Exposing Hypocrisy: Vijaya Sai Reddy’s Fabricated Interview

In a recent interview with a top TV channel, Vijaya Sai Reddy was faced with a question that why he never criticized Pawan Kalyan vehemently. He was also “presented” some facts(?) by that top channel that even Pawan Kalyan goes soft on Vijaya Sai Reddy. The comments made by Vijaya Sai Reddy while answering these questions became hot topic now. However, political observers opine that this is a fabricated interview with ulterior motives. Details as below.

Vijaya Sai Reddy response on these questions:

Vijaya Sai Reddy claimed that he and Pawan Kalyan are childhood friends and both of them have mutual respect for each other. This revelation came as a response to questions regarding his lack of severe criticism against Pawan Kalyan. Vijaya Sai stated that while he has criticized Pawan politically, he has refrained from personal attacks. He also showed couple of examples where he criticized Pawan Kalyan but added that he never went overboard on Pawan.

Audience Reaction:

However, this interview has left audiences stunned due to its apparent falsehoods, exposing the hypocrisy of Vijaya Sai Reddy and also the TV channel. Contrary to his claims, both Vijaya Sai Reddy and Pawan Kalyan have engaged in vehement criticism of each other in the past and the proofs for the same are present all over the internet.

Vijaya Sai’s Criticism of Pawan:

Vijaya Sai Reddy has previously made derogatory remarks about Pawan Kalyan’s mental state. He even ridiculed his fan base, and belittled his political alliances. He intentionally used the word “zero” referring to the number of MLA seats Pawan’s Janasena has in AP assembly and poked Pawan with such comments. He has even used demeaning language targeting Pawan’s community, displaying a clear animosity towards the actor-turned-politician.

Pawan’s “Suit Case Reddy” Remarks:

In retaliation, Pawan Kalyan has not held back in his criticism of Vijaya Sai Reddy, often referring to him as “Suitcase” Reddy, alluding to allegations of money laundering and political corruption. Pawan’s attack referring to the activities that Vijaya Sai Reddy takes care in Delhi were very insulting to the chartered accountant turned politician. Yet, the news channel went on to say that Pawan doesn’t criticize Vijaya Sai much.

Fabricated Interview Motive:

The timing of this fabricated interview raises questions, especially as Vijaya Sai Reddy gears up for his first direct election as a Lok Sabha candidate. As everyone knows he has been enjoying nominated post of Rajya Sabha MP till recent past. It appears that he may be attempting to soften his image among undecided voters, particularly those with a soft spot for Pawan Kalyan. The involvement of a top TV channel known for shaping and tweaking public opinion further fuels suspicions of a concerted effort to sway public perception in Vijaya Sai’s favor.

The fabricated interview not only exposes the hypocrisy of Vijaya Sai Reddy but also underscores the motive of the top channel that always supports the ruling political parties in Telugu states.

Vijayasai stooping so low to rebuke Purandheswari, says Ayyannapatrudu

0

Observing that the corrupt practices and the crimes of YSRCP MP, Vijayasai Reddy, have come onto the fore and have become debatable issues, TDP politburo member, Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, said here on Saturday that Vijayasai Reddy has stooped so low that he is not in a position to answer the issues raised now.

Vijayasai Reddy has the habit of attributing caste and nasty politics to those who question him, Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu said in a press note released here that the YSRCP MP does not mind even mortgaging the interests of the State for his personal benefits and for waiver of cases pending against him. “It is the culture of the YSRCP leaders to adopt highly unethical practices,” the TDP politburo member said and advised Viayasai to get ready to carry the ‘To-Let’ board in front of the YSRCP party office which is to face closure very soon.

The YSRCP leaders are simply spewing venom at BJP State unit president, Daggubati Purandheswari, as she is thoroughly exposing the corrupt practices of their senior and top leaders with all the necessary evidence, Ayyannapatrudu noted. Is it a crime to question the atrocious rule of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, which has been looting the State and the natural resources, he asked.

Maintaining that the policy of the YSRCP Government is foist false cases against those who raise their voice, Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu said that the Government is cheating the downtrodden sections of society while one particular community is being encouraged by giving them all the posts.

CBI court gives permission to Jagan, Vijayasai for foreign tour

0

The CBI court in Hyderabad had granted permission to chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSR Congress Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy to visit abroad. The court had granted permission to Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit the UK.

Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit London on September 2 to see his daughter. He sought permission from the court to go to London. He is currently on bail in CBI and ED cases, which have arrested him some time back.

The CBI, however, argued against granting permission to Jagan to go to London. The court said that the cases are at various stages of hearing and investigation and wanted the court not to grant the permission.

However, the court granted permission to Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit London to see his daughter. He had been visiting London once a year for the past couple of years.

Meanwhile, the court also granted permission to Vijayasai Reddy to visit several countries for the next 30 days. Vijayasai Reddy is planning to visit the USA, the UK, Dubai, Germany and other countries to sign MoUs with some companies.

Though the CBI argued against granting permission to Vijayasai Reddy, the court on Thursday granted permission.

1

The CBI court in Hyderabad reserved the judgment on the petitions filed by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy to August 31. They both filed the petitions in the court seeking permission to go abroad.

The CBI had argued against giving them permissions to abroad as the cases are pending for hearing. The CBI had asked the court to consider its request not to give permission to either of them.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to go abroad, mostly Europe, in September. He plans to visit his daughter on September 2 in London. He filed the petition on August 28.

Similarly, Vijayasai Reddy filed the petition on the same day seeking permission to go abroad to several countries. He told the court that he had to sign MoUs with several universities, companies in the UK, Dubai, Germany, Singapore, the USA and other countries.

The two leaders, in two different petitions, sought permission from the court as they are on bail and the cases are in various stages of hearing.

On hearing both sides, the court posted the cases to August 31 reserving its judgment.

SC issues notice to Vijayasai, others in Jagan cases

0

The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notices to YSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha member, V Vijayasai Reddy and two others in the CBI cases on Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. The two others are Jagathi Publications which owns Sakshi media and Bharati Cements, both headed by Jagan’s wife Y S Bharathi.

The notices were issued following a case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana high court order to stop investigation of ED cases till the investigation of the CBI cases is over.

The Supreme Court had asked Vijayasai Reddy, Jagathi Publications and Bharathi Cements to respond by September 5. The Supreme Court further said that it would decide on September 5, whether the cases are to be heard by the two-member bench or three-member bench of the apex court.

The Telangana High court in 2021 had kept aside the CBI court’s direction that both the CBI and the ED could simultaneously investigate the cases. The high court said that the ED could wait till the CBI completed its investigation.

Following this order, the ED had filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana high court orders. The supreme court took up the petitions on Wednesday and issued notices to the MP and others asking them to respond by September 5.

Tarak’s death changed Sai Reddy’s approach towards Naidu

1

YSR Congress MP, V Vijayasai Reddy, more popular as Sai Reddy, has been a ferocious critic of opposition leaders for all these years. He used to tweet in his twitter handle using filthy language at his political rivals.

Sai Reddy did not spare anyone starting from TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to Lokesh and YSR Congress rebel MP, K Raghurama Krishnam Raju. He used filthy language and hurled abuses at every one of them as part of his political game.

But things seem to have changed after the death of Telugu film actor, Nandamuri Taraka Rathna, who died recently, of heart attack. Tarak was also a close relative of Sai Reddy from his wife’s side and they seem to have shared good relations.

Sai Reddy was present in every moment from the death to cremation and ceremony of Tarak. He moved closely with the members of the Nandamuri family.

As Chandrababu Naidu is also related to the Nandamuri family, he was also present on the two occasions. Surprisingly, Sai Reddy was seen closely and fondly talking to Chandrababu Naidu during the cremation and later the death ceremony of Tarak.

The netizens shared the photographs of Chandrababu Naidu and Sai Reddy sharing a seat engaged in friendly talk. People who saw the photographs were surprised to see Sai Reddy being so friendly with Naidu.

Now, a few months later on Thursday, Sai Reddy greeted Chandrababu Naidu on his birthday. Sai Reddy tweeted saying “Happy Birthday to TDP President and Leader of Opposition Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu.” He further said, “Wishing you many more happy birthdays with perfect health and long life”.

While it was a welcome change in Sai Reddy towards Chandrababu Naidu, the netizens are recalling Sai Reddy’s previous tweets on the birthday of Chandrababu Naidu. In 2021, Sai Reddy’s tweet is now doing rounds in the social media. The tweet says, “Birthday wishes to 420 (April 20) who is celebrating his birthday in the neighbouring state since he has wound up his office in Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, this man gives a message to his party people not to celebrate his birthday in a grand way because of coronavirus.”

He further tweeted, “Already your people are following the message of “no party, no bokka” Mr Babu, they don’t need your briefing again.”

When compared to this tweet, Sai Reddy’s tweet this year speaks a lot about the changed attitude and approach of Sai Reddy towards Chandrababu Naidu. He is not even using the same filthy language even at the rebel MP, Raghurama Krishnam Raju.

YSRCP raises instant loan app fraud issue in RS

1

YSRCP member Vijay Sai Reddy raised the issue of instant loan app fraud operated by Chinese companies in India.

Reddy said, “The instant loan app threatens to leak sensitive information and the government should take note of this as most of the apps are operated by Chinese companies. ”

He said the police arrested only the Indian agents and the companies were operating from China, and were also working without permission of the RBI.

Last month the Intelligence Fusion & Strategic Operations (IFSO) Unit of Delhi Police’s Special Cell arrested two persons, including a Chinese national for extorting money from people through instant loan applications, an official said on Wednesday.

The accused have been identified as Chinese national Yu Zhang, the mastermind behind the extortion racket and Vineet Jhaver, a resident of Haryana.

The police said that so far more than Rs 150 crore have been siphoned off through accounts provided by Vineet and Zhang.

In August this year, the IFSO unit had busted various modules of instant loan applications having a Chinese connection, and arrested 22 people for allegedly siphoning off Rs 500 crore to China by the hawala route or by investing in cryptocurrency.

Sai Reddy to launch news channel, enter real estate

0

YSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy on Tuesday said that he would soon launch a news channel and even enter into the real estate business.

He told media persons that Eenadu Ramoji Rao was giving fake news against him and the YSR Congress only to unpopular the YSR Congress and thus make Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister. He said that there is unrest in the dominant community represented by Chandrababu Naidu and working hard to make him the chief minister.

“Just because he (Ramoji Rao) has a news channel and newspaper on hand, he is reporting all nonsense. In what way I am connected with the properties of my daughter’s in-laws? In fact, they were into the pharmaceutical business for decades,” Vijayasai Reddy said, referring to the reports in Eenadu that he had purchased lands in Visakhapatnam.

The MP asked whether the properties purchased now by Sailaja Kiran belonged to her parents. He also asked whether the properties purchased by Nara Bhrahmani belonged to Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Vijasai Reddy said that Ramoji Rao, who grabbed the properties of others for his offices, lands for the Ramoji Film City and illegally collected deposits in Margadarsi had no right to find fault with others.

He further dared the TDP leaders and Ramoji Rao to ask for the CBI or Enforcement Directorate enquiry into the illegal properties owned by him as well as Ramoji Rao. He sought to advise the TDP leaders and Eenadu group chairman to stop throwing mud at others, particularly the YSR Congress leaders.

He claimed that he had no properties in Daspalla lands in Vizag and the Eenadu had referred to him only to defame the YSR Congress and thus help the TDP. However, he asserted that people are wise enough and they would never vote for the TDP. “Ramoji Rao or Radha Krishna would never succeed in bringing Chandrababu Naidu back to power in the state,” Vijayasai Reddy asserted.

Vijayasai family members involved in Delhi liquor scam, says TDP

1

TDP official spokesman, Moka Ananda Sagar on Saturday revealed that the family members of the YSRCP Rajya Sabha member, Vijayasai Reddy, have close connections with the Delhi liquor scam.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters here, Ananda Sagar said that Vijayasai Reddy is involved in adulterated liquor sale in the name of his son-in-law. He said that not even a single distillery is in operation in the addresses mentioned in the name of Adaan Distilleries.

The total transactions of the Adaan Distilleries of Vijayasai Reddy has till now is a whopping Rs 5,000 cr, the TDP spokesman revealed. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has already come to a conclusion that of this Rs 5,000 cr, Rs 2,000 cr has been paid as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) to the Trident Life Sciences, he said.

The CBI in its charge-sheet already mentioned that Trident Life Sciences is the fifth accused in the Delhi liquor scam and it invested crores of rupees in the Jagathi Publications, Ananda Sagar stated. The CBI in its investigation found the involvement of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife, Bharathi, in the Delhi liquor scam, he said adding that the Trident Life Sciences is already facing charges in Jagan’s illegal assets case.

“This is a clear indication that the Delhi liquor scam case is revolving around Jagan Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy,” he said.

In the three-year rule of Jagan, the State has been witnessing lootings and atrocities. Whichever programme the Chief Minister takes up, there is some secret agenda behind it, he commented.

Jagan, who has come to power by promising total prohibition, is minting money through liquor sales after assuming office. At least 5,000 persons lost their valuable lives by consuming adulterated liquor and by banning the sale of foreign liquor brands, he observed.

Jagan wants to spend the whole amount that he has earned in this manner and wants to come back to power again. The TDP will not allow such scamsters and will fight till justice is done to the people of the State, he maintained.

Vijayasai says TDP’s victory in 2024 is a daydream

1

YSR Congress MP, V Vijayasai Reddy, in Delhi said that the opposition TDP was indulging in day dreaming of its victory in the 2024 general elections. He said that the TDP’s era is over and the people are not ready to buy the lies of Chandrababu Naidu.

Vijayasai Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu and the ‘yellow media’ were trying to inject confidence among the TDP ranks about the party’s victory. They were also spreading false and fake news against the government and the YSR Congress Party to prepare the voters against Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.

Stating that people in the state have confidence in the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy, the MP asserted that the YSR Congress Party’s popularity among the people had increased in the last three years. He said that the party had lost the 2014 elections by 1.68 per cent votes. The party had won 67 MLA seats in the house of 175 MLAs, he said.

However, the TDP had lost in the 2019 elections by a margin of 10 per cent votes and had won just 23 MLA seats. He said the TDP is not in a position to retain the 23 seats in the next elections. He also cited the results of the local body elections held in 2021 and said that people in the strongholds of the TDP have voted for the YSR Congress.

Vijayasai Reddy further cited the TDP’s defeat in Kuppam Assembly constituency which is represented by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. He advised the TDP leaders to stop indulging in day dreaming and pack their bags.

He also discounted the claims of the TDP leaders and the ‘yellow media’ on increasing anti-incumbency in the state against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. He said that people in the state were rallying behind Jagan Mohan Reddy wherever he went.

Vijayasai moves private member bills on capital and media

1

YSR Congress member V Vijayasai Reddy on Friday moved two private member bills in Rajya Sabha, seeking amendments to the Press Council Act 1978 and the Constitution. While he wanted amendments to the Press Council Act to prevent fake news in the media, he proposed an amendment to the constitution to give powers to the states to decide on their capitals.

Vijayasai Reddy’s move comes in the backdrop of a section of the media in Andhra Pradesh heading a campaign against the YSR Congress and the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government, on one side and the controversy over the three capitals proposal of the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Vijayasai Reddy said that Article 3 empowers the states to decide on their capitals. However, with the changing needs, he wanted an amendment to the constitution to add Article 3 A to give absolute powers to the states to have one or more capitals.

The YSR Congress-led state government is having the toughest time in moving forward on its plans to have three capitals in the state, leaving Amaravati as the legislative capital. In the light of these difficulties, Vijayasai Reddy wanted the Parliament to amend the constitution and give unquestionable powers to the states to decide on their capital.

He also tabled another private member bill seeking amendment to the Representation of the People Act 1951, facilitating the MPs and MLAs to cast their votes in the Presidential elections, even if they are arrested under any charges.

Vijayasai Reddy also tabled another private member bill seeking amendment to the Press Council of India Act to regulate the media. He wanted clear definition in the Act to classify the fake news and recommend stringent action against those who violate.

Andhra’s finances better than that of Centre: YSRCP leader

1

YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader V. Vijayasai Reddy on Thursday claimed that Andhra Pradesh’s finances are better than that of the Central government.

He said the financial position of Andhra Pradesh is also better than the financial position of many states.

Reddy said from 2019 to till now, the Centre’s debts have gone up by 50 per cent while during the rule of the YSRCP in the same period, Andhra Pradesh’s debts increased by only 43 per cent.

The YSRCP leader also alleged that the Centre is doing grave injustice to the states. He said the Centre was raising cesses and surcharges without giving the states their due share.

The Rajya Sabha member slammed Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for comparing the situation of Andhra Pradesh with Sri Lanka.

“Andhra Pradesh will not turn into a Sri Lanka but Chandrababu may flee to Singapore like Rajapaksa,” he said referring to the former Sri Lankan President.

Reddy noted that Andhra Pradesh’s exports are much higher than the exports of Sri Lanka.

He said it was the TDP government headed by Chandrababu Naidu which went for indiscriminate borrowings between 2014 and 2019. He claimed that the state’s debts during the period rose by 119 per cent while the Centre’s debts had gone up by only 60 per cent.

Stating that Andhra Pradesh is ruled by an effective leader like Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said Naidu was deliberately spreading falsehood about the state.

Vijayasai says YCP cadre got the booster dose

0

YSRCP General Secretary, MP Vijayasai Reddy thanked all those who made the two-day plenary a grand success and flayed TDP and its friendly media for its false propaganda. He claimed that the TDP and its media were not able to digest the success of the YSR Congress Party plenary.

Speaking to the media at the party’s headquarters here on Sunday, Vijayasai Reddy said that the plenary has enthused the party cadre with the discussions on a wide range of public issues including welfare activities. The plenary worked like a booster dose for the rank and file which would help the party to retain power in the 2024 general elections, he added. He said that almost nine lakh people have come to the Plenary, which made Chandrababu Naidu burst into tears seeing such overwhelming response.

He stated that the Plenary was held on the lines of State interests, three-years governance that prioritized the downtrodden communities and women, and the revolutionary reforms like RBKs, Nadu-Nedu and medicare. He said that the Opposition and a section of the media were confined to criticizing the meeting, as they turned blind, while the entire State was happy with the Plenary.

Vijayasai Reddy stated that after 2024 polls Chadrababu Naidu’s chip would go completely out of sight, as people would reject him. He termed Naidu as of a psycho and sadistic nature, as he is being a desperate power monger. He said that Chandrababu has no moral right to be a politician since his life is full of betraying people and backstabbing dear ones.

Vijayasai claims that plenary will be a grand affair

0

The two-day Plenary session of YSRCP, beginning July 8, will be a grand affair attended by the cadre with new filled enthusiasm as this is the first to be held after YSRCP came to power, YSRCP general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy told media here on Thursday.

About 1.5 lakh people are estimated to attend the Plenary on the first day and the number would swell to over 4 lakh on the second day of the Plenary which will reflect the merits of the three year good governance of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.

On the first day the resolution for election of party president will be adopted and the election will take place on the same day, he said. All public representatives will attend on the first day and the party president will give directions to strengthen the party committees. Party honorary president Y S Vijayamma will grace the occasion, he said.

He claimed that there is a good response from all sections of the society and clarified that there are no special invitees, except honorary president and party president. He opined that the party president will announce a new policy regarding party committees to strengthen the party and prepare for the forthcoming elections.

He slammed TDP leaders over their false propaganda against the government and obstructing welfare activities. Stating that the government launched several schemes for the welfare of people in the past three years, especially prioritizing the education, health, and agriculture sectors, he said that not a single school has been closed in the current government. He questioned Naidu to answer about giving approvals to 20 distilleries and 254 liquor brands during his tenure, while the current government didn’t issue permissions to any distilleries.

Vijayasai Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh is the only State where financial benefits are being provided to all eligible irrespective of caste, religion, and political affiliations in a most transparent manner, adding that almost Rs 1.6 lakh crore was credited through DBT in the past three years. He stated that all the initiatives taken by the government will be discussed in the two-day plenary meet and clarified that only party members will be attending the meet and not any employees or SHG women.

Vijayasai Reddy thanks Congress, other members in Rajya Sabha

0

YSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy thanked the Congress and members of other parties for their support and guidance in the house. Vijayasai Reddy spoke at the special programme held in the Parlaiemnt on Thursday to give farewell to the retiring members.

While 72 members are scheduled to retire after the current session, Vijayasai Reddy is retiring on June 21, 2022. Along with him, three more members, Suresh Prabhu, Y S Chowdary and T G Venkatesh are also retiring in June this year.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayasai Reddy said his entry to politics and then to Rajya Sabha was possible because of the Congress. He said that the Congress had filed false cases against him and his leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Because of these cases, he had come into direct politics.

In the house, Congress member Jairam Ramesh and Akali member Naresh Gujral and others have guided him so well, when he entered the house for the first time. He thanked chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for having given the opportunity to represent the party in Rajya Sabha.

Meanwhile, Vijayasai Reddy is likely to be nominated for one more term. His candidature is cleared by the chief minister. The three BJP seats falling vacant along with him will also be bagged by the ruling YSR Congress this time. The ruling YSR Congress will be able to win all the four seats from the State given its strength in the Assembly.

This would take the YSR Congress strength in the Rajya Sabha to nine out of total 11 members representing the state. The term of two other members, C M Ramesh of BJP and Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar of the TDP, is scheduled to end on April 2, 2024.

Is YS Jagan out to clip Vijaya Sai’s wings?

0

Is AP Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on a mission mode to cut his once-closest associate and current Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy to size? Those in the know say Yes. The YSRCP watchers say there is a concerted attempt to downsize Vijaya Sai’s importance in the party.

Highly placed sources say that Vijaya Sai Reddy may not be re-nominated to the Rajya Sabha this time. Vijaya Sai’s term is all set to expire and he would be left with no post if he is not re-nominated again. But, sources say that Vijaya Sai’s name may not figure in the list of the four Rajya Sabha vacancies. In all probability, YS Jagan might ask him to stand down.

There is a lot of disquiet within the party over the way Vijaya Sai is building his image in New Delhi. There are also questions about his closeness to the RSS and the BJP circles. His recent act of posing for a selfie with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is said to have incensed YS Jagan. Vijaya Sai made a dash to Narsapur, where the RSS chief was boarding a train and held discussions with him for some time before clicking a selfie. Jagan is also said to be unhappy with the way Viajay Sai was trying to throw his weight around in North Andhra. Hence, it is likely that Vijaya Sai would be denied a Rajya Sabha re-nomination.

There would be four Rajya Sabha seats up for grabs and the YSRCP is set to take all of them as it has the bulldozer majority in the AP Assembly. If sources are to be believed, Nellore politician Beeda Mastan Rao would be given one seat. A Kamma leader from the party is likely to be given another seat. Meanwhile, there is a buzz that one seat could be given to a nominee of industrialist Goutham Adani. Jagan has already made Parimal Nathwani, an Ambani nominee, as Rajya Sabha MP.

Viaya Sai Reddy not interested to be Rajya Sabha MP again?

0

It appears YSRCP’s key leader Vijay Sai Reddy is planning something big. His Rajya Sabha term is all set to end in June this year. Along with him, three other TDP-turned-BJP MPs are also completing their term. These three seats are all set to fall into the YSRCP kitty due to the bulldozer majority the party enjoys. But, will Vijay Sai Reddy re-enter the Rajya Sabha?

Normally, with the kind of majority that the YSRCP has in assembly, his return to Rajya Sabha is a foregone conclusion. But, it now appears that Vijaya sai himself is not interested in going back to Rajya Sabha. He is said to have told the party top bosses that he is planning to go to Delhi via the Lok sabha route. He wants to contest from Vizag Lok Sabha seat.

Sources say that he has picked up the challenge thrown by his rival and renegade YSRCP MP Raghuramakrishnam Raju that Vijaya sai should win from the Lok Sabha seat. RRR has repeatedly ridiculed Vijaysai Reddy saying that he did not win with the public support and that he is only a Rajya Sabha MP. Vijay Sai has taken this challenge quite seriously and is planning to win from the Vizag Lok Sabha seat.

For the past two years , he has been focusing on the Vizag seat. However, there is a catch. The sitting MP in Vizag is MVV Satyanarayana. Sources say that he could be asked to move to Anakapalle to allow Vijayasai to contest from Vizag. This only means that Jagan can accommodate another leader with Rajya Sabha seat in case Vijaya sai declines to go to Rajya Sabha again.

Why is Vijay Sai Reddy proudly flaunting his RSS links?

0

Count on Vijay Sai Reddy to spring surprise after surprise. He is known to surprise not just his adversaries but also his own party leaders. The other day Vjayasai met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at Narsapuram. Not just that, he also tweeted a photograph of his with Mohan Bhagwat. He had also tagged the tweet with the RSS chief and the RSS.org, the RSS website.

Vijay Sai, whose pro-Hindu leanings are well-known, has also tweeted thus: “It was a honor meeting Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh @DrMohanBhagwatJi today 27th December, 2021 at Narsapuram. Had the wonderful opportunity of seeking his blessings and listening to his words of guidance. @RSSorg. “

The tweet is sure to raise hackles not just in his party, the YSRCP, but also in other political parties. Vijayasai’s open admission of his admiration for the RSS and his chef are sure to create a ruckus in YSRCP. Vijayasai’s adversaries in the party could use this to attack him. But, Vijay Sai perhaps is also sending a message that he is closer to the RSS and the BJP establishment. This is a sort of warning, say analysts. At the same time, he is perhaps poking at the TDP, which is now trying to get closer to the BJP.

In fact, many insiders know that Vijayasai had played a key role in bringing Jagan closer to Hindu seers, especially the Vizag Seer Swami Swaroopananda. He made Jagan shed his pro-Christian image to woo the Hindu voters of the state.

Jagan rectifying Naidu’s contractual jobs mistake: YSRCP

0

Senior YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayasai Reddy said on Monday that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is rectifying the mistake of contract jobs introduced by former Chief Minister and TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu.

“Chandrababu Naidu had introduced the contractual jobs mistake. Jagan Mohan Reddy is correcting it,” said Reddy.

Reddy reminded that 51,000 Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) employees were absorbed into the government fold under the YSRCP government, terming it as “no ordinary development”.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP leader upped the ante against Mansas Trust’s reinstated chairman and senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Ashok Gajapati Raju.

Hinting at Raju, Reddy claimed that people in north Andhra Pradesh know who blocked the ‘panchagramala’ settlement and alleged that nobody believed in Raju’s stories.

“Do not pose like an innocent person Ashok. Everybody understood what would happen in Mansas Trust once Babu’s men got into it,” alleged Reddy.

Court cases can’t stop Capital shifting: Vijay Sai

1

It is well known the cases filed by the farmers and opposition parties against the Capital shifting have been seen as hurdles for the ruling YSRCP’s plan to move to Visakhapatnam. The High Court has already asked the Government not to shift the Executive Capital till after all the cases were disposed of.

However, YCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy once again came before the public and announced that very soon, they were going to shift the Capital to Vizag. The court cases can’t stop the shifting of the Executive Capital. His final logic is that the Chief Minister can carry out his duties from any part of the State.

Two years were over since Mr. Jagan Reddy took over as the CM. Even before the elections itself, the YSRCP had some plans to cancel the Amaravati Capital City project. When this subject stirred negative reaction from the public, the CM and his party leaders said at that time that there would be no question of sabotaging Amaravati.

However, in the name of the decentralisation and three capitals, the Executive Capital was proposed to be shifted to Vizag. The CM tried to hasten this shift last summer itself. This year, summer is coming to a close. Again, the YCP leaders are dropping hints at their CM functioning from Vizag soon considering it as Executive Capital regardless of the court’s orders.
