Director Venu Udugula’s second movie Virata Parvam starring Virata Parvam celebrates its pre-release event today with Venkatesh, Ram Charan and Sukumar gracing it. The period drama film has completed all the formalities, including censor and it has got U/A certificate from censor sleuths.
151 minutes is the final runtime of the movie which is scheduled for release on 17th of this month. Length is also playing crucial role of late and the makers of Virata Parvam opted for a crisp runtime.
What’s more, censor officials have reportedly applauded the team, as they were spellbound by the heart-touching love saga. Both Sai Pallavi and Rana won good marks from the officials for their performance in the movie.
Fortunately for Virata Parvam, the movie will not have big competition for at least three weeks. So, if the movie receives positive response post release, it will emerge as a winner!

‘Virata Parvam’ set for grand release; Venkatesh, Ram Charan to attend pre-release event
The much-anticipated film ‘Virata Parvam’, starring Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati, will be released in theatres on June 17.
The celebrity guests who will be present at the pre-release event have been announced by the producers of this revolution-based love story.
The makers of ‘Virata Parvam’ took to social media to announce that three superstars – Venkatesh, Ram Charan, and Sukumar – will attend the pre-release event at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on June 15.
The film has completed all pre-release procedures, including the censorship process. A ‘U/A’ certificate has been given to the film whose duration has been reported to be 2 hours and 31 minutes.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas and presented by Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions, the movie has Nandita Das, Priyamani, Eeswari Rao, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Naveen Chandra in crucial roles. Suresh Bobbili has rendered the soundtracks for this film.

‘Virata Parvam’ director lauds Rana for promoting heroine-centered film
Venu Udugula, the director of ‘Virata Parvam’, said at one of the film’s promotional events that Rana Daggubati deserves praise for his work. Despite the fact that the heroine is the focus of the plot, Rana consented to appear in ‘Virata Parvam’, which the director claims make him humble.
Rana and Sai Pallavi-starrer ‘Virata Parvam’ has a decent buzz ahead of its premiere. To boost the buzz, the film’s producers had organised the ‘Aathmeeya Vedika’ event earlier on Sunday.
Venu Udugula began his remarks by thanking all of the distinguished visitors and members of the film crew, saying: “Warangal is the site where even failures are reincarnated as revolutions.”
And it is in such a setting that I am struck by one of the fatalities that occurred in 1992.
“I was taken aback when I learned that, the particular death was linked to a number of political issues. So I decided to write a tale about it, and I brought that story to you, mixed with a great love story.
“When I started composing the narrative, I started dreaming about this particular role, Vennela. This isn’t a typical girl’s love. It’s like Siddheshwari’s love for Lord Shiva, so pure and sacred. I’m overjoyed that Sai Pallavi accepted to play this role,” he continued.
Venu Udugula said: “Even if Rana tackles modest activities like presenting a short film or distributing a small film, he elevates whatever he does into an art piece. For this film, he did the same. I’d want to express my gratitude to him for agreeing to perform in a film with a significant role for Vennela (heroine).
“Heroes of his stature might think twice to act in a role with lesser importance for a hero. But, he is so humble. Mainly ladies should watch this film.”

Virata Parvam Is A Real And Wonderful Story: Rana

Director Venu Udugula has become emotional talking to the crowd. “Warangal is the land of revolution. A death in this area in 1992 moved me and it made me think. There is politics behind that death. I have always had a strong desire to bring it to the screen anyway. Adding a nice love story to it and bringing this film to you as an epic. I feel lucky to have Sai Pallavi play the role of the Vennela. Rana plays a character who can turn a lump of clay into a bomb. It is not my greatness that he is starring in this film that credit belongs to him. Virataparvam is a film especially for women to watch,” he emotionally said.

The makers behind Thank You Brother, which starred Anasuya Bharadwaj, Viraj Aswin, Anish Kuruvilla, and a stellar cast. The film was directed by Ramesh Raparthy. This talented crew is ready to take audiences on another crazy journey with their second production.
Rana Daggubati, a talented hero, unveiled a concept poster for this intriguing project with a title. The film titled Maya Petika is gaining steam. After seeing the brilliant poster, the anticipation intensified.
The minimal shooting set at down, a mountain with location symbols, and a mobile in the centre of the poster that includes the title of the film and also reveals that the plot is linked to smartphone in the poster. A monkey and love couple on opposite sides of a building. Everyone’s interest was peaked by the poster, and everyone is eager to learn more about the project, which will be announced later.

Love is the biggest form of revolution- it’s the theme of Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming movie Virata Parvam directed by Venu Udugula. The film’s theatrical trailer has been launched today.
Inspired from true events of 1990s, the trailer discloses the plotline of the movie that covered many issues which caused the evolution of Naxalite movement in the Telangana region nearly three decades ago. It’s the love story of Vennela played by Sai Pallavi with the revolutionary leader Ravanna essayed by Rana Daggubati.
The situations in Telangana in 90s are authentically shown, wherein there is a magic in the love story. The true love is guided by great feelings of love and the same is portrayed through Vennela and Ravanna’s characters.
Rana and Sai Pallavi are exceptional in their respective roles, while others too played their parts efficiently. The dialogues are one of the major strengths.
Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Productions have jointly bankrolled the movie slated for release on 17th of this month.
Rana Daggubati fires back at troll over ‘Virata Parvam’ poster
Rana Daggubati proved he is one of the coolest actors as he gracefully shut down a troll who made an offensive remark about his presence in the upcoming movie ‘Virata Parvam’.
Quoting an insensitive remark on the recently released poster of ‘Virata Parvam’, an online user wrote, “What, these people can’t even keep a standard in their own banner’s movies? Rana’s face is chopped off highlighting Sai Pallavi’s. Trying to sell a film by showing a heroine is perhaps Rana’s style”.
Because Rana’s family-run production house was also dragged into the situation, the Twitter user’s comment is not only irrelevant but also insensitive.
Rana handled the situation calmly and effectively, effectively shutting down the troll.
“It is considered a privilege when you choose to be humble and allow the film to gain deserved attention thanks to the heroine’s well-written role. Because it is my own banner, I am able to attempt such great things,” wrote Rana.

Rana, Venkatesh wrap up shoot of ‘Ray Donovan’ adaptation ‘Rana Naidu’
The shoot of the action-drama streaming series ‘Rana Naidu’ was wrapped up recently. In a casting coup, the series marks the coming together of two of Telugu cinema’s charismatic megastars, the nephew-uncle duo Rana Daggubati, who plays the titular character and Venkatesh Daggubati, who essays Venky Naidu in the series.
The Hindi series which will be available to stream on Netflix, has been shot majorly in Mumbai and follows the life of the city’s go-to-fixer. Rana Naidu does the dirty work for the top power players; making the problems of the city’s celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls disappear.
In addition, the series also stars Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajesh Jais in pivotal roles, and has been directed by the duo Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma.

The film’s release is pushed due to the delay in the post-production work. The makers now decided to prepone the release of Virata Parvam.
Virata Parvam will now the screens on June 17th which was blocked for Ramarao On Duty. The makers will make an official announcement about the same this evening. Venky and Rana wraps up Rana Naidu
Daggubati actors Venkatesh and Rana are on board for a web series that is titled Rana Naidu. The entire shooting portion of Rana Naidu is completed. It is the official adaptation of Netflix American series Ray Donovan. Karan Anshuman who directed Inside Edge and Mirzapur helmed the web series. Rana Naidu will stream on Netflix next year and the post-production formalities will be completed by the end of the year. Rana and Venkatesh have been keen to work together for a film but the project never materialized.
Impressed with the content of Ray Donovan, the duo signed the web series. A major portion of the shoot took place in Mumbai and Hyderabad. During the pandemic days, top digital platform Netflix offered a hefty price for the direct digital release of Virata Parvam but the deal was kept on hold. Suresh Babu closed the deals of Naarappa and Drushyam 2 but the deal of Virata Parvam was yet to be closed. The film is delayed by months and the release chart of films for the upcoming months are announced.
The makers have sold the non-theatrical rights of Virata Parvam recently. Sony LIV acquired the digital streaming rights of Virata Parvam. None of the recent Rana’s films fared well at box-office and there is no proper release date for the film in the next six months. Rana and his team are now in plans to close the theatrical deals and announce the release date. Virata Parvam will now head for a theatrical release soon.
Rs 42 Cr for Rana Daggubati’s Virata Parvam

The satellite rights will fetch Rs 8 crores and the makers will make Rs 50 crores comfortably without any risk if they head for a direct digital release.
