Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is the biggest hit of the year and Atlee made his Bollywood entry with this film. Atlee is rushed with several offers and he is working on various scripts but nothing has been finalized yet. He also met Tollywood actors like NTR and Allu Arjun and they are occupied with multiple projects. Atlee met SRK again recently and there are reports that the duo will team up soon. Atlee is working on the script currently and the film will roll next year if SRK gets convinced with the idea pitched by Atlee.

Atlee also takes ample time to complete the script and Shah Rukh Khan can complete his signed projects in the while. Red Chillies Entertainment will bankroll the project and it would be announced next year. SRK is done with Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani and the film releases on December 21st.

Official: Prabhas to clash with SRK

The official new release date of Salaar is out and the film will hit the screens on December 22nd across the globe in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The film will also head for a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki directed by the country’s best director Rajkumar Hirani. SRK is in terrific form and he delivered two biggest blockbusters of his career: Pathan and Jawan.

The team of Salaar is not ready to miss the holiday season and announced a clash with Dunki. Salaar too is carrying mighty expectations. Prashanth Neel directed this action thriller that is in the final stages of shoot. Prabhas is in Europe and he will complete the pending song in November. Shruti Haasan is the heroine and Hombale Films are the producers of Salaar.

Dil Raju bags an SRK Film

Top producer Dil Raju is trying hard to make his impact in Bollywood. Both his attempts Jersey and HIT failed badly at the North Indian box-office. Though it is known to few, Dil Raju is shuttling between Mumbai and Hyderabad and he is in talks for some interesting Hindi films. The top producer now bagged the theatrical rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Jawan which is slated for September 7th release across the globe. Atlee is the director and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment are the producers.

Dil Raju bagged the theatrical rights of the film for the Telugu states on a distribution basis. The theatrical rights of the film for all the Indian languages are valued at Rs 250 crores. The non-theatrical rights of Jawan fetched record prices and the makers would make handsome profits before the release of the film. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra will be playing other important roles in this high-voltage actioner.

Pathaan numbers boost up Bollywood

Bollywood has been going through a lean phase post-pandemic. Several biggies fell short of expectations and failed to report even minimum numbers at the ticket windows. South films like KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR emerged as the biggest openers in the country last year. None of the Hindi films managed to top the list. This is the highest-ever opener for an Indian film in the recent years.

Pathaan response has been decent and the film is expected to do good business all over. Pathaan turned out to be a huge boost for Bollywood. ‘Will burn Shah Rukh Khan alive’: Ayodhya seer

Seers from Ayodhya have now waded into the controversy over Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’.

Mahant Paramhans Acharya of Tapasvi Chhavni, has said that he would even go to the extent of burning Shah Rukh Khan alive if he ever met him.

Paramhans Acharya added that the saffron colour has been insulted in the ‘Besharam Rang’ song.

“People of our Sanatan Dharma are protesting continuously regarding this. Today we have burnt the poster of Shahrukh Khan. If I get to meet the film Jihadi Shah Rukh Khan, I will burn him alive,” the seer said.

Acharya did not stop at that. He went on to say that if ‘Pathaan’ film was released in theatres, he would set them on fire.

He also appealed people to boycott ‘Pathaan’.

Earlier, the priest of Hanuman Garhi, Mahant Raju Das, had also protested against the film.

Politicians and right-wing supporters are protesting over saffron coloured outfits in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ in the film.

SRK’s Pathaan lands into a Controversy

Shah Rukh Khan is making his comeback to mainstream cinema after a long gap with Pathaan. The film directed by Siddharth Anand is also one of the most expensive films on the Indian screen. The first single Besharam Rang was out recently and the sizzling presence of Deepika Padukone in a bunch of bikinis made the song an instant hit. Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra called to ban Pathaan for using the saffron costumes and objectionable scenes in the released song. This triggered a controversy and the activists of Veer Shivaji Group staged a massive protest in Indore today. The protests set the effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on fire and demanded a ban on the film.

The activists said that the Hindu communities were insulted through the Besharam Rang song. Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra called up for a rectification of the song else the film would face troubles in the state. Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of 2023 and it will release on January 25th, 2023. John Abraham essays the role of the lead antagonist in this high-voltage action thriller that is produced by Yash Raj Films.
