Music of Tamil superhit original not recreated for ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’
Achu Rajamani, who has scored the music for Rakesh Sashi’s ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’, which happens to be the Telugu remake of the Tamil superhit ‘Pyar Prema Kadhal’, said that he has not recreated any of the musical scores from the original Tamil version for the Telugu film.
Interestingly, the songs of the Tamil film, which had some scintillating music from Yuvan Shankar Raja, had gone on to emerge as chartbusters.
Achu Rajamani said: “I have watched ‘Pyar Prema Kadhal’ over five times, and it was an amazing project with the brilliant musical score of Yuvan Shankar Raja, who also produced the film. However, we have remade this movie as a fresh project.”
“We have tried giving our best efforts to remaking and delivering good music. We haven’t recreated any of the musical scores from the original Tamil version. There are five songs in this movie, among which a couple of them are already trending in audio charts, thereby increasing the expectations from this movie.”
The film, produced by Geetha Cine Arts, features Allu Arjun’s elder brother Allu Sirish and Anu Immanuel in the lead.
Achu Rajamani, who shot to fame for his remarkable musical score in Tamil movies like ‘Kolaiyudhir Kalam’, ‘Goli Soda 2’, ‘Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey’ and ‘Urumeen’, also goes on to disclose details of how he landed this project.
“The film’s hero Allu Sirish and I have been close friends since the year 2015. I got the opportunity to compose music for this film only through him.”
“Allu Sirish is a man of clarity. Be it choosing the script or the way he talks to you, there is clarity in everything. Sometimes, even before he answers or converses with us, he has a clear state of execution. He is much like his father Allu Aravind sir. Even when we are conversing about personal things, there wouldn’t be any mockeries and pulling our legs, instead, there would be a strong clarity and a legit conversation.”

Story: A middle-class software professional Sree Kumar (Allu Sirish) likes USA returned colleague Sindhu (Anu Emmanuel). Practical and easygoing attitude girl Sindhu uses Sree for her physical needs to start with. Sree who loves her insists on marriage but Sindhu prefers only a live-in relationship. The rest of the film is all about how the couple’s live-in life survives
Analysis:
‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ starts as a routine youthful theme but shows some strength of being an entertainer as it progresses. The IT office setup is relevant; the lead pair and supporting cast properly fit into the narrative. Director is able to replicate the middle-class boy’s mindset and the family backdrop. Sindhu’s characterization is in a convincing manner. The comedy scenes worked well with seasoned actors Sunil and vennela Kishore handled the department with distinction. The first half is entertaining enough; the second half is adequate entertaining as well, except for the utterly predictable pre-climax parts. The songs are not great but neither are the breakers.
The chemistry between the lead pair worked big time, for Tollywood standards, the intimate lip-lock scenes are excessive. Anu Emmanuel is hot and appeals to a youth audience.
Performances:
Allu Sirish performed Sree Kumar’s character with ease and he is relatable. If he continues choosing characters fit his body language, like the one in this film, he can make his career brighter. Anu Emmanuel who comes back after a break is nice as well. Vennela Kishore and Sunil showed their best side. Yesteryear’s heroine Amani as Allu sirish mother acted well. Overall, the casting ended up as a plus point for this film.
Director Rakesh is able to make the remake better than the original by infusing a good amount of entertainment. The conflict between the lead pair has been dealt with clearly and that helped in the overall impression of the film. Production values by GA2 are adequate

Allu brothers unveils Allu Ramalingaiah’s statue

Actor Allu Sirish posted an Instagram video flaunting his style quotient on Thursday, but he is all dressed and has nowhere to go owing to the pandemic.
