The much anticipated South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2023 took place with great enthusiasm and fanfare on the 15th and 16th of September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

This star-studded event brought together the finest talents from the Telugu and Kannada film industries, showcasing the incredible achievements in cinema over the past year.

NTR was honored with the prestigious Best Actor in Leading Role Telugu award at the illustrious SIIMA 2023 Awards as a tribute to Telugu cinema’s excellence.

Ultimately, this debate demonstrates the complex nature of scenarios that a public figure like NTR handles on a day-to-day basis. The public expectations for figures like Jr NTR, especially during sensitive political junctures like this look crazy. NTR wraps up a major schedule of Devara

NTR’s Devara team has successfully wrapped another schedule of the film in Hyderabad. Devara is one of the most anticipated films of Jr NTR in Koratala Siva’s direction. The film is said to be an action drama with jaw-dropping action sequences designed by Kenny Bates and Brad Minnich is looking after the VFX work.

The lead actors of the film were involved in this schedule, which went on for two weeks. A key water sequence has been wrapped up in a special set constructed in Shamshabad. With this, the film has wrapped up four key schedules and the next schedule is expected to start by next month. NTR flew to Dubai today after he completed the current schedule of Devara.

Leading Tollywood star Jr NTR left for a vacation with his family to an undisclosed location.

He, along with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi and two sons, Abhay and Bhargav, were spotted at the Hyderabad Airport on Monday.

The pictures of Jr NTR and his family alighting from a car and entering the passenger terminal building went viral on social media. The actor can be seen holding little Bhargav’s hands while Abhay was walking next to him.

Jr NTR, who turned 40 on May 20, is known in film circles as a family man and he spends quality time with loved ones. This time he has left for vacation amidst production of the upcoming movie ‘Devara’, directed by Koratala Siva.

On Sunday (May 28), Jr NTR was seen paying tributes to his grandfather, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao (NTR) at his Samadhi in Hyderabad on the occasion of his birth centenary.

The first look poster of ‘Devara’, released on Jr NTR’s birthday, has created excitement among his fans as this will be his first movie after the blockbuster ‘RRR’, in which he shared the screen with Ram Charan.

The actor is basking in the glory of ‘RRR’, which bagged Oscar and Golden Globe awards this year for song ‘Naatu Naatu’ and also won many global accolades.

In ‘Devara’, late Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor will play the film lead. She will be making her Tollywood debut with this. Saif Ali Khan is said to be playing the villain. The film unit has reportedly completed the first schedule of the shooting.

NTR Statue Gets Jolt From High Court

On the occasion of NTR’s birth centenary celebrations, NRIs living in North America (TANA) have wished to install a statue of NTR in Lakkaram Lake, Khammam on May 28th. Jr NTR was invited to unveil the statue resembling Lord Krishna. Telangana High Court has suspended the permission granted by the Telangana government for the statue, i.e., from the principal secretary of the irrigation department in order to install the statue in the middle of the river.

Yadava organizations have pleaded with the court to stop the statue’s inauguration as the statue is resembling Lord Krishna and is hurting their religious sentiments. Krishna Chaitanya Tripurani, E Prabhakar Yadava and Bharatha Yadava Samithi have opposed this. After this, Statue committee has done modifications to the statue like removing the flute and crown. They requested the court to give permission as they have made changes to statue and a decision is awaited.

Junior NTR gets invite for NTR’s birth centenary event

Tollywood actor and hero Junior NTR was invited to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of late N T Rama Rao, the TDP founder and former chief minister. The TDP plans to hold the event on May 20 at Kukatpally in Hyderabad.

Former MLC and senior TDP leader T D Janardhan handed over the invitation to Junior NTR in Hyderabad on Monday. NTR’s son Nandamuri Ramakrishna was also present along with Janardhan when the invitation was extended to the actor.

The souvenir committee had already invited NTR family members, including Daggubati Purandheswari, Nandamuri Jayakrishna, Nandamuri Mohanakrishna, Garapati Lokeswari, Kantamaneni Uma, Nandamuri Kalyana Chakravarthi, Katragadda Hanumantha Rao and others.

The TDP had decided to hold similar events across the two Telugu states marking the birth centenary of NTR. They have already organised a programme in Vijayawada on April 28. Tamil Superstar, Rajnikanth, was the chief guest for the event.

The party is also planning to have celebrations in Hyderabad and Vijayawada on May 28, the birthday of the late leader. The party is holding Mahanadu at Rajamahendravaram for two days on May 27 and 28, where the rank and file of the party would be present. The two-day Mahanadu would mark a greater celebration of the legend’s 100th birthday.

After the global success of RRR, NTR seems to be on a roll. After landing the lead role in Yash Raj Films’ Spyverse film ‘War 2’, the actor is now on the radar of one of the world’s top international filmmakers.

Director James Gunn recently revealed in an interview that he enjoyed watching NTR in RRR. The director also stated that he would ‘love to work with Jr NTR someday’. In an exclusive interview with News18, James Gunn was asked which Indian actor he would like to cast in his ‘Galaxy’ films.

To this, the director said, “Who is the guy from RRR that’s so good. What’s his name? RRR, the big one from last year? With all the tigers coming out of the cage and everything? That guy!” “I would love to work with that guy someday. So amazing, so cool.”

He added that he does not yet have any particular role for him in his head. “I don’t know, I would have to figure that one out. That would take a little while.” The director has films including the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise in his kitty, He is also the head of the craziest universe of DC studios.
