Kanakamedala’s plea to CEC to immediately transfer CS, DGP

0

Senior TDP leader and former member of Parliament (MP), Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Tuesday made an appeal to transfer Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, KS Jawahar Reddy, Incharge Director General of Police (DGP), KV Rajendranath Reddy, DGP (Intelligence), PSR Anjaneyulu along with other senior bureaucrats as either they are juniors holding high positions or following the dictates of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In a letter submitted to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) in New Delhi, Kanakamedsla explained the reasons in detail as to why they should immediately be shifted from the posts that they are holding now. With regard to the Chief Secretary, the TDP leader informed the CEC that his very appointment to the top post in the administration is done purely on communal and regional considerations overlooking six seniors to him. Jawahar Reddy has been rigidly following the dictates of Jagan, particularly in appointing the Collectors to various districts, Superintendents of Police (SPs) and the Returning Officers, Kanakamedala said in the letter.

Also, the Chief Secretary has been aggressively helpful in the enrolment of bogus voters while deleting the genuine voters from the list during the special summary revision of the electoral rolls, Kanakamedala said. This is merely to help the ruling dispensation to serve its political interests during the crucial election time, he said.

With regard to Rajendranath Reddy, has been appointed as the Incharge DGP in February 2022 overlooking the seniority of 13 IPS officers who are holding the position of the DGP, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar said. As a quid pro quo, Rajendranath Reddy, who hails from Kadapa, the native district of the Chief Minister, has been exhibiting his utmost loyalty to Jagan and the ruling party for the past two years, he added.

The law and order situation in the State has become a casualty in his acts of omissions and commissions and hundreds of false cases have been foisted against the leaders of rival parties and social activists for questioning the wrongdoings of the Government. Several TDP functionaries have been harassed and even killed during this period, Kanakamedala said.

This apart, the SPs and the Sub-Divisional Police Officers (DSPOs) who belong to a particular community amenable to the ruling party and are corrupt have been posted to critical districts and Assembly segments where the Opposition candidates are strong, the former MP told the CEC in the letter. This resulted in the entire police setup becoming inefficient and negligent under his supervision, he said and mentioned the failure of security during the latest visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to the State to address a public meeting near Chilakaluripet.

PSR Anjaneyulu has been favoured by this Government promoting him to the rank of the DGP in 2022 along with several seniors to him, the former MP said. As a quid pro quo, PSR Anjaneyulu has become a pawn in the hands of the ruling party to do all intrigues against the Opposition parties, he said.

Anjaneyulu is squarely responsible for the failure of intelligence when TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu naidu, was attacked at Angallur and at Punganur in Chittoor district, Kanakamedala said. This senior police officer colluded with the State police and allowed huge gatherings around a private hospital in Kurnool just to prevent the arrest of YSRCP leader and MP, Avinash Reddy, he said, adding that he has posted officers again belonging to a particular community in the Intelligence wing.

The former MP also mentioned several other issues in the letter and said that he has been targeting Opposition parties leaders, including Chandrababu, the TDP national general secretary, Nara Lokesh and others. There are also reports that this IPS officer is involved in tapping the phones of leaders of the Opposition parties only to help the ruling dispensation, Kanakamedala said.

Another senior IPS officer, Dr K Raghurami Reddy, who is again a DGP rank officer, has been given the position of the DGP (Vigilance and Enforcement) overlooking the seniority of 22 DGP and Additional DGP officers only with an ulterior motive. This officer is a known loyalist of Jagan who has cut short his Central deputation only to come back to State, he said.

The Opposition parties have become victims in his hands and this IPS officer started harassing the candidates of Opposition parties who are in the race for both the Lok Sabha and the Assembly, Kanakamedala said. The classic example is that Dr Raghurami Reddy has ordered for a ride on the campus of the Narayana Group of Institutions on the pretext of searching for spurious drugs and the former minister, Narayana, who is in the race from Nellore, has been arrested, he said. Kanakamedala also mentioned several other such incidents in his letter.

Yet another IPS officer, Y Rishanth Reddy, who is now SP of Counter Intelligence has also been posted as incharge IG/DIG of Special Task Force of red sanders based in Tirupati, the former MP informed the CEC in the letter. The post of Chief of STF is of the rank of the DIG or the IG and officers having a minimum experience of 14 years should be given this posting, he said. This apart, Rishanth Reddy was mired in several controversies when he was the SP, Chittoor and is a hardcore supporter of the ruling YSRCP, he said.

Rishanth Reddy has been given this posting only to deliberately put blocks to the Opposition parties by checking their vehicles in the guise of checking red sanders smuggling, Kanakamedala said and felt that his continuation in the post will lead to a precarious situation for the NDA candidates. He demanded that Mr Rishanth Reddy be shifted immediately from the post.

AV Dharma Reddy, who is an IDES service officer has been posted as the Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and has been continuing in the post for the past nine years, Kanakamedala pointed out. Mentioning how Dharma Reddy has been misusing his power as TTD Executive Officer, Kanakamedala pointed out that the funds of the temple amounting thousands of crores are being released for the civic works and in turn he is getting kickbacks.

Kanakamedara said that in view of the above facts these officers should be transferred from their
present postings. He also made an appeal to the CEC to appoint police observers for every Lok Sabha constituency in the State, order for comprehensive videography in all polling booths, order for posting of woman officers in all polling booths for verification of voter IDs and order for illegal and unauthorised liquor dumps besides illegal money stashed in the State for preventing their misuse during polls.

Kanakamedala complaints at delay in acting on seizure of huge dump of election gifts

0

Pointing out that the TDP activists have identified a huge dump of ‘election gifts’ carrying photos of the YSRCP leaders to which are to be distributed to the voters to induce them, Rajya Sabha member and senior TDP leader, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Wednesday made an appeal to the Election Commission to keep a strict vigil on these stocks besides booking cases against those responsible for storing these material.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner and released to the media, Kanakamedala said that the seized material comprised wrist watches, sarees, grinders, T-shirts, cookers and speakers carrying the photos of the YSRCP leaders, including their party president, Jagan Mohan Reddy. This material is aimed at distributing to the voters to induce them to vote for the YSRCP, he felt.

Stating that the material was caught by the TDP activists on Tuesday at the old FCI Godown, on Old Airport Road in Renigunta of Srikalahasti Assembly segment, the MP said that a complaint was raised immediately on C-Vigil app and another complaint on the same app late in the evening of Tuesday. “But till now there is no response from the election officials on this,” Kanakamedala said in the letter.

Also, a complaint was lodged with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and the district election officer of Tirupati besides taking the matter to the notice of the district Collector, the Superintendent of Police and the local returning officer. Still there is no response from any one of them, the TDP senior leader, who is also an advocate, said. The whole night only the TDP activists have been guarding the premises to thwart any attempt to lift the stock from there with the connivance of the officials, he stated.

“Till now no official is bothered to even visit the area and submit a report either to the Election Commission or the CEO,” the MP said. However, the local tehsildar who made a casual visit to the godown and left immediately while the returning officer, when contacted said that since it is a huge material the tax officials have to come to assess the value of the dump. The police did not even bother to make any attempt to guard the whole stock, he added.

Observing that the TDP strongly believes that there are several such godowns in and around Tirupati where large amounts of gifts are stored, Kanakamedala said that the State administration, which is now functioning under the poll panel since the Model Code of Conduct is in force, is adopting an indifferent attitude. The MP demanded the Election Commission to initiate immediate action to seize the whole material and keep a strict vigil on the stocks.

Kanakamedala also wanted the poll panel to conduct inspection of surrounding areas for such storages and identify the purchasers of this material with the source of funds besides booking a criminal case for violation of Model Code. The Rajya Sabha member also wanted the poll panel to fix the responsibility with the election officials for their failure to act on time despite lodging complaints.

Visakha drugs have links to YSR Congress leaders, says Kanakamedala

0

The drugs seized at Visakhapatnam have links with the ruling YSR Congress leaders, said TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar on Saturday. Speaking to media persons Ravindra Kumar said that the drugs were imported by Sandhya Aqua Private Limited and it is owned by Kunam Veerabhadra Rao, he said.

The MP said that Veerabhadra Rao is the brother of Kunam Purnachandra Rao, who is a leader of the YSR Congress. Purnachandra Rao had been active in the YSR Congress and is a close associate of Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy, he said.

Ravindra Kumar further said that Veerabhadra Rao and Purnachandra Rao are not rich enough to invest crores of rupees. He alleged that Vijayasai Reddy’s money is also invested in the company. They are all linked to Vijayasai Reddy and other YSR Congress leaders, the TDP MP alleged.

He wondered how a container worth Rs 50,000 crore can come to the state without the support of the ruling party. He also alleged that the container had come with the blessings of the ruling party leaders. He demanded an explanation from the ruling party leadership on the drugs racket.

The TDP MP discounted the allegation that the drugs container is linked with the TDP leaders and the family members of AP BJP president Daggubati Purandheswari. He said that Purandheswari had no connection with the drugs. He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were making baseless allegations to divert the attention of the people.

The MP further said that the state had become the capital of the drug trade. He said that the state is linked with any drug trade found in the country. The ruling YSR Congress leaders have turned the state into the hub of illegal market and illegal trade, he alleged.

The MP wanted a thorough probe into the drugs container seized in Visakhapatnam. He wanted the investigating agencies to name the accused and also those behind the import. He asked the investigating agencies to tell the facts to the people and expose who is behind this.

Jagan miserably failed to rescue of farmers, says Kanakamedala

0

Neglecting the construction of irrigation projects and their maintenance, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has miserably failed to come to the rescue of the farming sector pushing the State into severe drought, said senior TDP leader and Rajya Sabha member, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Monday.

With the inefficient rule of Jagan and false decisions the farming sector suffered huge loss and the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government has adopted a totally negligent attitude in getting the mandals declared as drought-hit and the Central relief too, Ravindra Kumar told media persons. With the anti-farmer policies of the State Government, 93.2 per cent of the farmers’ families in the State are facing a heavy debt burden, he added.

The State is now facing this untold hardship as the State Government did not complete the Polavaram project of which 73 per cent of the works were completed during the TDP regime, Kakanakamedala observed. This apart, Jagan did not bother to complete the other irrigation projects and the maintenance of the existing ones, he said.

Maintaining that due to natural disasters and deep drought conditions the fame ring community has suffered a loss of Rs 80,000 cr this year, the Rajya Sabha member said and added that with the looting of the paddy farmers by the YSRCP brokers this section has suffered a loss of Rs 21,000 cr in these five years. While the aqua farmers had suffered huge losses, a whopping Rs 10,000 cr, due to the withdrawal of subsidy in power supply to them while the other sections suffered loss due to lack of fertilisers, seeds and pesticides, he felt.

When Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister 1.42 cr acres were under cultivation during both Kharif and Rabi but after Jagan came to power during both the seasons not even 30 lakh acres were cultivated, Kanakamedala pointed out. This apart, the Chandrababu government had spent Rs 65,000 cr in five years for construction of irrigation projects and for providing infrastructure for the farmers, this Government in these five years had spent only Rs 30,000 cr, he added.

Jagan who promised Rs 12,500 for each farmer as financial assistance has confined it to merely Rs 7,500 while Chandrababu Naidu had extended a financial help of Rs 1 lakh each to the farmers in the shape of loan waiver, under Sukhbir and other such schemes, he said. Ravindra Kumar is of the firm opinion that unless Jagan, who is the anti-farmer and who has cheated the community, is sent home, the farmers will not get a favourable atmosphere in the State.

Jagan’s remarks at Kuppam public meeting reflect his mental imbalance: Kanakamedala

0

Senior TDP leader and Rajya Sabha member, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Tuesday came down heavily on Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and said that the comments made by Mr Jagan at the public meeting at Kuppam on Monday against TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and the people of Kuppam clearly indicate his mental imbalance.

Thoroughly exposing the blatant lies uttered by Jagan at the public meeting organised in the name of launching the Kuppam branch canal under the title ‘Nadu-Nedu’, Ravindra Kumar told media persons here that Mr Jagan has mentioned the name of Chandrababu Naidu at least 100 times during his address. “This clearly reflects the fear psychosis Jagan has been suffering from and his mental imbalance,” the MP said.

The Rajya Sabha member particularly expressed his anger at Jagan for talking in such a manner to humiliate the people of Kuppam who elected Chandrababu Naidu for seven successive terms which merely exposed his mean mentality. It is nothing but forcing the people of Kuppam to believe by uttering the lies repeatedly and Chandrababu Naidu’s victory from Kuppam again is a foregone conclusion, he added.

While Chandrababu Naidu has made every effort to create a peaceful atmosphere in Kuppam and take the area on a progressive path for a long time, Jagan after becoming the Chief Minister, has encouraged violence and atrocities there, he felt. Electoral irregularities are ruling the roost there now and the panchayat elections clearly reflect this, he added. Ravindra Kumar pointed out the recent incident in which the YSRCP goons attacked Chandrababu Naidu when he was taking out a rally there. Is this Jagan’s favour for the people of Kuppam, he asked.

Chandrababu Naidu transformed Kuppam as a model segment and has worked hard for the setting up of several noted educational institutions and universities taking Kuppam to global standards, Ravindra Kumar stated. But during the YSRCP rule Kuppam has turned into a centre for atrocious activities, he regretted.

While Chandrababu Naidu has completed 87 per cent of Kuppam branch canal works spending Rs 400 cr, it took five years for Jagan to complete the remaining 13 per cent of works, Ravindra Kumar pointed out and felt that it is nothing but election propaganda. He made it clear that the TDP-Jana Sena combine is certainly forming the government in another 50 days and the recent V-Preside survey clearly indicated that the alliance is going to win 21 Lok Sabha seats while the YSRCP will confine itself to a mere four seats.

Ravindra Kumar is of a firm opinion that the people are ready to defeat the YSRCP and send Jagan home.

Jagan should explain facts about his failure to implement promises, says Kanakamedala

0

Rajya Sabha member and senior TDP leader, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Saturday dared Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, to release a white paper on the facts mentioned in the book ‘Jagan failed in 85 per cent of promises’ published by the TDP.

Talking to media persons at the party headquarters, Ravindra Kumar felt that Jagan should go to the people asking for votes only after explaining facts to them with regard to the implementation of the promises. The Chief Minister has implemented only 15 percent of the promises that he has made to the people through Navaratnalu, his party’s election manifesto and during his pada yatra as the leader of the Opposition, the MP said.

Observing that the four year and nine months rule of Jagan is filled with destruction, dictatorship, corruption and full of brazen lies, Kanakamedala said that the Chief Minister is simply deceiving the people by claiming that he has fulfilled 99 per cent of the promises. “It is not deceiving people by making a false claim that he has fulfilled 99 per cent of the promises but he should reply to the questions raised by the TDP,” the Rajya Sabha member told Mr Jagan.

What happened to the promise of total prohibition, cancellation of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), Special Category States for the State, filling up of 2.30 vacant posts in various government wings and the revision of salaries of the municipal employees, Kanakamedala asked. This apart, till now there is no mention of completing the Polavaram project, the capital city of Amaravathi and the assurance given to the farmers that they will be paid Rs 12,500 every year, he said.

Kanakamedala felt that the entire State is totally devastated by terrorising the people misusing the police system. The fact is that Andhra Pradesh suffered more loss after Jagan became the Chief Minister than when the State was bifurcated, he remarked.

It takes at least another 15 years for the State to recover from this damage and this is possible only if Chandrababu Naidu becomes the chief minister again, the Rajya Sabha member observed. The State can come out of these clutches and the people can regain their happiness only when they vote the TDP-Jana Sena combine to power to make Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister again, the TDP senior leader noted.

The situation has come to such a pass that the Ministers and the ruling party MLAs are explaining to the people the poor condition of their Government, Kanakamedala said. The ruling party leaders are admitting the fact that in the given situation they are not in a position to approach the people and Jagan is solely responsible for this, the MP maintained.

State Govt misusing public funds, says Kanakamedala

0

Member of Parliament (MP) and TDP senior leader, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Monday said that the State Government is totally misusing public funds.

On the one side the public funds are being misappropriated by resorting to scams in the name of schemes and on the other the public money is being embezzled to publicise the party programmes as Government programmes, Ravindra Kumar told media persons at the TDP headquarters here. The MP felt that the miserable failures of the State Government and Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, are evident at every step.

The State Government, instead of taking the State forward is pushing it backward and is killing time with vendetta politics, he said. Kanakamedala is of strong belief that there is absolutely no development except destruction and blatant violation of fundamental rights. “Illegal cases are being foisted against those who raise their voice pointing out such blunders and they are being sent to jail. Also, midnight arrests of those who are uploading postings on social media,” he observed.

Expressing concern that unemployment has reached its peak in the State as new industries are not established and the existing ones are being chased out of the State, Ravindra Kumar said that companies like the Asia Paper, Amara Raja Batteries, Lulu Group, Data Centre, Reliance and others have cancelled their agreements entered into with the State Government. This resulted in over two lakh employees losing their jobs, he said and felt that this is nothing but a political vendetta.

The Periodic Labour Force report clearly mentioned that the State stood on top in unemployment, the MP said and regretted that suicides of jobless youth are reported daily in the State. What happened to the promise made to the unemployed youth that a job calendar will be released every year, filling Group-1 and Group-2 posts, he asked.

Ravindra Kumar is of the opinion that the political vendetta has reached its peak after Jagan came to power. Industrialists are forced to give 50 per cent share in their companies, he said and expressed surprise how this can be justified. If someone fails to give that share, illegal cases are being registered against such industrialists and this is what has happened in the case of Amara Raja Batteries, he said.

The YSRCP leaders, particularly Jagan, are spending sleepless nights due the increasing support to the TDP, he said and stated that it has become a habit for them to criticise TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, and other leaders on a regular basis. How this Chief Minister, who once has said that he did not have a house of his own, can own so many palaces now, Kanakamedala asked and said that under the guise of the power of his father, the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan looted lakhs of crores of public money.

The Chief Minister has forced the police to act as his private army and is using them to attack those who question the failures of the Government, the TDP leader said. Observing that Mr Chandrababu has served the public even without taking rest, he said that the YSRCP leaders have made it a habit only to criticise him and Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan.

Ravindra Kumar said that the TDP is only pointing out the blunders committed by the YSRCP leaders and dared the ruling party leaders to prove that they are not wrong. “Only three more months are left for you and all blunders that you have committed will come into light in these three months,” the TDP MP observed.

Jagan, Sajjala do not honour even court judgments, says Kanakamedala

0

Member of Parliament (MP) and TDP leader, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Monday said that the Andhra Pradesh High Court made it clear that there is no primary evidence against former chief minister and his party supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, in the Skill Development case.

The remarks made by advisor to the State Government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, that funds are transferred to shell companies, clearly show that he does not have any minimum respect to the court judgments, Ravinda Kumar told media persons here. The YSRCP leaders, including Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, do not have minimum respect towards the judgments delivered by the courts, he added.

Courts have pulled up this Government several times in several cases but still neither Jagan nor Sajjala has learnt any lessons, Kanakamedala remarked. “Even now Sajjala is uttering blatant lies,” he said.

Pointing out that several cases have been pending against Jagan, the TDP MP felt that the Chief Minister is creating hurdles to the judicial process in these cases causing hurdles to the inquiry. The TDP MP said that Jagan is not attending the court in the cases pending against him taking shelter under his position as the Chief Minister.

“Jagan should realise the fact that even if a case is registered against a person he or she can not be considered as a culprit,” Kanakamedala observed.

Pointing out that several chief ministers had earlier attended the courts in the cases pending against them, Kanakamedal expressed surprise for how many years Jagan should be in jail for the corruption charges of a whopping Rs 43,000 cr. It is really atrocious linking the donations received by the TDP as membership fee to this Skill Development case, the TDP MP said and maintained that Chandrababu has been sent to jail only with political vendetta.

Kanakamedala said that Sajjala is twisting even the court judgments and is uttering lies that money is transferred to shell companies. The TDP MP expressed confidence that even if any number of conspiracies are hatched against Chandrababu no one can prove that he is corrupt or committed any kind of mistake.

Jagan adopting cheap tricks on Vizag steel, railway zone, says TDP MP

0

TDP Rajya Sabha member, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, on Wednesday felt that the ruling dispensation in Andhra Pradesh is keeping mum though there are serious moves to privatise the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, which is the result of a prolonged fight.

TDP MP, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar alleged that the YSRCP is frequently changing tack on the Visakhapatnam railway zone, he said and asked what is preventing the ruling party leaders from demanding the railway zone from the Centre. Instead, the YSRCP leaders are adopting a negligent attitude and resorting to cheap politics which has become a bane for the State, he observed.

The TDP MP believes that the Centre is not taking any initiative to resolve the disputes between the two Telugu States arising out of the State Reorganisation Act. There is no positive outcome even after the Union Home Ministry’s meeting with representatives of the two Telugu States and the officers who attended the meeting did not open their mouth whether they have given any clarity on the issues haunting the State, Kanakamedala maintained.

The Railway Board has already made it clear that setting up of the railway zone is not possible while the Centre too said that there is no comprehensive detailed project report (DPR) on the zone till now and that it is not profitable too. Despite all these developments, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is still maintaining silence, he remarked.

“As a TDP member, I have raised several questions on the floor of the Rajya Sabha on implementing the promises made to the State in the Reorganisation Act. I even demanded the Centre to come out with the details on what is done to Andhra Pradesh for its development,” he said and maintained that the Centre, in reply to his questions, only made it clear that the State had not paid its share for the combined projects. Thus, there is no progress in the Centrally-sponsored projects, he observed.

The Centre, in writing, also expressed concern that there is no further development since the State is not showing any interest in the Centrally-sponsored schemes. It is a known fact that several educational institutions were set up in the State during Chandrababu Naidu regime, he said adding that the rights of the State were realised during his tenure as the chief minister.

TDP MP Kanakamedala is sure of Amaravati as capital

0

TDP Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar said that Amaravati would remain the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh. He said no force would shift the capital from Amaravati and assured the farmers of getting back their capital.

Ravindra Kumar, who is also an advocate, visited the farmers who have entered Krishna district on Tuesday. The farmers are on padayatra from Amaravati to Arasavalli sun temple in Srikakulam district. They took up the padayatra marking the 1000 days of their agitation against three capitals proposal by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

He blamed the state government for not implementing the AP high court direction on Amaravati development. He said that the high court had directed the state government on March 3, 2022 to develop Amaravati as capital city in six months. It also told the state government to develop the layout to be given to the farmers in three months.

Ravindra Kumar blamed the state government for not developing the layouts or Amaravati as capital city for six months. He said that the state government had filed the special leave petition in the supreme court against the high court order.

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government was only playing with the sacrifices of the farmers, he said. He also alleged that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government was trying to instigate the people of various regions in the state to create regional and communal disturbances in the state.

Former MP from Machilipatnam, Konakalla Narayana Rao, who also met the Amaravati farmers in Krishna district, said that the capital development was already started in Amaravati. He said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government has to complete it. He also asserted that the Central government had given its share of funds to the state government for building the capital.

The structures in Amaravati would require completion, he said and asked the chief minister to develop the city as planned by the previous government.

CM Jagan caused undeclared emergency: TDP MP

0

TDP Rajya Sabha MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar has accused the Jagan Reddy Government of suppressing the Constitutional institutions and systems in Andhra Pradesh with the objective of continuing its autocratic and lawless regime in the state. The factionist and anarchic actions of CM Jagan have created an undeclared emergency wherein there are no fundamental rights for the people and no freedom of expression for the Opposition parties. Since coming to power, Jagan Reddy has systematically attacked the Constitutional institutions and kept the police machinery under his iron grip.

Mr. Ravindra Kumar said that Jagan Reddy did not even bother to resort to contempt of the courts by violating laws and regulations without basic respect. The CM levelled charges of Rs. 6 lakh crore corruption against Chandrababu Naidu but has failed to prove even a single case. But now, the same Jagan Reddy is bent on harassing Opposition leaders with false cases and baseless allegations. Former Minister Atchannaidu was known for his integrity and uprightness. However, he was being harassed for exposing and attacking Jagan rule’s multifarious scams in sand, land, mine and house sites.

The TDP MP said prior announcements by YCP Ministers about future arrests of TDP leaders indicated the pre-planned sketches for harassing Opposition leaders. This was totally against the criminal jurisprudence and amount to serious violations of the Constitutional regulations. During his father YSR’s regime, Jagan Reddy resorted to thousands of crores worth scams as per the CBI chargesheets. Now, the CM should order CBI enquiries into the multiple scams being committed by his own party leaders to plunder all the natural resources.

Mr. Ravindra Kumar said YCP leaders were spreading all falsehoods regarding the arrest of JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son Asmith Reddy. The Government’s claims of savings in Polavaram reverse tendering was also false as this has actually caused a loss of Rs. 7,500 Cr to the AP people because of stoppage of works.

Kanakamedala threatens legal action against Vijayasai

0

Vijayasai Reddy created a sensation by levelling forgery charges against the TDP. But TDP MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar has threatened to take legal action against YSRCP MP if the latter didn’t withdraw his latest complaint asking the DGP to enquire into the alleged involvement of TDP in writing former Srate Election Commissioner’s letter to the Union Home Secretary.

Mr Kanakamedala asserted that he had no role in the drafting of Ramesh Kumar letter nor was the TDP involved. He demanded a public apology from the YSRCP MP. Vijayasai deliberately defamed TDP leaders in order to divert the attention of the Andhra Pradesh people from the failures of the state government in fighting Coronavirus infection. “I will proceed legally against Vijayasai. He has no personal eligibility to make this complaint. This is just a conspiracy to threaten and intimidate rival leaders.”

Mr Kanakamedala said that Vijayasai would face serious charges for misleading a public official with his baseless and ill-intentioned complaint.
