Vijay Devarakonda is at his peak in his career now. After huge success of Geeta Govindam, his following among youth got doubled. Today (August 19th) he is joining Bigg Boss house along with his director Parshuram. Star Maa has released promo regarding this and obviously it raised lot of curiosity among audience.

In the promo, It is seen that Nani and Vijay were having lot of fun with housemates. Especially they were seen teasing Deepthi Sunaina a lot. The promo surely raised expectations on today’s episode. Vijay Devarakonda’s Geetha Govindam movie is still going strong in theatres and team is still promoting the movie on large scale.

Big Boss show is getting very good TRPs and show is growing bigger and bigger each day. Also it was seen that the votes polled by audience for reentry of Nutan Naidu and Shyamala were close to the total votes polled for grand finale episode in Bigg Boss season 1 Telugu.

We will have to wait and see how much ratings this episode with both Vijay Devarakonda and Nani in the show will bring for Star MAA.

It’s weekend episode of Bigg boss again! As usual, Saturday’s episode was filled with humor and emotions. By the start of this episode, Syamala, Geeta Madhuri, Roll Rida, Deepthi Sunaina and Pooja were in the nominations for eviction. Nutan Naidu also nominated but he was out of the house because of injury. There is no clarity yet whether he will be back into house or not. In this episode, during his interaction with housemates, Nani slammed Tanish, Kaushal and Amit.

Tanish was captain of the house during the week and the way he handled nomination process was very much appreciated by audience and Nani also gave compliments to Tanish on that. I was being a captain thanks violating Bigg Boss house rules and sleeping during the day was taken seriously by Big Boss, who gave him punishment of not sleeping for one full night. Deepthi Sunaina was also with him and so she also got same punishment. Nani slammed Tanish on this.

Kaushal also was slammed by Nani this week. Kaushal has been saying since second week that there is no support from him in the house and all the housemates are cornering him in the house. Even during the process of nominations also Kaushal tried to play that same sympathy card which other housemates opposed and reminded him that they stood for him on several occasions. Nani also slammed Kaushal on the same point and reminded that housemates are supporting him on several occasions but still Kaushal himself is not reciprocating to them in right way. There was one incident happened during the week which Nani reminded Kaushal – during call centre task Kaushal was talking over the phone and he had to go for nature call. But if he disconnects the call he will lose point. So his teammates Nutan Naidu, Amit and Deepti covered him with blanket as Kaushal passes urine in a bucket, which Nutan Naidu disposed. Nani came down heavily on Kaushal and questioned him, “When your team mates, including lady housemate, helped you in nature call, how can you justify saying you are not getting support in the house? “. Actually Kaushal could not defend himself when Nani slammed him. But Nani himself changed the tone a bit and told him to take this as an advice and stop playing that sympathy card.

Nani also slammed Amit, albeit mildly. Actually Amit got protection cover for two weeks as Kamal Hassan give him that cover when he was in house. so Amit became little complacent for last two weeks and not giving his best as he knows that he will not be evicted from the house for 2 weeks. Nani told Amit that he should put his best efforts respective of whether he is in the nomination or not.

Finally out of the 5 people who are in nomination ( excluding Nutan Naidu), Shyamala and Geetha Madhuri were protected and remaining three – Roll Rida, Pooja and Deepthi Sunaina are still in danger zone. As per the trends in social media, it seems, Deepthi Sunaina will be out of the house tomorrow but we will have to wait and see to know who will be evicted from the house.

Nutan Naidu, who re-entered the Bigg boss house recently had to leave the house unfortunately. During a task he got hurt and because of the injury he had to leave the house.

Call center task entertained audience for last couple of days and finally Kaushal’s team won over Tanish’s team. Roll Rida, belonging to Tanish team played different than all others as he won the points without provoking emotions. Ganesh who has been passive for last many weeks also proved himself this week. So when bigg boss asked housemates to choose 2 persons for the contenders for captaincy. Kaushal, Roll Rida and Ganesh were chosen by the most and out of these three, finally Kaushal and Roll Rida fought for captaincy.

Bigg boss gave both of them some cubical shape boxes, which they have to arrange in the shape of pyramid. Other housemates can hit the cubes but contenders have to save them and whoever saves more will become captain. Roll Rida saved 76 cubes while Kaushal saved only 69 cubes. So Roll Rida became the captain. However while throwing ball, Nutan Naidu’s shoulder got dislocated and he was taken to doctor room in the house by the housemates.

After examining him, doctors found that injury was very critical and he needs to be admitted into hospital for the treatment and so he has to leave the house. Nutan Naidu told he had similar shoulder problem 5 years back also. Nutan Naidu recently entered into the house and in the first week after rejoining also he got leg injury during a task and he took rest for couple of days inside the house, Now, as this injury is bigger, he had to leave the house. He spent 2 weeks in the house after re-entry (2nd Aug to 17th Aug).

Yesterday’s call center task continued today too. The task was – house divided into two teams – Call center employees and public callers. Whoever puts off the phone first will lose a point to another.

Ganesh, who was Radio jockey in real life, seems to have utilized his professional experience as he was able to talk for hours without disconnecting the call. In fact, he was able to irritate Kaushal, who is generally very composed. He could achieve what Geetha or Deepthi Sunaina couldn’t. Ganesh later called Amit and got another point as he was able to speak without disconnecting the call. Later when the roles are reversed also, he received call from Syamala and again he managed not to lose a point.

But it was the camaraderie between Tanish and Kaushal that was the highlight of the episode. Kaushal, as public caller, called Tanish, who is now call center employee. But it seems Kaushal utilized this opportunity to know more about the housemates and especially Tanish. Both Tanish and Kaushal are strong contestants. During the call, Kaushal told Tanish is a good flirt for which Tanish responded that he had a ‘Guru’ in the house in the form of Kaushal. Kaushal laughed off and asked with whom he flirted in the house. Tanish told he flirted with Nandini and also reminded Kaushal that he also flirted with Nandini. Kaushal laughed but was trying to defend himself but Tanish immediately told, “A thief only knows about other thief”. Both of them had a good laugh. Finally, as none of them put off the call by the time the session is over, both got one point.

Bigg boss today gave call center task to housemates. Housemates are divided into two groups. One group is call center employees and the other group is public who calls customer care center.

Syamala’s double standards:

Before call center task, Syamala was seen highly disappointed with her nomination yesterday. Yesterday, Syamala was saved initially as her counter part Deepthi Sunaina was nominated. After being saved, Syamala told appreciated Tanish and Amit about being very genuine in their decision. Later from TV9 Deepthi and Nutan Naidu pair, Nutan was nominated. Then Syamala told him not to worry as he got support of audience and it was evident in 4 crore votes he got for renentry.

But later bigg boss gave twist to the story and asked Tanish, captain of the house, to nominate one more person from the saved candidates. Tanish, who earlier nominated Pooja and Nutan by giving the reason that they spent less time than other candidates in the house and so took less stress than others, applied the same logic to Syamala and nominated her. But Syamala, who appreciated Tanish earlier and said his decision is genuine and cheered up Nutan by saying he got audience support, was seen terribly disappointed and couldn’t hide her anger. She also entered recently along with Nutan Naidu and she also got crores of votes. Later, she went to Kaushal and displayed her frustration in discussion. She also told to bigg boss that, only because of Sunaina Tanish has nominated her eviction.

Call center task and Kaushal smartness:

Housemates were divided into 2 groups – Call center employees and ‘public’ calling to call center. Whoever puts off phone first, caller or call center employee, will lose one point to other. Geetha from the group of Public called Kaushal, call center employee. But she could not make highly-composed Kaushal put-off phone and lost a point. Then Tanish called Syamala and he also lost point to Call center group. Then Roll Rida did a prank and won a point. He called Samrat and asked if it is Kaushal. Samrat thought the call was wrongly routed to him and put off the phone and lost a point.

Then Deepthi Sunaina called Kaushal and tried to irritate him but Kaushal played very intelligently with her. Deepthi Sunaina initially showed her talent and talked to him bravely and tried all the tricks to irritate Kaushal. She asked him to tell some story. Then Kaushal proved his smartness and started telling random stories but he made sure the names or incidents he used in the story have some relation with her personal life. Deepthi Sunaina., who was talking very bravely till then, suddenly got connected with something in the story and tears started rolling from her eyes.

As of now, Call center team, in which Kaushal is part, is leading compared to other team (public callers) and the task will be continued in next episode.

Bigg boss weekend episodes are interesting because people want to see who will be in protected zone and who will be evicted from the house. Before the start of this episode, Babu Gogineni, Tanish, Ganesh, Deepthi (TV9), Geetha and Shyamala were in nominated list.

Nani today spoke to each housemate and sought clarifications from them on their behavior during this week. While seeking clarifications and pointing out their mistakes was a serious task, Nani made sure the episode is entertaining and enjoyable with his sense of humor. He asked Nutan Naidu why he is calling every one “raa, orey ” after his re-entry while he used to call them very respectfully in his initial episodes. Similarly he pointed out drastic change in Syamala’s behaviour and told both of them revealing their “Ramu” and “Remo” (remember Aparichitudu movie?) personalities to audience. Nani also evoked laughs while poking fun at Ganesh’s commentary on rain (who called rain as “vedi vedi vaana which means hot rain) in weekday episode.

Finally, Geetha and Syamala entered protected zone leaving 4 members – Babu Gogineni, Tanish, Ganesh and Deepthi still in danger zone. As per social media reporters and unofficial sources, Babu Gogineni is the one who will be evicted from the house tomorrow. But we will have to wait and see till next episode to know this.

“Men vs Women” task is completed today and Men won the task as they got more gold coins than women. There have been several tasks as part of this game including changing flat tyre task for woman and shedding tears task for men (https://www.telugu360.com/bigg-boss-tidbits-women-changed-flat-tyre-and-men-shed-tears/). Finally Deepthi and Tanish emerged contenders for captaincy.

Men vs Women game

To start with, Bigg boss gave some coins to both the teams and gave bath room and living room to men and bedroom and kitchen to women. To use the room that are in control of other team, they have to pay them some coins. While women team were waiting for some buzzer sound or similar to start, the task Kaushal had taken all the coins and Pooja fought with Kaushal and said it’s unfair. Kaushal defended himself that there was no mention of buzzer or anything to start the game. Pooja had heated argument with Kaushal and said they can’t start on losing note. But Kaushal didn’t agree. Kaushal’s playing such game didn’t get much support from his own team too.

Best performers in the game

After entire game is over, and men’s team won the game Bigg boss asked the housemates to choose best performers. All men should choose one best performer from men and all women should choose one best performer from women. Women were able to choose Deepthi quickly and unanimously but men couldn’t choose best performer unanimously and they had to go by majority vote.

During this debate, Babu voted for Samrat and Tanish. Ganesh voted for Babu ad Tanish, Roll Rida voted for Babu and Tanish, Amit voted for Tanish and himself. Kaushal voted himself but as Tanish got more votes, Tanish became best performer from men’s team. Kaushal defended himself very strongly and tried to convince others that he performed well. He told, he was very involved in the task but other men opined, almost unanimously, that he played a solo game rather than team game. When it comes to team game and fair game, Tanish scored well. So, despite all the involvement in the game and even facing the allegations that he is playing unfair to win the game, Kaushal did not become contender for captaincy.

What Kaushal is missing?

No doubt, Kaushal is involved completely in the game, he is very ambitious and focused person and has eyes on winning the title (https://www.telugu360.com/bigg-boss-telugu-2-kaushal-liked-by-his-fans-and-hated-by-housemates-part-1/). It is this focus, seriousness and grit that won him fans in short span of time. But he was unable to win the trust of housemates, as mentioned earlier (https://www.telugu360.com/biggboss2-telugu-kaushal-fans-and-housemates-part-2/) and that is costing him a lot. He is always playing solo game.

Had he focused on winning it as a team rather than playing his solo game, or had he bonded with other housemates at least to some extent, he would have won votes from his team members. Kaushal is very focused and ambitious but he needs to understand, he needs support of other housemates too sometimes. After all, anyone can win the game (or life) if all others support him and lift him with their hands. No one can win the game (or life) by walking over heads of all others.

Why most of the housemates hate him or dislike him?

Most of the housemates, at one point of time were completely against Kaushal. it was evident, when most of the housemates nominated Kaushal for eviction in one of the episodes. It would be naïve to say it is just because of jealousy on Kaushal.

Selfish nature

Liking someone is different from living with that person or even sharing accommodation with that person. If you are sharing accommodation with a person you expect a few things from him like adjusting mentality, accommodating behaviour and friendly nature. If a person is openly saying that he is there in the house not to make friendships or relations and his sole aim is to play the game (read it, to win the title), obviously it very offend other housemates.

Most housemates had issues with his behaviour

• Tejaswi told (in an interview, after coming out of the house) Kaushal used to eat food in the house at night times after everybody slept. Remember there was a big fight related to food when Tejaswi starved because of lack of food while some other teammates were wasting food. • Kiriti told (in an interview, after coming out of the house), Kaushal used to use’ ladies bathrooms’ when gents bathroom was busy. Remember, Samrat (as captain) pointed out ( without naming anyone directly) on this issue too and told “whoever using ladies bathroom, pls lift the commode seat – at least with your leg” in that same “ferocious episode”. It’s obvious that some lady housemates complained on this to captain.
• Babu gogineni called Kaushal as the most dangerous candidate as he would do anything and everything to win the game.
• Deepthi Sunaina was the first one to target Kaushal after he touched her during a task.
• Deepthi, Roll Rida, and almost all the housemates have one incident or other with Kaushal like this.

Overall, is selfish nature, his over ambitious nature, too much of self-consciousness seems to be the reasons for housemates disliking him.

Why some audience also dislike Kaushal

Kaushal is kind of a person who is either loved are hated but can’t be ignored. Kaushal has fans as well as anti-fans. Some audience connected with him emotionally because he persisted when everyone else bullied him. His fans turned very sensitive and cannot take even slightest criticism on him and reacting strongly on anyone criticizing him.

Now apply the same logic. When housemates bullied Kaushal, audience connected to him and sympathized with him. Now Kaushal fans trolling anyone criticizing him, doing “dedicated” voting to evict the ones fighting with Kaushal in house. So, by the same logic, because of such strong reaction from Kaushal fans, others are polarizing against Kaushal and pointing out fallacies in his attitude and behaviour. Overall:

Overall it seems Kaushal is the luckiest person out of all the housemates in this season. Because, it is not easy for any on screen personality to strike an emotional connection with the audience. Sometimes it takes years to build such emotional connection. But Kaushal achieving it within 50 days is definitely no small feat and probably he is lucky enough too. But definitely, he is not “loved by all” type personality like Season-1 title winner Shiva Balaji.

We will have to wait and see whether Kaushal will really win the title. Of course, “Anything can happen in Bigg boss house”.

Nandini’s journey in Bigg boss house came to an end after she got evicted from the house today. Totally 5 contestants were nominated for eviction this week. But Kaushal and Babu gogineni entered safe zone in previous episode itself. Deepthi nallamothu, Ganesh and Nandini were in the list of nominations at the start of this episode. People expected there will be double Dhamaka this week as there are already wild card entries as well as re-entries into the house. But surprisingly Big Boss went for single eviction today.

Nandini did well in the role of princess in one of the episodes. Her performance in negative role in movie making task earned her lot of fans. However, she was passive in the house and Nani used to tease her that she became part of furniture in the house. Also like some other contestants who were evicted earlier, she also has link of fighting with Kaushal during the week of her eviction. It was known news that she blamed Kaushal in yesterday episode for flipping his stand during Pirates and survivors task (https://www.telugu360.com/bigg-boss-2-telugu-tidbits-nani-slammed-kaushal-for-flipping-his-stand/).

While leaving, she has thrown big bomb on Roll Rida and as per this big bomb task, Roll Rider has to do head massage to one of the housemates everyday and discuss about problems in the house.

Nani’s Bigg boss show is getting bigger and bigger each day as it is receiving tremendous response from audience. However, court cases and legal issues contestants have outside the house are creating troubles for the show.

Samrat:

Yesterday, Bigg boss told Samrat that he may have to go out of bigg boss house for a while as he needs to meet some people in relation with a police case filed on him. So he will be out of the house for an hour or two. Bigg boss ordered Samrat not to reveal any details of this to housemates. Even though Bigg boss didn’t reveal the case details or any other details on this, it is known to audience that Samrat had some police cases filed on him around January this year. Cyberabad Police had arrested Samrat Reddy on a complaint filed by his wife Harshitha Reddy, who accused him of theft and house trespass. He and his wife were living separately, following some marital dispute. They got married in 2015 but later living separately. His wife alleged that he has harassed and tortured her for dowry. Based on the complaint by his wife, police filed a case under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 380 (theft in dwelling house) and 448 (house trespass) against Samrat Reddy. The case is still ongoing.

Babu Gogineni:

Babu also has police cases on him. Babu Gogineni is Executive Director of the International Humanist and Ethical Union. A case was registered against him after a person complained in Madhapur police station that he and his institutes are collecting Aadhaar numbers and personal details of people by organizing events and providing the data to the website of South Asian Humanist Association which is hosted in Malaysia. There were rumors that Babu also might need to come out of the house because of these cases, but court gave some more time for this.

Nutan Naidu:

Nutan also joined the bandwagon. Recenly, after Nutan reentered the house, a person by name Siva came to media channels and slammed Nutan heavily. He alleged that Nutan has cheated him for 3 crores. He also made strong allegations that Nutan is fraud and he keeps telling people that he knows Bala Krishna, Sujana chowdary and many more and he collects money from people who needs some favors from government by assuring he will lobby for them. He also told, Nutan has spent 35 lakhs to ‘impress a heroine. Siva told he “would” be filing case on Nutan along with others who got cheated by Nutan naidu.

Season-1:

In season-1 too, contestants like Mumaith and Navdeep had similar controversies, Mumaith had to leave house for a day to attend inquiry on drug case. Navdeep, who joined house as wild card, also had similar allegations. But before joining the house itself he attended police inquiry.

Anyway controversies and Bigg boss go hand-in-hand.

Bigg boss show is getting interesting day by day with unexpected twists and turns. Audience also seem to be more emotionally connected to the contestants this season, which is evident from humongous volume of discussions and debates happening about the show and the incidents taking place inside the house. Usually, every week, Nani slams a few contestants for what they did during this week episodes. But first time in recent times, Nani cornered Kaushal.

Deepthi hurt during “Pirates and Survivors” task earlier

It is known that there was “Pirates and Survivors” task that lasted for 2 days and Pooja ,who surprised audience with her daring performance, became captain for this week. The task was – housemates are split into 2 groups – pirates and survivors. Survivors are supposed to hang on to a plank. Pirates will attempt to drag them off from the plank but Survivor team mates have to resist that and make all attempts to hang on to plank without letting their foot touch the ground. During this task, Nandini and Kaushal were part of same team and they tried to pull off Deepthi Nallamothu from the plank by flipping the plank and Deepthi was hurt during the task.

Nani exposed Kausal’s change of words

Nani today sought an explanation from Kaushal on this. Kaushal told that he is against “flipping” the plank during the task and he never told Nandini to flip the plank to make Deepthi fall from the plank. After listening to him patiently, Nani played the clip of the task, in which Kaushal was saying to Nandini to flip the plank. Then Kaushal admitted that he told Nandini to flip the plank but it was because every other member is doing same he also agreed to ‘flip’ it even though he doesn’t like it. But Nani didn’t stop there. Nani asked Nandini’s response on Kaushal’s explanation. She too blamed Kaushal because as soon as she started flipping the plank, Kaushal moved away from the plank and so she couldn’t handle plank and Deepthi and so Deepthi got hurt. Then again Nani asked Kaushal’s explanation and Kaushal tried to defend himself but in vain.

Nani’s advise to Kaushal

Then Nani told Kaushal that, because of his behavior in previous episodes, he got many fans among audience and pointed out that he may lose the same fans if he continues such flipping of words in future. He reminded that “Anything can happen in Bigg Boss show” and earning fans from audience happens so quickly during Bigg boss show but at the same losing them happens even faster.

Some of the other highlights during the show are – Geetha Madhuri imitating Mumaith Khan so perfectly, Nutan Naidu’s birthday falling on the same day and one of the audience get a chance to talk to one of the housemates over phone and he chose to talk to Pooja. Out of the 5 nominated for eviction, Babu and Kaushal came into protected zone today.

No, not in Bigg boss Telugu, but it happened in Bigg boss Tamil. A complaint filed against host Kamal Haasan, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 and Vijay TV with Chennai police commissioner after they portrayed Late Jayalalitha as dictator in the show.

In one of the episodes of the show, the contestants were given a weekly task, where one of the house mates had to act as a dictator. In that episode, Kamal finally made comments that “you know what happened to the dictators that ruled the state”. This was seen as attempt by Kamal to defame Late Jayalalitha. It is known news that Kamal and Jayalalitha had rifts when she was alive, during Vishwaroopam-1 movie release.

The complaint was filed by a lawyer named Louisal Ramesh. The complainant mentioned that Kamal statements are an attempt to defame the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. Last month also fringe group Hindu Makkal Katchi threatened to file a police complaint against Bigg Boss Tamil and Kamal Haasan. Later, they also staged a protest outside Vijay TV office, the channel that hosts the show, asking a ban on the show as it is against Tamil culture.

Anyway compared to Tamil show, Telugu show is much better as both Jr NTR and Nani always ensured show doesn’t land into police cases and all such stuff.
