Rashi Khanna replaces Sree Leela?
Young actor Nithiin and successful director Venky Kudumula are teaming up for the second time for Robinhood and the film is an actioner. Rashmika Mandanna was the leading lady and the actress walked out of the project last year. Sree Leela was approached and the actress signed the film. But the latest development says that Sree Leela too walked out of the project due to undisclosed reasons. The team is in talks with Rashi Khanna for the role and the things will be finalized very soon. An official announcement will be made before the next schedule starts.
Robinhood is a stylish actioner and is made on a big-budget. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this biggie. The next schedule of the film starts next month. Nithiin is also shooting for Thammudu directed by Sriram Venu. The film is an emotional action drama produced by Dil Raju. Nithiin is in plans to release Thammudu and Robinhood this year.
Sharwanand returns back to work
Young actor Sharwanand took a long break and lost weight.. He signed his next film in the direction of Krishna Chaitanya and the film got its official launch today with a pooja ceremony. The shoot commences this week and Rashi Khanna is the leading lady. People Media Factory will produce this entertainer. Trivikram launched the film today.
Sharwanand will be seen speaking in Godavari accent in the film. He earlier did the same in Shatamanam Bhavathi. This film too is set in the backdrop of East Godavari and a portion of the film will be shot there. This untitled flick is a semi-urban entertainer that is laced with a strong emotional drama. The film is aimed for release next year. More details to be announced officially very soon. Sharwanand is also in talks with UV Creations for a film that will be announced soon.

Story : Abhiram ( Naga Chaitanya) is a self-centered individual who achieves big in the corporate field after going through difficult phases in the early stages of his life. After achieving his dream, Abhi turns out to be an ego-centric and workaholic person who is impervious to the feelings of others. In his journey, he comes across Priya ( Rashi Khanna) who supports him financially and becomes a part of his succesful life. But, his self-seeking attitude distances him from his near and dear ones. One such emotional incident makes him realise the importance of expressing gratitude to all those who knowingly or unknowingly helped him during his hard times. So, he takes up a tour to express gratitude to all those who stood by him during his tough times. Rest of the story is how Abhiram goes back to his former self and meets all his friends and enemies who were a part of his journey.
Analysis:
From the day ‘Thank You’ went on floors, there is relatively a low buzz in the audience and the trade circles for various reasons. Director Vikram Kumar didn’t bag a big hit in recent times. Also, the trailers and teasers of Thank You are filled with too much of classy and emotional content. There are no mass or appealing elements in the promotional content. SS Thaman’s music score is a big let down. So, due to all these factors, the expectations are quite less on the film.
As expected, Vikram Kumar came up with an emotional journey which chronicles different stages of Abhiram played by Naga Chaitanya who does a great deal of heavy-lifting by putting up a strong and vigorous peformance. He brings much gravitas to his role with earnest performance. However, that is not sufficient to save this rudderless drama with no proper mission. Heroes going on a thorough soul-searching introspection and correcting themselves is a theme which has been overused numerous times in Telugu cinema. And, Thank You once again takes up the same routine template. Only a few moments in the first half an hour are worth watching while the rest of the film is nothing but a thorough disappointment and difficult the sit through its entirety.
Rashi Khanna gets an emotional role and leans into it very well. Malavika Nair also looks cute and adorable in her role. The visuals captured by PC Sreeram are so heartwarming. SS Thaman did a so-so job with his BGM score. The underwhelming narration takes the wind out of the sail and makes this ride a routine one.

Words fall short to express gratitude, actress Raashi tells fans
Actress Raashi Khanna, who plays the female lead in director Maruthi’s ‘Pakka Commercial’ which is scheduled to hit screens this Friday, on Wednesday expressed her heartfelt gratitude to fans for their unconditional support to her.
Taking to Instagram, the actress said, “The crazy schedules, the 24-hour shifts, the night shoots, the diets, the workouts, the multiple city hopping – every second feels worth it when I get to meet you and see your love and enthusiasm.
“Words always fall short for me to express my gratitude. Thank you for all your love and support through and through. My heart is full! p.s: ‘Pakka Commercial’ releases tomorrow. Hope to really entertain you through this one and bring a smile to your face. Lots of love your way!”
The trailer of the film, which the team released a few days ago, shows Gopichand playing an advocate who does not mind taking the side of law breakers for a handsome sum in the film.
Raashi Khanna joins as an assistant to Gopichand in the film while Sathyaraj, who plays Gopichand’s dad in the film, chooses to appear against his own son for the sake of justice in the film.
The film, that has been written and directed by Maruthi, is being presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Bunny Vass.
Cinematographer Karm Chawla has shot the film while Jakes Bejoy has scored the music of the film, which is scheduled to hit screens on July 1.
Raashi Khanna signs up for Sundar C’s Tamil comedy
Noted Telugu actress Raashi Khanna, who got much attention with her roles in movies like ‘Supreme’, ‘Oohalu Gusagusa Laade’, and ‘Venky Mama’, had appeared in many other roles as well.
As the actress is busy with back-to-back Telugu movies, she is all set to be seen in an upcoming Tamil movie as well.
It is reported that Raashi has joined hands with ‘Aranmanai 3’ director Sundar C for yet another project. Touted to be a commercial, comedy entertainer, this movie is to get on the floors soon. Popular hero Jiiva is to play the main lead in the movie. The team has planned for a schedule, which would be kick-started soon after Makar Sankranti.
Raashi Khanna has had two Tamil releases in recent times – ‘Tuglaq Darbar’ and ‘Aranmanai 3’, which did decently well. Now that Raashi is all set for another Tamil movie, she has high hopes from this project.

Raashi Khanna excited to shoot in sync-sound set-up for ‘Thank You’
Actress Raashi Khanna is currently shooting for her upcoming Telugu film “Thank You” in Milan. This is the first time the actress shoots using sync-sound technology and she is excited.
A sync-sound set-up is one where the sound of the film recorded during a shot makes it to the final edit and doesn’t have to be dubbed separately.
“This is the first time I am shooting for a Telugu film that will be shot with this technique. People will hear my real voice and not a dubbed voice. It’s not easy to be shooting in such a set-up. I am nervous and excited because for the first time the audience will hear my voice over my face,” said Raashi.

Raashi’s upcoming projects include “Tughlaq Durbar”, “Aranmanai 3”, “Methavi” and “Bhramam”. She also awaits the streaming of her digital debut directed by Raj and DK and starring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.

Never lost weight for a role, says Raashi Khanna
Raashi Khanna has oodles of weight. She is now looking slim and fitter. But the actress admits that she didn’t lose the weight for any particular role. She wanted to be fit and hit the gym. “In the glamour industry, one has to maintain their physique well. I have decided to lose weight for the general fitness, not for any movie in particular,” she revealed while promoting her upcoming release ‘Venky Mama’.
She has paired up with Naga Chaitanya in this film and she admits that Chaitanya is the coolest star. She also said she has got a role with substance.
Raashi Khanna has also lined up another release this month – ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’. She is now busy promoting both these movies. Raashi is planning to dub her movies henceforth though she didn’t mouth her dialogues in ‘Venky Mama’. She has dubbed herself in Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘World Famous Lover’.

Rashi Khanna to romance Ravi Teja?

Story:
Srinivasa Kalyanam is all about what happens when a marriage alliance is set between two contrasting backdrop families. The interlaced theme highlights the significance of telugu traditional marriages and underlines the importance of joint families and relations. Srinivas Raju ( Nithiin ) loves Rudraraju Sridevi alias Sree ( Raashi Khanna) and both parents agree for their marriage. While agreeing for the marriage, Vasu’s Father-in-law RK (Prakash Raj) throws a crazy pre-condition to Vasu, with a counter one Vasu accepts it. Rest of the story is about whether they stick to their conditions by the time marriage occurs or not.
Performances:
This film has a stellar star casting. Even for small characters, they signed up very reputed actors. Nithiin as vasu , who loves his family very much, portrayed the role efficiently. Raashi Khanna is very cute as Sree – Vasu’s love interest and bride . Poonam Kaur plays Sree’s elder sister role , Nandita Sweta plays vasu’s maradalu ( Sister-in-law) role. Prakash raj plays rich father role with ease, Rajendraprasad and Naresh got smaller roles with little scope to perform. Jayasudha as grandmother plays a preaching role convincingly. Praveen, Satyam Rajesh and Vidyullekha Raman take care of comedy department. Yesteryear heroines Aamani, Sitara play mother roles. There are many other known actors even in insignificant roles
Analysis:
Producer, director Dil Raju , Vegesna Satish are known for feel good movies with family values , and the duo yet again came up with a film that is on expected lines. Story wise nothing creative out there, it is fairly simple one. What make this film appeal to families is the showcased traditions of the marriage in telugu families. It subtly reminds us the sensibilities we forgot as we grow in this materialistic world. Director pinpoints at the current busy generation who doesn’t even spend few minutes at the weddings they attend. To establish his point, the director has written the drama from two families’ point of view. One family represents urbanized rich, second represents traditional joint village family. That premise give scope to properly compare and contrast the both sides’ arguments. In first half Srinivas, Sree love thread is okay but could have been better.. They quickly come to marriage decision
First half of the movie is good paced, second half is family oriented. Youth may feel bit uncomfortable with lengthy dialogues in 2nd half. Sameer Reddy photography captures the picturesque Godavari districts.

‘ Sriniavas Kalyanam ‘ is another feel good movie which highlights the significance of traditional marriage. Director also establishes what healthy extended family relations could make a difference in our lives in present materialistic world. As this is a concept based film, towards the end the point becomes redundant and preachy. Overall, a Good and must watch film for family audience! We need to wait and see how youth will embrace this film.

Raashi Khanna Condemns Rumours in Style!
The bubbly actress Raashi Khanna made humble debut with Srinivas Avasarala’s Oohalu Gusagusalaade and became the girl next door of Tollywood instantly. Her natural acting, subtle beauty and grace earned her many fans across the two states. Her recent film Tholi Prema featured her in a strong female lead role and fetched her many accolades.
