Ramesh cannot follow his own Constitution: Kodali

3

YCP’s most unsparing Minister Kodali Nani has made a devastating attack on State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. He mockingly said that Nimmagadda would continue for a very short period of time in his office. At the most, he will continue as SEC for another three or six months. After that, he will retired and stay permanently in his Hyderabad residence having nothing to do with Andhra Pradesh.

Kodali Nani asserted that Nimmagadda cannot follow his own Constitution to conduct the elections without consulting the Government. The Minister outright said that the local body elections cannot be held in the next few months. A second wave of Coronavirus infections are expected to hit the State in November or December. In such a situation, the Government’s chief concern would be to protect the lives of the people.

Minister Nani further clarified that like before, not many staff could be shifted from one place to another for election duty. Moreover, because of Coronavirus, voters might not come out of their homes to cast their votes. In the interests of people’s health, the Government has no idea to hold local body polls now.

Kodali Nani encouraged by Sajjala to comment on PM: TDP

1

Has PMO taken a serious view of Kodali Nani’s remarks? TDP leader Varla Ramaiah’s statements are confirming this. He has strongly objected to the highly objectionable comments made by YSRCP Minister Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Kodali Nani) on Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to holding puja in temples.

Mr. Ramaiah accused Jagan Reddy Government’s Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy of encouraging Kodali Nani to pass such distasteful comments against none other than the Prime Minister.

The TDP senior leader asserted that naturally, the top leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took very serious view of the AP Minister’s outbursts that dragged Modi’s name into the needless controversy on the presentation of sacred silken robes at Tirumala temple.

Mr. Ramaiah said that after allowing the Minister to speak mindlessly, the YSRCP leadership was now trying to defend him by saying that Kodali Nani was not an educated person and that his comments were made out of lack of awareness of propriety and decorum. Now, the YCP leaders were pleading with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to excuse the AP Minister taking pity for his innocent remarks.

It may be recalled that a controversy has been raging over AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy presenting sacred silken robes to the deity at Tirumala temple alone. The Sadhus, Hindu organisations and the TDP have been demanding the CM to present the robes along with his spouse. But, Mr. Jagan Reddy has defiantly ignored these demands.

At this juncture, Kodali Nani has told the BJP leaders to first ask their Prime Minister to bring his spouse while visiting temples. Nani had also asked why PM Modi did not take his spouse for puja at Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Kodali Nani’s controversial comment on Modi on spouse issue

4

YCP uncompromising Minister Kodali Nani has posed the ultimate question to the BJP leaders. Why didn’t Prime Minister Modi take his spouse during his visits to temples? For that matter, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister was also visiting the temples without his family. Then, where is the moral right for the BJP leaders to demand CM Jaganmohan Reddy to give ‘declaration’ at the Tirumala temple? Nani has made a humiliating attack this time in the face of rising protests from the BJP and the Hindu religious organisation all over.

What more, Kodali Nani reminded the BJP leaders that their party polled less than the votes polled by the NOTA (none of the above) in the 2019 elections. It would be better for them to mind their own party matters. Nani was responding to the BJP demand for his dismissal from the AP Cabinet because of his latest remarks on the TTD declaration issue.

Nani asked why the YCP should dismiss him from the Ministry. He asked whether the BJP would dismiss Amit Shah from the Union Ministry if the rival parties demanded the same.

Kodali Nani advised the BJP leaders to first make PM Modi to take his spouse to the Ram Temple before demanding Jagan Reddy to bring his spouse to TTD temple.

Chandrababu not a Hindu: Kodali Nani explains

3

The exchange of words between Minister Kodali Nani and his rivals on the TTD issue is getting more and more bitter. Even the ruling YCP has left it mostly to Kodali to continue his attacks on the opponents. Now, Nani has made an ultimate attack on Chandrababu Naidu and listed out several reasons why Naidu is not a Hindu.

The reasons given by Nani are that Chandrababu did not lit the funeral pyre of his parents. Also, Naidu has not got tonsure ever at Tirumala temple. Moreover, the Naidu couple carried out puja at Seven Hills with their left hands. Finally, the Minister has confirmed that Naidu is not a Hindu if his activities are taken into consideration.

Obviously, the YCP is not yielding a bit on the issue of ‘declaration’ to be submitted at TTD temple. The Chief Minister has not spoken a single word on this. But, the MLAs and Ministers surrounding him are strongly mounting their attacks asking why the CM should sign in the ‘declaration’ when the TTD itself invited him to present the sacred silken robes.

On its part, the BJP has intensified its criticism saying that Kodali Nani’s anti-Hindu and anti-Balaji comments will be treated as those made by the Jagan Reddy Government. BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy demanded immediate dismissal of Kodali Nani for his continued absurd and inflammatory comments against Hindu devotees and sadhus.

Minister Kodali threatens to run lorries over Devineni

10

The ruling YSRCP seems greatly embarrassed at the latest comments of former Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao. Uma has said that the Government has not deposited any funds towards zero interest loans for farmers till now. So, the farmers cannot trust the ruling party when it says current bills amounts would be deposited in their accounts. Now, one Minister and two MLAs belonging to Uma caste came before the media and unleashed their venomous attack.

Minister Kodali Nani went a step ahead and threatened to run lorries over Devineni if he went on making meaningless allegations against the Jagan Reddy regime. It is true that since coming to power, the YSRCP has made many efforts to find loopholes in order to file cases against Devineni Uma who served as Irrigation Minister during the TDP regime. But, as yet, it could not get hold of any worthwhile documents to proceed with their plans.

The latest controversy on the free power scheme has triggered heated debates. Uma’s latest comments as well as his past record have undoubtedly angered the YSRCP so much so the Minister himself issued direct threats.

Incidentally, YCP MLA Vasanta Krishna Prasad was also present along with Kodali Nani. Devineni Uma has recently made comments against illegal mining by Krishna Prasad’s followers in Kondapalli reserve forests. Instead of protecting the forests, the officials are colluding with the ruling party. All these controversies culminated in the Minister giving a direct threat. Many more political twists are expected in the coming months.

Kodali Nani bitter attack on Chandrababu letter to PM

2

YSRCP Minister Kodali Nani had launched a never-before personal attack on TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, saying that the opposition leader was needlessly carrying out political drama even on the gas tragedy. Nani sarcastically remarked that Naidu was asking permission from the Prime Minister to visit his own home state. This would not happen to anyone. The Minister wondered why Naidu wrote letter to Modi when nobody would stop him from visiting the state.

Nani made unprintable remarks against Chandrababu, saying that very soon after the TDP chief would definitely lose his Opposition Leader status as well going by his deteriorating mental health. If another three to four MLAs leave, that would happen undoubtedly.

Kodali Nani asked what expertise Atchannaidu and Ramanaidu have as they were on the committee formed by Chandrababu to visit Vizag affected villages. The Minister accused Naidu of not coming out of his Hyderabad residence fearing viruses transmission apparently because he crossed 70 years of age. Then, it is not correct for Chandrababu to blame ruling party.

Minister Kodali’s funny twist to his caste fate in Assembly

1

Minister Kodali Nani told the Assembly that his Kamma caste people are foolishly opposing CM Jagan Reddy’s plan to shift Capital to Vizag. He said that by shifting Capital, their CM is actually benefitting the Kamna people who have got 50 to 70 per cent industries, cinema halls, businesses, studios, engineering colleges and hotels.

Minister Kodali sarcastically said that Chandrababu Naidu, Eenadu Ramoji Rao and Andhra Jyoti Radha Krishna are provoking the common Kamma people to come and protest in the streets. He further said that the foolish Kammas are blindly believing the jackal words of Naidu and getting beaten up by the police in illegal protests.

Interestingly, Minister Kodali didn’t bother to talk about the future losses that his caste farmers in Amaravati would suffer once Capital is shifted out. It became a matter of comedy for Kodali who even said that most hotels belong to Kammas in Vizag including Hotel Dolphin owned by Ramoji Rao. Kodali talked of more Kamma leaders like himself migrating to Visakhapatnam to set up businesses there after Capital is moved there.

One historic fact missed by Kodali was that Kammas lost all their hotels in Hyderabad after the Reddy leaders began totally dominating the Congress party in United AP.

There’s no enough land in Amaravati: Minister Kodali

1

Opposition leaders are accusing CM Jaganmohan Reddy of double standards on the land pooling for Amaravati Capital. Before elections, Jagan favoured 30,000 acres but after coming to power, he said that so much land is not necessary. Amid this, Minister Kodali Nani came out with an interesting argument of his own. He says that Jagan actually talked about availability of 30,000 acres government land. But instead, Chandrababu acquired 33,000 acres of private lands from the Amaravati farmers. Most of this land has gone under roads. Naidu has given some land to private institutions. Some land is to be given to farmers towards their share in the form of plots.

Kodali says that now, far less land is available now in Amaravati to build the capital there. At the same time, he asked why the TDP leaders are making such big fuss out of the chief minister’s statement. No final decision is taken yet. But Chandrababu Naidu and his party leaders are raising needless hue and cry. The Minister said that opposition leaders have no useful work to do which is why they are making controversy out of nothing. The farmers need not worry as CM has talked about the development of Amaravati as well.

Hyderabad ORR built by YSR but not Naidu: Kodali Nani

1

YCP Minister Kodali Nani asked Chandrababu Naidu to stop making fake claims for the large-scale developmental projects in Hyderabad, the Capital City of Telangana. Nani says that it’s YS Rajasekhar Reddy, father of Jagan Reddy, who built lot of major infrastructure in Hyderabad surroundings. Even the Outer Ring Road that triggered massive growth there was built during the YSR Regime. Nani said that Naidu is talking as if he is the only person responsible for the whole development of Hyderabad.

Nani’s attack came in response to the Opposition leader’s visit to Amaravati Capital City. The Minister said that their party leaders would not keep silent if Chandrababu continues to level allegations to defame the YSR and Jagan Reddy family. Nani accused Naidu Regime of snatching lands of poor dalit families in the name of Capital City. Nobody is ready to believe the misinformation being spread by the TDP. Nani asked the TDP boss to stop his drama action on the issue of Amaravati Capital. He wondered that Naidu would even say that he would have connected land and sky if power is given to him.

Kodali Nani tongue slip lands Jagan Reddy in soup

1

As the TDP sand agitation reached a peak, Minister Kodali Nani entered the scene and attacked Chandrababu Naidu with highly objectionable language. The ruling YCP leaders were very happy because Nani’s attack looked part of an effective damage control measure. But, in his frenzied speech, Minister Nani brought up the controversial non-declaration of Jagan Reddy during his visits to Tirumala Temple. He went on using unparliamentary language like ‘Evadamma Mogudu’ (whose mother’s husband built Seven Hills temple).

It hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotees where it hurts the most. Consequently, the priestly associations and BJP leaders began demanding a public apology from Kodali Nani. They are asking now why CM Jagan Reddy is not signing Tirumala declaration. It is a centuries-old tradition which requires non-Hindus to declare their faith in Lord Venkateswara Swamy before entering the temple. Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, APJ Abdul Kalam, Presidents, Governors and Chief Ministers had signed this declaration in the past. What is preventing Jagan Reddy from doing so?

The BJP leaders have even filed a police complaint against the Minister in Tirupati alleging that Kodali Nani had hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotees. The issue gave another chance to BJP to take its master plans forward to defame Jagan Reddy Circar among the Hindu voters.

Has TDP become a sinking boat due to Lokesh incapabilities?

0

Ministers are attacking and commenting badly on the personality of Ex Minister Nara Lokesh at every given opportunity. They are saying that it is because of lack of confidence in Lokesh capabilities that MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Telugu Yuvatha President Devineni Avinash have shifted their loyalty. YCP is trying hard to convince that CM Jaganmohan Reddy has no role in the party change of TDP leaders.

The TDP is being forced to go on the defensive when rivals dismiss Lokesh as an inefficient and incapable leader. In a latest personal attack, Minister Kodali Nani repeatedly described Lokesh as a ‘Pappu’ (fatty person). He says that the 4 TDP MPs have also joined BJP because of their losing trust in Lokesh.

Nani referred to Vamsi remarks, saying that the TDP is going to sink like a broken boat under Lokesh who became the weakest point. Even Dharmadhikari Satyam, who brought out sunken boat from the Godavari river, will not be able to help the TDP. Nani says Lokesh is flattening TDP by walking over it like a road roller. It’s true that some leaders formed a coterie around Lokesh and hurt other leaders within TDP. If Chandrababu Naidu doesn’t solve this, the party will look more helpless before YCP personal attacks.

Why Kodali Nani should thank Devineni?

0

Kodali Nani faced lot of problems before he finally quit the TDP and joined the YCP. He continued in that party and was winning Gudivada seat consecutively. His good fortune is that he is now made minister by Jaganmohan Reddy because of fierce fights with the TDP leadership. He is known for his serious comments against Chandrababu Naidu.

But now controversial TDP MP Kesineni Nani says that Kodali should remain thankful to Devineni Umamaheswara Rao. The reason he gave is that Kodali would not have left TDP if he had no conflict with Devineni. Then there is no way Kodali could ever become a minister.

Kesineni has been very critical of TDP leadership since the party disaster in recent election. He has recently met Chandrababu Naidu and narrated his problems. TDP leaders think that Kesineni has also targeted Devineni who has commanded the party affairs in Krishna district for over a decade and half.

Tough time for Kodali Nani – TDP picks up in Gudivada

YCP sitting MLA Kodali Nani is facing the most difficult election in Gudivada assembly segment this time. All eyes are on the campaign trends in this segment now in Krishna district. The TDP cadres have taken it as a prestigious issue to defeat Nani with a special focus. They have recovered fully in the past five years with second rung leadership well in place. Moreover, Devineni Avinash’s candidature has come as a unifying factor for the TDP local leaders.

Why is the TDP so serious about Nani in the entire district? He has been very aggressive in criticising and embarrassing CM Chandrababu Naidu from the beginning. Following ego clashes only, Nani has left the TDP and migrated with almost all of the TDP cadre in the segment to the YCP.

Jaganmohan Reddy has also given considerable support to Nani in the party’s district affairs. He is known for his excellent election management and organisational abilities. But analysts say the TDP local leaders picked up tremendously and strengthened the party in the past five years. It is going to be an uphill task for Nani. Devineni Avinash is expected to make it a very close fight.

Change of plan – TDP targets YCP MLA Kodali Nani

0

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has taken special interest in the Gudivada assembly segment in Krishna district. This segment lies in the heart of delta area but the YCP has taken stronger roots here because of producer turned politician MLA Kodali Nani. It was also very painful for the TDP leaders to tackle Nani who is known as a strong critic of CM. The TDP is changing its plan in 2019 election to make sure that Kodali Nani is defeated this time.

Party insiders say Chandrababu is not interested to field Raavi Venkateswara Rao again from Gudivada. The CM is actively considering the candidature of TDP Youth Wing President Devineni Avinash. There is a considerable following for the Devineni group in the entire segment. Raavi group is also expected to adjust with the change of plan. When the issue has figured in a review meeting, Avinash has also indicated his readiness to contest from Gudivada.

The TDP local leaders are hoping the ongoing changes may increase the winning chances of their party. It has become a matter of prestige for the entire TDP district unit to defeat Kodali Nani in Gudivada this time.
