Puri Jagannadh floored with Balayya’s punctuality

Dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannadh surprised everyone when he announced a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Their combination became a hot topic of discussion among audience and industry circles. Puri has already promised to show case NBK in a never before seen avatar.

Speaking to a leading Telugu portal, Puri said he was floored with Balayya’s respect towards the work. He revealed that Balakrishna would drop on the sets sharp at 6:30 AM if they want to shoot from 7 AM in the morning. Puri said that the GPSK actor inherited the quality from his father NTR. He further added that NBK carries great energy levels with him and the involves in the character very deeply.

The regular shooting of this untitled film is happening in Hyderabad. The unit will soon move to Europe for a month long schedule. NBK plays a gangster in the film.

When Balakrishna said no to Puri’s offer

Dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is working with Balakrishna for the first time in his career. The regular shooting of this untitled film is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Anand Prasad of Bhavya Creations is pooling resources for this film.

Reportedly, Puri expressed his desire to produce this film on his home banner. But, Balakrishna turned down Puri’s offer because he has already committed to work under Bhavya Creations. Anand Prasad got hold of NBK’s dates long back to produce a film titled ‘Raithu’ with Krishna Vamshi at the helm. But, things didn’t materialize and the project was shelved. So, to keep his promise NBK had to work under Bhavya Creations for the current project.

It is further learnt that Balakrishna has asked Puri to come up with a new script and promised to act under his production very soon. If everything goes as per plans, the Puri – Balakrishna combo might repeat again in the near future.

Venky turns Producer?

Victory Venkatesh has enough clarity on the financial aspects of his films and he never steps out of his commercial comforts. Puri quoted a massive budget for the film after which Venky decided to turn producer for the film. This is the first time Venkatesh will be producing a movie in his career. Raj Tarun gets a knock on his door from Puri

Young Tollywood actor Raj Tarun who came to fame with his debut movie Uyyala Jampala seems to be travelling through a good phase. According to latest news, successful director Puri Jagannadh had recently called Raj Tarun to Bangkok to narrate him a story.

Interestingly, Puri will only be producing the film while it will helmed by yesteryears actree Revathi. It is reported that maverick director Ramgopal Varma has suggested Revathi’s name to Puri who immediately agreed.

On the flip side, Raj Tarun is currently busy with Kumari21F which is produced by another hit director Sukumar. Directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, the film has Hebah Patel as the female lead.

Mega hero’s next nears completion

Actor Varun Tej, who is awaiting the release of upcoming film Kanche, is now shooting for his next project in Puri Jagannadh’s direction. The film is tentatively titled Loafer. The unit had wrapped up the Goa schedule and returned to Hyderabad.

Informing the latest development, producer C Kalyan announced that the talkie part of the film has been completed barring some patch work. Also, he stated that they are contemplating a title change very soon. The film has Disha Patani as the leading lady. Sunil Kashyap is the music director.
