Nabha Natesh in Bellamkonda’s Next

Young actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas commenced the shoot of his next film, an action entertainer that is titled Tyson Naidu. Saagar Chandra is directing this film and the first schedule of the film got wrapped up in Ramoji Film City in a special set. Young and talented Nabha Natesh is roped in as the leading lady in Tyson Naidu. Bellamkonda and Nabha Natesh worked in Alludu Adhurs in the past but the film ended up as a debacle.

The duo is teaming up for the second time in Tyson Naidu. 14 Reels Plus are the producers and the film releases early next year. After the disaster of Chatrapathi, Bellamkonda Sreenivas is not in a hurry and he is extra cautious. He is also holding talks for a couple of films that will be announced soon.

Bellamkonda’s New Film Launched

Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Bollywood debut ‘Chathrapathi’ failed miserably after which he returned back to Tollywood. His next film is with Bheemla Nayak director Saagar Chandra. Tentatively titled as BS10, the film had an official pooja ceremony today. The film is mounted on a high budget and Bellamkonda Sreenivas will be projected in a new way.

Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta will be bankrolling the project under 14 Reels Plus banner. Director Harish Shankar made the first clap for the muhurtham shot. Directors Parusuram and Anil Ravipudi also graced the movie opening pooja ceremony which was held at the production house office. The film’s regular shoot will commence in the second week of June. More details about the film are yet to be revealed.

Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s brother Ganesh is the lead actor in Nenu Student Sir. Bellamkonda Sreenivas was impressed with the idea pitched by Rakesh and gave his nod even before the release of his debut film. The film is a periodic sports drama and the lead actor loses in one of the Olympics and ends up as a winner in the next Olympics. Naandhi Satish Varma will produce this untitled sports drama.

Hindi Chanthrapathi is a duplicate version of the Telugu one. VV Vinayak has copied every scene mostly. The jaw-dropping stunts and emotional story might impress the Hindi audience too.

It’s been quite a long time since Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ film released in theatres. He impressed the audience as a police officer in Rakshasudu. Later his films turned out to be a big disappointments at the box office. His last release was Alludu Adhurs in 2021. The actor was busy with his Bollywood project in VV Vinayak’s direction, which is an official remake of Prabhas’ Chatrapathi. The film did not create much buzz in Bollywood and the makers finally are heading towards an OTT release.

Sreenivas is planning for a bigger one this time. The actor finalized a film with Bheemla Nayak director Sagar Chandra. 14 Reels Plus will produce this film and expect to shoot the film in March. The official announcement regarding the film is expected to be out soon.

Buzz: Chatrapathi Remake in Trouble?

Bellamkonda Sreenivas is done with the shoot of his first Hindi film which happens to be the remake of the Telugu blockbuster film Chatrapathi. VV Vinayak directed this film that is made on a big-budget. Pen Studios backed this film and the production house inked a three film deal with Bellamkonda Sreenivas. The final copy of Chatrapathi remake is ready but the makers are yet to take the final call on the release. Not a single promotional content nor the title of the film is announced. The film is carrying no buzz and the makers feel that it would be a tough plan to promote the film across the country and release it in theatres.

The Hindi theatrical release plans of Chatrapathi remake are kept aside. The non-theatrical deals are closed. The makers are chalking out alternate plans for the film. A direct OTT release too is considered. For now, Pen Studios is not ready to shell out huge money for the promotions and the theatrical release which would cost atleast Rs 20 crores more. Bellamkonda Sreenivas is also yet to announce his next Telugu film.

Tollywood producer, son booked for cheating

Hyderabad police have booked a case of cheating against Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his son and actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas for allegedly cheating a financier to the tune of Rs 85 lakh.

A case was booked on Friday against the duo by the Central Crime Station (CCS) police on the direction of a city court.

V.L. Sravan Kumar had approached the court complaining that the producer and his son took the money in installments from him during 2018 to make a movie. The petitioner claimed that the producer had promised to take him as assistant producer for a film to be made under the direction of Malineni Gopichand.

The financier informed the court that believing their word, he paid them the amount but they cheated him. The court had directed the police to file a case against Suresh and Srinivas.

The CCS police registered a case under Indian Penal Code’s Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 417, 420 (cheating), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy)

As part of the investigation, the police asked the complainant to appear before the investigating officer with relevant documents and record his statement.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’s biopic on Nageswara Rao titled ‘Stuartpuram Donga’

Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will soon be seen playing the lead in the biopic of Tiger Nageswara Rao. The film has been announced with the title ‘Stuartpuram Donga’.

Nageswara Rao was known as the notorious and courageous thief of Stuartpuram in the 1970s.

The life and times of Nageswara Rao, known for his smart way of escape from police and prison too, will come alive on the big screen. In fact, it was one such escape from a Chennai jail that gave him the moniker of ‘Tiger’. The infamous robber was finally shot dead by the police in 1987.

According to the film’s production team, a strong script has been prepared and all the required commercial ingredients are included in the right proportions. Vennelakanti Brothers are the writers for the film. Since the story is set in the 70s and 80s, popular technicians are zeroed in to be part of this high-budget entertainer.

The film will be directed by KS and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.

Melody Brahma Mani Sharma will score the music. Shyam K Naidu handles the camera, while Thammiraju is the editor and AS Prakash is the art director.

Meanwhile Bellamkonda is busy wrapping up the shoot of his Bollywood debut. He will be seen in the Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Chatrapathi’, which is directed by VV Vinayak. The shooting of the film is taking place here.

Buzz: Bellamkonda Sreenivas inks a three-film Bollywood deal

Tollywood young actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas has done a decent set of Telugu films but none of his films ended up as money spinners going with their budgets. Bellamkonda Sreenivas proved that he is good enough in dances and performing action stunts which brought him a good fan base across the Bollywood circles. The actor surprised everyone after he signed the remake of Chatrapathi in Hindi. Sensational director VV Vinayak is on board to helm this high voltage action entertainer.

Renowned production house Jayantilal Gada’s Pen India Limited will bankroll this project. The latest news we hear says that Bellamkonda Sreenivas already signed a three-film Hindi movie deal with this production house and Chatrapathi remake is one among them. Bellamkonda Sreenivas is reportedly taking home Rs 35 crores for these three films. Chatrapathi remake will commence shoot from the mid of February. As of now, Kiara Advani and Jahnvi Kapoor are approached for the heroine’s role and things will be finalized soon. Chatrapathi remake will be shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Dhaka.

Alludu Adhurs turns into a multi-starrer

Young actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas is all set to test his luck with his next offering Alludu Adhurs. The film is set to hit the screens on January 15th for Sankranthi. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been picked up to play the role of the lead antagonist. After the arrival of coronavirus, Sonu Sood lent his support to lakhs of daily wage workers and emerged as a super hero of the country. Sonu Sood is flooded with love and he turned a real hero during the coronavirus times.

The makers of Alludu Adhurs realized this and changed the script. Sonu Sood’s role is changed from negative shades and he has a full-length positive role assigned in Alludu Adhurs. He will also be seen in a song and the trailer of Alludu Adhurs will also have enough screen presence of Alludu Adhurs. The film is now presented as a multi-starrer of Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonu Sood considering the sudden rise of Sonu’s stardom.

Alludu Adhurs is directed by Santosh Srinivas and Nabha Natesh is the leading lady. Devi Sri Prasad is on board as the music composer. The trailer of Alludu Adhurs will be out on January 3rd marking Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ birthday.

Massive budget for Alludu Adhurs

Sankranthi 2021 race heated up after the arrival of Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ upcoming movie Alludu Adhurs. Ravi Teja’s Krack, Ram’s RED and Vijay’s Master are in the race after which Alludu Adhurs is announced for release. Santosh Srinivas is the director and Nabha Natesh is the leading lady. The film is made on a budget of Rs 35 crores and the makers recovered Rs 25 crores through the non-theatrical rights.

There are decent theatrical deals for Alludu Adhurs and the makers are expected to pocket profits before the release. A song is currently canned in Hyderabad and the entire shooting portions will be completed very soon. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Sumanth Movie Productions are the producers. Why is Bellamkonda getting chances despite of Flops
The present situation in Tollywood is any  actor with consecutive 2-3 flops is out of the race. Several young actors , after a series of flops , are having tough time to find promising filmmakers for their next. But things are different for Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas who is bagging a bunch of interesting films. The actor could not score a notable hit till date though he impressed the audience with his performance and dance moves.
The actor has his dairy full till the end of next year which may be surprising. He is busy wrapping up the shoot of Sita and he will soon join the sets of Ratsasan remake which will be directed by directed by Ramesh Varma. RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi will direct Bellamkonda in a multi-starrer titled ‘Maha Samudram’. Couple of other projects are currently under pre-production and they will roll next year.
One may wonder why he is getting so many opportunities despite flops. The Hindi dubbing rights of his films are fetching the makers Rs 10-12 crores which is recovering over half of the investment of his films. On the other side, his father Bellamkonda Suresh is a strong financial pillar for his films because of which several filmmakers prefer to rope in Bellamkonda Sreenivas for their films. The actor is in plans to score his first success soon.

The theatrical trailer of Bellamkonda Srinivas’ upcoming film Kavacham has been unveiled this Sunday and it promises a typical cop drama with loads of action.

The theatrical trailer is an extension of the power packed teaser. Srinivas is playing a fiery cop who is on a task to accomplish a mission. He mouths powerful dialogues and carries good energy levels. Neil Nithin Mukesh and Harish Uttam are essaying negative roles in this film. Kajal Aggarwal and Mehreen Pirzada will add glamour to this actioner. The production values are adequate as the technical team has big names like SS Thaman and Chota K Naidu.

On the whole, Kavacham is going to be a full length cop thriller with a lot of action and drama. Whether the director can make this an engaging watch with his racy narration is going to be the deciding factor for the film.

Directed by Srinivas Mamila, Kavacham is gearing up for release on December 7th. Vamsadhara Creations is bankrolling the film.
