YSR Kutumabam is similar to ‘Puli Raja ki AIDS vastunda’ : Minister Kalva

0

Information and Public Relations Minister Kalva Srinivasulu said that the ‘missed call programme’ by YSR Congress party will “put a full stop” to the political life of Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking at Anantapur on Thursday, the TDP leader compared the YSR Kutumbam’s missed call programme with the “Puli Raja ki AIDS vastunda” (Will Puli Raja gets Aids?) campaign. The Minister did not stop there but went ahead to say “Jagan himself is a big missed call” and is a useless politician.

He said that Jagan lacks independent thinking and rubs his views on the party because of which the YSRCP leaders want to switch allegiance. Kalva accused that the opposition leader by paying hundreds of crores to Prashant Kishor is using fake media to campaign against TDP Ministers, MLAs and leaders.

Kalva noted that even though Kishor made Jagan visit each home during Nandyal election, the YSRCP failed miserably.

On the other hand, the hearing of the discharge petition is scheduled on September22. While Jagan filed discharge, seeking relief from the cases related to quid pro quo investments, the CBI lawyers opposed the discharge petition.

The High Court and the CBI court have denied most of the requests by the opposition leader in the recent past. It may be recalled that Jethmalani previously said that Jagan is entitled to more liberty since he is a politician

Whatever PK says, take that as Gospel Truth : Jagan

0

Prashant Kishor has taken complete control of YSR Congress party and Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has become a nominal head. All party affairs are running as per his instruction.

There was allegedly a clash between the political strategist and the media management team. The media management team reportedly could not tolerate interference of PK in their day to day affairs as they are well versed with organizing media and handling the news.

Finally, both the teams reached out to the boss Jagan who apparently said that everything should happen under PK’s nose. He supposedly advised the media team to take decisions only after discussing with the strategist.

On the other hand, a senior politician who switched from Congress to YSRCP, following the Nandyal defeat did a self-introspection. After doing some ground work, he approached Jagan with new ideas which can help in winning the elections and boosting the morale. Jagan reportedly reminded the leader that PK will take care of party’s win as informed in the plenary. Furthermore, he requested him to understand being a senior politician in the party.

YSRCP ‘Gadapa gadapaku’ programme has been rechristened as YSR Kutumbam by PK. Hope the strategist and the party supremo will treat the party cadre as a family.

Strange omission – Sakshi learnt the lesson the hard way??

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is alleged by Economic times of managing the judiciary. Opposition Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s media house Sakshi would have ideally published this new item on its front page. Surprisingly, leave alone front page there was no mention at all.

It may be noted that ET published a report that Justice Chelameswar had written to the then CJI JS Khehar, regarding the proximity of the Supreme Court judge L V Ramana and the present chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP which has time and again levied the same accusation that the chief minister is controlling the judiciary. Jagan is already named as A1 accused and has several charges against him. Sakshi publishing any such report against the judiciary will only create more problems for the opposition leader. It has also been avoiding many other important items. It is apparent that Sakshi has learnt it the hard way.

Chandrababu Naidu Says ‘Jagan Baba’ Has Criminal Mindset Like Gurmeet Ram Rahim

0

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday likened Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, sentenced to 20 years in jail in two rape cases.

“He is Dera baba and our man here is Jagan Baba. He has a destructive and criminal mindset,” Chandrababu said at a press conference at the Secretariat here on Monday evening.

A special CBI court in Rohtak sentenced Ram Rahim to 20 years in prison after his conviction in two rape cases.

Chandrababu said the “Dera Baba headed a good organisation” but he abused his capabilities and violated the faith women had in him.

“He also created militancy and caused violence. In the guise of a sadhu, he has done all these atrocities. Likewise is our man here. So I call him Jagan Baba,” the Chief Minister said.

He alleged Jagan was doing a lot of harm to the society. “If you look at his behaviour in the last three years…it is very clear. Acting, vulgar behaviour, intimidating others, stalling the Assembly proceedings…all these expose his destructive and criminal mindset,” he said.

Reacting to the Nandyal by-election result, he said the people of the constituency were now breathing easy as the YSR Congress, headed by Jagan, has lost.

“The kind of language he (Jagan) used against me during the by-election campaign…it has become a debate across the nation. He toured Nandyal for 13 days and visited every household but people, in all their wisdom, trounced his party,” the TDP supremo noted.

Asked about LoP’s fresh challenge that the TDP make the 20 MLAs, who defected from Jagan-led YSRC, resign and seek fresh elections, the CM shot back saying, “If he is so itching for elections, let him ask his six MPs to quit.”

“Then it will be a bigger game,” he said. Jagan set June as the deadline for the Centre to grant the special category status to AP, failing which he announced the YSRC MPs will resign.

“This is August, so let them resign. We will go for elections,” Chandrababu said.

On the other hand, Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy accepting the defeat, said “since it is not general election but a byelection TDP won”. He even accused the ruling party of instilling fear among the people of Nandyal.

Accusing the ruling party of misusing the power, Jagan said that YSRCP had to take a step back because TDP retorted forcefully by not only spending 200 crore rupees just for one byelection but also deploying its cabinet in Nandyal.

He challenged the turncoats to quit their positions and contest elections. He said “even we want to see how much money TDP will be spend in 20 constituencies”

Jagan said the victory in Nandyal cannot be attributed to Chandrababu Naidu, and that the real war would begin in 2019 elections where YSRCP would show its muscle.

0

On the last day of the Kakinada Municipal elections, the campaign is on full swing in the city.

Central Election Commission orders action against Jagan’s shoot CM remarks

0

Central Election Commission took the “Shoot CM” remarks of Andhra Pradesh Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy very seriously. The comments by Jagan against Chief Minister Chandrababu during the by-election campaign of Nandyal are in violation of the Election Code of Conduct. Expressing reservations over Jagan’s comments, CEC directed the state election commission officials to initiate action immediately.

It may be recalled that Jagan during public address said “shoot CM on the streets for failing to fulfil pre-election promises” and later during roadshow said “it is not wrong to hang people like Chandrababu who utter lies and fail to keep up their promises.”

Initially the TDP leaders lodged a complaint with the state election commission. However, the subtle response from the local officials made the TDP leaders knock the doors of CEC. TDP MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Nimmala Kishtappa along with others filed a complain with CEC. Following the complaint, CEC scrutinised Jagan’s comments and accordingly directed State Election Commission officials to take immediate action.

Embarrassing Experience for Jagan during Poll Campaign

0

As Opposition party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has taken the upcoming Nandyala by-poll very prestigious, he has been campaigning relentlessly in the constituency with the aim of securing a win for his party’s candidate. A few days ago, his statement of ‘shooting CM Chandrababu Naidu in public’ during a public meeting backfired and he had to receive flak from TDP cadres. Now, Jagan has faced yet another embarrassing situation during his poll campaign.

On Sunday, YSP planned to hold a Road show in Nandyala. Party chief Jagan was supposed to address public at Sreenivasa Circle as part of the road show. The campaign which was scheduled to commence at 9 in the morning, didn’t start until 11.30 AM as hardly anyone showed interest in Jagan’s meet.

Poor Jagan had to wait in YCP leader Pratap Reddy’s house for more than two hours for people to turn up for his road show. He may not have anticipated such feeble reception especially when he sees Nandyala by-poll as an opportunity to gain upper hand over ruling TDP.

Jagan — Prashant Kishore parting ways?

0

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy noted that Political strategist Prashant Kishor deserted YSR Congress Party and left for Delhi due to the misbehavior of Opposition Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy. Neither Prashant nor YSRCP has made any such statements. However, the TDP legislator’s comments gain significance in view of the recent reports of incidents of difference in opinion between YSRCP cadre and Prashant.

Last month Prashant was given an official grand welcome at the YSRCP plenary. However, following the announcement, several reports surfaced stating that the YSRCP leaders are allegedly insecure of their position in party due to the strategies of Prashant. Jagan apparently informed the leaders that his decision is finally and that strategist is here only to make suggestions. YSRCP cadre has also claimed that Jagan is getting used the working style of the strategist.

This could also be seen as a tactic from the TDP leader to strengthen the thoughts of YSRCP cadre and consequently cornering Jagan who is extensively conducting roadshows in Nandyal.

Jagan & Akhila invoke father’s legacy, while CM accuses Late YSR

0

Nandyal by-election campaign which started with statements like “If you don’t like my administration, do not take pensions from my government or walk on the roads laid by us” has taken an ugly turn with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister saying “Jagan’s father (YSR) conspired to kill me”

With the 40years of profound experience nobody anticipated that Chandrababu Naidu would resort to low-slung politics by citing the fallen. The Maoist landmine attack at Alipiri in October2003 neither worked in favor of TDP in 2004 elections nor will it work now in the Nandyal by-poll.

The Chief Minister in a lame attempt to put Jagan on spot dragged Y S Rajashekar Reddy by quoting the his supporter Kollam Gangi Reddy who lent extensive logistic support in the form of mobile phones and funds to the Left wing for killing Chandrababu. The investigation into the attack discovered that People’s War Group Naxalites executed it. The TDP supremo on Tuesday reportedly said that YSR contacted the police to let him off the hook in the case.

Prakash Singh Commission submitted the report on claymore mine attack to Chief Minister Chandrababu in 2004. Why did he not probe YSR when he had all the power and means to do so? He would have secured political mileage in the following elections. The same mileage which he is expecting to get now by pelting stones on Jagan.

On the other hand, Jagan also has been citing Late NT Rama Rao during his public meetings to belittle Chandrababu. YSRCP chief accuses the CM of backstabbing his father-in-law NTR. Almost in every meeting Jagan makes it a point to remind people as to how the TDP supremo took away NTR’s Chief Ministerial post and now uses NTR’s photos during elections.

Times have changed and it is longer time to pity the dead, but pity the living. The by-election is due to the untimely death of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. Minister Akhila Priya, daughter of the Late Bhuma, says there is nothing wrong in using her father’s sentiment in the election campaign. She is of the view that if Jagan can roam around carrying his father’s photo, there is nothing wrong in invoking her father’s sentiment.

While Jagan and Akhila Priya march into people with their respective father’s legacy seeking votes, Chandrababu is resorting to mudslinging on the YSR family indirectly by saying that “Jagan wants to shoot me, while his father actually planned to kill me.”

Jagan’s father tried to kill me : Chandrababu

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the former Chief Minister Late Y S Rajashekar Reddy for masterminding the Maoist landmine attack at Alipiri in October2003.

Fourteen years after the attack Naidu alleged that YSR through his supporter Kollam Gangi Reddy lent extensive logistic support in the form of mobile phones and funds to the Left wing for killing him.

Chandrababu went on to say that during YSR regime, Congress tried to weaken his security by blocking lodging facility to the special protection group (SPG) commandos.

The topic came up on Tuesday when TDP leader was reacting to the comments of opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy to shoot the CM dead during Nandyal Campaign. He said Jagan’s father conspired to kill him. He quoted the Former CM of AP Rosaiah who signaled that Jagan was criminal by nature which his father YSR was well aware.

Jagan’s provocative words exposes the shallowness in his party. The TDP supremo said that he maintained composure through his tough times. The investigation into the attack discovered that People’s War Group Naxalites executed it.
