“104 control room” embarrassment for Vijayasai !

The Andhra Pradesh government has recently launched “104 control rooms” in all district headquarters to help Covid patients.

These control rooms were set up in district collector offices or sub collector offices in districts.

CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy claimed that these 104 control rooms will serve as “one-stop solution” for all Covid-related queries and assistance.

He said that Covid victims can get all their grievances resolved within four hours if they dial 104 control room.

YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy on Friday (today) inspected 104 control room set up in Vizag collectorate.

The call centre did not receive a single call even after Vijayasai Reddy waited for long.

This irked Vijayasai, who himself dailed 104 from his mobile. However, the call did not connect even after repeated attempts.

An angry Vijayasai expressed anger at staff working in control room. They told him that the calls failed due to a technical glitch and there are issues with the server.

An embarrassed Vijayasai left the control room abruptly.

YCP firebrand MP Vijay Sai Reddy has come out with a new defence of the serial arrests of the TDP leaders in the ACB and the CID cases. He says that the Opposition party leaders are getting involved in all these cases just because of their corruption and irregularities during their party regime. There is a reason why these leaders resorted to such corruption at that time. Vijay Sai says that the TDP leaders just tried to make as much easy money as possible while their party was in power.

The YCP MP, in the latest attack, says that the TDP leaders had clearly got all the inside information that their party would be closed down after the 2019 elections. So, in their hurry to make quick money, they made all the mistakes that were enough to land them now in the cases and in the jails.

Vijay Sai asked why Kollu Ravindra, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and even Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar have taken TDP AP President Atchannaidu as their model. They would have followed a different path. Now, just like Atchannaidu, all those leaders were getting slapped with the ACB and the CID cases.

Right now, the States is in the midst of a severe threat from second wave infections. However, the TDP leader’s arrest has deflected all the public and media attention in just a few hours. Politics has gained upper hand in AP even during the dangerous time of Coronavirus.

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh are making greater efforts to retain their party hold on Visakhapatnam in the municipal elections. Whereas, Jaganmohan Reddy and his party leaders are very serious about capturing the port city to establish their firm hold there. Vijay Sai withdraws his slip of tongue against Venkaiah

In his usual hasty style, YCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy yesterday targeted M. Venkaiah Naidu. He said that though Venkaiah’s body was with the BJP, his heart was with the TDP. Immediately, a lot of criticism started coming up against the comment made by Vijay Sai.

Firstly, the YCP MP made the mistake by saying that Venkaiah was still with the BJP. Being the Vice President of the country and by virtue of that position, Venkaiah cannot be seen as belonging to a particular political party. This has put Vijay Sai in a bad light with the MPs and the national leaders of different parties strongly opposing his remarks. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has also condemned the YCP MP’s comments.

Following the rising criticism, Vijay Sai Reddy today announced that he was withdrawing his remarks against the Vice President of India. He said that he spoke those words out of anger and that he was deeply regretting the same now.

The YCP further clarified to one and all that his intention was not to hurt or defame Mr. Venkaiah Naidu. He asserted that he had a lot of respect for the Vice President. Vijay Sai also gave an assurance that he would not make such comments again in future.

The Ramatheertham temple incident in Vizianagaram district became a hot subject of political controversy. The YCP has started using the untoward incidents at temples too to corner and embarrass the TDP. Already, Vijay Sai Reddy blamed Chandrababu and Lokesh for the desecration of Rama idol at Ramatheertham.

Now, Vijay Sai has given yet another big shock to Chandrababu. He has come out with a surprise last minute plan to visit Ramatheertham a few hours ahead of the TDP chief. Also, in the name of the idol disfiguring case, the police have arrested many local leaders of the TDP.

Vijay Sai Reddy’s aggressive stance on the temple incidents has put the TDP on the defensive. Tensions have risen following his visit to the temple on the same day Naidu has planned his visit. Even in Tadipatri, the police filed cases against JC Prabhakar Reddy whose house was attacked by the local YCP MLA.

Now, the TDP leaders were suspecting that the YCP has begun a new plan to book the TDP activists in the cases relating to vandalism of Hindu temples and idols. The arrested TDP Vizianagaram leaders were deploring that the police were forcing them to admit that they had desecrated Ramatheertham idol.

Vijayasai confirms that Kanna’s letter to the Governor is proof enough to say that he is a covert for Chandrababu Naidu. How can Kanna send his letter without taking permission from the BJP national leadership? The YCP MP says that the undue haste shown by Kanna has exposed his secret understanding with the TDP chief.
Right from the beginning, Kanna Laksminarayna has vocally objected to the Capital shifting from Amaravati. Several leaders of the BJP National leadership have also supported his stand. YSRCP’s complicated MP Vijayasai Reddy is very angry. Especially, after Chandrababu Naidu’s latest attack on J-tax collections, liquor commissions, sand mafia and all. It is well known that YSRCP Number 2 leader makes surprise attacks whenever TDP leaders corner the ruling party. But usually, Vijayasai is known for his sarcastic and bitter personal attacks. This time, the MP has preferred to divert people’s attention in the name of NTR. Maybe it is a plan to create the impression that Jagan Reddy’s commitment is similar to NTR with regard to total prohibition. Whatever, the YSRCP leadership seems to be a little cautious considering all-round criticism of its latest liquor policies in the face of multiple problems being faced by poor and lower middle class families in view of Coronavirus lockdown.

PM Modi’s return call to Chandrababu Naidu created a sensation in political circles in both ruling and opposition parties. The YSRCP is especially alarmed at the latest development. Till now, they were confident that Naidu can never win back Modi trust after their bitter rivalries during 2019 elections. TDP leaders say that Corona time is not time for digging up past things while young, inexperienced Jagan is failing to see this big picture.

YSRCP controversial MP Vijayasai Reddy surprised the readers with a very unlikely sarcastic tweet. He said one should learn from the simplistic administrative capabilities of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. CM is ruling the state taking expert advice of all advisors and gives utmost liberty to the officials to implement the well-informed decisions. Jagan just wants officials to get work done. He does not crave for media publicity. CM only wants to see that people should be fine. That’s all Jagan wants. Why all this sudden eye-opening insights into CM character? YSR Congress party general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy on Thursday morning slammed TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s move to field the party’s general secretary Varla Ramaiah from the SC community for the Rajya Sabha seat saying it was only to insult the Dalit community as Naidu knows the party will lose the election.

“Naidu is a sneaky and cunning man. He knows his candidate will lose the RS seat. This is only to humiliate the candidate,” Vijay Sai Reddy said at the 10th foundation day of YSR Congress Party in Viskhapatnam party office.

While extolling party founder Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his policies, he said the chief minister was carrying forward the vision and policies of his father and former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy who strove for the empowerment of marginalised sections of the society.

The state government has launched several schemes like Amma Vodi for empowerment of women and Rythu Bharosa for the distressed farmers, but Naidu and his henchmen are hell-bent on creating law and order problem in the state, Vijay Sai Reddy said.

On the Macherla attack on former MLA Bonda Uma and MLC Buddha Venkanna, Vijay Sai Reddy said TDP leaders visited Macherla to create law and order problem in Palanadu ahead of the local body elections.

Vijay Sai Reddy, YSRCP’s key strategist for the forthcoming GVMC elections being held in 98 wards, said the party’s mayor candidate will be announced by YSRCP president and chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy after the polls.

Vizag is Principal Capital of AP: Vijayasai confirms

A day before AP Cabinet meet, YCP Number 2 leader Vijayasai Reddy announced that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has given the Executive Capital as a gift to Visakhapatnam port city. This has confirmed that Jagan is going to shift Capital despite all-round opposition from even the BJP and the Hindu religious organisations. Interestingly, Vijayasai Reddy is camping in Vizag making arrangements for giving a rousing reception to Jagan Reddy. After announcing Capital shifting, Jagan will go straight to Vizag on December 28. Jagan visit is going to be celebrated as a historic event like that of kings who were given heroes’ welcome on returning home after victories in battles.

What more, Jaganmohan Reddy government just gave another gift by sanctioning Rs 395 Cr to Vizag development. The Visakha Utsav has been converted into a celebration of Jagan Reddy first visit to Vizag after capital announcement. Vijayasai is closely directing the district and tourism officials to make it look like a thanksgiving celebration of Vizag people.

Obviously, YCP Number 1 and Number 2 leaders are going to focus totally on Visakhapatnam from the next day the city is announced as the Administrative Capital. The Ministers, senior bureaucrats and YCP top leaders are all focused on Vizag. Undoubtedly, Vizag has already emerged as the Principal Capital of AP.

I am also a Kapu community person. It is there in my certificates. My death certificate will also carry Kapu caste name. This is how CM Jagan’s most trusted MP Vijayasai Reddy went on desperately speaking at a Kapu ‘Vanamahotsavam’ garden party. The event was held at Kambalakonda near Visakhapatnam. Why has Vijayasai, being a Reddy, attended an event of other caste? Leaders of all parties especially Jana Sena would take part there. This was what became a debatable point. Pawan Kalyan fans and TDP sympathisers took objection to top Reddy leaders of YCP coming there. They went on sloganeering ‘Jai Kapu, Jai Kapu’. Minister Avanti Srinivas tried to pacify the angry crowd but it was no use.

Despite the anti-YCP mood, Vijayasai Reddy remained there and addressed the gathering along with others. He tried hard to tell the Kapu gathering that he is one of them. Indeed, it is true that Reddys’ certificates mostly carry Kapu caste name. But in common public opinion, Reddys are treated as a separate caste. Whatever, non-YCP Kapu speakers took their sweet revenge by raising injustices being done to their caste under Jagan Circar. When they asked why YCP opposed Kapu reservations, the Minister interfered and requested not to politicise a community gettogether. Whatever, Vijayasai’s caste calculations backfired very badly.

Why is Vijayasai targetting Sujana but not Kanna?

In his latest tweet, YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy attacked Chandrababu, Sujana, CM Ramesh, Kesineni, Lokesh, Kodela, etc. He said that these leaders are crying over Capital shifting because they have bought thousands of acres there under benami names. Vijayasai targetted only Sujana and CM Ramesh but he cleverly avoided others like BJP State President Kanna Laxminarayana who are also objecting to YCP’s Amaravati policy. These days, Kanna Lakshminarayana is making the maximum possible criticism against the YCP government on Amaravati, Polavaram, law and order, sand, liquor and what not.

Not a single Minister, MLA or any leader from YCP is daring to hit back at Kanna. These days, Kanna has further intensified his attacks. He has asked CM Jaganmohan Reddy not to forget the sacrifices made by the Amaravati farmers for giving their land for the cause of building Andhra Capital. Amaravati farmers are also not getting their compensation payments to be paid by the government towards giving their land.

YCP knows that Kanna is emotionally attached to Amaravati because part of it is located in the Pedakurapadu assembly segment which Kanna represented in the past. As he is the President of BJP state unit, he will certainly fight for the cause of building Amaravati and even convince Modi-Shah. Seeing this, YCP leaders are very cautious not to embarrass or confront Kanna at this juncture. Vijayasai chose Sujana and Ramesh as soft targets because of their previous links with Chandrababu Naidu.

Vijayasai re-appointed AP Special Representative

The AP government issued orders once again appointing MP Vijayasai Reddy as its Special Representative in Delhi. This time, it specified that no salary or other benefits would be given. So, it would not come under the category of Office of Profit. Previously, Vijayasai faced the threat of disqualification as he was given Cabinet status along with Special Representative. Being a Rajya Sabha MP, he cannot hold dual Offices of Profit.

At that time, the TDP leaders thought of complaining to the Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu. Now, the YCP government found another route to continue Vijayasai in the dual posts with some technical changes. It has also come out with an ordinance.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Devineni Uma criticized YSR congress for colluding with BJP and not questioning Modi and the Center for Special Category Status for AP. While criticizing YSR CP, Devineni Uma made allegations on Vijay Sai Reddy and other YSR CP leaders, as he questioned why Vijaya Sai Reddy and his associates missing for the last one week or so. Uma alleged that all these leaders are very busy in Karnataka election working for Gali Janardhan Reddy candidates and other BJP candidates to make sure they win.

Devineni Uma comments are well received by people as Gali Janardhan Reddy and Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy families are very close and their relationship is beyond political parties. Moreover, with the new friendship formed between YSR CP and BJP, Vijay Sai Reddy and his associates helping BJP and Gali Janardhan Reddy family is not at all a surprising development.

Vijay Sai Reddy seeks discharge from Jagan’s DA case

Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and General secretary of the YSR Congress Party V Vijay Sai Reddy filed a discharge petition related to the disproportionate assets case. In his petition he requested, his name to be removed from investments related to Ramky, Vanpic and Jagathi.

CBI , on the other hand, filed a counterfeit petition in relation to the fraudulent investment in Jagati publications. CBI asked the court to dismiss Vijay Sai’s petition.

Vijay Sai is the financial mastermind behind Jagan who allegedly knows all the secret details of transactions involving the YSRCP supremo and his companies. He reportedly knows the intricate details of quid pro quo arrangement.

Furious over Jagan’s absence, CBI Court gives a serious warning

The CBI court took a serious note on the absence Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy. Due to meeting in Guntur, Jagan’s counsel filed a petition in the court that he will not be able to make it to the court. It is known fact that Jagan is being probed for the Disproportionate asset case as he is the A1 accused.

The court expressing dissatisfaction said that it is inappropriate to site political reasons for nonappearance in the court proceedings. The court apparently gave a serious warning that any such absence in future would call for issuing a warrant against him. Subsequently, the next hearing was postponed to July 21.

It may be noted that the third national plenary of the YSR Congress Party on July 8 and 9 will be held in the ground opposite the Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur.
