Cadre raises banner of revolt against this YSRCP MLA

0

Udayagiri YSRCP MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy is facing a strange predicament. He is being opposed by his party men. They are taking to streets protesting against him. The distance between the leader and the cadre is growing by each passing day. The differences, which have come to fore during the recent local body elections, are only growing.

As a result of the growing divide, the MPP elections have been postponed twice so far. The YSRCP workers have staged a dharna in front of the Vinjamuru MPDO office protesting against the activities of their own MLA. There are also allegations that the MLA has appointing leaders to the party posts for a price in Varikuntapadu area. The cadre has even alleged that the MLA was on a money-minting spree and that he was taking bribes for even small jobs. The situation has come to such a pass that the YSRCP activists have called a press conference to slam the MLA.

Interestingly, Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy is a close relative of Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy. But, the minister refused to intervene in the affairs of Udayagiri constituency. Meanwhile, Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy’s detractors say that he had lost in the 2014 elections only because he had alienated the party workers. Though he had won in the 2019 elections riding a YS Jagan wave, he has not learnt any lessons, they say.

YSRCP cadres say that the Udayagiri MLA is being controlled by an “unseen” force, who is directing his every move. It’s because of this force that the MLA is fast alienating his supporters, they argue. As of now the party leadership in Tadepalli is making no effort to patch up the differences between the MLA and the cadre.

One party …. two leaders….. one constituency…. two offices. …

0

One party …. two leaders….. one constituency…. two offices. …this in short sums up the plight of ruling YSRCP in Hindupur assembly constituency. The problem is instead of fighting the TDP, these two groups fight among themselves and pave way for a TDP victory in any election. This has been the sorry story in 2019 and this is the story even now.

In fact, it is this group rivalry that has helped Nandamuri Balakrishna win for the second time in a row from Hindupur. The YSRCP in Hindupur is divided between Naveen Nishal and Mohammad Iqbal. Nischal is a loyal YSRCP leader, who has a long history of fighting the TDP. Iqbal is a retired IPS officer who had contested from Hindupur in 2019. Since then, both the leaders are trying to undercut one another.

To put an end to the group fight, the YSRCP leadership has made Iqbal the assembly constituency incharge and Nishal the parliamentary constituency incharge. Later, Iqbal was made the MLC and Nischal the chairperson of the Agro Development Corporation. Instead of bringing rapprochement, it only added fuel to the fire. Now both the groups have opened separate offices in the Housing Board Colony of Hindupur.

Meanwhile, another controversy arose when Nischal appointed two conveners for Hindupur rural and Lepakshi mandals. However, Iqbal said these two conveners would not be recognised. He said he has not been consulted on the issue and said that since he was the constituency incharge, he must be consulted before making any appointment. While the party’s top leadership is looking for ways and means to defeat Nandamuri Balakrishna, both the YSRCP leaders are busy fighting one another.

Why YSRCP social media is ignoring RRR’s attacks?

1

Till a few months ago, the YSRCP leaders and the social media incharges went hammer and tongs against renegade party MP Raghuramakrishnam Raju aka RRR. They slammed him in the strongest of terms and pounced upon him whenever he made a comment against either YS Jagan or the party. Some of the attacks against RRR were way too below the belt.

But, suddenly, the YSRCP seems to be completely ignoring RRR and his comments. Even when he is making extremely pungent comments, the party’s social media seems to be ignoring them. The social media is not reacting to RRR’s attacks. They seem to be looking the other way.

YSRCP insiders say that the social media warriors of the party have now gone inactive. The reason is that despite their frontal attacks and quick responses, the social media teams feel that their contribution is not being recognised. Social media units, which mainly comprise youth, are disappointed that they are completely ignored.

As a result, these warriors have not been responding to RRR’s comments. Sources say that the YSRCP social media mechanism is quite inactive even when the party is under attack from the well-oiled social media accounts from the Telugu Desam Party. Sources also say that these youths are now slowly moving away from the YSRCP.

Will Gupta episode finish off Balineni’s political career?

2

Will the unsavory episode relating the physical attack on party leader Somisetty Subbarao Gupta spell a doom for the political career of Minister and YS Jagan’s close relative Balineni Srinivasa Reddy? Though there have been several allegations against Balineni, the latest episode could turn out to be the proverbial last straw on the camel’s back, say those in the know.

Sources say that the attack on Subba Rao Gupta has become a blot on Balineni’s political career. Despite his efforts at damage control, things have gone out of control. On Balineni’s birthday, Gupta made some comments over the way the party was being run. Soon, his own party members, led by Balineni acolyte Subhani attacked Gupta. He was thrashed in a hotel room and the video has gone viral.

Later to control the damage, Balineni got Subhani arrested, but also got him out within hours on station bail. He also invited Gupta to his residence and assured that he would stand by him. Despite that, Gupta sought police protection for himself claiming that his life was in danger.

Balineni is already in the dock for several reasons. His followers are said to be involved in land grab. His diehard supporter was arrested with cash worth Rs 6 crore on AP-Tamil Nadu border. Now the Gupta episode has damaged his image to no end. Political watchers say that the attack may even lead to his ouster from the Cabinet. The whole incident has pushed Balineni onto the defensive.

TDP turncoat MLA finds going tough in YSRCP

1

He has won on a TDP ticket, but has later defected to the ruling YSRCP. But he is now finding that the road is bumpy and the ride is not too easy. He is now finding that there is great opposition from the local cadre. He is now limping from controversy to controversy and from challenge to challenge in the YSRCP. He is said to be ruing his decision to latch on the YSRCP bandwagon.

We are talking about MLA Vasupalli Ganesh. He is one of the four TDP MLAs who won in the 2019 elections. But soon after winning, he found the grass was greener on the other side and immediately switched sides. He perhaps felt things would all be hunky dory. Now, he is finding that the YSRCP cadre and leader are opposing every step of the way. They are creating ruckus over everything for him.

At least three corporators are going hammer and tongs against Vasupalli Ganesh. Corporator Sadiq has openly criticized the MLA saying that he was not implementing the directives of YS Jagan on fee exemption in his colleges. He and two other corporators – Kandula Nagaraju and Bhaskar Rao – openly slammed the MLA for forcibly removing the kiosks near the school owned by the MLA.

In several areas, the YSRCP cadre and the corporators are inciting the locals against Vasupalli Ganesh. For instance, Gnanapuram colony residents said that the MLA had duped them by making them pay money for pucca houses. They mobbed the MLA and gave him torrid time. Sources close to the MLA say that he is now rueing his joining the YSRCP.

Why are YSRCP MLAs afraid of going to villages?

0

There is one big dilemma that is haunting most of the YSRCP MLAs these days. They are wary of going to the rural interiors. The MLAs are worried that the people would take them to task if they venture into the rural side. The leaders have no answers to the searing questions that the people are set to ask them.

The YSRCP came to power with the promise of “Rajanna Rajyam” and the people overwhelmingly voted for them in the hope that there would be significant development in their villages. But, though it has been two years, there is no material change in their lives. Though the government is implementing Navaratnas, which personally benefit them, there is no development in terms of infrastructure, amenities and facilities.

As a result, the MLAs are afraid of venturing into the rural interiors. They do not know how to reply to the volley of questions from the people. Another major problem is that they do not have any information or data about the schemes being implemented and the beneficiaries identified. All these details are with the village volunteers, who are not accountable to them.

To add to their woes, the state government has not released its share of the funds for rural development. What more, the funds provided by the Central Government have been diverted for other purposes. As a result, pending arrears are piling up. Hence, the contractors are not willing to take up any developmental work. The MLAs are now unable to meet the people and tell them about the achievements of the government.

YSRCP losing hold on tribal constituencies!

0

The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh seem to be gradually losing its political hold on tribal constituencies.

This has been reflected in recent local bodies polls in Paduru constituency where opposition TDP made a comeback by bagging few Mandal Praja Parishads.

YSRCP MLA K.Bhagya Lakshmi was elected as MLA twice from Paleru in 2014 and 2019 with a big majority.

The constituency dominated by tribals favoured YSRCP since 2014. However, the tribals are losing faith on YSRCP after Jagan government failed to fulfill the promises made to tribals in 2019 Assembly elections.

Jagan promised to give pensions to tribals by relaxing age limit from 50 years to 45 years. But he failed to fulfill it.

Also the construction of government hospital to provide better medical facilities also failed to progress even after more than two and half years.

The Jagan government also imposed restrictions on extending welfare schemes to tribals who own more than 5 acres of land.

All these fuelled anger among tribals against YSRCP.

Added to this, the groupism in YSRCP has further added to the woes of the party.

YSRCP Araku MP G.Madhavi is trying to contest as MLA from Paduru in 2024 Assembly polls.

This is strongly opposed by MLA Bhagya Lakshmi and her supporter. The leaders and cadre in Paderu and Araku are divided between these two lady leaders, who are trying to gain upperhand over the other.

MLA Sridevi feels threatened by MP Gorantla Madhav’s adventurism

0

Till recently, they were best buddies. But now they are at loggerheads with one another. Now they are sniping at each other and are trying to undercut one another. The reason? A swashbuckling MP’s adventurism.

YSRCP MP from Hindupuram Gorantla Madhav and Pattikonda MLA Sridevi belong to the same party but are now fighting one another.

MP Gorantla Madhav is said to be eyeing Pattikonda assembly constituency and is planning to contest for the assembly from the same constituency in the 2024 elections. The MP these days is regularly visiting Pathikonda to mobilize his community. Madhav is from Kuruva community and is holding meetings in Pathikonda. Kurvas by the way are in a majority in the constituency.

Naturally, MLA Sridevi is alarmed and is feeling insecure. She sees Madhav’s adventurism as a threat to her political career. She has been opposing his forays into her constituency as Pathikonda is in Kurnool and Hindupur is in Anantapur. Recently when Madhav held a huge meeting, she had all the flexis and banners removed from the area. This has led to friction with the MP.

Sridevi is now said to be adopting a non-cooperative attitude towards Madhav’s visits to Pattikonda. Sources say that she is planning to take the issue to the notice of party chief and big boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As these differences simmer, both the leaders have given a go by to welfare and development of the two constituencies.

Will BJP’s Dec 28 meet be a game-changer in AP?

0

It appears the BJP in Andhra Pradesh is slowly taking determined steps to emerge as a credible player for 2024 elections. The party now feels that it stands a chance in AP politics as the TDP is getting gradually weakened. With Pawan Kalyan proving to be a non-starter, the BJP feels that it is time for the party to go aggressive in AP.

To herald the changed attitude, the party is planning a public meeting in Vijayawada on December 28. The meeting would be attended by the top leadership of the party and they would provide guidance to the state unit to emerge as a credible political force in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The party is making all-out arrangements to ensure that the meeting is a success.

As a preparatory to the public meeting, the BJP has also signaled that it would maintain equi-distance from both the TDP as well as the YSRCP. Till now, the BJP went soft on the YSRCP, while going hammer and tongs on the TDP. Recent visit of Amit Shah to Tirupati has changed it all. He has categorically told the party leaders and cadres that the YSRCP was no friend of the BJP.

The party is going to adopt the three-pronged strategy of Operation Akarsh, equidistance and agitational programmes for Andhra Pradesh. But, will the AP voters forgive the BJP for its acts of omission and commission ?  Will the voter embrace the BJP? Will it be able to create an impact all alone without any credible alliances? Let’s wait and see how things pan out.

First-timer YSRCP MLAs become “collection kings”

0

Several of the YSRCP first-time MLAs are getting brazen by each passing day. Several first-timers, who mainly won riding on the tide of a massive YS Jagan wave in 2019, are said to be unsure of a ticket in 2024 and have apparently decided to go on a collection spree. Several complaints about such MLAs have already reached YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In Nellore, a Rajya Sabha MP himself had to complain to YS Jagan about the indiscriminate collection spree of an MLA. When the issue came to YS Jagan’s notice, he is said to have told the MP that the MLA would not be given ticket in the 2024 elections. Another MLA from Palnadu area is accused of collecting up to Rs 3 crore every month. This MLA is said to be collecting Mamools for every apartment constructed in his area. IN case of another MLA, the high command is said to be very upset as he is promoting gambling and betting in a big way.

Ditto with a couple of MLAs from Rayalaseema. In Prakasam distrct, an MLA was given an Innova for securing a transfer for a CI in his district. Some MLAs are accused of crossing the jurisdiction and collecting bribes from the neighbouring assembly constituency. Complaints about these MLAs are said to be pending with YS Jagan.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Prashant Kishore’s team will conduct a survey and prepare a list of the most corrupt and least working MLAs. Most of these MLAs would not be given tickets in the 2024 elections. The party insiders are now said to be hotly debating about who will retain the party tickets and who would be shown the door.

Are YSRCP MLAs in Guntur scoring self goals?

0

Are the YSRCP MLAs in Guntur district scoring self-goats? Are they, in their over enthusiasm to look pro-people, putting their own government to discomfiture? Are they doing things which will put the government in a spot? Those in the know say yes. They say the MLAs are actually ending up troubling their government.

In Guntur, the YSRCP has 15 of the 17 seats. One TDP MLA, Maddali Giri, is now with the YSRCP. With this kind of majority, they can have their way in the ZP council. However, the MLAs are bringing in resolutions that will put their own government in trouble. Recently, the MLAs brought a resolution demanding the estimation of the mirchi crop damage and payment of compensation.

The officials warned the MLAs not to bring such a resolution as the AP Government, which is led by their own party, will have to pay the compensation. To avoid a tricky situation, the officials informed the agriculture commissioner, who tried to counsel the MLAs in vain. So, the officials avoided attending the meet. One joint collector cited Covid symptoms as an alibi, while two others did not even bother to respond. The collector cited prior engagements as the reason for skipping the meeting to avoid embarrassment to the state government.

Even Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharitha raised the issue of the absence of key officials. Only low level officials were present. The officials say that a resolution in the ZP would mean that the opposition would use this as a tool to put the government in a spot. But, the YSRCP MLAs are not looking at the larger picture and are trying to play the gallery. Their efforts, the officials feel, will only leave the government embarrassed. This is nothing but scoring a self-goal, they said.

Flexi row between YSRCP MP and MLA in Pattikonda!

0

A row over removal of flexis has erupted between YSRCP leaders and cadre in Pattikonda Assembly segment.

YSRCP Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav has been frequently visiting Pattikonda Assembly segment these days which is being opposed by YSRCP Pattikonda MLA Sreedevi.

MP Madhav is visiting Pattikonda constituency to attend Kuruva caste meetings, to which he belongs.

People from Kuruva caste are setting up flexis of Madhav in large numbers welcoming him to Pattikonda.

MLA Sreedevi and her supporters are not tolerating a leader from Anantapur district getting so much attention in their own Kurnool district.

Panchayat officials removed all the flexis of Madhav as soon as he left Pattikonda constituency. This led to protests from Kuruva community members who alleged that it was done as per the orders of MLA Sreedevi.

Kuruva caste people questioned how can the flexis of a ruling party MP be removed by a ruling party MLA.

People from Kuruva caste constitute majority of voters in Pattikonda Assembly segment.

MLA Sreedevi and her supporters fear that Madhav is trying to secure Pattikonda Assembly ticket in 2024 Assembly polls and for that reason he is expanding his cadre base in Pattikonda under the guise of Kuruva caste meetings. They are taking steps to prevent political entry of Madhav into Pattikonda and planning to complain to YSRCP chief and CM Jagan against Madhav.

“Palnadu politics” create rift in YSRCP and tussle between Reddy MLAs

0

The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing simmering differences between its own MLAs in few districts day after day creating troubles for party leadership besides causing embarrassment.

Latest, the “Palnadu politics” in YSRCP have become a big headache for party leadership.

It led to tussle between YSRCP Macharla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and YSRCP Gurazala MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy.

YSRCP leaders accuse Ramakrishna Reddy of interfering in neighbouring Gurazala constituency and creating troubles for Mahesh Reddy.

They say Ramakrishna Reddy is doing all that to ensure Gurazala Assembly ticket for his brother Venkatrama Reddy in 2024 Assembly polls.

Ramakrishna Reddy has hatched a conspiracy to deny MLA ticket to sitting MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy in 2024 Assembly polls.

Mahesh Reddy and his followers are expressing severe anger at Ramakrishna Reddy interfering in Gurazala constituency instead of confining himself to his own Macharla constituency.

Ramakrishna Reddy is running a negative campaign against Kasu Mahesh Reddy stating that Mahesh Reddy lost voters confidence in Gurazala and YSRCP will lose this seat in 2024 if party gives ticket to Mahesh Reddy.

Ramakrishna Reddy is publicising YSRCP’s not so impressive performance in Gurazala constituency under the leadership of Mahesh Reddy in recent municipal polls where TDP bagged significant wards while he managed to secure a big majority for YSRCP in his Macharla constituency.

Ramakrishna Reddy is taking part in few programmes in Guruzala constituency frequently which is being strongly opposed by Mahesh Reddy supporters.

Has Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s apology check-mated TDP

1

By apologizing to Nara Bhuvaneswari, has Gannavaram’s renegade MLA successfully check-mated the TDP plan to use the sordid incident in the AP assembly? He has he hit the TDP’s campaign to get full mileage from the unfortunate incident? It appears he has made the very plans to reach out to the people redundant?

The unfortunate incident in which Vallabhaneni Vamsi made shocking comments against Nara Lokesh and dragged his mother and Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari into the whole controversy, has given the TDP a handle to beat the belligerent YSRCP. A teary eyed Chandrababu’s images and videos created a massive surge of sympathy for Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP began saying that the house was no longer a “gaurava sabha” (respected house) and that it had turned into a “Kaurava Sabha.”

The party even planned to hold public meetings at all places in Andhra Pradesh on the issue. At this stage, Vamsi has offered an open apology to Bhuvaneswari. Now the biggest dilemma is whether to go ahead with the idea of holding meetings across the state or not. After the apologies, the very raison d’tre for the sabhas has disappeared. If the TDP continues with the yatra even after the apology, it would be seen as exploiting the incident for political purposes.

Hence some prominent TDp leaders are said to have suggested that the party should go to the people on the people’s issues. The weekly strategy committee of the party is said to have discussed this issue in great detail. Another section wants to go ahead and exploit the happenings in the AP Assembly. These leaders feel that the focus should now be on Kodali Nani and Ambati Rambabu.

YSRCP readying young gun to take on Chandrababu in Kuppam?

1

Is the ruling YSRCP readying up a young gun to take on the might of Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam? Is it going to tell the world by Sankranthi as to who the young gun is? Will the YSRCP pit his youthful activist against an ageing Chandrababu Naidu?

For the YSRCP, Kuppam is the flavor of the season. It has managed to unseat the TDP in panchayat, MPTC, ZPTC and even municipal elections. This has happened for the first ever time in 40 years. By winning 19 of the 25 wards in Kuppam municipal council, the YSRCP has signaled that it is aiming at snatching away Kuppam Assembly Constituency too. The big boss of Chittoor, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, has already announced that Kuppam would pass into the hands of YSRCP in 2024.

It is now emerging that Bharat Reddy and Sudheer Reddy, both close relatives of Peddireddy, would be the probable YSRCP candidates. Peddireddy is readying strategies to ensure that Bharat is projected as the candidate. Thus the 2024 election is likely to turn into a straight contest between Peddireddy and Chandrababu.

Peddireddy’s family is dominating the district in politics. His son is the MP. His son Dwarakanath Reddy is an MLA. Bharat Reddy is already an MLC.

Is MP Magunta quitting YSRCP to join TDP?

0

Speculations are rife in YSRCP circles that YSRCP MP from Ongole constituency Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy is planning to quit YSRCP soon and join TDP.

‘Group politics’ in YSRCP in Prakasam district are cited as reasons for Magunta planning to quit YSRCP.

YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s close relatives and top leaders in YSRCP from Prakasam district, namely minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy and TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy are reportedly creating troubles for Magunta in Ongole and forcing him to quit YSRCP.

While Balineni wants his son to establish as a strong leader in Ongole, Subba Reddy also wants to increase his hold on his native district Prakasam.

Both these leaders want Magunta to quit YSRCP to achieve their goals.

They reportedly sidelined Magunta in the party in Prakasam district and humiliating him.

Magunta is reportedly very upset at party leadership ignoring him and he is also not being invited to participate even in development programmes launched in his constituency.

Magunta was three time MP from Congress in 1998, 2004 and 2009.

After bifurcation of AP in 2014, he quit Congress and joined TDP.

Though he lost 2014 Lok Sabha polls, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu nominated him as MLC.

However, he quit TDP and joined YSRCP just before 2019 general elections and won Ongole Lok Sabha seat.

Magunta wants to join TDP again where he got respect.

Minister ends up as a joke unable to explain OTS scheme

0

In an attempt to defend Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s OTS scheme for housing, a key minister ended up making a joke of himself. The incident occurred in Chittoor district. The minister organized a press conference to defend the OTS.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the scheme was a very good one and that it would benefit the people, especially the poor. He called upon the people not to have any misgivings about the scheme. During the press meet, he fumbled for answers. As the media began asking questions, he suddenly went blank and said that he has no knowledge of the scheme. He told the media that he would get the information from his associate.

Then, he asked his PA about the scheme. The PA too feigned ignorance.

Then the minister simply rushed into the anteroom and called up the secretary of his minister to get details. However, the secretary could not pick up the phone. After about 10 minutes, the mediapersons left the place. The minister then was upset. He is said to have fired at his staff and said that he should not have been given such heavy topics about which his knowledge is minimal.

Sources say that the minister usually avoids the media and is known to fumble even on normal issues. It is also interesting that the minister came to the press meet without any prior knowledge of the subject he was tasked to defend. This has now become the talk of the town.

YSRCP MP Madhav threatened to murder me: Raghurama complains to Modi!

0

YSRCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju made sensational allegations against YSRCP Hindupur Lok Sabha member Gorantla Madhav.

Raju alleged that Madhav threatened to murder him for criticising YSRCP and AP CM YS Jagan. Raju said that Madhav threatened him in Parliament premises.

Raju said while he was passing through Parliament corridor, Madhav came to him and threatened to murder him if he fails to stop criticisim against YSRP and AP CM YS Jagan.

Raju on Wednesday (Tuesday) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi complaining against Madhav for threatening to murder him right in Parliament premises.

Raju said YSRCP MPs had abused him in Lok Sabha two days ago when the House was in session and now one of them threatened to murder in Parliament premises.

Raju said YSRCP has brought murder and abusive politics from AP to Parliament.

Raju requested YS Jagan to attend court cases personally and come out clean instead of trying to delay cases by seeking exemptions from personal appearance in courts in quid pro quo cases registered by CBI and ED against Jagan.

Why is YSRCP disowning Vallabhaneni Vamsi?

0

Has YSRCP taken TDP renegade MP Vallabhaneni Vamsi for a ride? Has it employed the “use and throw” method to use him and then disown him? Why is the YSRCP claiming that it has nothing to do with Vallabhaneni Vamsi as he is a TDP MLA and not a YSRCP MLA?

On the issue of the abuse of Nara Bhuvaneswari on the floor of the assembly, the YSRCP is clearly on the defensive. It has realised that it has bitten more than it could chew. Now that the issue is turning out to be counter-productive for the party, the YSRCP is trying to wash its hands of the whole controversy. After Vamsi offered apologies, the YSRCP cabal virtually disowned him saying that it has got nothing to do with his apologies. The YSRCP is claiming that he is not a YSRCP member.

It is now becoming increasingly clear that the party is trying to wash its hands off the whole episode and is claiming that Vamsi is a TDP leader. Senior YSRCP MLAs Ambati Rambabu and Rachamalli Sivaprasad Reddy said that Vamsi is officially not a YSRCP member. This comment must have shocked Vamsi, who is now an unofficial member of the YSRCP.

Interestingly, it was Vamsi, who first spoke about Bhuvaneswari on the floor of the assembly. Later, YSRCP leaders such as Kodali Nani, Ambati Rambabu and Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy took cue and got more vocal. But soon after Chandrababu cried and the Nandamuri family entered the fray, they realised that the tide was turning against them. Hence they almost abandoned Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Meanwhile Vamsi apologised to Bhuvaneswari and this was reason enough to disown him completely.

6 AP ministers build swank new houses in Hyderabad!!

1

The YSRCP has always criticised TDP chief and former CM Chandrababu Naidu for having a residence in Hyderabad. Whenever repairs are undertaken to this house, this is made out to be a big issue. Similarly, the ruling party raises the issue of Chandrababu not having a residence of his own in the Amravati area. They point out that YS Jagan has built a house for himself in Tadepalli and say that he is functioning out of that building as the CM of the state.

Interestingly, those who have all along criticised Chandrababu for building a house in Hyderabad, are now trying to build houses in the very same place. If sources are to be believed, at least six ministers of Andhra Pradesh have now got houses constructed in Hyderabad. These leaders wanted a house in Hyderabad in view of their business interests.

Sources say that the real estate sector has grown multi-fold in Telangana while in AP, there is a stagnation in Andhra Pradesh. Confusion over the state capital and other political issues seem to be having their impact on the realty sector in AP. On the contrary, the real estate is zooming on the fast lane in Telangana.

But what is interesting is that six ministers are getting their new houses ready in Hyderabad in one go. They are said to be keeping this a secret and want no public glare. Sources say that these ministers want to make investments in Hyderabad as making investments in AP could land them in controversies. Sources say that more ministers could follow suit.
