Roja crosses all limits to insult Pawan

1

YCP MLA and lady firebrand Roja is showing her gratitude to CM Jagan for giving her Chairperson post of APIIC, which plays a crucial role in the so called controversial Special Economic Zones. She is now competing with other YCP leaders in launching a bitter attack on Jana Sena Pawan Kalyan’s humiliating bare-all report on 100-day rule. Till now, Chandrababu Naidu used paid artists to attack Jagan Sarkar but even Pawan has begun criticising YCP finally. Her indirect remarks are obvious that Senani is no better than paid artists.

Not stopping at that, Roja crossed another limit asking whether Pawan Kalyan is still receiving packages from the TDP boss just like during the 2019 election campaign. YCP MPs and MLAs are firing full blast on Pawan indicating how much they were embarrassed by Senani’s sensational and shocking report on 100-days of inexperience, misgovernance and demolitions. Vijayasai Reddy has also tweeted indirectly saying Pawan has no moral right to comment on sand policy as Senani’s Mangalagiri office building was constructed

Why exit polls gave 0 to 5 to Jana Sena?

0

Some national media like C Voter, Jan Ki Baat and Chanakya gave zero MLA seats to Jana Sena. Some others gave zero to one. Lagadapati Rajagopal gave one to five seats to Pawan’s party. The political circles and common voters are indeed stunned at these low figures. They are not matching with the massive response to Pawan’s election campaign meetings and his undoubted influence on the young voters from different sections.

Jana Sena leaders argue that all these surveys are under the influence of the major political parties. They have not expected unbiased results from these media houses. Their only hope is the silent voting which is beyond the estimations of the exit polls. Whatever be their confidence, Jana Sainiks are no doubt shaken by the surveys. Their frustration is that their party has not touched double digit in any of these surveys.

Why is Pawan losing impact in twin Capital districts?

3

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has lot of charisma in Krishna and Guntur districts. The people are here are film lovers and theatre-going public for generations. Vijayawada and Guntur cities are known for admiring film celebrities. But there is no expected response to Pawan Kalyan’s party here this time. There were huge crowds at his meetings but this has not left any clear positive impact in terms of vote banks.

Going by the present speculation, Jana Sena party candidates are not having winning chances in any of the 33 assembly segments in the two districts. Krishna has 16 and Guntur 17 segments. Analysts are giving many reasons for this. There are no strong candidates who have enough political background to compete with rival parties.

Moreover, Pawan himself is not contesting in any of the seats here. On the other hand, the Kapu vote bank is being split because of Vangaveeti Radhakrishna who is campaigning extensively in the twin capital districts. Radha hails from Vijayawada and his campaigning has hit Jana Sena to a considerable extent in these districts. Also Jana Sena candidates are also losing out totally as they are not able to distribute cash to buy votes which is against party ideology.

Former CBI official Lakshminarayana makes poll promises on bond paper

0

Hyderabad: VV Lakshminarayana, popularly known as JD Lakshminarayana, has released his poll promises on a bond paper. The former CBI joint director is contesting on Jana Sena ticket in Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency. He further assured the Visakha people that he would be available all the time to resolve problems in the constituency.

“As part of my Reach Your MP app, I’ll be available round the clock to the Visakha citizens and serve them. I have a plan to make Visakhapatnam as the best city in the country. Jana Sena will set up citizen service centers in every Assembly constituency. Jana Sena gives utmost priority to environment protection. Towards this, we’ll curtail the industrial pollution and protect the fish and other creatures in the sea,” said Lakshminarayana.

The Jana Sena MP candidate has released the party’s manifesto on the occasion of Telugu new year Ugadi.

Jana Sena has prepared a plan to promote electric vehicles (e-Vehicles) to reduce air pollution in the city. As part of this, e-Buses and e-Autorikshaws will be promoted in a big way, he said.

In his bond paper of poll promises, the former CBI official has further stated that plan for plastic-free Visakhapatnam, enhancing civic amenities to make Vizag as best livable city in the country. For this, people’s participation is a must, he said.

For every quarter, Jana Sena will release a report on implementation of manifesto.

Will Jana Sena split anti-government vote?

0

Political speculation is centred on which of the two main parties will suffer more because of Jana Sena Party. There are different arguments coming forth. TDP won in 2014 when Pawan Kalyan extended his support. But this time, he is contesting alone. It is leading to a political situation similar to his elder brother Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party contesting alone in 2009 election. Because of Praja Rajyam, the anti-government was split which eventually led to a second consecutive victory for YCR in 2009.

It was a fact that Kapus supported the Congress party in 2004 when the party won. But in 2009 they shifted their loyalties wholesale to Chiranjeevi. But that has not hurt the ruling Congress party at that time. Chiranjeevi’s presence has split anti-government vote in general that proved disadvantageous to TDP. These calculations are applicable to the present AP electoral scene as well.

It is one of the reasons that are being given for the absence of predominant anti-incumbency factor against TDP now. The YCP leaders are simply going by the simple concept that Pawan and TDP contesting separately will benefit it. Analysts say YCP’s calculations may go wrong as its traditional vote bank is also being disturbed to a little extent because of Pawan’s charisma among youth and poorer sections.

Will triangular contests benefit Jana Sena in AP?

0

Pawan Kalyan has said in the past that he will contest in the backward Anantapur district. But he changed his plans completely and started focusing more in the Godavari districts and North Coastal Andhra. It was expected in political circles long time back. It showed how Jana Sena Party is struggling to give a reasonable fight to the ruling TDP and the main opposition YCP in South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts.

Even in Central Coastal Andhra districts like Krishna and Guntur, Pawan Kalyan is not able to make a big impact. Jana Sena candidates are giving reasonable contests in segments in Godavari districts and Visakhapatnam urban areas. Analysts say that this is the reason why Pawan has selected Vizag MP seat for ‘JD’ Lakshminarayana.

Pawan himself is contesting from Gajuwaka in Vizag outskirts. Both the leaders having celebrity status and wide recognition are contesting from the same place. Vangaveeti Radha, who joined the TDP, has good influence in Godavari districts but not in Vizag. The TDP leaders are depending heavily on Radha to influence the Kapu voters to a large extent in districts from East Godavari to Prakasam districts. In majority segments, the main fight will be between the TDP and YCP while Jana Sena candidates may have an impact on winning chances here and there.

AP elections: Pawan fans get priority in Jana Sena ticket allocation ?

0

Hyderabad: The selection criterion for fielding potential candidates in Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh has become a cumbersome exercise for Jana Sena party. However, sources say that Pawan Kalyan fans more likely to get top priority over politicians, who joined the party of late. Jana Sena has already set up a screening committee, which has started receiving applications from aspirants.

The screening committee comprising Hariprasad, Riyaz Khan, Mahender Reddy and Madasu Gangaram, is now busy with the selection process and will submit the list of probables to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan soon.

“We see heavy rush for Assembly constituencies when compared with Lok Sabha seats. The screening committee is receiving applications till February 21 and will finalise the list this month end. We’re confident that social equations will be maintained in the selection of candidates as the screening committee is also well balanced as it represents all sections of the society,” said a Jana Sena leader.

The latest resignation of Jana Sena party Eluru Parliamentary committee executive member Mathe Babi, the party has turned cautious in choosing candidates and addressing the dissatisfaction among aspirants and cadres. At the same time, Jana Sena party seems to be firm on disciplinary aspect when it comes to dealing with rebels.

TDP MLA Ravela resigns, to join Jana Sena

0

TDP MLA Ravela Kishore Babu resigned from the TDP primary membership. He is all set to join the Jana Sena party on December 1. Elaborate plans are being made by his followers to join Jana Sena amid fanfare.

Kishore Babu has taken the decision after he is hopeful of getting the Jana Sena party ticket to contest the the 2019 assembly elections. He is expecting ticket for either Prathipadu or Tadikonda assembly segments.

Kishore Babu has fallen out of favour with the TDP leadership and he eventually lost his ministership as well. Later, he distanced himself from the TDP party activities and began efforts for joining YSR Congress. His efforts to get assurance for YCP ticket did get good response. Afterwards, Ravela got in touch with the Jana Sena leaders.

It’s not yet known whether the Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has given any promise to him. Kishore Babu followers are saying their leader will contest in next election on Jana Sena ticket.

This is in tune the latest stand of Pawan Kalyan to give party tickets only for those who have ample chances to win the election or who can give a tough fight.

Telangana: Jana Sena will contest 2019 parliamentary polls

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan has explained why his party could not contest in the Telangana’s December assembly elections. The sudden announcement of early polls has left less time for Jana Sena to fully prepare its cadres and leaders leading to the final withdrawal from the election fray.

In fact, Jana Sena has made preparations for putting up candidates thinking that Telangana assembly elections will also be held in 2019 along with Lok Sabha polls. KCR’s decision has dealt a blow to Jana Sena party’s plan. Even the YSR Congress Party was also badly hit and it could not field its nominees eventually.

In his statement, Pawan Kalyan says that they have got a plan for making their presence felt in the 2019 parliamentary elections in Telangana and Andhra. Pawan has held a meeting of party leaders especially to discuss fallout of Telangana polls. The meeting unanimously resolved to prepare from now itself for the 2019 election in both Telugu states. The party has asserted its commitment to stand on the side of Telugu people to protect their interests.

Meanwhile, there are allegations from the TDP that both Jana Sena and TDP are friendly to the TRS and BJP. This is the reason why YSRCP and Jana Sena didn’t enter Telangana assembly polls to avoid splitting of settlers’ votes. TRS is expecting a section of settlers votes in its favour despite TDP claiming greater share.

Jana Sena-Left tie-up in damage control mode

0

After suffering reverses in their bid to attract Mayawati’s BSP to their side, Jana Sena and Left parties alliance is now taking an asserting line against rival parties. These leaders assert that they will offer a strong third alternative to TDP and YCP in the state.

Pawan Kalyan has kept silent on his tour to Lucknow though are there are reports that his effort to speak to Mayawati failed a few days ago. Meanwhile, Mayawati has indicated her party’s readiness to work with Congress, TDP and other anti-BJP parties in 2019.

Amidst this, CPM state secretary P. Madhu warned the TDP and YCP leaders not to think it is going to be just a direct fight between them. He asserted that their Jana Sena and Left parties combination would certainly work jointly to give a tough contest to the ruling and opposition parties in AP.

Jana Sena and Left parties held a Kavathu march in Anantapur today demanding immediate steps to help farmers overcome their problems because of prolonged drought there. CPM leader Madhu and CPI leader Ramakrishna threatened to intensify their agitation if CM Chandrababu Naidu does not extend immediate assistance to Anantapur farmers.

Ticket aspirants joining Jana Sena

0

Strong aspirants, who are denied a chance to get TDP tickets, are looking towards Jana Sena in North Coastal Andhra. They seem to consider Pawan a far safer bet to enhance their future political careers rather than Jaganmohan Reddy.

Now, TDP senior leader Sundarapu Vijaya Kumar shifted his loyalty and joined Jana Sena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan. Vijaya Kumar wants to contest elections from Yelamanchili assembly segment in Visakhapatnam district in 2019.

The rise of Jana Sena as an alternative party for ticket aspirants has come as a severe blow to YCP. Even TDP leadership is closely monitoring the situation in the context of aspirations that are certain to crop up among second rung leaders in different constituencies.

While joining Jana Sena, Vijaya Kumar said that he was attracted to Pawan’s ideology to serve the public and work for the uplift of the poorer sections. Some more local leaders have also joined Jana Sena.

Another senior Congress leader joining Jana Sena

0

One by one, senior Congress leaders are joining Jana Sena Party these days. Former Speaker Nadendla Manohar recently created a sensation by joining Pawan’s party in order to contest 2019 elections from Tenali on Jana Sena ticket.

Now, Congress Krishna district vice president Chalamalasetty Ramesh Babu along with his followers is shifting loyalties to Jana Sena, saying that he is impressed with the ideals that Pawan Kalyan is standing for.

Ramesh Babu has been rendering his services to Congress for the last three decades and he is considered a strong leader in Hanuman Junction area in the district.

Along with him, several mandal and village level leaders are also joining Jana Sena.

The exodus of leaders from Congress is not unexpected but what is surprising is that most of these leaders are preferring Pawan to Jagan.

In the case of Nadendla Manohar, there was speculation why the senior leader did not opt for YCP. Sources say there is considerable vote bank of ‘kapus’ and Pawan fans in Tenali segment, which is expected to boost Manohar’s chances of winning.

If the former Speaker manages to win a few thousand votes from his family strong hold villages and also his ‘kamma’ caste, it will change the voters’ verdict in his favour.

If scenario continues like this, Congress will get vacant in districts from Guntur to Srikakulam while YCP will face a greater internal crisis even to field strong candidates in many segments in these regions.

Jana Sena to contest all 19 MLA seats in East Godavari

0

Pawan Kalyan has kept all his hopes on East Godavari district which is home to his numerically strong Kapu caste and also the most populous district in AP consisting of total 19 assembly segments.

It was in this district that Pawan’s brother Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party won four MLA seats in 2009 elections, which were Kakinada Rural, Peddapuram, Pithapuram and Kothapeta.

Going by this, Pawan has decided to field his party candidates in all 19 segments and aim at winning majority of the seats with special efforts to be made in the four constituencies won by PRP in 2009.

Pawan has made this clear to party district leaders and asked them to make all arrangements to ensure a record crowd at the Dowleswaram barrage ‘Kavathu’ march programme to be held on Oct 15 as part of his Praja Porata Yatra.

At the same place, Jagan also tried to put up a great show during his Praja Sankalpa yatra but he did not get expected results despite special video coverage was taken using high-tech drones.

In case of Pawan, it is the crowd that is going to make the difference. And, he wants such a big crowd that it should become the talk of the nation. Yes, the public talk is everything that matters in election season.

Denduluru MLA: Pawan demands action for slapping man

0

Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan, during his visit to West Godavari, came under heavy pressure from the workers’ unions and the left parties to issue his statement over the man-slapping incident involving controversial leader and Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar.

The slapping incident took place way back in April this year when the MLA was arguing with a bus driver at Hanuman Junction over why he did not get torn posters of Chief Minister Chandrababu removed from the vehicle body before running it on roads. A hamali coolie travelling in the bus tried to intervene in favour of the driver and the MLA was stated to have slapped him in public view.

Prabhakar was known for his high handed and confrontationist behaviour. Over 40 cases of assault and intimidation were said to have been filed against him in various police stations. But he would dismiss such cases as politically motivated.

The slapping incident came to the fore once again as CPI, CPM and unions’ leaders raised this during Pawan’s visit. The Jana Sena leader demanded that the TDP take action against its Denduluru MLA immediately and asked Chandrababu Naidu to decide whether he supports the controversial MLA or the public.

Chintamaneni Prabhakar is known very well for his alleged assaults on rival party leaders, officials and others without showing the least expected patience over any mistakes.

A court also gave him two years imprisonment in a 2011 case when Prabhakar was accused of having assaulted then minister Vatti Vasanta Kumar on the dais itself during a Rachabanda programme. The case was filed based on the complaint given by Vasanta Kumar’s driver and Prabhakar termed those charges as baseless and politically motivated.

The TDP MLA was also in the eye of a controversy a few years ago when he was alleged to have targetted a woman revenue officer over matters of illegal sand quarrying and transportation. He also confronted Pawan politically on several occasions, criticising the Jana Sena activities time and again.

Despite his controversial behaviour, Prabhakar has won won Denduluru MLA seat in 2009 and 2014 successively. In fact, his majority increased from 14,235 in 2009 to 17,746 in 2014.

It seems that some leaders get success by hugging controversies.

What is Sivaji politically upto?

0

Actor Sivaji started his career with Gemini TV as anchor. He later entered into films with “Master” movie and did notable roles in films like Indra and Khushi. He acted as hero in films like Missamma. Later, since 2013 has been actively raising his voice against social issues. When bus accident happened in 2013, in Palem he was the one who questioned government’s inaction on private bus owners vehemently. Later he joined BJP Party before 2014 elections. However after elections, he has been annoying BJP party by rising special category status issue. BJP party that has promised special category status to AP could not answer his questions like why it has been delaying the same.

Recently Sivaji started giving statements like – Pawan Kalyan and Jagan should fight together to get special category status to AP. But before any YSRCP fan could cheer on his statement, he immediately added Jagan is not able to fight on central government with his full force as he is still facing money laundering cases by ED.

There have been news of late, that Power star Pawan Kalyan will be giving 5 seats to people from film industry. Then there have been rumors that Sivaji also one of those 5 in addition to Trivikram and Ali. Sivaji who was once seen criticizing Pawan Kalyan heavily and asking why Pawan is not questioning NDA government on special category status issue, now seems to be going soft on Pawan Kalyan which further fueled these rumors.

So, one has to wait and see if Sivaji is going to join Jana Sena party, as being said by these gossip mongers or will he again change his soft tone over Pawan Kalyan and again start blasting him before elections.

Jana Sena: TDP is not an ally, will work with YSRCP for special status

0

JanaSena Media Head Hariprasad said that their party is willing to work even with the opposition YSR Congress for securing special category status to Andhra Pradesh. He said that Jana Sena’s alliance with TDP was limited to 2014 elections. Moreover Kalyan said that he will give 60 percent seats to new candidates in the next elections.

Hariprasad advised Minister Pithani Satyanarayana’s to come out of his home and look at the popularity of the actor-cum-politician. His party is of the thought that TDP leaders are making comments against Kalyan without the knowledge of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

On the other hand Kalyan took to twitter to advise his followers not to get provoked by the remarks of some people. He said that it might cause damage to the party instead of doing good.
