I have seen his journey in his career. I loved the trailer of Akhanda and it is fantastic. Wish Akhanda is a booster for the career of Pragya Jaiswal” told Allu Arjun.

While Allu Arjun was speaking, the fans of Balayya were continuously pressurising him to say Jai Balayya. He took it very supportively and told that he knows how happy the fans will be if he says that word and for the sake of their happiness he will definitely say those words at the end. As promised he ended the speech with the words Jai Balayya and that made the day of Nandamuri fans.

Mega – Nandamuri Bonding turning Stronger

1

Mega and Nandamuri families are two big families of Tollywood and the legacy is being continued with the latest generation of actors. The heroes of both the families are rarely spotted together and there have been fan wars between them from the past few decades. Nandamuri Balakrishna surprised everyone after he signed a talk show for Aha which is owned by Allu Aravind and others. The show also reported record viewership for Aha. Thaman explains that it took more than a month for him to create the music for the ‘Akhanda’ title song. While singer Sri Krishna was in charge of the vocal supervision, Ananta Sriram penned the lyrics for the mass, devotional song.

The ‘Vakeel Saab’ music director also revealed that he and his team did extensive research on Aghoras and their way of life so as to get a grip on the composition for ‘Akhanda’. Pragya Jaiswal plays IAS officer in Balakrishna-starrer ‘Akhanda’

0

Pragya Jaiswal, who made her mark with Krish’s directorial ‘Kanche’ in Telugu, is now all set for ‘Akhanda’. Touted as a commercial action thriller, ‘Akhanda’ stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.

Pragya, who will be seen as an IAS officer in ‘Akhanda’, explains that the role she asserts is a strong one, which is potentially one of the most memorable characters in her acting career. In conversation with IANS, the actress shares her experience working with actor Balakrishna, director Boyapati Srinu, and the team.

“The role I have played in ‘Akhanda’ is something that I’ve never done before. I appear in the role of a bureaucrat, which appeals to the audience with a stronger conviction,” Pragya shares.

The excited actress expressed, “I am sure, the combination of Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna has turned out a great action thriller. I can’t wait to show the audience how well the movie has turned out”.

However, the actress had to face anxiety, regarding the shootings during the pandemic. But, she explains that her team made her quite comfortable by taking all the necessary precautions on the sets of ‘Akhanda’.

Pragya explains that she had very little time to prepare for the role. “I had to join the film sets as soon as I was roped in, so my prep time was very little. It took me a while to transform myself into the character, and that happened on the sets of ‘Akhanda’. I had taken a few references from the real-life lady cops and noted every detail related to their dressing, mannerisms, and small-big details. That helped me a lot to get a grip over the role, the ‘Kanche’ actress said.

“I want to credit Boyapati Srinu sir for all the efforts he had put in, to make my role appealing to the audience. He made sure the Pragya he wanted to show in ‘Akhanda’ doesn’t match any of the roles I have played in my previous movies”, Pragya explains.

The actress mentions that it makes her happy to see things getting back to normal after the pandemic, and explains that the real entertainment is to watch a good movie at the theaters. “No matter what, to watch a nice movie at the theatres is just blissful. I am thankful that the movies are back at the theatres.”

‘Akhanda’ releases on December 2 and has Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles. While actors Srikanth, Jagapathi Babu, and others appear in important roles, S.S. Thaman has scored the music for the commercial entertainer.

Balakrishna’s Akhanda Trailer: High Voltage Actioner

0

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu are teaming up for the third time with Akhanda, a high voltage action entertainer. The trailer of Akhanda is out today and it looks packed with loud action. Boyapati Sreenu seems to have continued with his genre of action. Balakrishna roars loud in two roles in the film and some of the episodes look intense. Srikanth who is playing the lead antagonist is well transformed and presented. The trailer hints that Balayya and Boyapati are ready with a treat for the masses. Thaman’s background score is an asset for the trailer of Akhanda.

But the trailer hints that Akhanda is packed with overloaded action and may not appeal to all the sections. The trailer is focused completely on action and did not reveal much about the other elements. The dialogues and presentation are excellent in the trailer. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the leading ladies. Jagapathi Babu has an important role in this action entertainer. December biggies yet to get a Clarity on Release

This December will have the release of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. Both these biggies are carrying huge expectations but they have to rely majorly on the theatrical market to recover their investments. The makers of Akhanda are in plans to release the film on December 2nd and the talks are on with the distributors. Some of them are hesitant to pay a huge amount as the ticket prices in AP are slashed. The distributors of recent successful films in AP suffered losses because of these situations.

A series of meetings are happening for now and there is no clarity on the release. If Akhanda releases on December 2nd, the makers have to convince the team of Ghani as the film was announced for December 3rd release long ago. Considering the budget, the makers of Akhanda have to bank on the theatrical deals which are crucial. But the unfavorable situations are leaving the makers of Akhanda puzzled. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is a way head in promotions but inside sources say that the film too may not hit the screens as per the plan if the theatrical deals are not impressive.

The distributors of AP are demanding a cut of 30 percent as the ticket pricing GO in AP is not revised. The budget of the film too has been increased and the makers have to close the deals of Pushpa for high prices to recover the major part of their investment. There are issues with the Hindi theatrical release and they would be sorted before the release. For now, Pushpa team is working to release the film on December 17th. Some big developments are expected in November.
