Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu are teaming up for the third time and the film is titled Akhanda. Touted to be a high voltage action entertainer loaded with all the mass elements, the film presents Balakrishna in a dual role. Both the looks and the short teasers of Balakrishna received a thunderous response from the audience. The last schedule and the climax portions are canned in Tamil Nadu and the entire shoot of Akhanda is wrapped up completely.

Excluding Baahubali, no filmmaker spent 80 + days for the action episodes. Boyapati Srinu and his action team designed some high voltage action stunts and they are canned for more than 80 days. This is the first non-Baahubali film to achieve a rare feat. The post-production work of the film too is happening at a faster pace and the film is expected to hit the screens in October. Pragya Jaiswal, Poorna are the heroines and Thaman is the music director. Akhanda is carrying terrific expectations.

The digital and satellite rights of Akhanda are acquired by Star MAA and Hotstar for a price of Rs 15 crores. The deal was closed recently. Two weeks of the film’s shoot is pending and it will be completed soon.

As of now, Akhanda will not have a summer release. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the leading ladies in this powerful action entertainer. Balayya’s look as Aghora impressed the fans big time. The film is made on a budget of Rs 60 crores and the makers will make decent profits even before the release considering the closed deals. Miryala Ravindar Reddy is the producer of Akhanda.
