Meher Ramesh calls Vedhalam Cringe

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen in the remake of Vedhalam and the film titled Bhola Shankar is set for release on August 11th. When the trailer of the film was out, a section of the audience called the trailer cringe. During the promotional interviews, Meher Ramesh responded about it. He said that Vedhalam is ten times cringed and he said that they have made enough changes for the Telugu version of the film. He also said that Bhola Shankar is a proper commercial film and it would be a treat for everyone.

Bhola Shankar features Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Meher Ramesh is making his comeback as director after 12 years. AK Entertainments are the producers. Mahati Swara Sagar scored the music. Megastar and his team is currently promoting the film.

Team Bholaa Shankar has been promoting the movie aggressively, as the movie is set for release this week. The film starring megastar Chiranjeevi was directed by Meher Ramesh and it also features Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sushanth.

Meher Ramesh says Bholaa Shankar will have elements for all sections of audiences. “Brother-sister sentiment is the major highlight of the movie, though it will have action and drama. Though it is a remake, we made sufficient changes to suit the image of Chiranjeevi. It used to be like a picnic, as Annayya used to be on friendly terms with everyone.”

The director says there is Chiranjeevi mark entertainment throughout the movie. “Bholaa Shankar will be in the commercial meter of Rowdy Alludu, Gharana Mogudu and Gang Leader. It will have all the elements one would expect in a Chiranjeevi starrer. Fans will enjoy Pawan Kalyan’s mannerisms imitated by Chiranjeevi.”

The movie is up for release on August 11th.

Official: Megastar and Meher Ramesh’s film Announced

Megastar Chiranjeevi gave his nod for Meher Ramesh for the remake of Vedhalam and the makers made an official announcement today and the Mega Euphoria will start at 9 AM tomorrow on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. A special poster is released and the movie will have its official launch in September. The regular shoot commences after Chiranjeevi completes the shoot of Lucifer remake and Acharya. AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials will produce this prestigious project.

Meher Ramesh is done with the scriptwork and the casting process is underway. Keerthy Suresh will be playing the sister of Chiranjeevi and Bhola Shankar is the title speculated for the movie. Mahati Swarasagar is the music director for the film and this movie releases next year.

Megastar Chiranjeevi decided to work without breaks and he is focused on completing the shoot of Acharya at the earliest. He will commence the shoot of Lucifer remake next year and will complete the shooting portions in quick schedules. Mohan Raja will direct this remake and the latest update coming says that Chiranjeevi also gave his nod for Bobby recently. An official announcement about the project too is expected to be made soon.

Chiranjeevi also gave his nod for the remake of Vedhalam. Meher Ramesh is making his comeback as director and the scriptwork of the film got completed months ago. Chiranjeevi gave his final nod but the project got delayed. Meher Ramesh was the first to get the approval after which Lucifer remake and Bobby’s film were finalized. Chiranjeevi is in plans to shoot for Bobby’s film and Vedhalam remake simultaneously and release both these films in a gap of two months. Meher Ramesh is eagerly waiting for an official announcement about the project to be made. AK Entertainments are on board to produce Vedhalam remake.

The latest news we hear is that Meher Ramesh has been asked to direct a web series and Ram Charan will produce this interesting project.

It is unclear if Ram Charan plays the lead role in this web series. Meher Ramesh is currently occupied with the work and things would be finalized soon. Ram Charan’s sister Sushmita recently turned producer with a web series. If Meher Ramesh impressed the audience with this web series, he may soon bag an opportunity to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi. Meher Ramesh to make a comeback with web series

For creating stylised films like Kantri, Billa and Shadow that tumbled at the box office, thereby burning the pockets of producers big time. From a time, he is hanging around Mahesh Babu all the time, giving food for rumour mongers that he will direct a film anytime soon with him.

Piece of news is coming that actually, Meher is trying to make a comeback through web series rather a film. Already Mahesh’s wife Namrata has locked couple of web series scripts and they are looking for right partner (OTT app that buys the content) to go ahead into production. One such script is pitched by Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan, but the director has backed off after everything got ready it seems.

Featuring Jagapathi Babu in the lead, this web series deals with the affairs and stories of a cash-rich lawyer who happens to be a big womanizer. If all goes well, then Meher Ramesh will take the direction reigns to deliver the needful. But this is one of those many projects that got the Billa director’s name associated with and earlier none of them have worked.

Mahesh’s US event : Trusting Meher Ramesh led to debacle

Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu commands a huge fan following among Telugus in USA. This is one of the reasons why a charity event has been planned by MAA with Mahesh Babu as chief guest. The event which was supposed to be held on this 27th has been cancelled due to poor response for tickets from audience there.

Though the organisers are stating that the event was cancelled due to security issues, it is clear that there is no sufficient sale of tickets to go ahead with the plans. It is reliably learnt that poor event management planning is the reason behind the disappointing response from audience.

As MAA team involved in a acrimonious dispute over Chiranjeevi’s event in US earlier this year, they wanted to plan Mahesh Babu’s event with much more care. The association wanted to hire a professional event manager for this event. However, it was Meher Ramesh and a couple of his friends who approached Namrata and assured her to make this event a big success. Trusting them, Namrata gave consent to organise the event even though MAA advised not to do so. But, due to the poor planning by Meher Ramesh’s team, the response for tickets sales is very lukewarm, forcing them to cancel the event. Had there been an experienced event manager, the charity show would have been organised in a grand manner.

Sources say that Namrata is very upset with Meher Ramesh’s shoddy planning and furious over the cancellation of this prestigious event which is a body blow to Mahesh Babu and MAA reputation.
