Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is paired up with young Tollywood sensation Vijay Devarakonda for the second time. After impressing audience with their cracking on-screen chemistry in Geetha Govindham, the duo is set for an encore in Dear Comrade which is hitting the screens this Summer.

The first teaser of Dear Comrade was unveiled a few days ago and the steamy lip-lock between the lead pair has become a talking point among everyone. Critics felt that the makers are trying to grab the attention of youth audience and opined this as the reason why lip-lock scenes are dime a dozen in Telugu films these days. But, Rashmika said that the scene is absolutely necessary as story demanded it and revealed that audience would understand the importance of the scene after watching the film.

It is a known fact that there was a lip-lock scene in Geetha Govindham which was edited out by the makers in the last minute. However, the clip came out and went viral in social media. There were also speculations that this is also one of the reasons why Rashmika’s marriage with Kannada actor Raksith was called off.

The stupendous success of Geetha Govindham made Rashmika Mandanna one of the most sought after starlets in Tollywood at present. Her comic timing and glamorous looks are a big hit among younger generation audience.

The Kirik Party girl is currently busy with two upcoming films :Dear Comrade with Vijay Devarakonda and Nag – Nani multi-starrer Devadas. After these two films, she is likely to pair up with Nithiin in Chalo director Venky Kudumula’s direction.

It is well known that Rashmika made her debut in Telugu with Chalo and drew attention for her lovely screen presence. Venky wants to use her new found craze to a better effect in Nithiin’s film and penned a quirky character for her. She is likely to jump on board very soon.

Apart from this project, she has also been approached for a couple of other upcoming films. She is also busy with Kannada projects as well. So Geetha Govindham success has surely come at the right time for this happening beauty.

The chirpy and pretty looking actress Rashmika Mandanna has been on the buzz this year with back to back hits Chalo and the recent Geetha Govindam paired with Vijay Deverakonda.  She will also be seen opposite Natural Star Nani in the upcoming release Devadasu.  Rashmika was engaged to Rakshit Shetty but many rumors said she called off the engagement.

While the couple initially denied the news, the sources say that she indeed called off the relationship because of compatibility problems.  She took this decision after consulting her family and friends and went through a rough patch during the phase.

This must have come a shock for Rashmika especially when she is getting great offers in South Indian Films as of now. But the actress is determined to prove her mettle as an actress and sure would!
