Another notice served on T’gana MLA Raja Singh for hate speech

0

The Hyderabad Police have served another notice to Telangana MLA and suspended BJP leader T. Raja Singh for making hate speech at a rally in Mumbai on January 29.

Mangalhat police issued the notice to the controversial legislator for making communally provocative comments, thus violating the conditions imposed by the High Court while ordering his release last year.

The Member of Telangana Legislative Assembly from Goshamahal constituency has been asked to submit his reply to the notice in two days.

Reacting strongly to the fresh notice, Raja Singh alleged that the ninth Nizam is ruling the state. He said that he was not afraid of being sent to jail again.

The MLAs demanded that laws should be made to check cow slaughter, religious conversions and Love Jihad.

This is the second notice issued to him by Mangalhat police in a week. On January 26, a notice was issued to him over alleged objectionable remarks he made last year against a religious community.

The notice under section 41 (a) of CrPC was issued in connection over the alleged provocative speech. He was booked in August 2022 under Section 295 A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Indian Penal Code by Kanchanbagh police based on a complaint. The case was later transferred to Mangalhat police station.

In December last year, the police had served a show case notice on Raja Singh for making derogatory comments on Facebook, thereby allegedly violating conditions laid down by the High Court.

It was mentioned in the notice that the Preventive Detention (PD) Act was invoked against Raja Singh for habitually delivering provocative and inflammatory speeches. While setting aside the police order invoking PD Act, the High Court had imposed certain conditions.

The High Court had imposed the condition that the MLA shall not make any provocative speeches against any religion or post any derogatory or offensive posts on any social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Youtube etc.

Raja Singh was sent to jail on August 25 after Hyderabad Police commissioner invoked th3e PD Act. He had spent 76 days in jail.

The police took the action after continuing protests for his re-arrest for allegedly making derogatory comments about Prophet Mohammad.

According to police, Raja Singh, a rowdy-sheeter of Mangalhat Police Station, has been habitually delivering provocative and inflammatory speeches and driving a wedge between communities leading to public disorder.

A total of 101 criminal cases have been registered against him since 2004. He was involved in 18 communal offences in the limits of different police stations in Hyderabad.

The MLA, who was suspended by the BJP for his derogatory comments, had challenged the police action. On November 9, the Telangana High Court set aside the police order invoking PD Act against the MLA and ordered his release.

The court, however, laid down certain conditions. The MLA was directed not to make any provocative speeches against any religion or post any derogatory or offensive posts on any social media platforms.

Hyderabad BJP MLA detained ahead of comedian Munawar Faruqui’s show

1

Hyderabad police on Friday detained BJP MLA T. Raja Singh who had threatened to burn down the venue of stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui’s show scheduled to be held here Saturday.

As Raja Singh along with his supporters was trying to leave for Shilpa Kala Vedika, the venue of the show, police detained him and shifted him to Bolaram police station.

The controversial MLA told media persons before being taken in a police vehicle that he was not being given any information by the police.

Raja Singh’s supporters raised slogans against the state government and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao when police officials detained him from his office in Mangalhat. Some of them tried to block the police vehicle but were taken into custody.

Police had tightened the security at the MLA’s office since morning following information that he and his supporters may create disturbances at the venue.

Raja Singh, who represents Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad, had warned that if the comedian goes ahead with the show, he would beat him up and burn down the venue.

A video of the MLA, threatening the comedian, had surfaced on social media last week. He alleged that Faruqui had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus by making jokes on their gods.

The BJP MLA’s warning came after Munawar took to his Instagram account to announce his show “Dongri to Nowhere” in Hyderabad on August 20.

He had earlier planned to perform in Hyderabad in January but the show had to be canceled due to a surge in Covid-19 cases.

“In the past too, our idiot minister KTR had offered police protection and invited him, saying his event will be a great success. But even then, when Hindu groups across Telangana united to threaten him, he got scared and cancelled the event,” Raja Singh said, in a reference to state minster K.T. Rama Rao.

“I am seriously telling this. Everybody knows about the law and order in Telangana. I am telling KTR, if you don’t want this to deteriorate further, don’t allow the comedian in Hyderabad,” the MLA from Goshamahal said.

The BJP leader went on to issue an open threat. “See what will happen, If they invite him. Wherever the program is, we will go and beat him up. Whoever offers him a venue, we will burn it down. If something goes wrong, KTR and the government and police officers will be responsible,” Raja Singh said.

The BJP leaders had similar threats in January when Munawar had planned to perform. However, the show had to be cancelled due to restrictions imposed on public gatherings in view of a surge in Covid cases.

Faruqui had announced his Hyderabad show on December 22, 2021, days after KTR had extended him an open invite to perform in Hyderabad, saying the city is truly cosmopolitan.

The stand-up comedian had earlier tweeted that he was receiving several calls and mails from Hyderabad to perform in the city.

What did diaper babies do in Old City: Raja Singh asks Owaisi brothers

2

Raja Singh, BJP MLA representing Goshamahal Assembly constituency raised his pitch against his arch rivals – the Owaisi brothers.
Calling the brothers “diaper babies” hiding in the safe haven of the Old City, Raja Singh questioned what were the Owaisi brothers doing when hundreds of Muslim women were sold to old men from the Gulf in the illegal marriage racket. “Not a single Hindu woman was ever was sold in such illegal marriage transactions. What did the Owaisi brothers were doing when our Muslim daughters, when our Muslim sisters dignity and respect was being sold away to men from Gulf. They are daughters of Telangana. What did the diaper babies do when our Muslim daughters were being sold in marriage market,” he questioned.
He said the BJP is not against Muslims, but against terrorism and terrorists calling them “terrorist dogs.” “We don’t hate Muslims. We are against terrorists and illegal immigrants who are involved in terror acts in the country,” he said.
Further, Raja Singh claimed that the Owaisi brothers and their AIMIM party lost credibility in their own bastion – the Old City.
“Muslim women are chasing away MIM party leaders with broom sticks when they are going to their doorstep seeking votes. Such is the credibility they have in their own constituency,” he took a jibe at Owaisi brothers.
He said in the last more than 15 years, the Old City remained backward only because of AIMIM and its party’s main faces – the Owaisi brothers. “We have seen what happened to the Old City when the torrential rains and flash floods hit Hyderabad. The only language that the Owaisi brothers know and understand is the language of hate by keeping the Muslim brothers in a constant state of darkness. All that they know is whip up their passions. But Muslims have realized their ulterior motives and keeping MIM away,” he said.
On Asaduddin Owaisi challenge to Prime Minister Modi to visit the Old City, Raja Singh said the AIMIM president tried every trick in the book to stop UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to the city but proved futile. “He met the DGP. He moved heaven and earth to stop Yogi Adityanath ji’s visit to Shalibanda. Now, your baap (father) has come. Stop him. You are scared like a rat hiding in your hole at Adityanath ji’s visit,” he said.

BJP MLA Raja Singh’s allegations on Sania Mirza

1

BJP’s firebrand MLA Raja Singh has created a sensation in political circles by levelling serious changes against tennis star Sania Mirza. He has said that Sania is involved in the shooting and killing of an ox at Damagudem in forest area surroundings in the Vikarabad district. Raja Singh says that as per the local villagers, it was Sania who has shot dead the ox but not anybody else. The incident took place in a farm house there.

The BJP MLA has also said that the local villagers were talking about the killing of a peacock by Sania in the past in their surroundings. The Telangana Government should order a detailed investigation into the killing of the ox. Already, a case was filed and investigation was on.

Raja Singh’s latest allegations caught political circles by surprise as he made open remarks despite the fact that investigation was already launched. Only on Tuesday, the local police arrested Umar, who was incharge of the farm house belonging to Sania. The case was also filed based on complaints made by the local people.

Facebook bans Raja Singh

1

Facebook on Thursday banned BJP MLA T Raja Singh from its platform and Instagram for violating its policy on content promoting violence and hate.

“We have banned Raja Singh from Facebook for violating our policy prohibiting those that promote or engage in violence and hate from having a presence on our platform,” a Facebook spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

Facebook decided to ban Raja Singh following a report carried in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) alleging that the social media platform had ignored the hate speech being unleashed by ruling party leaders. The report also accused some Facebook employees being favorable to the ruling party.

In one of his posts, Raja Singh said Rohingya Muslim immigrants should be shot, called Muslims traitors and threatened to raze mosques.

The WSJ report alleged that Facebook had ignored posts by Raja Singh that contained content that qualified as hate speech according to the social media’s policies.

Meanwhile, Raja Singh thanked Facebook from removing the obectionable posts purportedly written by him. He stated that his Facebook pages were hacked and some unknown people were posting obectionable comments. Further, he pointed out that Facebook also removed his 2018 account and said he will write to FB seeking revocation of its decision to remove his account.

Rowdy Sheet on MLA Raja Singh

0

In shocking news, the only one MLA in Telangana state from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mr. Raja Singh Lodh has Rowdy Sheet with Mangalhat police under the jurisdiction of West Zone of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. It was found when few rowdy sheeters went to the police station for the regular attendance and the name of the MLA is displayed at the row number 24 in the history sheeters’ list. It was also mentioned that he is an MLA.

Soon after the news was spreading over social media, Mr. Raja Singh responded on the matter and alleged that it was a conspiracy by the ruling TRS party and its alliance AIMIM. “It was a conspiracy behind me. I came to know today that a rowdy sheet has been registered against me with Mangalhat Police,” he said.

He alleged that the police have become a puppet and are under the clutches of the AIMIM leaders. “Earlier they were working genuinely but, now they are acting as per the directions by the AIMIM with the support of the ruling party. The TRS always tries to eliminate the opposition. In order to achieve its goal, it is targeting me. The government is digging my criminal background due to the high pressure by the AIMIM,” he said.

He questioned the chief minister Mr. KCR that was there no rowdies in the ruling party? “Even few ministers are involved in crimes and the government should focus on it,” he demanded.

BJP MLA Raja Singh revolts against party leadership

0

Controversial BJP MLA from Telangana State, Raja Singh on Tuesday revolted against his own party leadership by leveling serious allegations against top BJP leaders in state.

Raja Singh is the only MLA representing BJP in the Telangana Legislative Assembly.

Raja Singh alleged that top BJP leaders in state had worked to defeat him in 2018 Assembly polls but he could survive due to the blessings of God and the people of his Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad

Though BJP heavyweights and sitting MLA like G Kishan Reddy, K Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and NVSS Prabhakar lost their MLA seats in the “TRS wave” in December 2018 Assembly polls, Raja Singh was the lone sitting BJP MLA, who could withstand TRS wave and emerged victorious.

Speaking to media in Hyderabad on Tuesday , Raja Singh accused the BJP leaders in Telangana of deliberately ignoring him and sidelining him in all the party activities in the state. He also accused the BJP top leaders of not even recognizing him as the BJP’s Legislature Party leader in the Telangana Legislative Assembly.

Known as a hardcore “Hindutva” leader in Telangana BJP, Raja Singh sparked several controversies since 2014, when he was first elected as MLA with his sharp remarks and criticism against Minorities, especially the AIMIM , accusing it of making Old City as the ‘den’ for illegal Pakistan migrants and a harbor of terrorists.

He said the BJP state unit president Dr K Laxman defeat in Assembly polls was due to his preoccupation with the party office works and not being able to focus on the constituency.

He charged the Union Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy for not adhering to the protocol and not even giving information to him on visit to his Maharajgunj constituency.

He said MPs Bandi Sanjay and Aravind besides DK Aruna are efficient to lead BJP in Telangana for 2023 Assembly polls.

Raja Singh described UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanadh as his political guru.

He remarked that he had no interest to become the BJP state unit president and his areas of focus are safeguarding the Hindu dharma and cows.

He alleged that senior leaders in the party worked for his electoral defeat while the party workers put everything at stake to get him elected as MLA.

Revolting against his own party leadership is not new for Raja Singh. In his first term as MLA, he lodged complaint with the BJP national president Amit Shah against then MLA, now union minister Kishan Reddy for sidelining him in the party.

He even announced to have resigned from the BJP to take part in “Go Raksha movement” in August 2018 claiming that he did it to save PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and BJP from embarrassment of BJP MLA
