NBK109: Critically Acclaimed actors on Board
Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set for a mass entertainer and the film is tentatively titled NBK109. Bobby Kolli is the director of this mass entertainer. Bollywood star Bobby Deol is the lead antagonist in this untitled film. Tamil director Gautam Vasudev Menon has been roped in for a crucial role and Dulquer Salman will be seen in a cameo role. As per the latest update, critically acclaimed Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko is roped in to play an important role. The cast of NBK109 is getting bigger and interesting everyday.
Several critically acclaimed actors are now roped in to play important roles in the film. Chandini Chowdary and Urvashi Rautela will be playing other important roles. Thaman is the music director and Sithara Entertainments are the producers. The film is rumored to release for Dasara this year.
NBK109 Glimpse Loading
Nandamuri Balakrishna is shooting for his 109th film and Bobby Kolli is the director. Several large schedules are completed and Balayya will take a break for AP Elections that are scheduled in April. On the auspicious day of Maha Shivarathri, the team will unveil the glimpse of the film tomorrow. An official announcement for the same has been made today. Urvashi Rautela, Chandini Chowdary will be seen in other important roles and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is the lead antagonist.
Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Cinemas are the producers. NBK109 is said to be a mass entertainer. The film is rumored to hit the screens during Dasara this year. Balakrishna is expected to announce his next film post elections in summer.
Balakrishna to take a break from Films
The political fever has gripped Andhra Pradesh and the Assembly, Parliament polls are expected to take place soon. Pawan Kalyan has already taken a break from films and he is completely focused on AP politics. Now, Nandamuri Balakrishna will head for political engagements and he is expected to take a two-month break from politics. The notification is expected to be out soon and Balayya will take a break from the shoot of his upcoming film directed by Bobby. The shoot of the film is happening without breaks and 50 percent of the shoot is wrapped up already.
Bobby and his team will have to wait for the arrival of Balayya till the elections get concluded. The film is said to be a high voltage action entertainer that is made on a big budget and is produced by Sithara Entertainments. Balakrishna will contest from Hindupur Assembly constituency and he will participate in the election campaign soon. Balakrishna will also announce his new film after the elections are completed in Andhra Pradesh.
Young directors lining up for Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna scored back-to-back hits and he is in demand. The veteran actor even hiked his fee and he has been taking advances from the producers that are approaching him. He is shooting for Bobby’s film and it is a powerful action entertainer that will release this year. Balayya has been in talks with several young directors for his future projects. Hanuman fame Prasanth Varma is in talks with the veteran actor from a year and the project materializes after Prasanth Varma completes Jai Hanuman. Sudhakar Cherukuri will produce this project.
Balayya is also on a hunt for a young director to handle Aditya 999, the sequel of Aditya 369. As per the update, Shyam Singha Roy fame Rahul Sankrityan is in talks with Balayya for a film and the talks are going on. Mythri Movie Makers will produce this film. Anil Ravipudi announced that he would soon work with Balakrishna again. Apart from these, several young and upcoming directors are waiting to meet Balayya and narrate scripts. Boyapati Srinu is the only senior director working with Balakrishna in the coming years apart from the young directors.
Exclusive: Balakrishna and Geetha Arts film locked
Nandamuri Balakrishna is committed of doing a film for Geetha Arts after he did ‘Unstoppable’ show for Aha. Allu Aravind too was quite interested to work with the veteran actor. Telugu360 has exclusively learned that the film is locked and mass helmer Boyapati Srinu will direct the film. Recently, Geetha Arts made an announcement that the production house will collaborate with Boyapati Srinu. Tollywood speculated that Allu Arjun is the lead actor in the film but it is Balakrishna who will play the lead role in this film.
The film is also the sequel for Akhanda and Boyapati started working on the script. An official announcement will be made soon and the shoot commences during the second half of this year. Akhanda 2 is aimed for summer 2025 release. The technicians and the lead actors will be finalized by Boyapati after the final script is locked.
New Controversy sparks at NTR Ghat
Marking the death anniversary of legendary personality NTR, the Nandamuri family members paid their respects at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. NTR Jr and Kalyanram paid their respects early this morning and Balakrishna paid his respects later. A lot of banners were displayed by NTR Jr fans around the Ghat and this did not go well with Balakrishna. He instructed that all the banners should be removed and his fans removed all the flexi banners in no time. This made it clear about the differences between Balakrishna and NTR Jr again.
NTR and Kalyanram have been away from the family engagements from the past few months and they did not even visit Nara Chandrababu Naidu after he was released on bail in the Skill Development Scam Case. NTR is tightlipped on the ongoing issue. He resumed the shoot of Devara today in Hyderabad. Kalyanram is currently preparing himself for his next film that will start rolling soon.
Buzz: NBK to try a new Genre
Nandamuri Balakrishna is working with several young and new-age directors. His film with Prashanth Varma has been under discussion from a long time. During his recent interactions, Prashanth Varma revealed that he pitched the basic idea to Balakrishna sometime ago and the final call would be taken by the actor. He also said that this film falls in a new genre that is never attempted on Indian screen till date. He also said that the concept poster is locked and things will be announced at the right time.
Prashanth Varma’s next film Hanu Man is hitting the screens on January 12th. If the film ends up as a hit, he may get an opportunity to work with Balakrishna. Apart from these, Prashanth Varma is also working on several scripts and he is all set to produce films this year. Exclusive: Dulquer Salman in NBK’s Next
Balakrishna is racing ahead with back-to-back hits. The veteran actor recently commenced the shoot of his next film directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby). We have an interesting update and the film is said to be a multi-starrer. Malayalam actor Dulquer Salman has been roped in to play an important role in this untitled film. Dulquer shot fame in Telugu with Mahanati and Sita Ramam. The actor is also shooting for his next Telugu film Lucky Baskhar. Impressed with the narration of Bobby, Dulquer signed the film.
It is unclear if he is playing a role with negative shades or a crucial one. He will join the sets of the film very soon. Bobby’s last film Waltair Veerayya too is a multi-starrer. The team is expected to make an official announcement about the news very soon. The heroine is yet to be finalized and announced. Balayya hikes his Fee
Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the most affordable actors of Telugu cinema. Even when the young actors hiked their fee and are turning out to be a stress for the producers, Balayya took his worth. After scoring back-to-back hits, Balakrishna has now hiked his fee. The actor will be taking home Rs 25 crores as remuneration which is the highest for NBK in his career. He took Rs 18 crores for Bhagavanth Kesari and he is charging Rs 25 crores for Bobby’s film that commenced shoot recently.
Balakrishna allocated bulk dates and he wants this untitled film to be out for summer 2024. The heroine is yet to be announced and Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas are the producers.
NBK109 aims a Summer Release
Nandamuri Balakrishna is on cloud nine with back-to-back hits. The actor took a small break and he joined the sets of his 109th film directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby). The shoot of the film is happening in Hyderabad currently. The team planned back-to-back schedules and Balakrishna too allocated bulk dates for the film in the next three months. The team is aiming a summer release for NBK109 and the film releases in May 2024. There are reports that the film will release in April 2024 and will clash with NTR’s Devara but it is untrue.

Balakrishna to host Bigg Boss?
Nandamuri Balakrishna i racing ahead with back-to-back hits. His talk show Unstoppable is also a super hit and is one of the most-rated shows. The latest speculation says that he is all set to host the next season of Bigg Boss Telugu. , NTR and Nagarjuna hosted the show earlier and Nag is hosting the current season Bigg Boss Season 7. The team of Disney Plus Hotstar have approached Balakrishna to host the next season and the response is positive.
Nagarjuna too wanted to take a break from Bigg Boss and he informed the team members recently. The team of Bigg Boss felt that Balakrishna would be the perfect choice for the next season and approached him. An official announcement will be made at the right time.
Bhagavanth Kesari First week Worldwide Collections – Third highest for NBK
Bhagavanth Kesari has a decent first week with a worldwide distributor share of 47 Cr. This is the third highest first week for a NBK starrer behind Veera Simha Reddy & Akhanda. The film initially had an average show till Saturday, has picked up from Sunday as the reports are very positive and dominating other releases. Overall first week numbers of the film can be termed as decent. Now it needs to be seen how the film will fare from today as the festivity period is almost over.

Bhagavanth Kesari has taken an average opening with a distributor share of 16 Cr worldwide. Gross Collections of the film are around 25 Cr. Occupancies of the film were not encouraging from the morning shows itself and it got better for the night shows owing to good word of mouth. This is the third-highest opening for NBK after Veera Simha Reddy & Akhanda. The film is carrying good report among the audience and is expected to do well till Wednesday as it is a holiday season.
