SS Rajamouli is the top director of Indian cinema and he even has a perfect business strategist inside him. He is completely responsible for the business of his films and he personally takes care of the promotional activities of his projects. The theatrical deals of RRR for the Telugu states are closed well in advance and the makers received hefty advances from the buyers.

Though Rajamouli is knocked by a couple of offers from Bollywood, the top director is yet to close the Hindi deal. With Baahubali: The Conclusion raking massive money across the North Indian circuits, RRR would take a terrific start all over and Rajamouli is keen to recover a major part of the investment through these rights. He wants to utilize the success of Baahubali: The Conclusion to the fullest and quote a huge price for the Hindi rights of RRR. He wants to close the deal only after the shoot concludes. Rajamouli is even waiting for the theatres across the North Indian circuit to reopen completely and watch some of the biggies perform well.

As the release date is locked for RRR, there would be no biggie releasing during the season except Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan that was announced earlier. Anil Thadani, Yash Raj Films and others are already in touch with Rajamouli for the Hindi rights of RRR. The entire shooting portions of the film is expected to be completed by March and the film is announced for Dasara 2021 release. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran are the lead actors in this big-budget periodic epic.

SS Rajamouli’s next magnum opus presents NTR and Ram Charan as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju. The duo never met in their life but both of them have been a part of the freedom fight. Rajamouli already announced that the film is fictional and is not inspired by real-life stories of the freedom fighters. As per the update, the deadly Jallianwala Bagh massacre that was a sensation before independence will be presented in RRR. The massacre killed over 1000 Indians and took place in 1919 in Amritsar.

It was this incident that created a huge outrage among the Indians and the country stood united to fight against the British for Independence. Rajamouli will present this episode and NTR, Ram Charan will shoot for the sequence soon. Taking the cinematic liberty, Rajamouli is in plans to shoot the Jallianwala Bagh episode in his style. A massive budget is allocated for the episode. The shoot of RRR is currently happening in Hyderabad. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the leading ladies in this high voltage periodic drama.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is 70% complete and the entire movie unit is eagerly waiting to resume the shoot. NTR and Ram Charan are working hard to maintain the fitness they gained for their roles. The film’s cinematographer Senthil Kumar during his recent interview said that they are in plans to use ‘Virtual Technology’ for the movie. He said that the entire team spent ample time to gain enough knowledge on Virtual Technology during this coronavirus break.

Instead of using a green mat or green screen, the makers would be using LED panels to shoot through virtual technology. This is used in Hollywood big-budget films like Star Wars. SS Rajamouli will take the final call about using the technology before the shoot resumes. Senthil Kumar said that they have been shooting with a unit of 500-600 members on a regular basis for RRR and they will resume the shoot of the film only after normalcy returns.

NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are the lead actors in RRR that is made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 crores.

SS Rajamouli will have to wait for a longer time to resume the shoot of RRR. NTR and Ram Charan are on a break and they will join the sets of the film soon after normalcy returns. A lavish schedule was planned in Pune but it was called off after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic. Two special sets are carved out currently as it is not possible to shoot the film in Pune. Rajamouli and his team are hunting for some other locations for the movie.

Rajamouli and his team is scouting for locations in Nalgonda district currently and they have decided to shoot some crucial episodes in a fort in the region. With this, the Pune schedule locations will be finalized. Rajamouli is busy interacting with his team and is focused on the post-production work. His team is also in talks with Alia Bhatt about her upcoming schedules. It is unclear as of now. The shoot of RRR may resume in September or October and not before that. As per the current situations, RRR may have its release during the second half of 2021.

SS Rajamuouli was quite eager to start the shoot of RRR after the permissions are granted by the government of Telangana. He wanted to conduct a trial shoot so that he could get a complete clarity on how to handle the situations in this coronavirus season. But even before the trial shoot was conducted, Rajamouli dropped his plans. He got a clarity that it is completely impossible to conduct the shoot following the government issued guidelines.

The trial shoot is called off and Rajamouli will take a call soon after the situations turn better and the number of coronavirus cases comes down. The whole Tollywood has been eagerly waiting for the trial shoot of RRR so that they could decide on conducting the shoots. This turned out to be a shock for several filmmakers after Rajamouli canceled the trial shoot. A top producer said that it would be highly impossible to start shoots before Dasara.

Speculations surface across the media about the remuneration of each and every top Tollywood actor and director. But when it comes to Rajamouli, the top director stands tightlipped and there are no traces of the figures that are revealed for any of his films. It is because Rajamouli loves to share the profits and he is not much bothered about taking home a hefty paycheque. Rajamouli is well aware that the coronavirus pandemic will sure turn a dent for the profits of RRR considering the current situations.

But he is super confident that the audience will rush to theatres and will watch his film on a large screen. Rajamouli and his team predict that the pre-release numbers may not be satisfactory and high like they expected in the past but the film would close on the expected note. Rajamouli met the teams of all the departments and wanted them to work with previous energy for the film. He even had a long meeting with the producer DVV Danayya recently and discussed the same with him.

Rajamouli is slowly returning back to work and a trial shoot will be conducted soon. The regular shoot will commence soon as per the feedback they collect from the trial shoot. RRR is expected to release during summer 2021.

When the news came out that Rajamouli is all set to conduct a trial shoot for RRR next week, everyone is eagerly waiting to see if NTR or Ram Charan will join the sets of the film. The trial shoot will happen for two days and will take place in the Aluminium factory, Hyderabad. As per the new update, the shoot will be like a mock test and will not have any renowned actors. It will be a dummy shoot.

Rajamouli will test whether he can shoot for the film with a limited number of crew members. All the government issued guidelines would be followed for this trial shoot. Rajamouli will shoot in different ways in these two days after which he would take a call on the original shoot. He will then share the feedback with the Tollywood celebrities after which they would take a call on the film shoots. Rajamouli is keen to release RRR for summer 2020.
