hand, most of the Janasena leaders are curious to share the specific experiences they faced during the elections with their party supremo. Pawan Kalyan will be holding all these meetings at Vijayawada. Dates and other details will be out soon.

4 districts will decide final winner in AP election

0

Speculation is becoming more curious with each passing day on AP election results. According to reports, Jana Sena has got considerable support from Kapu vote bank in Krishna, Guntur, West and East Godavari districts. The party has no winning edge in majority segments here but its vote split may change winning chances of rival TDP and YCP. Any slight edge will ensure final victory of the party concerned in the entire state.

It is already clear that the party coming to power will have to win at least 40 out of the total 67 assembly seats in these four districts. Krishna has got 16 seats, Guntur 17, West Godavari 15 and East Godavari 19. The leaders of both TDP and YCP are busy getting booth level data and get a true estimate of how Pawan Kalyan factor is going to leave an impact.

For the ruling TDP, it has become even a greater problem to clearly ascertain whether Kapu beneficiaries of Pasupu Kumkuma and Annadata Sukheebhava have voted for their party or not. TDP’s hope is that even if 20 to 30 per cent of Kapu beneficiaries voted for their candidates, this would mean a certain victory in majority segments. YCP leaders are confident that the Kapus have voted for Jana Sena hundred per cent which would only benefit their party.

Janasena Punganur MLA candidate gesture appreciated by many

0

As everybody knows, most of the politicians from traditional political parties do lot of hard work before election but immediately after election, they either go into silent mode or get busy with their own personal business works. But janasena leaders are proving that they are different than others.

Yesterday janasena leader and CBI former joint director Lakshmi Narayana visited Bhimili and surrounding places and interacted with people and assured them of resolving the issues. Today another janasena leader and Punganur MLA candidate ramchandra Yadav gave representation to railway board chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav and requested him for laying of new railway line connecting existing lines from kolar gold Fields of Karnataka to Rompicherla in Andhra Pradesh.

As per reports railway board chairman also responded positively on this. anyway janasena party leaders proving that they are not like other traditional political party leaders who always say that they will resolve the issues of people only if they become chief ministers or ministers or MLAs.

‘JD’ Lakshmi Narayana gesture appreciated by many

1

It is known news that CBI former joint director Lakshmi Narayana contested as MP from Vizag on Janasena ticket. As per reports, he is most likely to win the seat.

Today, Lakshmi Narayana visited Bhimili, Anandapuram and surrounding areas to inquire about the progress in national highway expansion works. He also interacted with the local people regarding their issues. Usually, politicians from traditional parties do lot of work before election but they completely relax or get busy with their personal business after the election is over.

But Janasena party seems to be following a different path in this regard. Even though the election is over and result is not yet out, janasena leaders like Pawan Kalyan ( donating more than a crore rupees to a temple), Lakshmi Narayana, and some other leaders ( e.g. Punganur MLA) participating in various activities and helping the people. This gesture by janasena leaders is now appreciated by many people.

We will have to wait and see what kind of result is awaiting Janasena.

Polling over – where has gone Pawan?

13

Jana Senani has promised to fight against the system by taking an active role in politics. The polling is over now and his party leaders are not seen anywhere effectively fighting against the failures of election authorities. On his part, CM Chandrababu Naidu has taken his struggle to Delhi from he is now giving tough time to PM Modi.

Pawan Kalyan has equally attacked Modi and KCR during election campaign. He strived hard to get attention from the educated sections and neutral voters by provoking the AP sentiment. But he is not making further efforts to sustain his campaign while Chandrababu went head for a fight with Modi in his own den. Pawan successfully got alliance with Mayawati where also he could not effectively use the Dalit card to his party advantage.

Analysts say that Jana Sena has not reaped expected results from the higher polling percentage among women and youth. There are no reports from anywhere whether women supported Jana Sena. This has sent the party leaders into an internal debate on what went wrong. Right now, the TDP itself is busy taking many precautions to prevent manipulation of the EVMs which are in strong rooms. Jana Senani should have to step up his strategy to continue his political struggle.
