Brahmastra is all set to hit the big screens on 9th September 2022. The movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy is one of the most awaited films of the year.
The producers had planned a grand event in Hyderabad for today, which was to take place at Ramoji Film City. The event at Ramoji Film City, however, has been cancelled, much to everyone’s surprise. The producers immediately scheduled a formal press conference in a hotel.
NTR attended the event as the event’s chief guest. SS Rajamouli, who is presenting the film, and the entire team were also present at the event. Attendees included Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, Karan Johar, and others. NTR attended the event and his words energised the entire team.
NTR apologised to fans and the media for the event’s cancellation and lauded the cast. He also discussed the current pressures on the Indian film industry.
NTR stated “Global pressure is now exerting itself on Indian cinema. The audience expects more than what we are currently delivering, and I believe we perform better under pressure, which I believe is beneficial. The film industry must meet the challenge and create good and great films for our audiences.”
Brahmastra Pre Release event at RFC: NTR as Chief Guest
‘Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva,’ the latest film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. On September 9th, this Pan India film will be released worldwide.

Shah, NTR might have discussed politics too, says GVL
BJP Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao gave enough indications on the dinner meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah with Tollywood actor Junior NTR in Hyderabad two days ago. Though he did not give a clear statement on what transpired between the two during the dinner meeting, the BJP MP said that they might have discussed politics too.
There is widespread debate on the meeting between Amit Shah and Junior NTR both in the social media and the regular media. The print media had given wide coverage with videos, while the electronic media had organised political debate on the meeting.
The social media had seen several posts making comments on the meeting and making wild guesses. The video clips and the photographs of the meeting went viral in the social media with speculations.
Union Minister for Culture, G Kishen Reddy, said the meeting had no political significance and Shah wanted to congratulate Junior NTR for his action in the recent pan India movie – RRR. However, YSR Congress MLA and former minister Kodali Nani said that Amit Shah would not waste his time meeting people without political interest.
Subscribing to Kodali Nani’s statement, the BJP MP said that they might not have limited their discussion only to the film activities of the actor. “There is no doubt, politics too must have been one of the discussion points in the meeting,” GVL Narasimha Rao asserted.
However, he said everything is speculation and guess work. The actual discussion points will be known only when either of them share it outside.
Well, there is no scope for Amit Shah to reveal the subject or share his feelings with anyone after his meeting with the Tollywood actor. However, Junior NTR is expected to share at least some points with his close friends or the Nandamuri family members may be later, if not now.
We have to wait for the right time for Junior NTR to break his silence on the meeting with the Union Home Minister, the number two in command in the country these days!
Did Shah meet Jr NTR to woo Kamma voters in Telangana?
The brief meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah with Tollywood hero Junior NTR in Hyderabad on Sunday evening continues to create ripples in the political circles of the two Telugu states. Though it was said that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu would meet Shah at Ramoji Film City in the presence of media baron Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, it did not happen and remained a mere rumour.
However, Shah met Junior NTR for over 40 minutes and shared his dinner with the young actor. BJP senior leader and Union Minister G Kishen Reddy said that there was no political significance to the meeting and it was purely related to the actor and his career. The BJP sources said that Shah wanted to appreciate Junior NTR and the meeting was restricted only for appreciation.
But, there is a lot doing rounds in the two Telugu states. Actor Junior NTR is an influential young leader in the two Telugu states. His influence has two aspects – a proven hero and a representative of the dominant Kamma caste from the late NTR family.
As a proven actor, Junior NTR is able to pull the crowd and can influence people, which would be of great help to the BJP in the Munugodu Assembly by-election. Nalgonda district is dominated by the Kamma settlers from Krishna and Guntur district, who own up and hold NTR close to their heart. This would help BJP to reap some votes in the by-election.
Junior NTR’s aunt, Purandheswari is already there with the BJP and Shah meeting NTR would send some clear and positive signals to the TDP leaders in the two Telugu states that BJP is their alternative. This would help the BJP get the advantage in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In fact, the discussion is on this line in the two Telugu states and a good number of TDP and the Kamma leaders are looking towards the BJP now as an alternative, if not immediately.
Afterall, Amit Shah is a politician and whatever he does is for his party’s political advantage, even if it is eating in a Dalit leader’s house or attending a charity show. His meeting with Junior NTR is also to be seen from the political angle and not outside politics.

The country’s Home Minister Amit Shah who is in Telangana for his political tour will meet Tollywood’s top actor NTR today. Fan’s death casts a pall of gloom over ‘Bimbisara’ pre-release event
In Hyderabad’s Shilpakala Vedika, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and the ‘Bimbisara’ team hosted a pre-release ceremony on Friday, which had Jr. NTR as the chief guest. In a tragic turn of events during the pre-release event, Sai Ram, a devoted admirer, passed away.
The makers of ‘Bimbisara’ took to their social media to express condolences to Sai Ram’s family. A press note was released, which reads: “An unfortunate incident which has deeply saddened us has come to our notice. In what is a heartbreaking incident, Putta Sai Ram, S/O Mr. Rambabu, who attended the event last night is no more.
“Sai Ram had been an ardent fan from the Pentapadu Mandal of West Godavari District. We express our deepest condolences to the family of Sai Ram and would support the family by any means possible,” the ‘Bimbisara’ team wrote in a press note released on Saturday.
Sai Ram, who exuded excitement as he arrived at the ‘Bimbisara’ pre-release event, was a die-hard supporter of Jr. NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. On Friday, he began to have fits during the pre-release event. He was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident is being looked into by the Banjara Hills police.
NTR yet to start his Mission

Six Tollywood biggies aiming Summer 2023 Release
Sankranthi and summer are the best seasons for films and several biggies aim for release during these holiday seasons. 2023 has a packed summer already. Prabhas and Prashanth Neel film Salaar is expected to hit the screens in the season. The release date is yet to be locked. Ram Charan and Shankar film will release on March 28th which is the release date of Charan’s super hit film Rangasthalam. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar is gearing up for Ugadi or summer release next year.
Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s project is aimed for summer 2023 release and is announced. The makers of NTR and Koratala Siva’s film are targeting summer release if the shoot commences in September. Nandamuri Balakrishna will work with Anil Ravipudi soon and the release plans are in summer 2023. The release plans of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule are yet to be decoded.
