Jagan using Kapu Ministers for all wrong missions

0

In Coastal Andhra Pradesh also, the YCP has got resounding victory. But, the ruling party’s dominant Reddy community is not strong enough in this region. Especially from Guntur to Srikakulam, Reddys are in a minority. As a result, CM Jagan Reddy has turned to the Kapus to use them effectively in his counter attacks against opposition. He is using Kapu Ministers to criticise Pawan Kalyan whenever Jana Senani agitates against the government’s policies.

But, non-YCP Kapu community leaders say that Jagan is maligning the image of their community by using their caste Ministers for all wrong reasons. In fact, Pawan criticised Vijayasai Reddy as a ‘Man Friday’ for he has to attend the CBI court in Rs. 43,000-Cr illegal assets cases of Jagan. To counter this, Kapu Minister Perni Nani came forward and called Pawan ‘Man Three Wives’.

Perni Nani went to the extent of calling Pawan Kalyan a casteist leader with lot of bias. He further said that Pawan may be a success like Gabbar Singh in cinema field but he will be a failure like Rabber Singh in politics.

On the other hand, another Kapu Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is getting all the bad name with regard to the demolition of Amaravati Capital City. No Reddy Minister and not even CM Jagan Reddy are making any comments. But Botsa is facing public anger everytime he talks giving hints on shifting Capital City without any clarity and with lots of confusion.

Did Jagan go to jail because of my three marriages? asks Pawan

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan came out with a direct counter attack against AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on the issue of his marital track record. Pawan asked CM what’s wrong if he had three marriages? Was it because of these marriages of mine that Jagan Reddy had to go to jail for nearly two years? I had to do it because of my earlier marriages did not work well. Was it because of my multiple marriages that Jagan formed suitcase companies to amass illegal assets? Senani asked.

Pawan came before the media during his current visit to Amaravati. He asked why CM is repeatedly talking about his marriages. Pawan asked what’s the problem of Jagan about his marriages. He said that if Jagan has problems in his marriage, he can also go for multiple marriages. In an angry tone, Pawan advised Jagan Reddy to behave respectably and responsibly like a Chief Minister but not an average YCP leader. How can a CM criticise even Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu instead of taking his elderly advice?

Fearing Naidu, Pawan’s agitations, Jagan announces Sand Week from Nov. 14 !

0

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s failure to ensure adequate sand supplies in Andhra Pradesh has led to scores of construction workers committing suicides due to lack of work and livelihood besides rendering lakhs of workers jobless with construction activity coming to a halt across the state.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan already held a “long march” in Vizag against Jagan’s failure to provide sand, which was a huge hit.

TDP chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu has announced to sit on one day hunger strike on November 14 on sand shortage issues.

All these developments have put Jagan in a fix.

Feared at rising discontentment against his government, Jagan finally sprung into action today to address the sand shortage issue.

He directed officials to hold “Sand Week” from November 14 to 21 with the sole aim of taking up sand mining in all the sand reaches and increase sand supplies and availability across the state.

This is for the first time in the country that any CM has decided to conduct a special ‘sand week’ to ensure sand supplies.

This shows how severe the sand shortage in AP and how much criticism Jagan is facing from all quarters in AP for his inability to provide sand.

Jagan, who ignored all the demands for sand all these days finally was forced to act after Pawan and Chandrababu took to streets with the support of people.

Jagan selected November 14 to launch sand week, the day on which Naidu decided to sit on hunger strike. This shows how Naidu’s agitation programme has impacted Jagan.

Jana Sena not to fall for Jagan attention diversion tactics

0

The Jana Sena Party issued an official Tweet asking its sympathisers not to give any angry responses to CM Jagan Reddy’s shocking personal comments against Pawan Kalyan. The Jana Sena said that while their Senani is raising issues of public importance, the Chief Minister is making personal remarks obviously to divert the attention of the people. The Jana Sainiks are asked not to fall prey to the attention diversion tactics of a CM, who has a notorious track record behind himself.

Within hours of Jagan Reddy comments on Pawan ‘wives and children’, there were heated exchanges between Jana Sena and YCP followers on the social media. Pawan fans became greatly alarmed and launched non-stop personal counter attacks. To cool the tempers, Jana Senani held discussions with his party leaders. He suggested that the Jana Sena should not fall into the trap of Jagan Reddy’s attention diversion game.

The Senani is of the view that YCP Regime has been under tremendous pressure ever since the resounding success of Vizag Long March protest. Hence, Pawan decided not to prolong debates on personal issues but put increased pressure on Jagan Reddy on his Cash Transfer welfare promises and people’s problems.

Jagan’s shockingly personal comment on Pawan ‘wives and children’

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has made a scathing attack on Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu and on Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan on the issue of English medium in government schools. Jagan especially made the most shocking comments on Pawan.

Jagan Reddy asked whether Pawan, who has three wives, is not giving English education to his children? The CM said that Pawan has got four to five children who are apparently having good English education. Then, why is Pawan making so much noise on the government programme. Doesn’t he want children of poor families to get English medium like his own children? Jagan asked.

AP CM has also taken strong objection to Venkaiah Naidu’s statements. This is the first time that Jagan has made an open attack on the Vice-President. The CM asked whether Venkaiah Naidu’s grand children are not getting top class English education or not. Ironically, Jagan chose to make these criticisms from the the venue of National Education Day celebrations marking Moulana Abul Kalam Azad birthday.

Jagan proved Chandrababu was right!

0

One may make any number of baseless allegations or resort to wild criticism against others in politics to gain political mileage but when it comes to reality, what it matters is truth and practicality

AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy too realised this when he met union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Vijayawada recently.

Jagan used to level baseless allegations and wild criticism on Naidu on the issue of setting up petrochemical complex in Kakinada at a cost of Rs 30,000 crore, when he was Leader of Opposition.

The Centre wanted AP government to pay Rs 5,000 crore as viability gap funding (VGF) to launch this project. Naidu as CM then fought with Centre to reduce VGF to Rs 1,500 crore as a revenue deficit state like AP after bifurcation cannot afford to pay Rs 5,000 crore. This led to delay in the project. Jagan then used to accuse Naidu of delaying this project deliberately.

Now, Jagan became CM. When he met Dharmendra Pradhan last week, Jagan made the same request urging him to reduce VGF and start the project immediately,

Dharmendra Pradhan told Jagan that earlier Naidu also used to make the same request due to which the project got delayed.

Jagan said AP’s financial condition continues to be worse and as such AP cannot afford to pay Rs 5,000 crore. Pradhan told him that he will take up this issue with PM Modi and he cannot assure anything on this on his own.

With this, it became clear that this project got delayed due to Centre’s insistence on Rs 5,000 crore VGF and not because of Naidu, as alleged by Jagan.

Now Jagan realised that he has nothing much to do on this project except seeking the help of Centre like Naidu did.

Jagan should learn from KCR, advises Pawan

0

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan advised AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy to learn from his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao on how to safeguard Telugu language and Telugu culture.

Pawan says while KCR has decided to hold International Telugu Conferences in Telangana to promote Telugu language and culture, Jagan is doing just the opposite.

Pawan took to twitter today to vent his ire on Jagan on his decision to ban Telugu Medium in government schools in AP.

Lavishing praises at KCR, the Jana Sena chief posted the cover page of “Toli Poddu’, which was published by KCR’s government in Telangana with an aim to promote Telugu by compiling the good works of peots in Telangana.

“YCP leadership should take lessons from Telangana CM “Sri KCR” how to safeguard language and culture. Toli poddu book was brought for Telugu Mahasabhalu in 2017, Hyderabad,” tweeted Pawan.

Pawan even took a dig at AP Official Language Commission for keeping calm even after AP government was trying to remove Telugu Medium from Government Schools.

“If the YCP leaadership would have understood the true wealth of Telugu Language, they wouldn’t have come with such preposterous policy of banning Telugu Medium in government schools, ” Pawan tweeted.

Pawan also expressed his love for Telugu saying that, “The recent decision of YCP led AP Govt’s policy of banning Telugu medium in Govt schools made me look at “Telugu books” in my library with a great admiration, love and care.

Jagan avoids court appearance on first Friday

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy did not personally appear before the Hyderabad CBI Court today. This is the first Friday since the court refused to give exemption to Jagan from personal appearance every Friday before the court hearings in the Rs 43,000-cr illegal assets cases. Jagan’s advisors did lot of brainstorming on whether the CM should attend the court or not. Finally, they decided to avoid personal appearance as this would put lot of embarrassment politically to the YCP government in the state and at the national level.

The national media is also waiting for a chance to discredit Jagan Circar after its media gag GO. Moreover, AP Government humiliated the Press Council of India on the issue of the National Press Day celebrations. Harsh media coverage is indeed making CM Jagan Reddy to somehow avoid court appearances in his official capacity as the CM. Today, Jagan pleaded for absence as he is to be available in Andhra in view of the Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s visit to the state. The court has accepted the CM petition.

Legal experts say that Jagan will not be able to go on getting absent permissions every Friday. If he avoids appearance without informing, the court may issue arrest warrant against him. That would be national level humiliation for the YCP. The Supreme Court may not consider Jagan petition for exemption from personal appearance favourably. It all looks Jagan is caught in a checkmate.

Opinion – Is it worth spending Rs 15 cr public money on Jagan’s private building?

0

As they say, “Preaching are meant only for others, not to follow for those who preach them”.

YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has aptly proved this again.

When Chandrababu Naidu was CM, Jagan used to raise hue and cry over Naidu splurging money on his camp office in Amaravathi.

But Jagan after becoming CM is breaking all the records in wasting public money on his private building in Tadepalli.

Jagan spent Rs 15 crore public money on his Tadepalli residence within five months of becoming CM in the name of laying roads, widening roads, security arrangements, setting up helipad, parking facilities, CCTV cameras etc. Just for fixing new aluminium windows and doors, he spent Rs 73 lakh.

But the question is “Is it worth spending Rs 15 crore on Jagan’s private building’.

With this amount, a new building can be constructed, which will remain as an asset to AP government and will be useful for other CMs in future.

Jagan is not permanent as CM. Someday he has to step down. Then all the expenditure made on Jagan’s house utilising public money will benefit Jagan and his family members.

It’s the people of AP who will be at loss as their hard-earned money being paid to government through various taxes is being siphoned off by Jagan for his personal benefit.

Jagan playing not only with ‘present’ but also ‘future’ of AP!

0

YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has recently decided to sell off government lands in the state to raise funds for implementing his ‘Navaratnalu schemes’.

By doing so, Jagan is not only playing with ‘present’ of AP but also the ‘future’ of AP.

If Jagan sells government assets to create more assets in the state, nobody will not have any objection.

But he wants to sell government assets, which actually belong to the people of AP, to fund his Navaratnalu schemes, which fetched him votes in recent Assembly polls and helped him to become CM at a younger age.

Everyone knows that Navaratnalu are nothing but schemes to distribute ‘free money’ to people and get votes for YSRCP in return. This ‘unproductive spending’ also makes people lazy.

Navaratnalu will not create any assets for AP or for future generations in AP.

The hard earned taxpayers money will be evaporated with these kind of schemes.

Now the money raised through sale of government lands will also evaporate within no time as it will be distributed for people and YSRCP supporters.

The government lands will also vanish along with money.

What AP government will have to meet future needs?

Today Jagan may be CM and tomorrow another will come. Jagan is not permanent but AP state and AP people will be permanent.

Jagan has nothing to lose if AP’s lands are sold out. But AP state and AP people will suffer with no assets for AP in the long run.

Then the subsequent governments will be forced to acquire lands of AP people to meet future needs.

With his ‘reverse decision’, Jagan is harming the ‘present’ of AP and with his decision to sell off government lands, he is putting even AP’s ‘future’ at risk.

Shift Capital to Pulivendula: Pawan ultimate advice to Jagan

0

The overwhelming success of Vizag ‘Long March’ is breathing new energy into Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. He stayed back in Vizag and told his party cadres that the latest success made him forget the defeat he suffered in Gajuwaka assembly segment in last election. He made an ultimate attack on CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s policies with regard to demolitions and destructions.

Pawan sarcastically said that it would be be better for Jagan to shift Andhra Capital to his native Pulivendula assembly constituency in the faction-ridden Kadapa district. Then it would be easier for the CM to shuttle between the shifted Capital and the High Court at Kurnool. These comments are made as there are reports that Jagan has already decided to shift HC and it’s just a matter of time.

Pawan said that he is a very strong man and that he will continue to voice the sufferings of the common people without any compromise. YCP Ministers are thinking that they can strike fear in Jana Sena. Pawan said that nobody can shake his morale. A strong belief in idealogy will give strength and will power to stand against even a mountain, Pawan told party cadres.

Jagan scraps order renaming Kalam Awards after furore

0

Amid a furore over renaming a state award named after former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday scrapped the order.

A day after a government order (GO) was issued changing the “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar Awards’ to “YSR Vidya Puraskars”, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government came under attack from various quarters.

According to officials, Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered scrapping of the order after it came to his notice. “He warned the officials and firmly said that the awards should continue in the name of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam,” they said.

The awards are to be given to meritorious students on National Education Day on November 11, the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.

The Chief Minister also ordered officials to present awards in the names of Mahatma Gandhi, B.R. Ambedkar, Jyotirao Phule and Babu Jagjivan Ram.

The education department had on Monday issued an order renaming the awards after late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Popular as YSR, Rajasekhara Reddy was father of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ever since YSRCP came to power in May, many welfare schemes were renamed. Most of the schemes are now named after YSR.

However, for the latest order the YSRCP government came under criticism from opposition parties, netizens and Abdul Kalam’s admirers.

Leader of opposition and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu tweeted the controversial order with the hashtag #YSRCPInsultsAbdulKalam.

“Dr. Kalam has accomplished much for the nation with his pioneering work and inspiring life. Jagan’s government changing ‘APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar” to “YSR Vidya Puraskar” is a shocking method of self-aggrandisement at the cost of disrespecting a much venerated man. Shameful!!” tweeted Naidu.

This was followed by tweets by many others, criticising the government for the order.

Paint your faces with your party colours: Naidu tells YCP leaders

0

TDP National President N Chandrababu Naidu announced his decision to hold a day-long hunger strike against CM Jagan Reddy oppressive sand policy. He expressed concern that much more damage might be done to Andhra state because of one bad person coming to power in the state. Naidu asked how the Jagan Reddy government can get all the panchayat offices in the state with the YCP flag colours.

Very unfortunately, the National flag colours are erased and YCP flag colours are used in its place. Naidu wondered how Jagan Reddy uses people’s money to paint his party colours on panchayat offices all over the state. Naidu lost his cool and told YCP leaders to paint their faces with their party colours instead of doing that to government offices. The ruling party leaders may go around with their painted faces if they are so madly in love with their party.

The TDP boss said that he played a crucial role in convincing Vajpayee to make APJ Abdul Kalam as the President of India because Kalam was an inspiring scientist and a selfless servant of India. But YCP Regime dared to remove Kalam name from AP students Pratibha Puraskar awards.

Jagan’s money saving through ‘reverse tenders’ is a trash!

3

AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his henchmen are boasting day in and day out that YSRCP government is saving hundreds of crores of public money in each project by going for ‘reverse tendering’ method.

Jagan made tall claims that he could save Rs 628 crore by going for reverse tenders for construction of Polavaram project and cancelling previous tenders issued by previous TDP government.

Now, Jagan’s government is quietly giving hundreds of crores of rupees to Polavaram contractor through backdoor methods.

In the name of increased price of sand and increase in GST, other taxes, CM Jagan is learnt to have approved payment of an excess amount of Rs 500 crore to contractor.

This would mean that Rs 500 crore out of Rs 628 crore savings claimed by Jagan through reverse tenders would go back again into the pockets of contractor.

This proves that Jagan’s tall claims of saving money through reverse tenders is nothing but a trash and divert people’s attention from real issues.

Jagan removes Kalam name to idolize his father YSR

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is known for his great love for his father YSR. But, these days, that is causing hurt and embarrassment to others. Now, Jagan took the extreme step of removing great scientist APJ Abdul Kalam’s name from the AP students Prathibha Puraskar awards. This was renamed as the YSR Vidya Puraskar. These awards are usually given to students excelling in 10th class exams.

Jagan Reddy’s decision has triggered strong criticism from the admirers of Kalam. Social media activists described this as the worst of all the so many bad decisions being taken by YCP Circar. How come the government could dare to remove missile man’s name? Abdul Kalam is even now remembered more for his scientific contributions rather than as a former President.

Kalam is an inspiring personality as he traveled across the country to rouse scientific temper among the students. CM Jagan should have considered the tall stature of Kalam before hurting his memory.

Andhra becoming addressless under Jagan?

0

Prior to NTR and TDP, the Congress ruled United AP for decades. At that time, Andhras had no recognition of their own and they were called Madarasis in Delhi and rest of North and Central India. Later, phenomenal growth in Hyderabad due to migration from Coastal districts brought a new identity to Telugus. After separate statehood, Chandrababu Naidu put Andhra prominently in India map by raising hopes on Amaravati Global City.

Now, within five months, CM Jaganmohan Reddy has pushed AP into a serious identity crisis. Industrialists are running away. Thousands of crores investments are stopped. Big projects are shelved. Thousands of skilled and unskilled workers left the state. Nobody from other states is looking towards it. Has Andhra become addressless with no identity of its own any longer?

Chandrababu Naidu says that AP has become addressless in India map. Major industries have left and Asia Paper and Pulp Industry is also going away from AP now. Jagan is causing problems for accessories industries which are ready to invest Rs 20,000 Cr in Kia Motors surroundings.

Jagan’s growing anti-BJP stand behind CS transfer

0

As expected, AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy gave a rude shock to Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam by transferring him to HRD as its Director General. This was Jagan’s angry response to LV’s show-cause notice to CMO Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash. LV Subrahmanyam is known for his close links with BJP leader and Ex Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao.

In fact, it was during the 2019 election that the BJP-influenced Central Election Commission made LV as AP CS under election code. At that time, there were reports that LV would be continued as CS if YCP wins. This is as part of a broad understanding between Jagan and BJP leaders.

In just five months, the BJP started attacking Jagan Rule on all issues. Jagan hit back already by removing Daggubati Purandeswari’s husband Venkateswara Rao from incharge post of Parchuru assembly segment. Now, LV Subrahmanyam became the next victim of the growing differences between Jagan and BJP.

Why is Jagan sacrificing his image for sand money?

1

These days, there is an all-round attack from all opposition parties on the blackmarketeering, high prices and shortage of sand in Andhra. CM Jagan is facing non-stop protests and criticism from TDP, Jana Sena, BJP, Left parties and even leaders like Mudragada Padmanabham.

Despite all this, CM Jagan is choosing to act as if there’s no crisis at all. His Ministers are not even bothering to show any sympathy for construction workers who are commenting suicides due to lack of work since Jagan came to power. Why is AP CM so unkind towards workers now? He is not the same leader who hugged, touched heads, rubbed cheeks and took selfies with poor people during his pre-election massive Padayatra.

In the eyes of common voters, Jagan is now a CM who has neither given them promised Navaratnalu welfare cash nor created work opportunities to earn their daily meals. Why is YSR son sacrificing his and his family image just for the sake of easy money from sand mafia? Analysts say that CM Jagan has become a victim of his own ill-advised strategies. YCP MPs and MLAs spent more money than the then ruling TDP candidates in last election. Sand mafia is now the immediate hope to recover those election investments. What more, theiy want to amass more money to meet next election costs.

“Copycat” Jagan proves again he has no fresh ideas to develop AP!

1

YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been proving himself time and again that he is a ‘copycat’ and lacks fresh ideas of his own to develop Andhra Pradesh.

Almost all the schemes or initiatives being launched by Jagan after he became CM were either copied from previous TDP government or neighbouring TRS government in Telangana.

The only thing Jagan does is he simply changed the names of schemes but the purpose of his schemes remain the same.

Jagan copied even name of KCR’s scheme “Kanti Velugu” and implementing the same in AP to provide free eye checkups to people.

The latest to be copied by Jagan is “Connect to Andhra” initiative.

This initiative was launched by TDP chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu, which was named as “Smart AP Foundation”. This is aimed to mobilse funds from philanthropists and from corporate companies under CSR (corporate social responsibility) and utilise them for the development of state, since AP’s financial condition is bad after bifurcation of state.

Jagan has now quietly changed this name to “Connect to Andhra”, with an aim to mobilise Rs 1,000 crore and utilise the same to implement “Navaratnalu”.

How over-ambitious Jagan is can be assessed with his targets?

Just about Rs 85 crore was donated by companies and others in 2018-19 when it was launched by TDP.

Jagan now boasts of mobilising Rs 1,000 crore per year, which everyone knows that it is next to impossible and this scheme too will get faded away very soon like other tall claims of Jaga

Jagan sweet revenge against Press Council of India

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is giving shock treatment to even the media in his typically inimitable Kadapa faction style. He appointed Sakshi employee Devulapalli Amar as AP government national media advisor to get good coverage for his government programmes in the national press. Amar innocently convinced the Press Council of India to hold the National Press Day celebrations in Vijayawada on November 16 in the hope of getting goodwill for Jagan Circar.

Unfortunately for the Press Council and Amar, Jagan’s media gag order came up in the form of GO 2430. Due to serious nature of it, the Council issued notices to the AP government to clarify on the intentions behind the GO. It told Jagan Regime that GO 2430 will not allow journalists to write stories without fear in the state. Apparently angry over this, CM Jagan cancelled the National Press Day celebrations in Vijayawada to give a rude shock to the Council. Now the Press Council has to tell delegates from India and abroad to reschedule their visit. It shifted the venue to Delhi and invited Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu who readily confirmed his participation.

Undoubtedly, YCP leaders are seeing Amar as a failure because of continuing negative stories in the national media against AP Government. The Press Council incident gave much more embarrassment to both Amar and Press Council.
