Retired IAS Sarma booked over fake bills

0

A fresh case is booked against retired IAS officer CVSK Sarma for claiming fake bills towards legal aid in Jagan Rs 45,000 Cr CBI illegal assets cases. The case is booked in the Saifabad police station in Hyderabad following an order from the court based on a petition from a person. The petitioner complained that Sarma withdrew nearly Rs 8 lakh by submitting false bills to the government. Interestingly, the then Chief Secretary PK Mohanty blindly approved the bills. The then Revenue Secretary PV Ramesh released the funds immediately.

At that time, the government gave legal aid to nearly 7 IAS officers who were stuck in Jagan corruption cases that were before the CBI court. Allegations came up in respect of CVSK Sarma for claiming a huge amount towards legal charges. Petitioner PV Ramana argued that PK Mohanty and Ramesh approved the fake bills of Sarma without any check or cross verification. Sarma was the secretary of irrigation when it happened.

The latest case created a sensation in the bureaucratic and political circles. Jagan cases are haunting the IAS officers some way or other without any relief.

Jagan to sell govt lands to mobilise funds for Navaratnalu!

3

AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to sell off valuable lands belonging to state government in Andhra Pradesh to mobilise funds for the implementation of Navaratnalu schemes and development programmes.

The AP’s financial condition has turned worse as Jagan is indulging in blatant distribtuion of tax payers money in the name of Navaratnalu. While no steps are being taken to improve the income of state government, the expenditure of the government has increased manifold due to ‘votee-fetching’ Navaratnalu schemes.

The government is struggling even to pay salaries and pensions for employees.

All the development programmes came to a halt with no funds.

There is no scope even to secure loans also as the government’s debt burden has already nearly Rs 3 lakh crore. The revenue deficit has been increasing due to meaningless spending in the name of Navaratnalu.

To overcome financial crisis, Jagan has now decided to put up valubale government lands in the state for sale.

Various departments own huge parcels of land in AP.

Roads and Buildings department alone owns lands worth Rs 5,000 crore.

In the first phase, Jagan wants to mobilise Rs 10,000 crore by selling government lands.

But the big concern is what assets the government will have for future needs of AP if Jagan sells off government lands now with an aim to win elections by distributing money in the name of Navaratnalu.

IAS officers panicky over Jagan order to gag media

0

The ruling YCP Ministers and MLAs may be happy over the bold step taken by CM Jaganmohan Reddy against the newspapers, TV and the social media. But the IAS officers are greatly alarmed at the impact of CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s order to gag media. They are now afraid what kind of pressure will be brought by the ruling party leaders to file cases against the media on some pretext or the other.

Till now, the police and the revenue officials at lower levels are forced to book cases to harass the opposition leaders especially those of the TDP. From now on, the bureaucrats are going to be under constant pressure to take action against the media in the name of the recent orders. The officials know such armtwisting acts will serve no purpose. Especially, the national media may react angrily to such harassment.

In a democracy, it is not wise to harass the media just for the sake of writing baseless reports. It would be more difficult to control the social media which has no publisher or editor. The IAS officers are in confusion how to go about this as no other state in the country has brought such draconian order. Moreover, there’s a feeling that the bureaucrats are going to be made culprits in the whole process.

TDP to make big gains in AP if local body polls are held now!

0

This news is something which has come as a big shocker to five-month old YSRCP government headed by Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh.

It’s jus five months since Jagan became CM by trouncing TDP with a landslide majority in AP Assembly polls in May 2019.

But within five months Jagan’s government is facing severe anti-incumbency from various sections in AP.

It is reliably learnt that the AP Intelligence Department has submitted a report to Jagan recently about how YSRCP government is facing severe anger from various sections of people and how TDP is making gains during the past five months.

This report is understood to have cautioned Jagan that if elections for local bodies like gram panchayats, zilla parishads, municipalities and municipal corporations are held now, the TDP will make huge gains when compared with its worst performance in recent Assembly polls.

TDP was reduced to a mere 23 seats in 175-member AP Assembly while YSRCP almost made a clean sweep by winning a record 151 seats.

But within five months, the situation has started turning upside down for Jagan according to this report.

The factors that contributed to anger of people against Jagan are his ‘reverse’ decisions aimed to take revenge on TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu instead of working for the development of AP.

His U-turns on Amaravathi capital city, killing Amaravathi capital city by stopping all works, severe sand shortage leading to halting of construction works across AP, loss of jobs for labourers leading to suicides, failure to implement Navaratnalu as promised, imposing several restrictions on Navaratnalu, financial crisis of AP government due to too much spending on welfare schemes, not able to bring any big project or big investment into AP in the last five months except scrapping old projects for political reasons etc.

Even the much-hyped grama/ward volunteer and grama Secretariat recruitment did not bring expected support from unemployed youth who consider these jobs as a ‘small time jobs’ with lower salaries and as such not helpful to meet their needs and their career growth.

All these factors against Jagan will help TDP to make gains in municipal polls as people are looking at TDP again as better alternative to YSRCP but not Jana Sena, BJP or any other party.

Going by this report, Jagan will not dare to conduct elections for local bodies anytime soon,

Jagan may try to build-up his image as well as his party in the coming months and will come forward to hold local body polls only later.

Jagan Circar’s GO 2323 causing tremors in TTD

0

The Jaganmohan Reddy government turned its focus on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam for weeding out the staff appointed during the previous Chandrababu Regime. It issued GO 2323 removing all those who retired before March 31 this year but continuing as contract or outsourcing staff in TTD. Because of this GO, ‘Dollar’ Seshadri is also expected to lose his job. He retired as a superintendent 10 years ago.

Reports say that Jagan Circar has targetted nearly 60 staff in TTD under this GO. Instructions are given to terminate their services by today evening.

Following the latest development, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal is taking extra care to implement the order effectively. He has directed the heads of all wings in the TTD to immediately submit full details of the outsourced and contract staff under them.

Andhra Pradesh issues controversial order to gag media

0

The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday issued an order, authorising bureaucrats to sue media houses for defamatory, baseless and false reports.

Two weeks after the state cabinet took the controversial decision to gag media and ignoring the protest from journalist fraternity and other quarters, the government issued orders empowering secretaries of the respective departments to sue media houses.

The Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government went ahead with its move by releasing the order.

“Government hereby accord permission to delegate powers to the secretaries of respective departments to issue rejoinders, file complaints and lodge appropriate cases, if need be, through public prosecutor against defamatory news items published/telecast/posted in print/electronic/social media pertaining to their respective departments after following due process of law,” reads the order issued by T. Vijay Kumar Reddy, ex-officio secretary to the government, Information and Public Relations Department.

Leader of Opposition and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu reacted strongly to the release of the GO and called it draconian. He said this would curb freedom of expression, and is meant to stifle people’s voice on social media.

The former Chief Minister noted that the right to question, criticize and showcase the failures of a government is fundamental to democracy.

“Prodded by the YSRC Party, the Police will now be able to foist false cases to harass media institutions & people who are showcasing the many failures of the Govt. If necessary, we will take the fight to the streets until this oppressive GO is cancelled,” tweeted Naidu.

It was on October 16 that the state cabinet decided to empower secretaries. The move evoked protest from the journalists’ unions, civil society organisations and opposition parties.

The ruling party clarified that it has only decentralized the powers hitherto vested with the Commissioner of Information and Public Relations.

The government also made it clear that filing of cases will be the last resort. It said the process will start with issuing a rejoinder, ensuing that the correction is given the same prominence as the wrongly published/televised news was given, including the placement/time slot and has full clarity besides being properly sourced.

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government, which came under attack for suppressing freedom of press, claimed it is committed to uphold democratic norms.

It believes that there is aimperative need for the flow of news pertaining to various government departments in an accurate manner “without any distortion, slant or prejudice”.

The clarification, however, failed to allay the apprehensions among journalist community that the powers will be misused to target the media houses, especially those critical of the government or ruling party.

No unity in opposition a blessing for Jagan

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is confidently going ahead with his draconian demolitions and cancellations despite massive protests from rival parties. He seems not even afraid of BJP national leadership going by AP’s decisions on PPAs, Polavaram, etc. Now, CM Jagan is not caring despite rival parties’ increasing protests on sand shortage and construction workers suicides. Finally, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan made the first move to bring together all opposition in the sand agitation against YCP.

Pawan called Naidu and requested for TDP solidarity for Jana Sena ‘Long March’ in Vizag on November 3 to protest against sand shortage. There is no response from the main opposition party till now. Pawan also called BJP AP President Kanna Laxminarayana for his party participation. Kanna has not personally reacted on this. But BJP state leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy responded saying that their party would not take part.

BJP leaders say that it is their party which has first begun protesting against Jagan’s excesses in sand mining and construction industry. Analysts say that it is this lack of unity among TDP, BJP and Jana Sena that Jagan could get historic victory in 2019 election. If this disunity continues, AP will be stuck in greater crisis.

Jagan becomes “U-turn CM” in five months!

0

Jagan completed five months as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on October 30 (today).

He took oath as CM as May 30 after registering landslide victory in Assembly polls in May.

Jagan always used to criticise previous AP CM N Chandrabababu Naidu as “U-turn Babu” saying that Babu always take U-turns after making tall claims.

But Jagan has earned the name of “U-turn CM” within five months.

Jagan took U-turns on two major issues within five months.

The first U-turn is on Amaravathi capital city.

Jagan as YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition announced several times in public that YSRCP will stick to Amaravathi as capital city, if it comes to power.

In fact, when Jagan visited Vijayawada as part of his padayatra in April 2018, he promised that Amaravathi will continue as capital, if YSRCP is elected to power.

Even in the YSRCP’s plenary meeting, Jagan categorically stated that Amaravathi, which is between Vijayawada and Guntur, will remain as AP’s new capital.

To give more clarity to people on YSRCP’s commitment for Amaravathi, Jagan talked about capital jurisdiction area between Vijayawada and Guntur to send a strong message that Amaravathi capital city will be built as it is without changing the boundaries and without shifting to other area.

But soon after he became CM, Jagan started anti-Amaravathi campaign.

He deputed his ministers to talk negative about Amaravathi and give indications of his government plans to shift AP capital city from Amaravathi to some other place.

Now, he appointed one more committee to make recommendations on new capital.

Is it not a U-turn made by Jagan on Amaravathi capital city?

The second U-turn pertains to Rythu Bharosa. Before Assembly polls, Jagan announced that he will pay Rs 12,500 per year to each farmer under Rythu Bharosa without any restrictions.

After coming to power, he linked the scheme to Centre’s Kisan Samman Yojana and reduced state government’s contribution besides imposing several restrictions in the selection of beneficiaries.

With Jagan’s U-turn, Rythu Bharosa has now turned into “Rythu Tamasha”.

It remains to be seen how many U-turns Jagan will take before completing his full five-year term.

Jagan empty promise to construction workers?

0

The whole opposition is crying foul over continuing suicides by construction workers due to lack of works in Andhra. However, AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy dismisses their allegations as incorrect and politically motivated. He says it is not correct to say there is no work for daily wage workers. It was during the previous TDP regime that everybody faced problems due to sand mafia and too much corruption.

Jagan says that the construction workers will find more work in the coming days. How is he going to create those job opportunities. He asks officials to create work for construction workers at the sand reaches. Analysts say that the masons, plumbers and electricians would not be able to take up such works. They will be comfortable only in construction works relating to buildings, apartment complexes, real estate ventures and government projects. All government construction projects came to a standstill under Jagan. Even individuals reduced their building works in view of very high prices of sand.

On the other hand, Jagan says all steps are being taken to set right the system. The previous regime totally damaged the sand mining and transportation policies with its illegal activities. CM says that sand mining will be increased the moment floods will recede. But workers want work but not promises any more as it is not election season.

Sand shortage part of Jagannatakam, says Naidu

0

TDP boss N Chandrababu Naidu said that five construction workers would not have committed suicide if CM Jaganmohan Reddy changed his sand policy. The so-called sand shortage and skyrocketing prices are nothing but the gimmicks of the ruling YCP leaders. Naidu said that the online sand sales are all part of ‘Jagannatakam’ that is going on in Andhra Pradesh. These comments are maid amid allegations that YCP leaders are selling sand in in black market and also transporting AP sand to neighbouring state capitals for quick money.

Naidu further said that CM Jagan doesn’t know ABCD of irrigation sector. It is not true that the floods in the rivers have caused sand shortage. It is only because of ‘Jaganmaya’ (tactics) that the sand crisis has deepened in the state leading to slump in construction sector.

Amid increasing suicides, Jagan held a review meeting with revenue and police officials. He reminded that he had already instructed the District Collectors and SPs to closely monitor sand mining to take action against illegal transportation. Jagan also directed the officials to conduct a ‘sand week’ to solve sand shortage and boost construction activity to create works for construction workers.

Is CM Jagan behaving like Nero Emperor?

0

Within five months of coming to power, AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is being criticised very badly by opposition leaders like no other CM anywhere in the country. He was described as a Tughlaq ruler for his demolition of Andhra Capital City. TDP leaders called him Jaganasura for his government’s too many police cases and political atrocities leading to suicide of former Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.

Now, Jagan is being described as a Nero Emperor who played fiddle when Rome was burning and Roman people were facing severe hardships. BJP Ex MLA Vishnukumar Raju says that there is no difference between Jagan and Nero going by how AP CM is acting insensibly while the Andhra people are stuck in a deepening financial crisis and widespread joblessness. Raju blamed Jagan oppressive rule for the continuing suicides by construction workers, contractors, farmers and others because of lack of work opportunities. The BJP leader expressed disappointment that five months are over but Jagan doesn’t want to bring a people-friendly sand policy into implementation.

Vishnukumar Raju asked why Jagan is still stopping payments of hundreds of crores due to the contractors for works already completed. The contractors are committing suicides now but YCP Circar is not changing. More sadly, CM is not giving appointments to anybody outside of his coterie of relatives and YSR family loyalists.

Jagan’s next target TDP MLA Gottipati Ravi

0

All of a sudden, TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu called and held special talks with Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravikumar in the party headquarters. This has raised lot of curiosity in political circles. Is Gottipati the next target of CM Jaganmohan Reddy in his current mission to strip TDP of its opposition party status? Already, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi resigned from the TDP following harassment by the police and the local YCP leaders.

Gottipati Ravikumar and his family members have got business interests in granite mining. Recently, the Jagan Reddy government turned its focus on this. The vigilance department officials have conducted enquiries on the granite quarries and its allied polishing industries. They have also submitted a report to the government. It’s expected that serious action will be taken against the quarries belonging to TDP MLA if he doesn’t surrender to the YCP.

There is also caste angle to all this. CM Jagan has given indirect orders to the Ministers and MLAs to identify and cancel approvals of the mines and other units belonging to one particular caste persons. It’s because this caste is inseparably associated with the TDP. Just like in the case of Vamsi, Jagan is going to achieve his dual goals of casteist and political harassment against Gottipati as well.

Jagan defaults on salaries for volunteers!

0

Yet another classic example to show how AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy makes tall claims while announcing new schemes or initiatives of YSRCP government, but fails miserably in their implementation.

Jagan’s brainchild “Grama/ward volunteer’ system, received a jolt as the state government failed to pay the salary for volunteers after recruiting them more than two months ago on August 15.

Jagan recruited thousands of grama/ ward volunteers to take government schemes and services to the people’s doorsteps.

He launched the initiative, considered to be the novel concept in the country, on August 15 amid much fanfare.

However, after completion of more than two months, the volunteers did not receive their salaries.

Moreover, the volunteers were overburdened with work as nearly half of the vacancies are yet to be filled.

With this, the existing volunteers were asked to do the work in places where volunteers were not recruited. Officials promised that they would get a double salary if they do additional work.

After completion of two months, let alone getting a double salary, they did not receive even a single salary so far.

The tight financial condition of the AP government is said to be the reason for not paying salaries.

Jagan failed to pay salaries even in his home district Kadapa.

Worse still is Jagan is finding ‘lame excuses’ to remove volunteers from their jobs.

In Kadapa, out of 1,400 volunteers, only 800 got salaries.

Initially, the government recruited those having age up to 35 years.

Now, they are being sacked from the jobs saying that they are too old to work at the age of 35 years.

Why did they recruit 35-year candidates in the first place and why they are removing them in an abrupt manner? There is no answer from the YSRCP government to this question.

Poor volunteers are running around collector offices to get their salaries.

They are standing in queues along with common people to give representations to collectors during “Spandana” programme being held every Monday to receive public grievances.

If this is the situation after recruiting only half of the total volunteers, one can easily imagine how the things will turn worse after all the volunteers are appointed.

Already several volunteers left their jobs due to work burden. They are kept busy with various surveys from morning till evening.

With this, volunteers feel that the meager salary of Rs 5,000 per month they get does not match with the amount of work they do and are leaving the jobs midway in search of better jobs.

Jagan sketch to remove Naidu opposition leader status

0

These days, the biggest questions before YCP Regime are how to divert public attention from its government’s failures on sand, liquor, Capital and failure to deliver on Navaratnalu promises. CM Jaganmohan Reddy is also of the opinion that his government’s image has dipped to a considerable low in just five months. Against this backdrop, his advisers suggested a new strategy. This is to strip TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu of his opposition leader status.

If six MLAs resign from the TDP, it will eventually lead to Naidu losing his status. Then, he is just like any other MLA in the Assembly without special facilities or privileges. In a state Assembly, 10 per cent of total MLA seats is necessary to get opposition status. In the AP Assembly having 175 MLA seats, it will require 18 MLA seats for getting the Opposition party status. The TDP won 23 MLA seats in 2019 general election.

Already, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has announced his resignation from MLA seat. Now, the ruling YCP leaders are on the hunt to find another five TDP MLAs who have weaknesses. The same strategy would be used against them as in the case of Vamsi. The local police and official machinery will be used to harass these MLAs till they resign from their MLA seats. Once by-elections are held, that will be another chance for YCP to prove its strength once again.

Naidu wake-up call to Jagan on another suicide

0

Yet another construction worker committed suicide in Guntur unable to find work to feed his family. Plumber Polepalli Venkatesh has not been able to find work for the past five months because of huge sand scarcity that brought construction works to a standstill. Before taking his own life, he took a selfie video. He expressed lot of sadness over his inefficiency to go and find work outside of construction industry. Venkatesh made an emotional appeal to his elder brother and his wife to take care of his son. He asked his wife not to remember him long and get re-married again to lead a happy life.

Forwarding this suicide video, Ex CM Chandrababu Naidu made a strong appeal to the Jaganmohan Reddy government to wake up and create job opportunities for the poor workers. Naidu demanded that the government pay immediate compensation to all those workers who are without work and who cannot earn livelihood for their families.
The worker’s suicide started a big debate in social media. The ruling YCP is giving floods in Krishna river as a reason for sand shortage. But the same problem is there in Telangana, Karnataka and so on but there is no big crisis in those states. There are allegations that an online sand mafia is reason for huge sand shortage and its skyrocketing prices.

Jagan, KCR meeting affected by TSRTC strike!

0

AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao will not have any meeting anytime soon.

According to TRS sources, the meeting is not possible in the next two to three months.

This would mean that Jagan and KCR will meet again only in the New Year 2020.

After Jagan became CM of AP in May, he met KCR more than half a dozen times in a gap of four months between June and September.

Jagan visited Pragathi Bhavan, the official residence of KCR, in Hyderabad three times. KCR reciprocated by visiting Jagan’s residence in Tadepalli once and had lunch there with Jagan.

Both the CMs displayed unusual bonhomie till September.

But the strike by TSRTC from October 5 is learnt to have impacted the relations between both the CMs.

KCR reportedly believes that the TSRTC strike, which entered 24th day today is the result of Jagan’s decision to merger APSRTC with AP state government.

TSRTC employees went on strike on similar demand for merging TSRTC with TS government, which KCR has been outrightly rejecting.

KCR has termed Jagan’s decision of RTC merger ‘impractical’ saying that it’s not possible anywhere in the country and Jagan too will realise the consequences of his decision in the next six months.

Both the CMs were supposed to meet in October again to discuss on diversion of Godavari water to Krishna and take this proposal forward.

But the TSRTC strike altered their plans as KCR’s government is neck-deep in trouble due to RTC strike for the past 24 days due to which it is facing backlash from common people as well as the High Court.

The issue had kept KCR busy for the past three weeks to think on how to resolve RTC strike leaving no time for him to think on meeting Jagan.

RK tells what KCR feels about Jagan fate

0

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao is under heavy pressure to increase welfare measures because of the big bonanza being given by AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy to Andhra voters. However, KCR took a tough stance not to take any hasty step. As part of this, he did not care about RTC agitation and totally rejected the merger demand with the government.

During internal discussions, KCR told his party strategists that Jaganmohan Reddy is in a great hurry to give maximum welfare cash to poor people in the first one year. This is because AP CM wants to get maximum goodwill of the people before the BJP government at the Centre puts him in jail. As per KCR predictions, the CBI is expected to appeal for cancellation of Jagan bail anytime in the next six months.

Andhra Jyothi Managing Director Radhakrishna writes about these details in his weekly Kothapaluku column. RK says that KCR has shared surprising details with his colleagues on the fate of AP CM. Jagan has already consulted a top lawyer on the possibility of the Centre getting his bail cancelled. The lawyer explained to Jagan that if the CBI sticks to such a line, the court will have no option but to cancel his bail.

Andhra to set up university for skill development

0

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday decided to set up a university for skill development at the state level.

The Chief Minister decided to set up a college in each parliamentary constituency and affiliate them to the university to improve skill among the students pursuing Industrial Training Institute (ITI), polytechnic, engineering and other courses. All the government departments would also be coordinating with the university.

The students would be given an apprenticeship for a year to improve their skills and if necessary, it would be extended by six months, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.

Jagan, as the Chief Minister is popularly known, conducted a review meeting with concerned officials on skill development and took decisions to provide employment-oriented courses.

An IAS officer would be appointed in three to four days for the smooth functioning of the university and also for undertaking skill development programmes. Funds would be generated by the finance department for skill development and employment generation.

The Chief Minister has also decided to digitalise the existing employment exchange and provide an application like the Ola and Uber. Efforts would be made to map the existing skill development resources locally at the village secretariat level.

The Chief Minister said that 25 colleges in the state would be affiliated to the proposed university. The university would formulate plans for upgrading the technical skills of the students according to the changing technological trends in the world.

One Rupee Jagan spent Rs 15 Cr on Tadepalli house?

0

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is taking just one rupee salary towards rendering his services to the people. Is he genuinely giving such great services to the Andhra people? The opposition raises doubts. The TDP asks why ‘One Rupee Jagan’ has spent Rs 15 Cr public money on renovation of his Tadepalli Camp Office. It is not a government building complex. His private residence is converted into CM Camp Office there. TDP leader Varla Ramaiah asked how Rs 48 lakh public funds were spent on just bathrooms in Jagan house. While this is the situation at Jagan residence, there are no basic amenities like even benches at the High Court premises.

The TDP is very angry against Minister Perni Nani for talking about Rs 10 Cr spending of public funds on Naidu’s Delhi Dharma Porata Deeksha. Can the Minister prove it? Varla Ramaiah said that it was only Rs. 1.6 Cr spent on Naidu Deeksha. The TDP is ready to prove it in front of the finance department officials. The YCP Ministers should first talk about the wasteful expenditure of massive public funds on Jaganmohan Reddy’s huge residences at Tadepalli, Lotus Pond and Bangalore. How can Jagan spend Rs 60 lakh people’s money on his Court appearance in Rs 45,000 Cr CBI illegal assets cases?

Pawan asks whether Jagan builds Capital or not

0

Whatever it is, the Jaganmohan Reddy government’s hidden agenda is raising serious concerns on the fate of Andhra Capital City. The High Court has already given a deadline to the government to clarify its stand or else it would give orders for completing Amaravati works. Now, Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan demanded full clarity from CM Jagan whether he is going to build Capital for Andhra Pradesh or not.

Senani expressed disappointment that 30 lakh construction workers all over the state were thrown out of work. While appearing to correct mistakes made by Naidu Circar, the present government has further complicated the sand mining and supply. The sand lorry owners complained to Pawan that their families are on the roads without work now because of the vague and biased sand policy.

Pawan told Jagan government that the sand shortage is leaving a bad impact on all sections of people. The overall economy has fallen in crisis. Very secretively, sand online bookings are being done during night. Senani objected to the 486 GO giving GST concession to 6,000 sand lorries to be newly given. This will be complained to the Centre. What a pity that tea is not being made available at High Court premises? Jagan should clarify whether he is shifting HC to Rayalaseema or not.
