After working for a Rajamouli’s film, most of the lead actors suffered setbacks with their next projects. NTR and Ram Charan are all set to make their pan Indian debut with RRR that is directed by Rajamouli. The film will sure maximize their image and their upcoming movies would have a wide reach. NTR locked Trivikram Srinivas for his next while Charan is in talks with a bunch of directors. NTR wanted to play a safe game and will work for a family entertainer that comes with Trivikram’s mark.

He is also holding talks with Koratala Siva for his next film once he is done with Trivikram’s project. When most of the Tollywood actors are keen to work for pan Indian films, Tarak has different plans. He is quite interested to work with some of the best Tollywood directors and impress the Tollywood audience instead of heading to work with Bollywood filmmakers. Trivikram is said to have penned an out and out family entertainer that has loads of entertainment and enough dose of action. Koratala Siva is all set with one more social drama for Tarak.

NTR and Trivikram film to roll from March

It is clear that Trivikram will wait for the arrival of NTR instead of directing one more film. Though he met Mahesh and Ram separately and narrated scripts, Trivikram decided to go ahead with NTR’s project. The film will have its official launch in February and the regular shoot commences from March. NTR promised to join the sets from March at any cost though he will have pending portions to be shot for RRR.

Trivikram will plan the schedules accordingly and will shoot for the film. The female lead and other actors, technicians are picked up currently. Haarika and Hassine Creations, NTR Arts are the producers of this untitled film. Trivikram in this while will also complete the dialogue version for Ayyappanum Koshiyum that features Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.

Top director Trivikram is in huge demand after the super success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He immediately locked NTR for his next and an official announcement was made. But things got delayed after the arrival of coronavirus. Trivikram completed the scriptwork of NTR’s project but the top actor is occupied with the shoot of RRR. With the film delayed by months, Trivikram narrated a script to Mahesh Babu and got his nod. Trivikram recently met NTR and informed about the same.

In a sudden shock, NTR rejected the proposal of Trivikram and asked him to wait for this year instead of working with Mahesh Babu. NTR is expected to complete a couple of schedules for Trivikram’s film from February 2021 as per the update. In this while, Trivikram is working on the dialogue version of Ayyappanum Koshiyum featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. He will also supervise the project and will attend the shoot along with Pawan Kalyan in January. Trivikram and Mahesh Babu’s film will happen at a later date once the duo is done with their current commitments.

With the arrival of coronavirus pandemic, the shoots of all the films came to a halt. The most impacted film due the pandemic is RRR as the interests are heaping up. With a lot of stake involved, Rajamouli wanted to complete the project at the earliest but he came to the conclusion that it would not be possible to resume the shoot anytime soon. NTR will complete the shoot of RRR and will move on to his next only in 2022. After RRR, NTR will take Trivikram Srinivas’s project which may take at least ten months for completion.

KGF sensation Prashanth Neel is in talks with NTR for a film soon after he is done with his work for KGF: Chapter 2. As per the update, the makers of KGF: Chapter 2 are considering a Sankranthi 2021 release for the movie. After completing his work, Prashanth Neel will have to wait for a year and a half to direct NTR. Prashanth Neel will work on the script of the film and will wait for the arrival of NTR instead of hurrying up for one more project. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of NTR’s film which would be a pan Indian flick.

After the lockdown got some relaxations, Trivikram met NTR at his residence recently. Trivikram is said to have narrated the entire first half of the script along with the dialogue version. Heroine Meera chopra complained to police on Jr NTR fan clubs through her twitter account after they trolled her on social media with rape threats and bullying. Details as below.

I am not Jr NTR fan, says Meera chopra:

It all started with “Ask Meera” session she had with Twitterati. The heroine who acted in Telugu movie ‘Bangaram’ with Pawan Kalyan was asked to share her opinion on her hero. She replied, ” Super star and super human being”. When some other netizen asked her opinion on Jr NTR, she replied “I don’t know him and I am not his fan”. In another message she likes Mahesh Babu more than NTR. This all irked the fans of Jr NTR.

Meera chopra’s complaint to police through Twitter:

Meera Chopra also urged Hyderabad Police and Twitter to taken action against the abusers. She posted on Twitter,

“@hydcitypolice @CyberCrimeshyd i would like to report all these accounts. They are talking abt gang banging, are abusive and death threatning. Unfortunately they are all @tarak9999 fanclubs. @Twitter i would request you to look into it and suspend these accounts.”

Tarak and Charan step out to support SS Rajamouli

The shoots of Telugu films came to a halt with the coronavirus outbreak. With this unexpected break, the release dates of big-budget films got pushed. RRR which was initially aimed for January 8th 2021 release is pushed for summer release. After the meeting conducted by Chiranjeevi in the presence of Talasani Srinivas Yadav, it is decided that the post-production works of the film can be started from tomorrow. Rajamouli was the one who initiated the discussion to resume the shoots from the first week of June.

There are positive signs that the Telangana government may grant permissions for film shoots from the first week of June. Rajamouli is in plans to utilize the opportunity if the permissions are given. NTR and Ram Charan already responded on a positive note and decided to join the sets once the schedules are planned. Rajamouli feels that the extra buffer time got wasted due to the delay and he is confident about completing the shoot on time.

Rajamouli is also in plans to complete the shoot of RRR at the earliest. He is also in plans to make minor changes to the script if needed and shoot the major portions of the film in Hyderabad. Rajamouli’s next target is January 8th 2021 as of now. A clarity on this will come soon.

No Coronavirus impact on Telugu film budgets

The business of Telugu cinema got expanded after our filmmakers produced several universal films. Rajamouli’s Baahubali broke all the barriers and the stamina of Telugu cinema reached new heights. The final collections of Telugu films struggled to touch Rs 100 crore mark in the past but it is quite easier for many to cross Rs 150 crore mark. The non-theatrical rights of Telugu films too are getting huge deals after which several filmmakers are investing huge on the projects. With the coronavirus scare, the whole film industry is shattered and shut.

Veteran producers like Suresh Babu hinted that the industry would undergo a huge transformation after the coronavirus season comes to an end as the filmmakers will revise the budgets of their films. Suresh Babu warned that the filmmakers should work with discipline in the coming months to prevent wastage. But as per the latest update, the makers of several big-budget films of Telugu cinema are strict on their budgets. RRR is reaching final stages of shoot and the makers gave a free hand for Rajamouli to wrap up the remaining portions of shoot. Massive sets would be erected which was not a part of the plan earlier. The budget would be increased for the film with these additions but the makers are not worried.

Prabhas and Nag Ashwin project is planned on a budget of Rs 250 crores and the makers made no changes to the budget of the film. NTR and Prashanth Neel project is speculated to be planned on a budget of Rs 200 crores and there is no discussion about the budget cuts. All the upcoming films of Prabhas will be made on a massive budget because of the pan Indian image the actor attained. Several filmmakers are holding talks with Prabhas despite the coronavirus season. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is quoted to be made on Rs 100 crores and the makers did not slash the budget for the film even after the coronavirus scare.

On the whole, there is no impact of coronavirus on Telugu films that feature top actors.
