Venky – Tharun film takes a backseat

0

The Telugu remake of ‘Asuran’ will be Venkatesh’s next movie. The senior Daggubati star informed the media today that he is kicked about to this intense movie. He loved ‘Asuran’ and has immediately given his dates to the remake on a priority basis.

With this Venky’s move, director Tharun Bhaskar will have to for many months. Tharun had already impressed Venkatesh with a story but he has not finished the script in time. So, Venkatesh has preferred ‘Asuran’ remake over Tharun’s movie that is set in the backdrop of the Malakapet race club.

The ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director has tried his stint as an actor but that didn’t yield desired results. ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’ was his debut film as a lead actor but the movie bombed. Now, he to focus on the direction.

Tharun Bhascker has time and again made it clear that he will be writing the final draft of the script for Venkatesh. He has earlier given a rough narration about a guy facing the midlife crisis. He has not yet given the final narration to Venky. But soon after the flop of Tharun Bhascker’s maiden film as the lead hero bombed, rumors have started floating that Venkatesh has rejected the director’s story.

When he has not narrated the full story to Venkatesh, the question of canceling the project doesn’t arise. Tharun Bhascker is miffed with these rumors.

He will write the final version of the draft and will begin working on the pre-production from January. The movie in this combination is very much on. Producer Suresh Babu likes Tharun Bhascker and his ideas.

Tharun Bhascker still not prepared the full script

0

Tharun Bhascker has a big star’s dates readily available. A producer is after him to start the movie. But this ‘sukoon’ director is taking his own sweet time to finish the script. Tharun has already narrated the basic storyline to Venkatesh. The story is about horse race and punter. Set in the Malakpet race club in Hyderabad, the film will showcase Venkatesh in an altogether new dimension.

But Tharun revealed that he has not written the final draft of the script. He has been busy with the promotional activity of “Meeku Maathrame Cheptha”, his maiden movie as the lead hero. The film is releasing this November 1st.

He has promised Venkatesh that he would give the final draft by January. So, this film will only go to the sets early next year. Meanwhile, Venkatesh may start working on the remake of ‘Asuran’.

Upset with critics, Tharun Bhascker deletes social media accounts

Tharun Bhascker shot fame with Pelli Choopulu which brought him wide appreciation along with a bunch of awards. Two years after the release of Pelli Choopulu, Tharun is back with his second directorial Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi which released on Friday. The film received mixed response from the audience as well as the critics. Most of the reviews said that the film failed to live up the expectations and impressed only in parts. Upset with the reviews, Tharun Bhascker slammed the reviewers saying that they are unaware of the screenplay writing and other aspects of film making.

Now going ahead, he deleted his facebook and Instagram accounts. The young director has been quite active on facebook from the past couple of years and now with Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi receiving mixed reviews, Tharun Bhascker decided to stay away from social media. Vishwak Sen, Sai Sushanth, Abhinav Gomatam, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Anisha Ambrose and Simran Chowdary played the lead roles in Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi which has been produced by Suresh Productions.

Tharun Bhascker’s ‘Amateurish’ comment on reviewers

0

Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker has commented harshly on reviewers after his latest offering Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi got below par reviews in some websites. In his Instagram post, he opined that those who write reviews have zero knowledge on various aspects involved in filmmaking.

Requesting audience not to compare this buddy comedy with Pelli Choopulu, Tharun said that he could never satisfy some websites. He added that reviewers are horrible and unqualified to review a movie. He suggested that a review should be given by a person who has atleast done a film appreciation course.

It seems the young director has forgotten how Pelli Choopulu got huge boost due to super positive reviews from all corners. Tharun should bear in mind that it is the rave reviews that have helped Pelli Choopulu emerge as a huge commercial hit despite its low star cast.

His ‘amateurish’ comments on reviews now make one feel that he is getting carried away by the fact that audience and critics are little disappointed with the film which could have been more better on various aspects.

He should also note that Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi garnered to impress some sections of audience and few critics have also rated the film on the scale of 3 out of five for this entertaining factor.

Talented director Tharun Bhascker hogged the limelight after delivering a sensational hit Pelli Choopulu. He is now back with yet another interesting film titled as Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, the trailer of which has been unveiled today.

The two minute trailer takes us on a fun ride with quirkily etched characters and peppy milieu. The trailer presents the tale of a group of fun-loving and happy go lucky friends who pursue different goals. Anisha Ambrose is the only familiar face in the cast and the rest and new appearances.

Looks like Tharun has weaved a tight comic plot yet again to aim at the younger generation audience. The dialogues are laced with humour aplenty and promises an out and out hilarious drama.

Pelli Choopulu director faces backlash from NTR fans

0

It may be recalled that Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker openly condemned ‘IIFA’ for not rewarding small films. He publicly opined that small films are being ignored during most of the award functions and stated that stardom has overshadowed good cinema and talented technicians in Tollywood. These comments invited severe criticism from fans of star heroes.

Now, the young director is involved in yet another controversial issue. He is facing a severe backlash for his comments on NTR he made during a recent interview. It is heard that Tharun made humorous comments on NTR and the video has been clipped out and is being circulated as a propaganda against the actor.

Yesterday, Tharun took to Facebook to clarify on this issue. He said that he has utmost respect on NTR and has no intention whatsoever to comment on him. He also apologized to NTR and his fans for his comments.

But, NTR fans haven’t refrained from taking a dig at the director. They posted severe abuses in his Facebook page and also edited his Wikipedia page.

Responding on this severe backlash, Tharun said that he will give out an open apology to NTR and his fans through media. He pleaded fans to let the issue boil down.
